I've been coming to Quan Xua for years. The food is of good quality, the prices are fair, and the wait is never long. I would also rate the sushi as good. Plus, the staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. What more could you want?

"If Zen were a restaurant..." ...then probably Quan Xua. Anyone expecting hectic restaurant noise, overly ambitious decor, or intrusive service will be mercilessly disappointed. And that's a wonderful thing. Instead: a relaxed atmosphere, attentive service without constantly asking about your inner rice level, and—here's the kicker—really good food. The spring rolls? Crispy on the outside like my January 3rd resolutions, fresh, hot, and spicy on the inside—in short, perfect. The sushi? So finely and lovingly rolled that I briefly wondered whether I was actually allowed to eat it or whether it belonged in a museum. (Spoiler alert: I ate it. No regrets.) Sitting outside is a little highlight—it feels a bit like you're on a short vacation with a touch of Southeast Asia and a hint of Leipzig's neighborhood. Perfect for relaxing or people-watching without being watched (unless you're sitting at your table with your sushi, obviously in love). Conclusion: If you're looking for good Asian food without any fanfare, but with flavor, charm, and a relaxed atmosphere, Quan Xua is waiting for you.

Good establishment. Everything is very tasty. The only thing is that there is no air conditioning inside. Therefore, it is not very comfortable inside in the heat. Although there are fans.

Extremely delicious and very friendly staff

I didn't want to come here to review, but I was really disappointed to have a bad experience at this restaurant. I came at 9pm, and saw that it was 10pm on the map, so I went in. The first 'impression' was the attitude of the staff towards us, knowing that they were Vietnamese, but when ordering, they spoke German (can't blame them, maybe it's because of the service style here), they were probably about to close so the staff weren't very enthusiastic, but I found them to be very enthusiastic towards Western customers... Moreover... when eating, in my friend's portion of Nam Bo beef noodle soup, there was a strange object, my friend thought it was a piece of beef so he chewed it, but couldn't finish it because it was very tough, after checking, I found out it was a piece of tissue paper... I was extremely shocked at that time, I reported it to the cashier but didn't receive an apology, I was really disappointed

We visited the restaurant yesterday afternoon and had made a reservation, which I would recommend. The lemonades, smoothies, and of course the food were absolutely delicious. The appetizers, sushi, and bowls were all top-notch! The service also left nothing to be desired. We'd be happy to go back.

Absolutely recommended. The many regular guests are proof. We are exhibitors in Leipzig at the Leipzig Plant Market twice a year and eat here every time. It is very authentic and far from the standard Asian! Great non-alcoholic drinks! We always enjoy coming here. It makes a lot of sense to reserve in advance.

I was guided by high opinions. There were a lot of customers there, which I took as a good sign. The decor is also atmospheric. However, the service is less so. The waiters are running around like ants, they don't have time to answer calmly or give advice, our waitress was rude. Moreover, when we left the premises, we said goodbye loudly and were actually laughed at. I ordered seafood poke bawl or something like that. The vegetables were fresh, but only the sauce had any flavor, and there was very little of it. Chopped vegetables and salmon tasteless. That's why I didn't come back. The next day I ate another one and it was much better. So it's more of a matter of place, maybe day. I don't recommend it. You can do much better. P.S. regarding the owner's response... our group consists of only two people... and we didn't talk to anyone about the tip, we didn't persuade any customers to do anything, everyone is free and makes their own decision individually. Besides, I wrote that maybe it was just a matter of a bad day... and you can always say goodbye with a smile. Because when we say goodbye and wish you a nice day, we expect a response in a similar, polite tone. That's all.

Food and service were decent. Ambiance is a matter of taste. But there was warm water for washing hands at the sink in the toilet.

Fantastic food and top service! We had sushi and a duck main course. It was delicious. The house lemonades are also highly recommended. The service is very attentive and considerate. Even when we were stressed (it was really busy) great service!

The three of us had reserved lunch at the Quan Xua restaurant for the weekend. We were greeted at the door by a friendly and polite employee who showed us to our seats. The restaurant was full, and we were glad we had made a reservation. After ordering and a reasonable wait, we received our food and were able to eat. The food was very good in terms of quantity and taste, and the price was reasonable. I would only criticize one thing: the seating consists only of stools with cushions. Unfortunately, not everyone can tolerate this. We will definitely be back.

Vietnamese restaurant in a popular residential area in Leipzig. You can usually get a parking space in the area. We were there on Sunday evening and a reservation was necessary. Porsonal was very polite and fulfilled all wishes. We had two starters and five main courses. Every plate was really delicious. The homemade lemonade was also good. We'll definitely go there again.

Disappointing and disrespectful! We ordered expensive sushi sets, each for our families. When we got home, we discovered that there were only two small plastic fish soy sauces - ridiculously little! Sushi without enough soy sauce is simply not acceptable. When I picked it up I asked for more sauce, but an employee lied to me and said it was "inside". This is stingy, rude and disrespectful to paying customers. Never again!

We ended up there on a Friday without a reservation, we were greeted warmly and seated at a table. The service was very nice and attentive. The homemade lemonades are delicious, as is the food. We had different versions of duck and both were delicious. The turmeric rice is excellent.

The staff is super friendly. The food (I had red curry with chicken) was a revelation. Unfortunately I didn't like the soup 08 and the dessert 91 at all. The spring rolls were fantastic. What is unfortunately very annoying is the volume. It's extremely crowded, everyone seems to be sitting on top of each other and shouting at each other. You should urgently reduce seats so that you can feel more comfortable as a customer. At times you felt like you were at the train station. Discreet mass processing. Too bad! We had chairs without backs, which wasn't very comfortable. I also sat all evening next to a vase with decorative branches where dried fruits and chocolate hung. This one stung me the whole time, the orange slices were hanging on my head or in my eye. Unfortunately, none of the service staff responded. Due to the many people eating there, they were of course very busy. Unfortunately, it was still annoying and unpleasant. Portions and price are okay.

A small, apparently very popular restaurant with delicious, beautifully presented food at affordable prices. As already mentioned several times, it is a little cramped and over the evening it got very warm and slightly stuffy, but all in all it was a successful evening.

The service and the food (can only judge vegan and vegetarian) are very commendable. The tables inside and outside are very close together, but a star deduction for the ambience. Since Quan Xua is very popular, it's worth making a reservation. In the evenings - especially when the outdoor seating is served - you sometimes have to wait over an hour for the food to be served.

Friday evening 6:15 p.m. and the restaurant was full of guests. Some food tasted great, some didn't. I had the 33 and could almost be happy. The sauce and the rice - delicious, the mango, in all dishes, wasn't ripe enough, it was hard and didn't taste sweet. In some places the meat tasted old or I think it was from the freezer. I didn't think it was that great. Sushi recommended and super tasty. The cucumber salad is simply great. Reordering drinks was problematic and the waiters also seemed to have difficulties with dessert. We ordered it but the dessert just didn't come. We also waited almost an hour for the main menu. Unfortunately we had to eat in stages. Those who had already had their food were of course finished again before the others could enjoy their food. Admittedly there were 17 of us, but maybe it had to be organized differently since we were all hungry after a busy day. All in all, it was a successful evening with colleagues.

Small and fine, but a little dark. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance. We didn't do that and yet the staff found a place for us. And the store was really full (Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.). We only waited about 15 minutes for the starter and about 30 minutes for the main course, which is completely OK. And then the whole thing tasted very good and was plentiful. Value for money is normally good. Gladly again soon. TOP recommendation.

I was a guest this afternoon. I can't understand the good rating so far. Maybe the supposedly good chef wasn't there either. I ordered crispy duck with peanut sauce. The duck and the rice were mediocre at best, but edible. But the sauce was subpar, an absolute disgrace. Tasted like it extremely sweetened rice pudding and nothing else. I really tried to eat it, but it just wasn't possible. Sweeter than any children's food I've ever eaten. After I complained, the friendly waiter offered me a curry as a replacement. But exactly the same sweetened food came back on my table, the only ingredient...now made spicier. But no trace of curry. Now I picked a few things off the plate and left the rest. There was goodwill, of course. none. I left it at that. My conclusion, service was great, food was a flop Not a restaurant standard, rather a below average snack bar

We were visiting Leipzig today and the restaurant was recommended to us and if we could we would give it 10 stars. The food is incredibly delicious and very authentic! The restaurant has a large terrace for nice summer evenings and the decor is very nice as is the ambience. Kudos to our waiter, he was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!!!!
