Very tasty Greek, we have ordered here several times but it is even tastier when we eat there.

Yesterday, after a bike ride, we were looking for a restaurant in Lindlar and, after perusing the menu, decided on the Lindenhof. The ambiance, well, was a bit dated, but the service was very attentive and incredibly friendly. Every request was fulfilled, and there was never a long wait. We had a pizza and a vegetarian dish. Both were delicious and absolutely worth the price. Overall, a good restaurant with fair prices.

We used to come here quite often (more than 15 years ago) and were always satisfied. Now we were invited by friends, with the following result: Delicious dishes, but overpriced. My wife's salad was unfortunately too simple. Hence only three ⭐️ Service was friendly, but the wait for drinks and food was unfortunately too long, so it just missed the fifth 🌟. The ambiance also gets only a few stars because the restrooms are "underground." They really need to be renovated!!

A very quaint shop with an attached pub. The food (we had the XL gyro plate and a creamed schnitzel with fries) was truly delicious. The gyro was perfectly seasoned, the meat was delicious, and it was more than enough to feed two people. The tzatziki came separately, which I really liked, and the service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. For a completely spontaneous visit during the week, it was possible to enjoy a delicious meal without a reservation. Thanks for the short but lovely stay!

Always delicious, even for a spontaneous evening meal. Unfortunately, it's always missing that certain something, and the peace and quiet is sometimes disturbed by the bar's activity, and the restrooms are also a bit run down.

Based on previous reviews, we must have caught the chef having a bad day on Sunday. The mushroom schnitzel was, unfortunately, a 3-4 mm thick, over-fried schnitzel parody. The sauce was definitely from a packet. The 8-10 quartered mushrooms, however, seemed fresh. The drinks were also fresh and nice and cold, and the service was friendly and prompt.

A great restaurant...enjoy outdoor dining on the terrace. Friendly staff, and the menu is exactly what you'd expect from a Greek restaurant. The name Lindenhoff doesn't suggest it, but it's Greek through and through.

The Lindenhof is highly recommended. The food is excellent. The portions are perfectly adequate. The staff is very friendly. After dinner, or even on its own, stopping at the sports bar is a highlight. The innkeeper, Kuli, and his family are the best hosts I've ever known.

If you like really dry gyros, you've come to the right place. Anyone who calls this good has never eaten a proper gyro; it's crispy and juicy, but here, none of that. 50 cents for 17 grams of mayonnaise in a portion bag, that's over 29 euros per liter. That's not a portion, that's a joke; you can't eat 10 fries with that. That's probably convenient for the chef, but it's an imposition for the customer. The service was friendly but clearly overwhelmed.

All in all, very good. The selection of food and drinks is large and sufficient. The price/performance ratio is absolutely justified. The portions are large and the food is good. I particularly like the pizza. Last time I was there, I had a schnitzel dish. The portions were great, and the taste was okay, but not outstanding. But that's not a bad thing, because it wasn't bad. In the end, it's a matter of taste. We'd definitely go back and are always pleased by the friendliness of the staff. Keep it up...

Super delicious food and very friendly service. Also very child-friendly. I highly recommend the restaurant. In summer, you can sit outside on the terrace. There's also an attached sports bar where football fans can watch the games together. Everything was excellent.

Big disappointment! We won't be coming back here again. A few years ago we were very happy in this restaurant, but today the food was of poor quality. A rump steak that was so tough that I didn't eat half of it and mushy "potatoes from the oven". Souvlaki with very mixed meat, a lot of fat like from a piece of neck and bland seasoning. A very friendly and attentive waitress, but she couldn't answer my question about whether the pepper sauce was very hot because she hadn't tried the sauce. An additional charge is required for fried potatoes and after I asked what I mean by "potatoes from the oven" the answer was "yes, what should I say about that??, the potatoes go into the oven but are not very seasoned, they are very neutral" I ask, are they a kind of potato wedges? Yes, something like that, yes I would say that.....potato wedges" The meal then consisted of a rump steak, tough as leather and potatoes that looked like boiled potatoes from the day before, put them briefly in the oven and that's how they tasted. When the waitress noticed me messing with my rump steak, she asked if it was tasty. My husband pushed his souvlaki from one corner to the other because he really likes souvlaki because it is absolutely lean and he was now constantly biting on real fatty pieces. We explained our problem and the friendly waitress went into the kitchen to report it. They sent her out again and told us that they were sorry, but that it couldn't be helped. If we wanted we could have a coffee as an excuse. We politely declined and told the waitress that it wasn't her fault, but that it was up to the chef to clarify something like that with the guest. But he didn't show up. We paid and left............

My partner and I had the best gyros ever. The meat was high quality and the salad with a homemade dressing. The service was friendly and attentive. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it.

The moussaka was disproportionately expensive in relation to the size of the portion. When we asked for a small refill because we basically didn't get full and ate the food in 2 minutes, the boss unfortunately only responded with a lack of understanding and no response. Drinks were also disproportionately overpriced... but the service lady tried very hard, was attentive and quick. Food was OK

My friend and I ordered a moussaka for 15.90 euros. The portions were so small that we both finished after 2 minutes. When I asked for a second helping, the boss gave a clear no. Given the prices, you can probably expect a portion that will fill you up. We were there for the last time!

Beautiful, quiet and attractive ambience. The staff is very nice and is available to answer any questions or requests. The food is freshly prepared and therefore tastes great! I always enjoy coming here!

Gyros day today, very tasty, friendly service

Better than expected, n Greek despite the German name, the name probably comes from the pub that belongs to it and was once in German hands, I just tried it out and was quite pleasantly surprised, I can only recommend it!!!

Richtig gutes Essen, super einfach super, ein MUSS wenn man in Lindlar ist. Das Kellnerteam ist super geführt und immer alles sauber. Ich freue mich bereits auf den nächsten Besuch. PS: in der Kneipe selbst schmeckt das Kölsch soooo lecker;)

4/5 I'd give it a 4/5. The pizza wasn't the best in terms of taste. But it tasted absolutely fine. It was warm. I found it had a somewhat off-flavor, but I can't say what it was. Probably a spice, maybe the cheese (spice), or something in the sauce. Otherwise, it's good. But if you like it, you'll like it. The lady on the phone was very friendly :) She also helped me, even though the website apparently said it was closed. I would probably order again despite the spice (or whatever it is).

Good Greek restaurant. There were a few starters such as omelet, tzatziki and broad beans gratinated with Greek cheese. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and very attentive.

If you want to eat badly, you will be served here! We had already decided several times not to order here again, but unfortunately we did it again yesterday - a mistake! You can't get such bad food anywhere else.

Delicious food and fast, attentive service

Unfortunately I have to revise my very good review. We had reserved a table for two people for Saturday evening and when we arrived we discovered that we had the table right next to the front door. We asked to get another table but that wasn't possible because the restaurant was fully booked. There only seem to be two tables for two people and they are right next to the entrance door. However, on Saturday we had sub-zero temperatures and every time we opened the door we were surrounded by ice-cold air. Contrary to expectations, the food wasn't as good as we've already experienced. My pork on the skewer was streaked with fat and was sometimes hard to chew. The gyro was barely raw, but not browned or crispy in the slightest, and it was cut into tiny strips and had almost no taste at all. Finally I made a really big mistake, I went to the toilets. First I had to push my way through the crowded restaurant to get to the toilets. The toilets were some of the worst I've ever experienced. I was struck by a disgusting stench and the toilets seem to have been last renovated and repaired 30 years ago, I don't want to say anything more about it. Conclusion: we will not visit this restaurant again.

The service was great. But …. The gyros in cream sauce tasted very bland and strange (crumb). We then pointed it out to the waitress when she asked if it was tasty. (My plate was still 3/4 full) She then wanted to bring a new one. What we rejected. Unfortunately, there was nothing but compensation.

A solid Greek restaurant with a large selection. The prices for the dishes are very fair - even a little too cheap. The plates are simply arranged - a bit careless, but very rich. The service is very courteous, fast and attentive with a personal approach. Nevertheless, a typical Greek ambience and attention to detail are missing. The food is relatively cheap. The drinks prices are unreasonably high. 4.20 euros for an apple spritzer, 3.20 euros for a small cola, 5.20 euros for a wheat beer are a bit excessive. In the end, cheap food and expensive drinks balance each other out.

We always like to order and it has always been great so far. Today it was supposed to take a good hour to deliver, but it took 2.5 hours and then the wrong inserts were delivered. Then it's better to be honest when ordering.

Went to the Lindenhof in Lindlar again today. We wanted to eat "real Greek" and ordered Stifado and Moussaka. All I can say is - very tasty and really recommended. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our food. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The ambience is very appealing and Greek music was playing discreetly in the background. The price-performance ratio is definitely appropriate. In summer or when the weather is nice you can also sit outside. The evening ended with an ouzo on the house. We will definitely come back. Lg

Constantly delicious Greek-style food. You are always served in a friendly and loving manner, whether by the boss or the service staff, and special requests are no problem at all. I would particularly like to highlight the delicious, homemade salad dressing that I have loved since childhood and has not changed. 5 stars for that alone. You always feel comfortable there and get full enough at decent prices. P.S. The boss also accepts counterfeit money 😜 and there is always a treat for the little dogs

Very nice service. From ordering to eating it only takes 10 minutes, so really quick. The food was also very tasty. So conclusion, we would love to come back.

The food was very good. We like that there are different portion sizes on the menu. We were served very nicely.

It was another one of those days where you look forward to a delicious lunch. The ambience is typically Greek but is now getting old. The service is quite satisfactory, helpful and very friendly. Unfortunately we have to make some compromises when it comes to food. One of us ordered a grill plate where the meat was very dry. It was almost impossible to tell the different types of meat apart because they were all seasoned the same and all had the same taste. We remember this restaurant differently, although we have to say it is not in the upper league, but rather in the middle range of restaurants. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces so you have to find your own parking space somewhere in the city. Disabled people and wheelchair users will also have some problems here. Therefore not recommended for wheelchair users. Unfortunately, our impression today has deteriorated somewhat, which will persuade us not to dine here anymore. Our menus cost around €15 to €18, although the quality wasn't that great. We don't want to give this restaurant a bad rating, but I would rather spend my money on better quality.

Nice ambience, great polite service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't spicy enough for us - i.e. not typically Greek - but upon request the seasoning was added and the plate decoration was even changed.

Once again discovered a good Greek restaurant where the price/performance ratio is right.

I didn't really find the food tasty (especially the salad was below average) and I definitely wouldn't come here again.

Three vegan dishes to choose from, I had the beans with tomato sauce, very tasty! Finally a Greek mocha and an ouzo. Nice service, overall highly recommended!

Sehr nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen in schöner Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir haben Essen bestellt und geschmacklich ist es ganz gut. Besonders das Melitzanosalata hat es mir angetan. Was aber wirklich ein großes Problem ist, ist die Lieferzeit. Wir haben zweimal über eine Stunde länger als angegeben gewartet. Es wird in der Bestell-Mail geschrieben, dass man bei Verzögerungen informiert wird, aber leider geschieht dies nicht.

Ich hatte Gyros mit Spieß, Reis, Zaziki und Salat. Der Extra-Putenspieß wurde mit € 5.95 berechnet - drei Putenspieße (wohlgemerkt: mit Beilage und Salat) kosten € 17.90. Das Verhältnis kann sich jeder selbst ausrechnen ...

Gutes Essen zum fairen Preis. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Servicepersonal und Inhaber, der meist neben an in der Gaststätte anzutreffen ist, sind super nett. Klare Empfehlung.

Essen war kalt ich werde nicht mehr dort Essen. Der Gang zum WC führt durch die Kneipe Die Toilette ist eine Kindergarten Ausführung. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Lange Wartezeit, Servicepersonal wirkt überfordert wenn der Laden voll ist. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig, der Beilagen Salat war sehr salzig, dafür haben die Gewürze bei anderen Gerichten gefehlt. Auch das man sein Essen erst weit nach den anderen (Stamm)Gästen, die nach uns kamen und bestellten, bekommt fanden wir etwas "blöd"

Das Essen war super lecker, mir hat mein Kölsch geschmeckt, meinem Mann der Wein. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung! Ein rundrum gelungener Besuch! Freue mich auf den nächsten!

Man kann einfach nur 5 Sterne geben, wenn es mehr gäbe würde ich auch mehr geben. Einfach super leckeres Essen und super Qualität. Das beste Gyros was es gibt. Auch in Sachen lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten,sehr kompetent beraten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Leckeres Essen schnelle und freundliche Bedienung.

Waren noch nie im Restaurant, sondern lassen immer liefern. Das Essen ist stets heiß und köstlich, die Lieferzeit beträgt maximal 20 Minuten, wenn man über 20 Euro Bestellwert kommt, gibt es einen 2- Euro Gutschein fürs nächste Mal und es gibt keine Liefergebühr. Absolut zu empfehlen. Eine Perle Lindlar's.

Hier gibt es das leckerste griechische Essen! Besonders die Fleischgerichte sind außergewöhnlich gut und auch die Salate und das Moussaka kann ich empfehlen. Mit dem Lieferservice habe ich ebenfalls nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht; immer pünktlich, extrem zuverlässig und sehr freundlich.

Der Lindenhof ist eine Institution in Lindlar. Hier geht eigentlich alles: Tolle Musik, Bundesliga, Konzerte und natürlich das ausgezeichnete Restaurant. Das Personal arbeitet mit Herzblut und lebt Gastronomie, so wie man es eigentlich nur von ein paar Kölner Kultgaststätten kennt. Leider ist Lindlar kein gastronomisches Eldorado und deshalb heißt es eigentlich immer: "Komm, gehen wir zum Toni!"

Eine fantastische, solide Küche, die vom engagierten Personal kredenzt wird. Hier, "Beim Toni" gehts sehr herzlich zu. Fremde werden schnell zu Freunden, Sehr professionell geführt, deshalb ist der Lindenhof seit vielen Jahren die absolute Nr.1 in Lindlar.

Das Ambiente draußen als auch im Restaurant ist schön und wirkt sauber. Die Bedienung war super! Da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Preis-Leistung: Ok! Das Essen war gut, aber nicht herausragend. Jeder findet aber hier etwas leckeres und passendes, da darf man sich nicht beschweren. Das Gyros war, meiner Meinung nach, sehr gut! Lecker gewürzt und es schmeckt frisch. Die gefüllten Weinblätter möchte ich auch jedem Gast empfehlen: frisch und lecker. Die vegetarische Lasagne war gut, aber es fehlte eventuell etwas Soße (ist aber auch wieder Geschmackssache...). Das Lammfleisch war gut. Ich mag das Zaziki mit mehr Knoblauch und es dürften auch mehr Zwiebeln beim Gyros dabei sein. Der kleine Beilagensalat war nicht so mein Geschmack....ich hätte mir etwas frischeres vorgestellt (Tomaten, Gurken, etwa Feta). Warum? Weil ich diesen Salat überall bekomme. Möchte man aus der Menge herausstechen Bedarf es natürlich auch etwas Besonderem. Toilette : doofe Regelung. Man durchquert die an das Restaurant angeschlossene Bar und das wirkt einfach nicht sonderlich schön auf mich. ABER: die Toilette war sauber. Das ist natürlich das Wichtige. In Total: Das Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert! Das Essen ist durchweg gut. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Voirafje ging nog, hoofdgerecht zou een hond nog niet eten. Waren met 3 personen, en allemaal een ander gerecht, maar dezelfde conclusie.

Ich war heute mit meinem Freund das zum Essen und bin begeistert! Dieses Lokal kann ich nur empfehlen, das Essen war super lecker und die Bedienung ausgezeichnet, vielen Dank

Ja was soll ich sagen? Nichts hat sich geändert!Wieder freundlicher Empfang.Wieder aufmerksamer Service. Wieder hervorragende Speisen,die rasch und perfekt zubereitet serviert wurden.

Wir haben Essen zum Abholen bestellt, für 2 Personen, eine Uhrzeit war abgemacht. Bei Ankunft teilte man mit, ich müssen noch 10 Minuten warten, daraus wurden dann 15 Minuten. Schlechter Service am Kunden! Damit nicht genug, der Tsatsiki war schlecht (Verfallsdatum abgelaufen?) und die Bestellung war nicht richtig ausgeführt. Bzgl. des Tsatsiki empfehle ich dem Gesundheitsdienst einmal einen Besuch abzustatten, wir jedenfalls riskieren dieses Restaurant nicht noch einmal.

Aufgrund des guten Essen und des netten Service waren wir nicht zum ersten mal hier. Das Essen war (zu) reichlich und lecker. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und zügig. Die Preise sehr moderat und auch der abschließende Ouzo auf Kosten des Hauses hat nicht gefehlt. Rundum ein gelungener Abend und sehr empfehlenswert.

Meine Familie und ich hatten Lust auf was zu Essen, wollten aber nicht raus. Dann sind wir im Internet auf das Restaurant Lindenhof gestoßen, was griechisches Essen liefert. Wir lieben griechisches Essen und haben uns mega gefreut. Wir bestellten Souvlaki, Gyros, Hacksteak, Schweinefilet und diverse Beilagen. Beim Filet hatten wir erst bedenken, dass es trocken ankommt durch die Lieferzeit. Knapp über eine Stunde später kam das Essen, eingeschweißt und heiß. Durch die Bank weg war alles super lecker. Das Filet war zart, der Gyros super gewürzt. Das Hacksteak hat meinen Bruder komplett begeistert. Souvlaki wie man es kennt. Göttlich. Als Sahnehäubchen gab es noch Treuegutscheine für die nächste Bestellung , die ziemlich sicher bald eingelöst werden!!

Wieder haben wir es nicht bereut. Diesmal haben wir es gewagt ein Gericht mit Lammkotelette auszuwählen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht,waren im Gegenteil angenehm überrascht. Bedienung im Restaurant wie immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam!

Wir waren übers Wochenende im Hotel Artgenossen in Lindlar und wollten zum Essen aber raus. 450 entfernt liegt das Restaurant Lindenhof. Griechische Küche, große Auswahl, schnell und lecker! Dazu auch noch recht preiswert! Wir waren zwei Abende dort. Das Bergische Landbräu ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant War beide Male gut besucht

Waren hungrig, und dauenrd selber Kochen ist blöd im Urlaub. Also hier eingekehrt. Griechische Küche, sehr gut gekocht und freundliche. ruhige Atmossphäre, freundliche Bedienung. und faire Preise...alles bestens.

Nr.149 Apolion ist ein u.a. mit Fetakäse pikant gefülltes Hacksteak das pikant und vollmundig schmeckt. Sehr freundlicher Services und der Lindenhof ist eines der wenigen Restaurants, die montags in Lindlar geöffnet haben.

Wir wurden durch die Kellnerin sehr freundlich empfangen. Nach dem wir ein Platz gefunden hatte wurde uns schnell die Karte gereicht und nach Getränken gefragt. Die Getränke kamen auch sehr schnell. Die Essensbestellung wurde auch schnell aufgenommen und Sonderwünsche von uns ohne Probleme berücksichtigt. Innerhalb von 15 Minuten kam das Essen. Die Speisen waren lecker, aber natürlich keine Spitzengastronomie. Wir bekamen daß was wir auch erwartet haben. Solide griechische Speisen. Zum Schluss gab es noch für jeden ein Ouzu der auf das Haus ging und ein netter Smalltalk mit der Kellnerin. Es war ein netter und angenehmer Besuch im Restaurant. Ein Punkt ziehe ich ab wegen des Ambiente. Hier könnte mal wieder renoviert werden.
