The appetizers are especially delicious. Everything is homemade, no ready-made salad dressings. The plates are incredibly full.

Very good food with friendly and prompt service despite the pre-Christmas rush.

The restaurant was very busy and therefore quite noisy. The service was very attentive. The starter salad was unnecessary. The salmon with eggplant and zucchini was very oily. The meatballs tasted good but were grilled far too lightly. The gyros tasted good. I don't understand why tzatziki isn't included with the mixed grill and has to be ordered separately for an extra charge. All in all, though, it's worth a visit.

Always worth a visit. It can be a bit hectic at times, but the food is always very good. I've never had anything there that I didn't like.

Unfortunately, the Greek restaurant in Anklam is getting worse and worse; the quality of the food is completely gone. I have the feeling it's getting saltier and saltier, which raises the question: "What's the purpose or cover-up?" It's been like this for a while. Several times, my colleagues and I have felt sick after eating tzatziki. The main course arrives almost at the same time as the appetizers. That can only work if everything is prepared and then just warmed up. The fact is, it feels like a mass-processed meal with bad food. The only thing that still tastes good after so many years is the appetizer salad. Unfortunately, after all these years, we won't be visiting the restaurant again until something changes. The staff, however, has always been friendly.

We hadn't ordered, but since there were plenty of seats available, getting a table wasn't a problem. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff were friendly, and the food was truly delicious. The appetizers and main course were truly delicious. There were no long waits for our orders. Highly recommended.

The food is truly delicious. You might want to make a reservation in advance, though; we were there on a Thursday lunchtime/afternoon, and it was quite busy.

Wow. A full 5 stars, actually I should give it six. I have no complaints. Others have already written about the salad, aperitif, nightcap, the great team, the attentive but unobtrusive service, and the wonderful ambiance. I am truly very, very satisfied.

It used to be very tasty. Over time, it's deteriorated considerably. The rice no longer tastes like tomato rice. The only tasty thing is the salad.

We came from far away. Unfortunately, it was closed...and the website wasn't updated. We were there for nothing, what a pity!

We purposely arrived on our bikes at 8:00 PM to grab dinner, relying on Google's listing that they were open until midnight. It was closed. They're misleading customers!

Hello, the bad review is due to the fact that we had to drive to the restaurant to find out that they're on summer vacation until September. No information is posted online. Not on the website or anywhere else. Very sad, especially given today's gas prices. Unfortunately, we won't experience this restaurant again. Very disappointing!

The restaurant should be called "Sidewalk." Long wait times when the place is full. 1.5 hours is almost boringly long after a long day at work. The food was okay. Mixed plate with cold and bitter liver and tough lamb. The appetizer plate, however, was phenomenal, as were the rest of the meat cuts. There are simply not enough people working there. One more person in the kitchen and in the restaurant and the place could handle a full house. So, unfortunately, everyone is overwhelmed.

The food was the best I've had in a long time!!! A truly excellent chef!!! Unfortunately, we were seated in the back of the restaurant, which often made us feel forgotten. Next time, we'll sit closer to the front. A reservation was necessary. However, the servers were extremely friendly when they were at the table.

I'm thrilled. I've eaten there twice now, and it's incredibly delicious. The salad is a flavor explosion in the mouth, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. There are toys for children, and the changing area is perfect for soothing babies. Thank you.

If you want Greek food, one of the best places.

Prompt service. Salad is served before the Athenian platter. Ouzo is also free beforehand. The salad is pleasantly generous, even with a piece of feta and a delicious dressing. The Athenian platter is generous, and the meat is surprisingly good quality. With a large shandy, it's €25.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

It is the highest rated restaurant in Anklam but to be fair, there is not much in Anklam.... therefore it is probably your best option if you are in the area. The restaurant has the normal kitsch decor of greek pillars and statues. The food is average, a mix of Greek and German. Meat is mostly pork. Service is rapid. If in a bind, it is a good option but nothing to write home about. It is also cash only ... in this day and age... makes you wonder

We ate there last night as a couple. Two dishes with two wines each for €75. The service was friendly. The food was OK, although the meat was too salty. Overall, the restaurant is too big and too noisy. The windowless back room, in particular, has the feel of a large cafeteria...

Too narrow and too crowded. Waiters walk through the restaurant, you can't sit and enjoy because the waiters sometimes bump into each other. And they tend to be unfriendly with strangers. Tried often, most recently in April. Less quantity but more quality. And definitely more space between the tables.

Classic Greek with super good staff, Greece is lived here. Food is excellent! The furnishings are as you would expect. We always enjoy being here for family celebrations 🤩

As always, quick service and good food

We were eating there with a larger group. A long table was set, So when you had to do it for little boys it was a bit stupid, everyone get up, sit down again and go back and do the same thing again. Food was good, service was on point. Otherwise everything went smoothly. Not so suitable for larger groups. We can recommend it 👍🏻

I would strongly recommend this restaurant. We were there without a reservation, but they still looked for a place for us and found it. The food and service was great.

Stopped here shortly before going to the concert and wasn't disappointed. Yes, I personally didn't like the atmosphere (but as we all know, tastes differ), but we were very satisfied with the food and service. The restaurant is also easy to reach and there is (unfortunately) paid parking at the back.

Was here for the first time on the recommendation of my cousin and it was just super pleasant and beautiful. Food TOP, service TOP. All waiters are attentive and courteous. When I visit again from Berlin, I will be with you again. Keep it up.

Attentive service, no long waiting times between courses, appropriate portions and it tastes good. Price/performance ratio appropriate. Overall, the expectations of a pleasant evening with Greek cuisine were met.

The food is very tasty, the service is very good, the staff is very nice and takes care of their guests. The toilets are simple but clean. The price is a bit higher, but I think it's definitely justified for the food. I deducted a star for the ambience because the restaurant itself is a bit cramped.

You die of thirst. Criticism of the food is not permitted, at least it is downplayed and only accepted with grumbling. Several foods are very heavily salted. Great salad before the main meal. Very large portions

The food was delicious and plentiful. The bread with the salad is fresh and crispy. The service good.

The music is very loud. You get your food very quickly, but once everything has been cleared away, we as guests always have the feeling that we can now free the table for others. If you wanted something else, we had to order from different people several times on our last visit until it was finally served. We now feel that the prices are too high. The price-performance ratio no longer fits. It's a shame, it used to be better.

Unfortunately, the meat wasn't cooked properly, the conditions seemed to be too much, the language barrier was large, card payment with Mastercard or Visa was surprisingly not possible, there was no notice of this in the entrance area.

Never had baked sheep's cheese that was so spicy, it should have been on the menu, grandchild cried. The food also lacked seasoning, which isn't usually a problem with Greeks. Service was very nice and atmosphere too.

Marathon is a Greek restaurant where I always feel very comfortable. The food is extremely good. The service is very attentive and occasionally jokes with the guests. That loosens everything up a lot. Different needs are always taken into account. That's how it should be. I can only give it 5 stars because it is really exceptionally good. There is an Ouzo beforehand and a Julischka after the meal. There is nothing more to expect. I feel completely comfortable there.

Top service, large portion, actually the best address. We picked up our food. Unfortunately, I have to say, gyros, souvlaki, chicken, it's all over seasoned. You don't taste the good meat, just the seasoning. You can feel the Hecktig in the restaurant. In my city I know things differently with Greeks, which is a shame.

All in all a great restaurant. The food is a culinary delight. Absolutely delicious and something for everyone. Even good eaters will be full because the portions are not small. I don't know of any Greek restaurant that comes close to this one.

Nice atmosphere with the possibility of sitting outside. Very attentive service staff...courteous, friendly and on point. What I don't understand is that when there is a choice between large and small drinks, the large one is automatically served without even asking. I didn't think that was so good. But it is now common practice in several restaurants. Food was good and prepared very quickly. There are plenty of parking spaces right next door. Price-performance ratio is really good. We would go there again if we have work to do in the corner.
