You are not allowed to visit this restaurant if it is fully booked. In this case you wait over an hour for the food. It is also quite loud when there are so many guests in the restaurant. The food itself is good as is the service. But would go again.

We didn't like the food. Neither the fish (salmon) nor the meat. The appetizer platter for 2 people for more than €25 was catastrophic. It's all just fried stuff and bread. We had never had a worse starter platter.

In general, like all Greek restaurants now: for me, the simplest farmer's cuisine with briefly fried meat with steamed side dishes, MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE

We had a spontaneous meal there on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a table because it was very full. The ambience is very nice. The waiters are all very quick and polite. There is a small, tasty salad to accompany the main course. The food was very seasoned and tasted delicious. We would come again and again!

Good food, the pepperonis are recommended. But unfortunately I was disappointed when the cow's milk cheese was sold to me as sheep's cheese. As a cheese professional, I quickly recognized the difference and it saddened me. Nevertheless, the range of ouzo is very extensive, anyone who enjoys ouzo can and should adopt the patronizing ouzo style. Oh, and 5 euros for tzatziki is also really steep. But I think I'll come back for Pommi.

You can sit outside or inside in the glass house. Atmosphere and food very good. Friendly staff and the ouzo is free. Prices are also humane. Recommended.

We've been there a few times and everything was actually ok. Today we thought we would take something home with us and it was just an absolute disgrace. First of all, not particularly friendly on the phone, then the agreed time was not kept. I can use the burnt gyros to heat me up in winter. Anyone who serves that to their guests has no respect for the customer. But you can try to get rid of your kitchen waste when ordering to-go.

Ouzo was only served twice. At the beginning with the drinks and at the end when paying the bill. I know this better from other restaurants that offer Greek food.

Called in advance and asked if the kitchen was still open. The surprise arrived... half the menu couldn't be ordered because there were no gyros left. Ouzo is also served stingily. In any case, we won't be coming back.

The grill plate was plentiful and I enjoyed it very much. There is generally nothing to complain about in terms of service. The only thing that bothers me is that alcohol is always served. Why not try an espresso as a non-alcoholic option?

The service was friendly, if a bit taciturn. The time it took to serve the food was reasonable. We were disappointed with the food, which was hardly seasoned and certainly not Greek. Instead of pizza cheese, I expect feta in/on the rice noodles, and for me a Greek salad includes cabbage and olives. I've never had to add seasoning in a Greek restaurant before... Unfortunately, convenience products are also used, e.g. the “fried potatoes”, which were fried, pre-cooked potato slices.

Nice service. There was ouzo as a welcome. Food was okay. Way too much potatoes for my taste. Little gyros. Meat was good. I'm satisfied.

Nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. We had the garlic bread, puff pastry with spinach, fried zucchini and the vegetable grill pan. The puff pastry was very tasty, the zucchini was well seasoned, the garlic bread was interesting but the garlic flavor was missing. In the pan the potatoes were very bland but otherwise good. It was a nice evening there.

A really nice Greek restaurant with lots of seating outside and inside. We were there quite late to eat, around 9:30 p.m., except for the gyro pan, we could have ordered everything. Since we are vegetarian/vegan, we tried the various starters: fried zucchini, garlic toast with tzatziki, dumplings with spinach and, as the main course, the vegetable pan. There was a small salad for free beforehand. We liked everything very much, except that the garlic toast could have had a little more garlic and the potatoes in the vegetable pan could have been seasoned a little more strongly. Ouzo was also served, right at the beginning, on request in between and at the end.

We were there for the first time today. We were greeted with an ouzo 😂 the salad was very refreshing. My husband and I ate the same meal. Delicious!!!! Metaxa sauce perfect for us. The potatoes must have been some kind of béchamel, really tasty. Exactly our taste. Unfortunately I couldn't get mine through my stomach tube. The rest was packed up. I hope the waiter doesn't think I didn't like it. We will be back. With my parents-in-law.

Restaurant Mati is one of many Greek restaurants in Falkensee. Unfortunately, it doesn't stand out in terms of quality, service or ambience. The food is acceptable. The waiters are attentive and you don't have to wait long for the food. The portion sizes are a bit too small. In return you are offered ouzo several times if you like it.

After the renovation there is now a very nice, bright atmosphere. Significant increase in level. Food exceptionally good and tasty. Gyro plate nice and crispy and plentiful. For me, the surprise plate is the “insider tip”. Very tender and yet juicy grilled 2 types of meat (chicken/pork), 1 minced steak and gyros with a very tasty Metaxa sauce as well as potato slices and tzatziki. I haven't eaten better grilled meat in years. Tzatziki should not be underestimated, pleasantly mild but you can still enjoy the aftertaste the next day.....:-)) The dessert was also great. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back. PS: Uzo was refilled several times by the house... our next visit will show whether this is always the case.

Very good Greek food in Falkensee. I can only recommend that you should definitely try it. Tip: In a Greek restaurant there should also be a real side salad with the main course... This could be improved...

We have come here a few times now. This doesn't happen without reason 😉 We have already ordered and picked up. We were always very satisfied with the quality and the portions. Small requests/changes were accepted and implemented without any problems. The staff is friendly, attentive and within calling distance. As is usual with Greeks, there is no skimping on ouzo. At the time of the construction site you could sit outside on the clean and attractive terrace, I think once Seegefelder Straße is opened it will be a little louder again. The interior design is attractive and a lot of things have been customized, which of course makes a difference. The prices are not bargains but reasonable. After Corona and the sales tax, which has now been raised again, you might eat out less, but you'll be happy to pay the prices if everything is right.

The tomato soup and the soutsoukakia dish are very tasty. The service and waiters are very personable, nice and friendly. It's just a shame that the pits are still in the olives when you get the food and they haven't been removed beforehand, which is why only 4 stars.

Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour for our food. The food was good, but the portions were small for a Greek. We couldn't take anything home with us. It was very loud because of the large rooms. Comfortable is different then.

My meal was good, the salad was fresh, unfortunately with a lot of dressing, gyros were crispy, overall I was well full, but not overly so. The waiters were friendly, but special requests posed problems and were rejected or not taken into account without asking. A pity. It was recently renovated and was very clean overall.

Alle waren sehr freundlich, es war aber leider bitterkalt im Lokal, nicht nur ich saß mit Jacke da. Das stört natürlich maßgeblich die Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist sehr fleischlastig und fettig. Viel ouzo wurde zwar gereicht, aber lieber griechische Köstlichkeiten mit Maß statt Stein im Magen. ;-) Lokal ist in die Jahre gekommen (bausubstanz/Toiletten...) Service freundlich und schnell

Schönes Restaurant mit sehr guter Essensauswahl und nettem Personal. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut.
