Yes, don't reserve via Quandoo. The owner of the restaurant does not receive any notification of your reservation and sends you home because he no longer has a table available.

All in all a really great evening, the food was very nicely prepared, drinks too! The dessert was my highlight (black rice) really great! Great atmosphere with the facility. And now a bit of nice criticism (my own opinion) :) I would prefer quieter, slower music, maybe even something Vietnamese. The duck fillet was a bit tough. The salad could also be a bit more Vietnamese, it was just iceberg etc.

Nom nom nom! Edit : Downgrade because the location got worse over time. First, you need to wait a long time until the waitress takes your order. Then the food is sadly not that tasty anymore. Also, recently loud autotune music is playing in the background, which is freakin tedious and taking away from the former Asian athmosphere.

We tried to eat here twice. Each time we waited at least 30 minutes for service, to no avail - the waiters ignored us the entire time, even when we tried to make eye contact. The restaurant wasn't even half full... The place itself is really nice and cozy but unfortunately not recommended because you can't order anything!

Tried to go here twice. The first time, we waited for about 20 minutes during dinner. No one came to get drink orders after we sat down or even acknowledged we were there. We ended up leaving. Second time, we went during lunch. We thought maybe the first time was just unlucky. Again, we were sat and waited about 20 minutes and still no one came by to get drink orders. I don't mind waiting if I have a drink to sip on, but I'm not going to sit for half an hour and twiddle my thumbs so that I can pay you for food. Needless to say, I have no idea how the food is because I'm not waiting that long just to get drinks.

Very tasty, fresh and healthy. Unfortunately prices have increased. 26 euros for a single person is a lot.

I was very enthusiastic about the food here for several years. But now I can no longer understand the price/performance ratio for some dishes. Especially the appetizer plate is in no way appropriate. Too bad.

Nachdem meine Frau schon mit Freundinnen das Lokal besucht hatte und davon angetan sind wir diesmal zu zweit hingegangen. Die Atmosphäre im Haus hat mir gut gefallen. Das Essen war dann noch besser. Ich selbst habe eine Spezialität des Hauses mit Ente gegessen.

Really great Vietnamese restaurant! Beautifully designed and you feel very comfortable. The kitchen has some traditional dishes but of course also the classics like fried noodles with duck! And it's a dream! Of course with a delicious crust, nice and crunchy but with good meat! There were also both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Highly recommended in Lindenau!

Mami is my go to Vietnamese in the west of Leipzig. I almost always order here for delivery or pickup. In my opinion, the food stands out from the run-of-the-mill Vietnamese food and we have never been disappointed in terms of taste.

There were five of us. We waited over 45 minutes for the food and when we asked, the reason given was “You can see what’s going on here”. In our room, all the seats except ours were either empty or finished eating. The better choice is to simply tell the customer when ordering that it will take longer so that expectations can be adjusted accordingly. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was only mediocre, one was super sweet, the other was more neutral and not excitingly Asian, the sauces felt thickened. We gave the feedback directly to the service staff when she asked whether it was tasty, but there was no response. The cutlery provided wasn't enough for 5, we also had to mention it because it wasn't seen. Two starters were ordered and one was delivered. Forgotten or ignored when ordering. The table was only half cleared, no question was asked as to whether we had another wish or wanted the bill. We had to go back to the front and let you know. The toilet: one of the 4 or 5 women's toilets had toilet paper, all the others were empty, so I asked another guest if he could pass paper over from the men's toilet. All in all, not a good experience.

Absolute recommendation!! This evening we decided to cook at short notice and stopped by Mama Viet. A decision that we definitely did not regret. We chose the surprise menu for two and got our money's worth: From the soup and salmon salad as a starter to the noodles with duck, beef rice and vegetables as the main course, to the mango cream and the filled mochi as dessert, every meal was perfectly coordinated! Food at star chef level. The atmosphere inside was very cozy and relaxed, the service was very courteous and always there at the right time. This definitely wasn't our last visit!

Food and drinks are delicious. The selection of vegetarian dishes could be larger. There are hardly any vegan dishes. Attention, even if no animal products are labeled, it's better to ask! A bit expensive for the area. Service is friendly, but sometimes takes a little longer.

The food is really tasty. Some of the best Vietnamese food I have eaten in Germany/Leipzig.

To recommend! We like to go to this restaurant with the whole family. There are great homemade lemonades and lots of different dishes to choose from. The prices have increased slightly over time, but the price-performance ratio is definitely right here. So far we have always been satisfied and full ;) P.s.: Also recommended with children!

Anyone who knows (Southeast) Asian cuisine sees room for improvement here. The vegetables from the wog were obviously blanched throughout and were anything but fresh and crisp. Overall: Okay, but there are better alternatives.

Mommy Viet Had very tasty food delivered during the pandemic, the food is high quality. Visually appealing, it's worth it with the portions. Children pay half. You pay for the atmosphere and look, it's worth it and you feel like you're on vacation. Guys we love you!!! Finally a good family restaurant!!!LG Julia

Very good food in a cozy atmosphere. The conditions were good, so it sometimes took a while. But it was offset by the very friendly manner and the good food.

We spontaneously went to Mami Viet's for the first time today and were positively blown away. Both the drinks and the food were very, very tasty and we will definitely be back soon. In addition, the ambience is very nice and the service is very nice.

Wir waren spontan im Restaurant da wir im Hotel übernachtet haben. Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön und der Service sehr nett. Das essen war super lecker! Meine Freundin hatte die Udon Nudeln und ich den Reis mit Hähnchenspießen. Der Erdnussdip war göttlich. Fleisch war sehr zart und schön kross. Es gab auch vegane Speisen und der Preis war völlig in Ordnung - wir hatten mit mehr gerechnet. Sehr lecker und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

The food was very well and the prices are medium for these quality. The first vine which we tried was not the best choice so we switched to Chardonnay and honestly we waited long for our drinks but the food arrived quicker 👌

I personally love Vietnamese food and the decor is super nice. Warm but at the same time with very clear shapes. The dishes are very nicely prepared. The service was super nice and you could have a pleasant conversation despite the fact that there were a lot of guests there. Perfect and easy to reach with tram 7. That was def. not the last visit :)

Solid Vietnamese restaurant with a calm and soothing atmosphere. I had the Pho, which in Vietnamese cuisine is a measure of the quality of the establishment. The Pho was very good, especially the ratio of broth to noodles to vegetables was perfectly balanced. Otherwise exactly what you would expect. I would recommend the visit 👌

We spontaneously went to the restaurant because we were staying at the hotel. The ambience is really nice and the service is very nice. The food was super delicious! My girlfriend had the udon noodles and I had the rice with chicken skewers. The peanut dip was divine. Meat was very tender and nice and crispy. There were also vegan options and the price was completely reasonable - we expected more. Very tasty and definitely recommended.

The food was very, very tasty. Fresh and beautifully prepared. We had three vegetarian dishes (Udon Xao, Seitan Curry and Mango Tofu) and all were very good. I also liked the decoration with the plants and the wood. We were greeted friendly. But we had to wait a long time for the food, then forever for dessert and at some point we got up and went to the checkout ourselves to pay. There was probably a lot going on.

Very nice restaurant with delicious dishes. Luckily we had reserved, otherwise the four of us probably wouldn't have had a chance. The staff was extremely friendly, but a bit overwhelmed due to the workload. Almost 1.5 hours of waiting time for food is pretty tough. All in all, a nice evening...

The food was absolutely great. The service was overwhelming and the kitchen took a long time to arrive. The individual meals did not come at the same time in the group of 8 people. Sometimes 20 minutes later… better organization in the kitchen and we'll be back.

When I entered the restaurant there was a pleasant atmosphere. Everything about the interior design is coordinated in terms of color and theme and makes you feel comfortable. The fairy lights provide a dimmed light, which further supports this. The waiting times were pleasant, so you didn't have to wait what felt like hours as was often the case. The food was super tasty and beautifully presented. The drinks were also very tasty.

Took over 45 minutes to get our food!! When we informed them that we have trains to catch, they just nodded their heads. Gave us take away without cutlery. The restaurant was basically empty and we still got terrible service and subpar food. Do NOT eat here

The Waiter guy with glasses is really nice and the food is really good too. I just came to this country like a few months ago but i can make sure that this Restaurant has the best Vietnamese food in this city. I can also recommend you to try the Curry with fried duck and the Ginger Lemon drinks.

The food delivered was very salty and unfortunately not edible. Neither the soup nor the curry and the mommy salad. Lots of onions and lots of glutamate. What a shame!

Das Restaurant ist wunderschön. Das Essen leider nicht. Ich habe zwei Gerichte ausprobiert und war von beiden enttäuscht. Ich liebe asiatische Küche und gehe oft in verschiedene asiatische Restaurants and dieses ist soweit das Schlimmste. Ich vermute das war Einzelfall, weil die Bewertungen sehr gut sind, aber ein zweites Mal gehe ich nicht hin. Es gibt genug andere Restaurants, die ständig begeistern.

Ich war mit Freundinnen dort abends unter der Woche essen, demnach war nicht super viel los, wir waren aber auch weitaus nicht die einzigen. Das Essen war sehr lecker & auch an den Portionsgrößen war nichts auszusetzen. Der Service hingegen war leider etwas enttäuschend. Nach der Vorspeise dauerte das Hautgericht recht lange & wir haben es nicht gleichzeitig bekommen, was schade ist, wenn man gemeinsam auswärts essen geht. Noch mangelhafter war der Service während des Essens, denn wir wurden nur ein einziges Mal nach Getränken gefragt, danach nicht noch einmal. Es kam auch kein Personal noch mal in die Nähe unseres Tisches, sodass wir auf uns hätten aufmerksam machen können. Es blieb dann bei einem Getränk pro Person & ein Dessert gab es auch nicht mehr, weil wir schlichtweg nicht weiter bedient worden sind. Zum Bezahlen haben wir uns dann an die Thke begeben, schließlich kam niemand & fragte, ob wir noch was möchten oder die Rechnung haben wollen.

Freundliches vietnamesisches Personal , gute asiatische Küche

Heute hatte ich das Vergnügen hier essen zu gehen. Das Essen war super lecker, die Nachspeise (Green Banana) ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber man kann es essen. Die 9 (Vorsuppe) und auch die 23c (Hähnchen mit Reis und Mangosoße) waren sehr lecker. Das Personal ist auch freundlich. Einen Stern ziehe ich dennoch ab, da es fast eine halbe Stunde dauerte bis erst mal die Getränke an den Tisch kamen, obwohl augenscheinlich wenig los war.

Wir waren gestern das erste mal hier essen und positiv überrascht. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön. Die selbstgemachten Limonaden sehr lecker und das Essen ist wahnsinnig lecker. Wir hatten verschiedene Speisen, Rind, Ente, Huhn, Garnelen und Saitan. Alle waren mehr als zufrieden mit Ihrem Essen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Leckeres Essen, grade auch die Veganer Varianten schmecken vortrefflich! Einen Besuch ist es allemal wert. Es gibt auch einen angenehmen ruhigen Hinterhof. Parkplätze sind ebenfalls zur Genüge vorhanden

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und der Service sehr freundlich. Das Essen war mega lecker. Einzig die Wartezeit würde ich theoretisch bemängeln, aber da wir Zeit hatten, war es nicht so schlimm. Ich würde das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und gerne auch wiederkommen.

Alter - wenn du Vietnamesisch essen möchtest - in Leipzig - dann geht ins 'Mami Viet' - es war köstlich und der Rest - völlig okay.... Bedienung flott und freundlich - Preise völlig okay - Essen hervorragend... schmackhaft und außer gewöhnlich.... rundum zufrieden und das bin ich eher selten.... ich suche das 'Haar in der Suppe' bildlich gesehen..... aber hier Fehlanzeige .... Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit einer tollen Atmosphäre. Die Bedingung ist stets aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und dazu sehr freundlich. Das Essen war von Vorspeise über Hauptgang bis zum Dessert absolut nur zu empfehlen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder! Absolut empfehlenswert !

Freundliches Personal und das Essen ist absolut großartig! Sehr frisch zubereitet, gut gewürzt, Teller hübsch arrangiert, Preis mehr als gerecht und für die Qualität richtig günstig: wir haben zur dritt gegessen, mit Vorspeise und Getränke für 65€.... Das gibt es fast nicht! Wir können es nur empfehlen!

Das Essen war superlecker, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top, der Service sehr freundlich. Wenn es für etwas Abzüge gibt, dann dafür, dass die Getränke etwas schneller hätten kommen können und dass die Musik, obwohl ich Bruno Mars mag, etwas leiser hätte sein können ;)

Lange auf Bedienung gewartet. Tische sind im Gegensatz zu den Stühlen viel zu hoch. Das ist negativ für die Verweil Dauer. Gut ist das Preis Leistung Verhältnis.

Sehr gute, authentische vietnamesische Küche. Ich war sehr überrascht, dass es dort so gutes Essen gibt. Ist noch ein Geheimtipp und war auch noch nicht zu voll. Draußen sitzend, an der Straße war es recht laut aber bei der Küche nehme ich das gern in Kauf.
