⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lind Hotel an der Ems – Mauritz Restaurant: Sunday Menu at its Finest From the warm welcome in the stylish foyer to the last spoonful of dessert – everything was just perfect. The location is top-notch: a spacious, bright terrace with a view of the green surroundings and the Ems River, comfortable seating under parasols, and a well-kept, peaceful ambiance. Great location! A culinary hit. The Sunday menu was perfectly coordinated and delicious: fresh bread with delicious dips to start, followed by a crisp, colorful salad. The main course was a piping hot pan of tender, various meats, chanterelle mushrooms, green beans, and potatoes, served with an aromatic cream sauce. To finish, a silky crème brûlée with berry ice cream and fruit sauce – beautifully presented and delicious. The portion sizes were just right, the ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was just right. Value for money: very good. The service was excellent: attentive, fast, friendly, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. Special requests were fulfilled with a smile, and everything was perfectly timed. Summary: An all-around successful Sunday – excellent taste, a perfect Sunday menu, great service, and a beautiful location. A clear 5 stars and an absolute recommendation!

We were there on a Friday evening and had reserved a table for two at 6 p.m. The waitress was very attentive and courteous. We chose the buffet and had very delicious food. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the meat was also cooked to perfection.

Went to the asparagus buffet in the restaurant today...according to their culinary calendar there are sophisticated, modern creations...but you had to look in vain at the buffet. There was only the traditional food, just far too simple and unimaginative. We didn't expect the bagged hollandaise from Lukull either. It was also lukewarm...so was the dessert. Too bad 🤷‍♀️

Things can always get worse 😢 What good is the most beautiful ambiance if the rest of the meal isn't quite right? A real shame. Our food was borderline mediocre; an over-salted soup was replaced, but then recalculated. The main thing is that the cash register was correct. The wait times with three occupied tables were very long. The table was cleared several times only after being asked; everyone just walked past us without anything else in their hands. We're used to it differently. On the other hand, five young people (service staff?) were intensely engaged in a conversation and private cell phone calls. This was obviously more important than taking care of the few guests. At least during our stay, work somehow got in the way, as everyone had enough to do with themselves. Sorry, but you'll usually get better service in any village pub. Our conclusion: not again - there are plenty of alternatives!

Well, I've been to many places around the world and many restaurants. Where should I begin? You stand in the room and wait, out of politeness, until the waiter offers you a selection of tables for reservations, or a table is available. Five servers walk past you, uninterested. Speaking of five servers, I sat in front of my dishes for a full 45 minutes. During that time, four of these servers walked past me at least 13 times without serving. I was once told: "A server who doesn't serve is a bad server!" I had the large wrap, which, well, wasn't exactly a breeze. The sauce was sour [almost too sour], the salad mix was okay. I also ordered a portion of fries with ketchup and mayo. The fries were good, they included mayonnaise, and after asking twice, the ketchup finally arrived about 10 minutes later. All in all, I wouldn't really recommend eating there, but going for drinks is also an unpleasant experience. Drinks took up to 10 minutes, and I was only able to reorder once my food was brought. I didn't ask again. I had to go to the server myself to pay, because, surprisingly, no server came to my table for almost 45 minutes.

I would like to start with the positive. The employees are very friendly and helpful. However, sometimes there are mix-ups with orders. However, this will of course be corrected without complaint. The food is really good big portions. In my opinion, most of it is homemade. The outdated furniture can be rated neutrally, but overall there is a pleasant atmosphere. The main point of criticism is that the waiting time is far too long. Some guests wait 45 minutes between starter and main course. Overall, the meal with a ready menu took 1 hour 50 for three courses, which is not up to date.

We were there in the afternoon for a café and cake. Since the restaurant is very elegantly decorated, I was hoping for a good cappuccino. Unfortunately, a very bitter cafe with hard foam came out, clearly visible from the "one button" machine. The cup also had an inappropriate shape for a cappuccino. The ice cream we took with it had frozen water inside, like at home when the ice has melted and frozen again several times. The service was nice, but it's a real shame to serve such a poor cafe in such a very appropriate location and in a nicely decorated room.

Sehr schöne Terrasse, aber leider war der Kaffee und auch der Milchcafé vom Geschmack sehr schlecht, leckerer Kuchen und die 0,4 l Cola war mit 6,20 Euro definitiv zu teuer (enthielt auch noch drei Eiswürfel). Wir werden uns andere Lokalitäten suchen, schade.

I eat here often and I have to say that I am always extremely satisfied. The staff is extremely attentive and the dishes and drinks are first class. I couldn't find anything negative at all about my last stay. Even though it's not a very long distance (approx. 70 km), I really enjoy eating here. I have also used the affiliated hotel several times and have always been extremely satisfied. To everyone who says that the food is too expensive for them, I can only say that the prices are absolutely reasonable. If you don't appreciate fine dining, you should go to Burger King or McDonalds. But if you appreciate fine ingredients and great dishes, you've come to the right place.

We went to the Lind Hotel/Restaurant for Christmas brunch today. The selection of dishes was manageable. Unfortunately the food was consistently cold at lunchtime. I pointed out to an employee four times that the desserts were empty. It wasn't until the fifth time that a chef apparently got the hint and kindly asked if the children wanted ice cream. Otherwise there was nothing for the kids for dessert, as many other things contained alcohol, such as the tiramisu. Unfortunately, the waiters weren't very attentive either. It took three requests or about half an hour to get the wine list. Unfortunately, no one came to take the order for 45 (!!) minutes. Used plates were not put away and it looked like a cafeteria. Only after asking again was it cleared away. Only in one case was there a quick response: when we asked for the bill 😀 In summary, we can say that brunch is unfortunately not recommended.

Ambiance is nice... yes, unfortunately that's almost it... Portions are very small for the money and it takes an extremely long time. I always see the staff smoking on Rathaus Street. I think my cook was smoking the whole time and staring at the car drivers. Waiting 95 minutes is not possible!!! The waitress was joking but drinks also took a long time. If time wasn't so slow it would be good. Food tastes great but portion is a rip off for the price

Leider ein enttäuschender Abend im Mauritz, wobei ich einräumen möchte, dass das servierte Essen tatasächlich sehr lecker war. Der Service allerdings entsprach in keinster Weise den Erwartungen, die man an ein solches Restaurant stellen darf. Z.B. war die Reservierung anstelle im Restaurant selbst im Vorbereich erfolgt und wir für ein nicht gebuchtes Menü eingeplant. Kann passieren und wurde dann auch korrigiert. Beim von uns gewählten Gericht und der Vorspeise wurden allerdings kleine Änderungswünsche abgelehnt. Dies mit dem Hinweis, dass wenn jeder der Gäste so etwas möchte, die Küche dies nicht bewältigen könnte. Das der Wechsel einer Beilage eine solche Herausforderung ist, hat uns erstaunt. Auch wurde uns auf Nachfrage keine Getränkekarte für die Weinauswahl gereicht. Vorab kam die Frage, warum wir den nicht schon mit dem Prosecco bestellen hätten. Dann wurde die Karte vergessen. Erklärt wurde dies alles mit Personalmangel. Ein nachvollziehbares Argument, aber auf der anderen Seite, bleibt die gestellte Rechnung davon ja auch vollkommen unberührt.

Gutes Essen, miserabler Service! Ein Gericht wurde bei der Bestellung verwechselt und musste nachträglich gemacht werden, ein Getränk kam erst nach vierfachem Nachfragen, Besteck und Geschirr wurden nicht fachmännisch auf- und abgeräumt. Insgesamt sehr unaufmerksam, dazu eher unangebrachte Witze - nach dem ganzen Debakel wurde auch keine Kompensation angeboten. Sehr schwach!

Leider war das Erlebnis nicht so schön wie erwartet. Die Bedienung war eher unangebracht, mit zu vielen unpassenden Witzen und eher weniger gutem Service. Essen kam erst nach über 90 Minuten, um Getränke zu bestellen musste man dreimal nachfragen und nach Nachtisch oder Kaffee/Espresso wurde nicht Mal gefragt. Schade.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Wir waren 2x im hauseigenen Restaurant essen: das Essen (einmal Buffet mit Gänsefleisch, einmal Hirschrücken und Lachsforelle) war super, der Service sehr nett und humorvoll. Es gibt ein paar Standard Cocktails, Bier, Softdrinks und eine große Auswahl Weine.

Die sehr schöne Terrasse an der Ems hat uns angelockt. Die Speisekarte war eine positive Überraschung! Selten sieht man auf der Karte eines deutschen Restaurants so viele vegetarische Gerichte. Da fiel die Entscheidung für Pfifferlinge in Rahm mit Serviettenknödel sehr schnell. Meine Begleitung bekam Pfifferlingsrisotto (natürlich glutenfrei). Da wir mit dem Auto dort waren, konnten wir die Weinkarte nicht testen. Beide Gerichte waren sehr gut, der Service war im Ordnung und das Ambiente perfekt für einen sonnigen Sommertag. Was will man mehr? Wir kommen wieder!

Kleine Karte mit außergewöhnlichen Gerichten. Die Ochsenbäckchen waren sehr zart und geschmacklich ein Erlebnis. Die Kürbisravioli waren sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das Anrichten auf den Tellern ist klasse. Jederzeit wieder. Die Kellner sind teilweise Azubis vom Hotel Lind, die noch Erfahrung benötigen. Die Cocktails sind nicht empfehlenswert. Da braucht es noch mehr Mixerfahrungen. Habe zwei Mal den Caipi zurück gehen lassen. Klasse essen zu guten Preisen.

Restauranten har i utgangspunktet alle forutsetninger for å lykkes; beliggende i et flott hotell, bra mat, fin lokasjon i begynnelsen av en sjarmerende gate. Maten er bra, selv om hovedretten var svært beskjeden, men betjeningen håndterer ikke mange gjester på en gang. Noen er profesjonelle og effektive, andre tilsynelatende ikke til stede. Da blir det kluss. Å holde orden på en enkelt gjest bør være enkelt, men det greier de ikke. Ventingen er lang på både det å bestille drikke, få bestikk og annet på plass, og få brød og drikke på bordet. Dette trekker ned helhetsinntrykket som kunne vært bedre hadde betjeningen jobbet mer effektivt. Et sted å besøke men vær forberedt på venting dersom det er en hektisk dag.

Well, I was there with my friend and the seller had a beer and a kebab in his hand, we had to wait until he finished. Then we were able to order and the food was great, but there were people walking through the store the whole time. That spoiled the experience, but the food was delicious😊
