The quality has deteriorated over the years. The owner often seems annoyed and not particularly friendly. It's a shame, as we used to enjoy going there.

Were here today, March 16, 2025, for the first time to eat. Our neighbors invited us. Table reserved (required on weekend). Very friendly welcome, quick service and good food. Price/performance is good. We felt very comfortable. The ambience is modern and yet Greek. Just a stone's throw away from Spandau. We'd love to come back.

Incredibly unfriendly - although many tables were free, it was claimed that SPÖ had nothing left for 5 people. The boss seemed friendly, but was told off by his wife that we couldn't get a table. Arrogant and arrogant! Just don't go there!

Today we had dinner with friends at Karyatis Restaurant and we were thrilled! As soon as you enter you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is familiar and just makes you feel good. The service was warm, attentive and friendly. You can tell that people work here with passion. And the food? Simply great! We all enjoyed it, big and small. The portions were generous and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. If you want to enjoy an evening in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent food and great service, this is the right place for you. We'll definitely be back!

I've been there several times and always look forward to the family atmosphere, the wonderful food and the great ambience. You always feel like you've been transported to Greece.

Everything took a very long time, until we were allowed to order drinks we were ignored for 20 minutes. As an aperitif we had old Prosecco that was no longer carbonated. The food came after over an hour and was carelessly prepared. Reordered drinks were forgotten several times. It's a shame, but you only go there once.

We were very warmly welcomed even though we didn't have a reservation. A place full of smiling guests and staff. Greek atmosphere and incredibly delicious food and wine. The food didn't taste that good on a Greek vacation. We received uzo to start and a tasty mini dessert at the end. It was delicious☺️

Everything actually went well, we sat in the corner for a while and it felt like we had forgotten every now and then.

I've been coming to Karyatis for years, but last week for my birthday it wasn't nice. My friend and I got our beer straight away, but then we were forgotten. The guests who came after us got their ouzo and were allowed to order food. When their food was brought out, I asked if we had been forgotten. The waitress babbled something incomprehensible, when the waiter came, I asked if the welcome ouzo was no longer available. I hope this was a one-time blip. But the food was delicious as always! To your answer: That's not entirely true, I only comment when something goes wrong. I had rated you very positively several times in the past, but I had a different email address back then! You could still have apologized, but that's how people are!

The service was friendly and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Our child had a lot of fun and we were able to enjoy ourselves in peace. We can only recommend the Karyatis restaurant – a wonderful place for families and lovers of Greek cuisine! Thanks :-)

It was the first time we ate here and we (my husband and daughter) were more than thrilled. We were welcomed very, very nicely even without a reservation. Everyone was very, very friendly. Modern Greek restaurant with plenty of seating and parking. The menu offers a lot, from starters to main courses and dessert. The children's portions are really very generous, which is absolutely great for the price. This Greek appears to be an "upscale" restaurant. There are not the typical and countless "plate dishes" (such as Knosso plates, Kreta plates, etc. in many other restaurants). Rather, dishes with a manageable variety of meat on the plate but of very good and tasty quality and in a wide variety of variations can be found on the menu. The starters are also generous and very tasty. Gladly again.

A great Greek restaurant. A diverse menu offers more than just run-of-the-mill cuisine. Many specialties that you don't find in every Greek restaurant. The braised lamb shank is a poem. The service is very friendly and quick. A clear recommendation!

This meal was to die for! Simply so delicious, we enjoyed sitting there and ordering ourselves again and again. Try out the vegetable stir-fry, the bean soup and much more. We will definitely come more often.

We came to this restaurant spontaneously because of the very good reviews. When we said no to the question of whether we had reserved, the waiter groaned but then assigned us a table. It came across as very unfriendly. After ordering our food, we waited 50 minutes for the food to arrive. I had the lamb variation with beans and baked potato. But there were beans in the tomato broth and 3 potato wedges also in the same broth. For me as a professional it's ok at best but no more. No trace of culinary delight. It was a great shame that our mood was dampened on what was such a special evening for us. I found it very positive that we were offered an espresso after declining the ouzo. That was the highlight. It's a shame we probably won't come back.

Was OK. There was so little tzatziki with the gyro that I had to order more. Also a mini portion for 2 euros. I know better Greeks in Falkensee

Family atmosphere - good food and really good service! Again and again!

After a little shopping trip we were a bit hungry, so we quickly looked at what restaurants there were in the area. That's how we ended up here, the food is exceptionally good, friendly, humorous and attentive service. We were lucky to get a seat without a reservation, the restaurant was full when we visited, and the prices are completely reasonable for the quality offered.

The restaurant is very cozy, clean and the employees are polite. The food is well portioned and the prices are moderate. The toilets are also clean and don't smell unpleasant, and I've never seen this before, there are deodorants available there. You could almost think you are on your own toilet. I can only recommend this restaurant!

For the first, but certainly not last, time I visited this Greek restaurant. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is friendly and brightly furnished and offers a beautiful terrace with umbrellas to linger in summer. The order was taken quickly and the drinks were brought to the table quickly. The food and drink menu is well sorted and not overloaded. Prices are reasonable. There is also everything for children or those who are slightly hungry. The chicken stuffed with spinach and feta was ordered. There was a choice of side dish. I chose the fried potatoes. An excellent choice, by the way. Haven't eaten anything like this yet. This calls for a repeat! A crisp green salad was served beforehand. There was nothing to look at there either. The food was to die for and even though I'm not a fan of Greek cuisine, I'm looking forward to next time! Toilets and what you see are all clean and in a well-maintained condition. Afterwards we got a nightcap on the house. This is how lunch is fun. Thank you!

Very friendly staff. We had ordered a table where we wanted to change the time by phone and it was occupied, we were called back and they even apologized for not answering. This is the first time a restaurant has called back. This is called service because we were unknown guests to them. We will always be happy to go there.

Karyatis is a modern Greek restaurant with some classic Greek elements as decoration. The restaurant is run by a Greek family. The food is consistently good, but of course the lamb dishes are the best 😉 There are also enough dishes for vegetarians on the menu, which is traditionally quite extensive. In addition to the Greek semolina pudding and ice cream, there is a dessert menu with very good convenience products. There is a star deduction for the lack of attention when you want to order drinks. Reservations are strongly recommended as the restaurant is almost always full. P.S.: If you live nearby you can also order there.

And another reaction from the owner. Now it says that I took photos of a page that has not been up to date since 2018. This is very strange because this is the website you find on the Internet when you go to Karyatis to find out about the restaurant. How do you know if the website is not up to date? The owner of a restaurant is responsible for keeping his website up to date! The fact is, I found out about Karyatis on this website and was very surprised to see a menu with significantly higher prices in the restaurant. Instead of accusing me of lying, it would have been factually correct to simply point out that the website is not up to date and needs to be revised. The owner's response says that I'm lying. That's not true!!! Attached is a photo from the current website, on which the Mousakas are still shown today on February 2nd, 2024 with a price of €12.90. Therefore there is a price increase from €12.90 to €16.90. The fact is that someone here cannot handle criticism and therefore it is easier to accuse the critic of lying. The Karyatis is actually a great restaurant, but due to the price increases and the parallel reduction in portion size, it can only be recommended to a limited extent. Here are two examples: The dishes for small appetites such as gyros and souvlaki were increased from €8.90 to €11.50 and the moussaka from €12.90 to €16.90. That is 22.61 and 23.67% respectively. The VAT adjustment was from 7% to 19%.

The team is really friendly. There are always smiles and kind words. The ambience is also attractive, bright and cozy. Unfortunately, when the house is full, the volume is quite high and this makes you want to speak louder and louder. So we left relatively quickly after eating. We all enjoyed the food. The portion sizes are completely sufficient. A small mini dessert is always served and there is an ouzo to greet you and say goodbye if you like. We'd love to come by again.
