I've rarely been so pleasantly surprised. I stopped spontaneously and was rewarded with the best steak I've had in ages. The service is old-school and excellent. I wouldn't have guessed it from the name, but judging by the number of visitors, it's definitely an insider tip. The decor is harmonious. Highly recommended.

The same goes for the asparagus my wife had. Be careful, the portions are more than generous! The staff is very friendly, and the dining room has a great atmosphere. I can't understand the bad reviews. Waiters very friendly and very attentive. Didn't have to wait long and the food was excellent. We were asked if everything was OK and we checked to see if there were any drinks at the table. Fresh salad bar and good selection, including dressings. It's definitely not the last time I've been there, it's very good value for money. Top restaurant 👍

Great restaurant, obviously very well known in the region - during the week on a normal Tuesday there was already a lot of activity here in the afternoon. We ate very well and plentifully, the service was nice, the selection was huge. The interior is a bit old, but that's not a problem. You sit comfortably and it's just a pleasant atmosphere.

Yes, we ate well. Can be further recommended. Staff friendly. The interior design is wonderful. If you want to sit outside you can, but you have to expect street noise. But it's also beautifully decorated outside. The portions are large. The quality was still lacking for me, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. But that shouldn't stop anyone from visiting this restaurant. Because it is definitely recommended.

Were invited to dinner with a lot of people. The air wasn't too warm at all, no ventilation. As always, I ordered the grill plate. I have to say this time, I wasn't completely satisfied. Fries still not crispy, pork too dry, but cevapcici very good. Salad was very good, this time the liver and the small fillet were missing, but the price was significantly increased from last year, but the food still came quickly. I'll do another test meal in due course and then decide whether I'll come back. Was there again for a test meal, all I can say is that the grill plate came pretty quickly, but the fries were again McDonald quality, again not recommended. Either the plate has become smaller or the amount of meat has been reduced, which is a shame. Too expensive at €19.50. Staff friendly.

During my first two visits about 4 years ago I was very dissatisfied. Because of an invitation, I went there again and my impression was confirmed again: the service is fast but routine. No smile, no kind word... pure dismissal. The food is on the table quickly, but you definitely save on quality. The fries are lukewarm to cold and the meat is generally tough. It is probably kept warm for a long time so that it can end up on the plate quickly. The salad bar is well equipped and is regularly refilled. The restaurant is rather noisy, but there is a cozy atmosphere. At least, if you ignore the many stamens and the dust in general... The price of the restaurant is relatively low. A meat dish and three beers for a total of under €30 is totally ok. But not if you have to let the food go back almost completely because it just doesn't taste good. Too bad, not an insider tip.

Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. The service was subpar. The jackets hadn't been taken off yet and the gentleman was standing at the table with a pen and piece of paper and wanted to take the order. No mention of the salad bar. In the end we sat at the table for over 20 minutes and it wasn't cleared away. We weren't asked if everything was OK or if we had anything else we wanted. Unfortunately, the food was just so-so and not of good quality. Unfortunately only quantity instead of quality.

Oh well. Very popular, always full, staff attentive. A little more effort with the food and this would be a great restaurant. 🙂

Our 'house and farm Croatian' had no space left and we were looking for an alternative. The first contact on the phone was friendly, courteous and the table was quickly reserved. The ambience is appropriate and you sit in a niche separated from other tables, which gives privacy in the rather large restaurant. The restaurant was very full that evening. The unobtrusive waiter was there quickly and took our order without any time pressure. However, he was unobtrusively always there when we needed him. The food actually came very quickly and was good! The meat was as ordered and quite good quality. The piece of steak was very good. I would like to highlight the extensive salad bar. There were certainly good vinegars and oils to choose from in addition to various dressings. I didn't know that yet! Since we were sitting not far away, we also noticed that there was a young Dane who was in charge of the salad bar. She checked them regularly, cleaned them and put every cutlery back neatly. Top! If there was something to criticize, I would mention the pepper sauce that I ordered: in my opinion, it was a not so tasty finished product. I may be wrong - next time I visit I would try something different. Finally, the price/performance ratio: very good and we paid less than expected. We drove a few kilometers to the restaurant and will happily keep this restaurant as a good alternative.

A long-established, good Balkan restaurant with a cozy atmosphere... it was very full, nan was greeted politely and escorted to a vacant seat. The waiters were extremely friendly and helpful. The portions of food we ordered were very large, prepared very tasty, and you could put together your own side salad at the salad buffet. A visit to this restaurant will not be the last. Highly recommended, and in summer you can also sit outside!

Were there for the first time today and I have to say the food was top, everything was prepared to perfection and tasted excellent as well as generous portions, I would even give 10 stars for the ambience, I can only recommend it, top gastronomy at its best and the service and friendliness is hard to beat. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👌

Friendly service and a very nice atmosphere. Had dinner with my work colleagues in the evening. It was very good and the price/performance ratio was also right. I'd love to come back.

Large portions and it tastes good too, but you should be a meat lover. It's also nice that a rich salad from the buffet is included in the price of the meal. I also liked the Croatian side dish rice with ajvar, especially because it wasn't completely overcooked as is often the case in other Balkan restaurants. If there is anything left over from the generous portions, you can easily have the leftovers packed up. The staff is very child-friendly. As is the case everywhere in the catering industry, the prices have risen, but are still reasonable for what is on offer.

I've been going there regularly since 2009 and am satisfied as always. You also have to show understanding to the wait staff, they are just people who try to make it as pleasant as possible for the guests. If the restaurant is full at peak times, they don't always have the time to quickly take care of a guest's wishes, but they do so promptly. In addition, the entire team is always friendly, no matter how much stress they are under. I can't understand some of the comments here. I just say friendly, accommodating and always an alternative solution if someone doesn't like something and respectful treatment of the guests. Most guests should also provide this to those working there.

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years. The dishes are delicious and rich. Good eaters will definitely get their fill here. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The only point deducted is that non-alcoholic drinks like Cola, Fanta and Sprite taste “stale” to me. I couldn't detect any carbon dioxide in these drinks. I tried again several times, but the result remained "stale". Since then I have been drinking mineral water from small bottles there. Update from December 8th, 2024 with current photo: Unfortunately, the pepper skewer today was not of the usual quality. Unfortunately the meat was like rubber! I won't order the skewer there again. For today's meal I give a maximum of 3 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 which is already very generous.
