Restaurant marktbistro in Neuwied

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist einfach der Wahnsinn! Ich habe noch nirgends so eine Auswahl mit extrem hochwertiger Produktqualität erlebt. Ich wundere mich sehr über paar negative Bewertungen hier. Gut, ich mag tatsächlich keine Pancakes, daher vermisse ich sie nicht. Aber es gibt normale Croissants, Schokocroissants und ein sehr lecker aussehender Kuchen stand auch dabei. Eierspeisen kann man auf Wunsch dazu bestellen. Und einfach alles, von Brötchen bis Kaffee schmeckt super gut. Körnerbrot gab's bei uns übrigens auch. Reichlich Auswahl an Aufstrichen, Obst, Joghurt etc. Das einzige, was mir fehlt, sind größere Wassergläser, Wasser mit Kohlensäure und Beschriftungen an den Produkten. Und der Service könnte beim Abräumen ein wenig mehr hinterher sein. Aber für 20 Euro inkl Getränken, lauter Markenprodukten, sehr frischen Brötchen waren wir seehr zufrieden! 😊 Auch das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Parken kann man als Besucher wenige Meter entfernt kostenlos am Food Hotel.

Very good breakfast with a lot of choice and drinks, nice service staff

The best breakfast in town - at least that's what they advertise. Unfortunately I can't share that. I think 19.99 euros for a breakfast that offers everything is okay in principle, but unfortunately our expectations were not met. The selection of hot dishes is limited to eggs, sausages, grilled tomatoes and grilled vegetables that were not refilled. Sausage and cheese variations are manageable and do not offer any special requirements. There is no kitchen service for, for example, omelettes or pancakes. Fish is only offered as salmon in slices.... You can make your own fresh orange juice and the selection of fruit is more classic. The ambience isn't great either and there is no whole grain bread or rolls. You can have a good breakfast here but if it is praised as being special it must be due to the local competition and not because it is special. I think the price is excessive for the performance offered.

Very friendly, attentive staff. BUT, with such highly praised descriptions of the buffets: sumptuous, savory and sweet, plentiful, fresh, regional ingredients. We expect more selection, more variety, and above all, more regionality, and especially that the desserts don't look and taste as much like artificial coloring as they did. The only sweet thing at breakfast was the tiny pre-baked chocolate rolls, four jams, honey, and Nutella. No waffles, no pancakes, or anything like that. The only sweet thing at the lunchtime brunch was the desserts, which weren't exactly convincing. The fruit and vegetables, apart from the asparagus and potatoes, were hardly regional. In April: raspberries, pineapple, melon, strawberries, cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, peas...

Very nice service and very tasty food!

We went to the market bistro for brunch and thought it was great! Friendly and cheerful waitresses, extensive selection at breakfast and at the hot buffet and everything was very tasty! We found it pleasant that there was no “train station backdrop” in the room like in other locations of this size. You could have a conversation at a normal volume without “yelling” at each other. Everything was very clean and seemed well organized. The only downside was the high temperature in the room, as it faces the sunny side. Otherwise everything was great and a clear recommendation!

Went for the themed buffet again on Friday evening...as always, everything was fresh and delicious. The friendly and attentive service added to the fun. It's just a shame that the bar was closed this time too due to an event. But we'll be happy to come back...
