The food was great and the service was friendly.

Compared to other Greek restaurants in Falkensee, this one has too much potato side dish and not enough meat. Everything tasted good, but I usually can't finish the portions, though that's not a problem here. Here, the gyros is the side dish and the potato slices are the main course.

The food was great, the service was good, and they had ouzo. It was a bit chilly in the conservatory.

For us, this is our absolute favorite Greek restaurant and the best in Falkensee! We've been to Mati's several times now, and the quality is consistently good, with generous portions. The garlic potatoes are especially fantastic! One suggestion regarding the service: After the main courses, we usually didn't receive any further service. We were left sitting with empty plates for quite a while. Even after asking for dessert, no one came back. Otherwise, the service has always been fine.

We had a table with 9 people. The staff was friendly, but we were still allowed to order twice for one order, even though the place wasn't even half full. The corner tables seemed unimportant. The Cretan plate is a standard dish, although the hidden gyro was sometimes very crispy and even burnt. The chicken could have been cooked a little less.

The food and the staff have been better. Yesterday's meal was very dry and tasted bland. A mixed grill for €19.80. The garlic bread was more like cake batter. The tzatziki was from a bucket, and the side salad consisted of 98% iceberg lettuce. Yesterday, in any case, was nothing. The waiter was rarely seen. I hope it will be better next week; otherwise, that's it for eating out at Mati.

Definitely recommended. Reserving a table is a good idea and easy if you're planning on having a group of people in the evening. I definitely recommend the dishes with Mati potatoes. I'll see if I can teach them to our Greek friend at home. Crispy roasted potatoes with (cream sauce?) and cheese. You really don't need anything else.

On Saturday we spontaneously felt like eating Greek. So we called at lunchtime and got a reservation for two people that same evening. The ambience is very nice. The portions are large and taste great. The garlic potatoes are simply amazing. The price-performance ratio is great. The staff is very nice and attentive. We were offered free ouzo several times during the visit. Since we were there on a Saturday and the restaurant was very busy at that time, the parking lot was full. Kölner Straße, which leads off from Seegefelder Straße, is suitable for parking vehicles and is about a 3-minute walk from the restaurant.

Overall very good...AS ALWAYS...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We went here for dinner again after a long time. So far we have always been very satisfied. This time it didn't work at all. We were very disappointed. It started with the salad. The way it looked was the way it tasted. It only consisted of iceberg lettuce, half a teaspoon full of grated carrots, a small olive and some dressing on top. Went back after a small bite. To be fair, I have to say that it was the salad that led the way. But still not acceptable for me. Sorry. The mati potatoes tasted like nothing more than fat and the gyro was dry and partially burnt. Aside from the food, the service was very friendly and attentive. Nevertheless, we won't be coming back here any time soon. Too bad.

Definitely recommended for Greek dishes in Falkensee, friendly staff and warm atmosphere, wide variations in the menu, the meatroll and grill eggplants are tasty! Meatroll sauce is heavenly. During festive seasons, recommend to reserve a table, we were lucky to be there before 5.30pm and get the last free table a few days before Christmas

I was invited there for dinner today. We sat in the large winter garden. It's nice and bright, but unfortunately also very noisy. This makes it a bit loud. The service is very friendly and tries to serve the many guests as best as possible with little staff. To be so friendly is commendable! The food is ok, the garlic potatoes could do with less garlic for my taste. I find it a shame that there is a lot of meat on the menu. This reminds me a little of the 80s and 90s, when there were Greek and Yugoslavian restaurants everywhere, where a lot of meat was the most important thing. Anyone who likes to eat gyros, souvlaki, bifteki etc. will certainly be satisfied here. Personally, I would like some more modern cuisine. But as we all know, that is a matter of taste. Staff is definitely top!

Good food, the pepperonis are recommended. But unfortunately I was disappointed when the cow's milk cheese was sold to me as sheep's cheese. As a cheese professional, I quickly recognized the difference and it saddened me. Nevertheless, the range of ouzo is very extensive, anyone who enjoys ouzo can and should adopt the patronizing ouzo style. Oh, and 5 euros for tzatziki is also really steep. But I think I'll come back for Pommi.

First of all, not particularly friendly on the phone, then the agreed time was not kept. I can use the burnt gyros to heat me up in winter. Anyone who serves that to their guests has no respect for the customer. But you can try to get rid of your kitchen waste when ordering to-go.
