Asked us three times if we wanted onions. Guess what's missing? Onions at best. 0 stars. First time and never again. No card payments. The fish sandwich has no toppings. The fillet is puny. SAD FISH SANDWICH.

Fish Snack Bar The fried fish was dripping with grease, the potato salad was of poor quality – and it was served "fresh" onto the plate straight from a 50kg bucket on the counter. Okay, it's just a snack bar, but that's not acceptable! The cutlery was dirty and, all in all, truly "disgusting"! The prices on the online menu don't seem to have been updated in years! In my opinion, this "snack bar" has nothing to do with "Weller"!!! Never again to this snack bar unless the management changes!

We ate there yesterday. Fried fish with fries and dip. The waitress came in reluctantly from outside, as we had most likely disturbed her. Well, we ordered anyway. The cutlery was greasy on a serving tray. The entire counter and kitchen didn't look any better. The fried fish was submerged in a container that hadn't seen a rag in a very long time. The food arrived. I had no idea you could kill a fish three times. And it tasted just like that. My wife and I told the waitress that the food was inedible. The response was a bit cheeky. She could tell from the looks on our faces that we weren't satisfied. They should scrub the place instead of sitting outside and chatting. I'm about to contact the health department. I will definitely do so. There's no question of hygiene or cleanliness here. An unacceptable situation. Of course, we didn't pay anything for the mess. That would have been even better!!!

The snack bar only has short opening hours anyway, but before the official closing time, everything was already cleared away and nothing was available to order. If you want to be open until a certain time, you should offer service until then. And it happened twice in a row. That's neither customer-friendly nor professional. It's a shame – I'll probably look for another place in the future, even though the fish is delicious.

I had the fried fish today, and it was really delicious. A robustly seasoned breading and very tender, boneless fish. The service was very friendly, and we could choose whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. I'll definitely be back.

Tue-Sun: 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - CAUTION: Please do not confuse these opening hours with the upscale restaurant across the street. The restaurant is closed on Sundays. Nordlicht Snack Bar has a BBQ grill on Sundays. PARKING Free parking in front of the door directly by the Weller fish and fishing pond (where you can fish for €25). Across the street is the upscale restaurant "la Mer." THE FRIED FISH The fried fish is freshly breaded and fried right before your very eyes. It is very large (a whole fillet). Yes, it's real fish, and it can have bones, of course. You can choose between a roll (€9) or homemade potato salad (€12) or fries (€12). Plus a delicious, homemade remoulade and fresh lemons on top. The plates are color-coordinated in turquoise. Fried fish made from hake (not the usual pollock). Since everything is fresh, some items may be sold out. DRINKS: Are available for €2.80 in 0.33 l glass bottles in the self-service refrigerator. The service is extremely polite and friendly. BBQ GRILL: There's a large grill in the square in front of the snack container, which is fired up on Saturdays and Sundays. For example, for shashlik skewers (see photos). Restrooms: Restrooms with sinks, separate for men and women, are located in a container to the left of the snack container. The clientele is mainly older people. As well as people who come during their lunch break. It's an idyllic place. They also serve regular snacks (schnitzel, etc.).

Matjesbrötchen €3.50, one matjes, a round, dry roll, and five onion rings. A joke for the price. That was the worst fish sandwich I've ever had, and I've had many.

It would be nice if they updated the opening hours and menu. We drove there for nothing, and other guests came and left shaking their heads. Besides, the opening hours aren't even posted at the snack bar. So, that's fine.

The best burger in Neuwied and the surrounding area. Price-performance is really grade 1+. The burger is 100% fresh and not frozen food.

Unfortunately, neither the opening times nor the prices match the information on the internet. A fried fish with potato salad now costs €13.50 instead of €8.90. A price increase of over 50% should definitely be stated. The opening times have been extended. It is now open until 6 p.m. There's nothing wrong with the food. Both the fried fish and the potato salad were fresh and very tasty. The service was friendly and the waiting time was short - as you would expect from a snack bar. All in all, I would happily recommend the “Nordic Lights”.

So far I've only tried the hamburger and fries and they were delicious!

Sehr leckere Menue Karte mit sehr leckeren Essen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen empfehlen

Wenn man leckeren Backfisch oder Kippeling mag, ist das eine Topadresse. Frisch zubereitet mit vorbildlichen Pommes ein Genuss. Empfehlenswert ist auch die hausgemachte Soße.

Fisch ok, nix besonderes. Pommes labbrig und fast kalt, geht nicht Freunde. Knobi sauce ok. Wartezeit eine Zumutung (20 Minuten, es ist ein Imbiss). Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben für 8 Euro.

Sehr teuer allein alle Getränke zusammen für 3 Personen (5×cola) 12€ aber es bietet eine gute pausenmögluchkeit nach dem angeln

Der Backfisch war wie "immer" suuuper lecker!!! Die beiden jungen Leute sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend😊

Der Imbiss bietet auch Plätze zum Draußensitzen, wo man sogar am Platz bedient wird. Das dauert aber für einen Imbiss etwas lang. Dafür schmeckt es sehr gut. Keine Kartenzahlung möglich!

War mit dem Ebike unterwegs, habe hier ein gepflegtes alkoholfreies Weizenbier getrunken und abgewartet bis der Regen vorbei war.

Habe diesen Imbiss erst heute entdeckt und muss sagen dass ich sehr begeistert bin! Super leckeres Essen und vor allem auch eine Mega freundliche Bedienung! Ich komme bestimmt wieder!

Currywurst mit Pommes: Sehr lecker, auch das Pommesgewürz. Und große Portion dazu!

Super leckeres Essen! Hier erwartet einen KEIN Schnitzel aus der Tiefkühltruhe oder fertige Salate ! Die meisten Speisen sind Hausgemacht und aus frischen Zutaten. Die Preise sind sehr Fair und die Portionen sind gewaltig, hier bleibt niemand hungrig. Super XXL Hamburger oder Schnitzel !

Wir hatten nun schon den Backfisch und die Cheeseburger + Pommes. Beides war SUPER lecker. Der Fisch ist saftig und die Panade super knusprig. Die Portionen sind REICHLICH, selbst für gute Esser. Die Burger gestern waren ebenfalls total lecker, das Patty ist frisch und kein TK Patty. Die Burger Buns sind ebenfalls sehr lecker und keine 0815-Buns. Können wir jedem nur empfehlen!

Lang jähriger Kunde und immer zufrieden ,seit Neuen gibt es Burger war sehr überrascht wie gut es ist kann man nur weiter empfehlen

Sehr leckeres Essen. Wir hatten Backfischbrötchen, Kibbeling, Calamaris und Pommes. Der Fisch war frisch und sehr saftig. Die Panade war knusprig wie sie sein sollte. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.

Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an sehr wohl und es ist ein gemütlicher Ort zum Wohlfühlen und sehr freundlich. Das Essen wird mit sehr viel liebe zubereitet und war einfach Hammer lecker und das sage ich nicht bei jedem. Noch nie so einen leckeren Backfisch gegessen. Sehr guter Imbiss Toller Backfisch hausgemacht, ebenso toller hausgemachter Kartoffelsalat. Aber der Grillteller! Bombe Erstens eine Männerportion und Super lecker. Ich empfehle den Salat als Beilage der auch frisch und sehr schmackhaft war. Mit Pommes hätte ich es glaube ich nicht geschafft alles zu essen.

Dort wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an sehr wohl und es ist alles sehr herzlich bis ins kleinste Detail. Ein gemütlicher Ort zum Wohlfühlen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen wird mit sehr viel liebe zubereitet und war einfach spitzenmäßig. Wer Fisch und Meeresfrüchte mag, wird hier auf Imbiss Basis überdurchschnittlich versorgt. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Preise extrem fair und das Ambiente einigermaßen gemütlich.
