Dear Sulejman, we have been visiting your restaurant on special occasions for 20 years now. We celebrated birthdays, Valentine's Day, wedding anniversaries and communions with you. Unfortunately, the restaurant no longer maintains what was standard before Corona. Last night we went to the restaurant as a family to celebrate my 55th birthday. The food was great as always, but unfortunately the service was really bad. The situation that surpassed everything was when the waiter claimed that I had ordered the normal one instead of the black angus with asparagus when he brought it to the table. He must have misheard and then loudly claimed at the table that I hadn't said that. In addition, the food was not served per table, but according to the dish, sometimes to one table and then to the other table. The result was that one meal at the table was cold and then the next one came. Unfortunately, so did the side dishes for the other food at the table. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to it. We were also assigned a table in the winter garden, which unfortunately does not do justice to the charm of the office building. We didn't order dessert or wine anymore. Since this is the third time something like this has happened, we will probably try another restaurant, what a shame.☹️

We live in Lindlar and had a Waffeln here once in the summer a long time ago. I was given a burnt Waffeln, so I haven't patronized this restaurant for at least 2 years. But today we visited this restaurant again, and I was very surprised👍👍👍The 4 Gänge Menü we chose was really unexpectedly delicious: 1. First of all, Vorspeise, cold and very soft meat with fruits and pine nuts, gebraten mushrooms on top, plus a very special sauce and Käse. Sweet, sour fruit, plus nutty taste, very rich 👍 2. My husband likes tomato soup and I feel fine 3. Next came the main dish. My husband ordered fish and he liked it very much. Mine was steak, it was so delicious😋, I liked it very much. I think the sauce inside is fruity, sour and sweet, and with the onions and potatoes as side dishes, it has a comprehensive flavor, which is delicious. 4. For the last dessert, my husband chose the Käse series. Mine was a very delicious chocolate Creme, tiramisu, and an ice cream with pomegranate in it. This dessert made me feel happy after eating it. Overall, whether it’s the service, restaurant layout, or dish presentation, it’s all good! Very much to our taste. We ate what the chef cooked and every dish was a surprise! 👍I will continue to choose this restaurant to eat and recommend it to more friends and family

Everything is actually right here. Very tasty, high quality and can't be beaten in terms of friendliness. The only thing I'm missing are a few creative, vegetarian alternatives.

It is worth to drive to Lindlar town just to have a meal in this Restaurant. The Lamb rack with home-made potatoes was perfectly cooked and paired. German beer confirmed its the best on the Globe! My sincerest recommendations to visit the place!

We came across the restaurant by chance and ordered the three-course surprise menu. The service was very quick, professional, but still relaxed. Exactly what you would hope for in the country. We didn't wait long for food either and to shorten the waiting time, house bread was served with dips and butter. The red one had too much paprika powder for our taste, but it was fresh and tasty. The first course was the beef carpaccio with delicious dressings, pine nuts and parmesan stubble, as well as some show-stealing mushrooms, but still a delicious starter. The main course was great and huge, great jus, spicy vegetables, delicious onions, lots of gratin and a shrimp that was a bit lost on the plate. The dessert variation at the end is the crowning glory. It's been a long time since we were both absolutely full and ate so deliciously. Definitely coming again

Four of us stopped by on the weekend. Ordered different dishes. Everything was right in terms of service, food and price. Husband would love to come back.

Ambiance was good. The food was also very good. But the service took some getting used to. Once again, one person had to wait half an hour longer for their food, even though they had chosen the same menu as me.

We were there for the lunch buffet at Christmas. The very attentive and diligent service should be positively highlighted. For vegetarians, there was an attractive substitute in addition to the menu. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not really adapted to people with celiac disease. It is clear that people with this restriction are not allowed to eat much of the buffet. A corresponding label on the map would have been helpful. You can't tell what a sauce was used to bind it with. When asked, efforts were made to provide information about the individual dishes, but these were not always reliably correct. The fried fish was supposedly gluten-free. On the plate it turned out that it had been floured before frying. I expect better labeling from a restaurant in this price range. The service staff tried very hard, but didn't exactly know the difference between lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance.

The 6-course menu at the New Year's Eve Gala was really delicious! The evening was perfect all around. There was live music and the courses came at regular intervals. There was something for everyone. I'm really excited.

The best restaurant in all of Lindlar and the surrounding area! An absolute highlight, especially on New Year's Eve ✨Great service, delicious food, champagne, live music and your own fireworks... what more could you want! Thank you for this wonderful evening 🍾

Wir sassen am Kamin in der urigen Ecke. Dort geht zwar immer die Tür zur Küche auf und zu, aber das bringt auch "Luft"🙂 Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend, preislich ok. (Z.B.:Gänsegericht 30€) Wir kommen wieder🤗

Hervorzuheben ist der Service. Sehr freundlich. Der Preis für die angebotenen Speisen leider nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Lammkarree war teilweise bleu. Es wurde allerdings angeboten, es nachzubraten.Für dieses Preisniveau kennen wir bessere Restaurants.

Das Essen ist super lecker! Das Personal ist freundlich und geht sogar auf Sonderwünsche ein. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Wenn es 10 Sterne gäbe 10/10! Immer wieder gerne!

Liebes Team, Wir haben wieder einen sehr schönen Sonntag Mittag im alten Amtshaus verbracht. Das Essen und der Service waren wie auch schon zuvor hervorragend. Einfach perfekt und sehr zu empfehlen. Ich habe heute mein 10 jähriges Betriebsjubiläum hier gefeiert. Es war ein wundervoller Abend mit grandiosen Essen und super Service. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen für Veganer. Heute beim Osterbrunch gewesen. Es wird zwar mit einem veganem Menü geworben und extra danach gefragt, was dann kam war aber enttäuschend. Vitello Tonnato für die anderen, für Veganer nur der beiliegende Salat. Noch nichtmals eine größere Portion des Salats um das auszugleichen. Danach Tomatensuppe mit Creme Fraiche. Auf Nachfrage wurde gesagt, dass die vegan sei, was ich allerdings bezweifle. Beim Buffet war danach nichts als Vegan ausgeschildert, auf Nachfrage wurde gesagt, dass alles vom Butterreis über das Kartoffelgratin bis hin zum Lachs (!) vegan sei. Es gab dann Kartoffeln, Blattspinat und Gemüsepfanne. Ob die Sachen tatsächlich vegan waren? Keine Ahnung. Zum Dessert wurde Sorbet, Tiramisu und Sahne serviert, wobei nur das Sorbet vegan war. Das andere müsse man ja nicht essen, war die Aussage der Bedienung auf Nachfrage. Für diejenigen, die Allergien haben und sich auf die Aussagen der Kellner verlassen müssen ist das mehr als kritisch. Die Betreiber und die Bedienung scheinen keine Ahnung zu haben, was vegan bedeutet. Dann sollte man auch nicht damit werben. Der Service war sehr nett und zügig.

Das Essen war super lecker. Auch der Service war prima und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Vom Platz war es etwas eng, stört mich aber nicht.

Sahen euch bei Kabel 1 Sieht alles soo lecker aus....wir kommen !!!!! Eine Frage noch...darf man einen guten erzogenen Hund mitbringen...

Zum ersten Mal hier gewesen. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, toller aufmerksamer Service und das Ambiente ist ebenfalls klasse. Sehr zu empfehlen

Es war unser erster Besuch im Alten Amtshaus und ohne etwas vorweg zu nehmen kann ich sagen: wir haben den Besuch sehr genossen! An diesem Abend hat einfach alles gepasst. Sehr aufmerksame Kellner, stilvoll gedeckte und dekorierte Tische in einer geschichtsträchtigen Umgebung und nicht zuletzt Gerichte, die uns begeistert haben.

Gemütliche, aber auch elegante alte Amtsstube mit einer schönen Auswahl an Speisen und Wein. Sehr zuvorkommende und humorvolle Bedienung, sehr leckeres Essen in angenehmen Portionen, so dass man auch ein Dessert essen kann.

Mit (Geschäfts-)Freunden essen gehen. Vorab im alten Amtshaus Reserviert. Zwei Tische waren vorbereitet, einer innen, einer auf dem Freisitz. Klasse Service, sehr lecker. Alle sehr satt und zufrieden.

Besitzer geht auf alle Eventualitäten ausnahmslos perfekt ein. Hochzeitstag vergessen und Besitzer hatte sofort geholfen und uns einen wunderschönen Abend beschert. Tisch wunderschön mit Rosenblättern dekoriert. Zu jedem Gang immer persönlich freundlich und ruhig Tips und Anregungen zu Weinen gegeben. Andere Bewertungen mit cholerischen Chef kann und will ich nicht teilen. Künstler und Visionäre dürfen auch mal etwas anders auftreten. Wir gehen mit der Familie jedenfalls immer sehr gerne wieder hin!
