We don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. We tried it several times, but the food just didn't get any better. It was always too salty. The salad didn't seem fresh. One lettuce leaf, a small half tomato, that was it. After informing the waitress, we were ignored. The price-performance ratio is simply not right. The seats are worn, and there are dried-out plants by the window. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it. The restaurant's response is very unfriendly and insulting. We were very friendly and accommodating there and in our review, and only answered honestly when asked whether the food was good. It's a shame that comments are dismissed disrespectfully and insultingly here. This unfortunately encourages us to not do it again. So, we simply answered a question, and in a friendly way, but you are insulting. And a restaurateur should have respect for his guests. We also had respect for your staff. Your insults don't make the food any better for us.

Very tasty food, you can choose between small or regular portions, which is really great. The service was friendly and attentive, and of course, there was the house ouzo. The restaurant is very comfortable, and you can also sit on the terrace when the weather is nice. We'd be happy to go back.

You always want to be open and fair in such discussions. It was my first time there, and for me, it will be my last. I don't understand how one can get so carried away with the effort to create modern Greek cuisine. I sum up the culinary experience with "why does everything have to be so oily?"... tastes differ, but for me, a gyro is dry, whether from a standing grill or a rotisserie or whatever - but drowning it in a marinade completely obscures the delicate roast flavors. I don't want to know the secret of the salad dressing—it wasn't actually dressing. I don't want to eat that again. Other things on the surrounding plates also looked rather "forced." The service compensates somewhat, friendly and professional. As is the case with taste, there's no accounting for the interior design. Therefore, more than two stars for the nice people who work there aren't enough.

Two people and a small dog (a Havanese girl) wanted to sit on the terrace in the shade; the "chef" unnecessarily "told" us that the service might be forgotten if we sat there... staff shortage! How inhospitable is THAT?; instead of giving us a friendly greeting as guests. We really wanted to leave after this "number"... but we were hungry. For a Greek restaurant with a rating of 4.5 stars (which we honestly cannot understand), there were not even two ouzos for two guests to start with... a poor number. And when the bill came, there was only one ouzo (for two people... how unfriendly is that?). Probably only because we ordered an ouzo on the bill... a really sad number at a time when all restaurateurs should be grateful for their guests' visit. The portions were also very modest for a "Greek"... so don't go there if you're hungry. Or always plan on having a starter, main course, and dessert. Then you might go home feeling full. However, the quality of the food was mediocre, in contrast to the service, which could definitely be improved... at least somewhat. We certainly won't be coming back here; our own fault. Being cheap isn't cool... it's just embarrassing.

I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation; it's a very nice place and the food is delicious. Thank you for that.

This is more or less a Greek restaurant like you'd find in any German city. Unfortunately, we didn't feel particularly welcome and had the impression that other guests (regulars?) had been given preferential treatment. The gyro plate was OK. My wife's giant shrimp were very high quality, but were cooked with a lot of butter, as was the broccoli. She thought she was ordering something light, but what she got was quite the opposite. We were a bit disappointed that we only received dry bread and no tzatziki. We also didn't get the obligatory on-the-house ozono as a welcome drink or with the bill, while other guests did. A small extra request (ice cubes for my wife's drink) was forgotten once, but even when we asked for it, we didn't get it, even though it had been promised. We didn't want to ask again so as not to spoil our mood. We received a small on-the-house dessert with the bill, which was delicious.

The food was delicious. Friendly service. Ouzo and delicious desserts were served on the house. There are also many small dishes and children's dishes.

This time, the moussaka was prepared with mashed potatoes instead of potatoes, as is traditional. There are certainly rare regional variations with a type of béchamel, but this was definitely not the case here. In about 20 visits to Greece (Chalkidiki, Crete, Rhodes, and Corinth), I've never experienced anything like this. My Greek friends aren't familiar with it either and find it untypical. We also have many Greek recipes that we've cooked ourselves, none of which are familiar with this variation. The older server, in contrast to the other employees, is not very friendly and completely inflexible when it comes to requests for changes. The older owner, whom we met on previous visits, is the complete opposite: very friendly and customer-oriented. It would be better for the restaurant to use the lady in the background, performing simple tasks in the kitchen, rather than at the customer interface. That would be better for the restaurant and would also be more in keeping with her personality.

We were in this restaurant for the first time as part of a larger group. We were all pleasantly surprised. The food arrived promptly, was hot, and tasted very good. The service was very good and competent. We will be back.

It was our first visit and we were extremely pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and humorous. The food was also excellent. The best restroom I've ever seen—clean, and in addition to sanitary pads and tampons, there was deodorant, dry shampoo, and hand cream. Someone really put some thought into this. The entire interior was very nice. Highly recommended.

I've been eating there with my family for several years. I think the move to its current location a few years ago has definitely done the restaurant a lot of good. The food is great and the service is very friendly. If you want to sit outside, I recommend sitting behind the building, as the street is quite busy and therefore quite noisy. A definite recommendation for anyone who enjoys Greek food!

It was really great. A little crowded but it was okay. Food was at the table quickly and really tasty.

Ordered food to take away, waited 10 minutes on site (30 minutes in total) I didn't like the taste and it wasn't even warm. The service was very rude when it was explained to me that I didn't want a side dish but that I should still pay for it. After a short discussion I was just told not to be so puny.

The quality has deteriorated over the years. The owner often seems annoyed and not particularly friendly. It's a shame, as we used to enjoy going there.

Were here today, March 16, 2025, for the first time to eat. Our neighbors invited us. Table reserved (required on weekend). Very friendly welcome, quick service and good food. Price/performance is good. We felt very comfortable. The ambience is modern and yet Greek. Just a stone's throw away from Spandau. We'd love to come back.

Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Und das Essen? Einfach super! Es hat uns allen geschmeckt ob groß oder klein. Die Portionen waren großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Incredibly unfriendly - although many tables were free, it was claimed that SPÖ had nothing left for 5 people. The boss seemed friendly, but was told off by his wife that we couldn't get a table. Arrogant and arrogant! Just don't go there!

Today we had dinner with friends at Karyatis Restaurant and we were thrilled! As soon as you enter you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is familiar and just makes you feel good. The service was warm, attentive and friendly. You can tell that people work here with passion. And the food? Simply great! We all enjoyed it, big and small. The portions were generous and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. If you want to enjoy an evening in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent food and great service, this is the right place for you. We'll definitely be back!

Tasty and reasonably priced. The starter platter paired with a small dish gives you the hospitable and appetizing Greece of Falkensee.

Everything took a very long time, until we were allowed to order drinks we were ignored for 20 minutes. As an aperitif we had old Prosecco that was no longer carbonated. The food came after over an hour and was carelessly prepared. Reordered drinks were forgotten several times. It's a shame, but you only go there once.

We were very warmly welcomed even though we didn't have a reservation. A place full of smiling guests and staff. Greek atmosphere and incredibly delicious food and wine. The food didn't taste that good on a Greek vacation. We received uzo to start and a tasty mini dessert at the end. It was delicious☺️

I've been coming to Karyatis for years, but last week for my birthday it wasn't nice. My friend and I got our beer straight away, but then we were forgotten. The guests who came after us got their ouzo and were allowed to order food. When their food was brought out, I asked if we had been forgotten. The waitress babbled something incomprehensible, when the waiter came, I asked if the welcome ouzo was no longer available. I hope this was a one-time blip. But the food was delicious as always! To your answer: That's not entirely true, I only comment when something goes wrong. I had rated you very positively several times in the past, but I had a different email address back then! You could still have apologized, but that's how people are!

It was the first time we ate here and we (my husband and daughter) were more than thrilled. We were welcomed very, very nicely even without a reservation. Everyone was very, very friendly. Modern Greek restaurant with plenty of seating and parking. The menu offers a lot, from starters to main courses and dessert. The children's portions are really very generous, which is absolutely great for the price. This Greek appears to be an "upscale" restaurant. There are not the typical and countless "plate dishes" (such as Knosso plates, Kreta plates, etc. in many other restaurants). Rather, dishes with a manageable variety of meat on the plate but of very good and tasty quality and in a wide variety of variations can be found on the menu. The starters are also generous and very tasty. Gladly again.

A great Greek restaurant. A diverse menu offers more than just run-of-the-mill cuisine. Many specialties that you don't find in every Greek restaurant. The braised lamb shank is a poem. The service is very friendly and quick. A clear recommendation!

This meal was to die for! Simply so delicious, we enjoyed sitting there and ordering ourselves again and again. Try out the vegetable stir-fry, the bean soup and much more. We will definitely come more often.

We came to this restaurant spontaneously because of the very good reviews. When we said no to the question of whether we had reserved, the waiter groaned but then assigned us a table. It came across as very unfriendly. After ordering our food, we waited 50 minutes for the food to arrive. I had the lamb variation with beans and baked potato. But there were beans in the tomato broth and 3 potato wedges also in the same broth. For me as a professional it's ok at best but no more. No trace of culinary delight. It was a great shame that our mood was dampened on what was such a special evening for us. I found it very positive that we were offered an espresso after declining the ouzo. That was the highlight. It's a shame we probably won't come back.
