We were there spontaneously and with four people. Despite the full dining room, we were shown to a table by the very friendly staff. The food came very quickly and was really tasty. 👍👍

You die of thirst. Criticism of the food is not permitted, at least it is downplayed and only accepted with grumbling. Several foods are very heavily salted. Great salad before the main meal. Very large portions

The food was delicious and plentiful. The bread with the salad is fresh and crispy. The service good.

The music is very loud. You get your food very quickly, but once everything has been cleared away, we as guests always have the feeling that we can now free the table for others. If you wanted something else, we had to order from different people several times on our last visit until it was finally served. We now feel that the prices are too high. The price-performance ratio no longer fits. It's a shame, it used to be better.

Very good Greek, no problem even with a small dog. Food came quickly and was plentiful. Gladly again!

Get a nice spot without a reservation or a walker. Great gyro plate at a reasonable price.

We came there spontaneously and without a reservation and even though the restaurant was really full, a table was quickly made available to us. The service is really great and the food is very tasty. This was definitely not our last visit to Anklam in the “Marathon”

Unfortunately, the meat wasn't cooked properly, the conditions seemed to be too much, the language barrier was large, card payment with Mastercard or Visa was surprisingly not possible, there was no notice of this in the entrance area.

Never had baked sheep's cheese that was so spicy, it should have been on the menu, grandchild cried. The food also lacked seasoning, which isn't usually a problem with Greeks. Service was very nice and atmosphere too.

Marathon is a Greek restaurant where I always feel very comfortable. The food is extremely good. The service is very attentive and occasionally jokes with the guests. That loosens everything up a lot. Different needs are always taken into account. That's how it should be. I can only give it 5 stars because it is really exceptionally good. There is an Ouzo beforehand and a Julischka after the meal. There is nothing more to expect. I feel completely comfortable there.

Top service, large portion, actually the best address. We picked up our food. Unfortunately, I have to say, gyros, souvlaki, chicken, it's all over seasoned. You don't taste the good meat, just the seasoning. You can feel the Hecktig in the restaurant. In my city I know things differently with Greeks, which is a shame.

All in all a great restaurant. The food is a culinary delight. Absolutely delicious and something for everyone. Even good eaters will be full because the portions are not small. I don't know of any Greek restaurant that comes close to this one.

Nice atmosphere with the possibility of sitting outside. Very attentive service staff...courteous, friendly and on point. What I don't understand is that when there is a choice between large and small drinks, the large one is automatically served without even asking. I didn't think that was so good. But it is now common practice in several restaurants. Food was good and prepared very quickly. There are plenty of parking spaces right next door. Price-performance ratio is really good. We would go there again if we have work to do in the corner.

This restaurant is simply great. Not only is there very, very tasty food here, with the drinks to go with it, we feel so warmly welcomed here every time we visit, as if we were part of the family... the owners love what they do... you can feel this We love the atmosphere and the fresh and delicious food... we especially liked the great starters... if you're visiting Anklam, you should stop by here... but it's best to reserve in advance, then you'll be sure of a place 😉.. . the terrace is also open in summer...

One of the few restaurants in the city that are open late. Very well attended. Very friendly staff. There are sufficient parking spaces available next to the restaurant. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the noise in the restaurant because it was busy. But that again speaks for the popularity of the marathon. By the way, the prices are quite cheap.

We actually wanted to eat at the steakhouse in Anklam because we had already been to the bowling alley for training. They said at 8 p.m. we can still have a drink there. But since we were hungry, we looked at our cell phones. You have to like Greek. We have both had bad experiences with Greek restaurants. We thought it couldn't get any worse. My impression quickly became clear that this Greek restaurant could be excellent. The service staff welcomed us very nicely as it was a bit dark and I couldn't read the menu properly. The waiter didn't even ask us and put a table lamp there. After ordering we went for a smoke and back at the table there were 2 ouzo drinks and a salad plate. The salad with the delicious dressing and bread was very good. Since my good friend had to drive, I got his ouzo. But I don't take the reviews into account because I don't tolerate a lot of spirits. The ouzo almost took my shoes off. 😅 Then the food came. It was a huge piece of meat filled with feta cheese. If you like meat and feta you will love the food. Absolute madness. The meat is very juicy and tasty. I have rarely eaten so well. Big praise again to the service staff and the chefs. 2 meals each with a drink of salad + ouzo €43.60 It couldn't be better. I've eaten in worse restaurants for a lot more money. I'm sure I'll be happy to eat here again. And not just after training or a competition.

The food is delicious. But the service was bad. Drink orders were regularly forgotten or took more than 20-30 minutes.

Bedienung (Chefin) sehr nett. Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich. Relativ kurze Wartezeit. Da dieses Restaurant sehr gut besucht wird, sollte man immer vor dem Besuch Plätze reservieren. Update 01/2024: wir waren wieder hier und es hat gepasst. Die Portionen sind reichhaltig.

Leute, fahrt hier her zum Essen. Leckeres griechisches Essen gibt es wohl kaum. Wir sind von Ückermünde nach Anklam gefahren und es war es wert.

Moc pěkné místo, naprosto nás zaskočilo jak výborná restaurace to je. Salát hodnotím 10/10. Gyros s česnekem výborný a porce obrovské. Velmi mile drzá obsluha :)

Bestes griechisches Restaurant zwischen Pasewalk und Bremen. Ein wirklich tolles Ambiente und tolles Personal, gekrönt mit dem besten Essen. Sehr gut frequentiert. Nur mit Reservierung möglich. Abwechslungsreich, schmackhaft ohne Ende. Hier ist der Kunde noch König. Weiter so. Komme wieder.

Nette freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Man fühlt sich immer gut aufgehoben. Essen schmeckt super. Ich bin gerne dort.

Kurzentschlossen haben wir auch ohne Vorbestellung einen Tisch bekommen, das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam so schnell wie wir es noch nie erlebt haben, und es war sehr lecker und die Portionen ausreichen, für das was nicht geschafft wurde gab es anstandslos Einwegverpackungen zum Mitnehmen. Alles in allem Top, wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind wissen wir wo wir essen gehen. 👍

Ja ich würde gerne 8 Sterne geben weil Freunde uns das Lokal sehr empfohlen haben aber geht nicht weil zum Zeitpunkt unseres Urlaubs auch das Restaurant Urlaub hatte aber die Betreiber es nicht für nötig gehalten haben es auch zu veröffentlichen. Obwohl man ein paar Wochen vorher die Öffnungszeiten bestätigt hatte.. Kann auch sein das Gäste nicht so wichtig sind.

Wir fühlten uns als Gäste herzlich willkommen, obwohl es sehr voll war. Ein äußerst aufmerksames und zuvorkommend freundliches Team. Danke für die gemütliche Zeit.
