A really great restaurant, very good food, great ambience. I'll definitely be back!

Totally overpriced, inedible and poor hygiene. We'll never go there again.

We were there as a group, Christmas party. I was the only one who got my food an hour before everyone else. Normally you choose the tapas yourself, I was simply given three. One of them was totally over-seasoned. I didn't like it. The bread that came with it was delicious. Apparently the quality of the restaurant has dropped a lot because I had only heard good things before. It's a shame, I won't be back and I can't recommend it either.

We were very satisfied! Very nice and courteous service and the tapas/mezze were very tasty and available in a large selection. I also think it's good that you can see what's on offer so you can choose. It's completely okay that it's warmed up again briefly in the oven, but the quality was still very good.

On a Saturday, unfortunately very crowded and incredibly loud. But the food was delicious... Maybe plan a visit during the week soon

Very tasty food, with a reasonable price-performance ratio. The quality of the food is great and the taste is simply a highlight. But what struck us even more positively was the very cozy, almost family-like atmosphere. You will be looked after very well and if you follow the host's recommendations and like to try something new, you don't even need a menu. Absolutely recommended!!

Really great lamb dishes! The meat was tender as butter and didn't taste at all obtrusive, typical of lamb, good grilled aroma and roasting. A pleasure!

The clay oven is located on the Weserspitze - at the corner of Magazinstrasse. The restaurant specializes in higher class Turkish dishes - but very fairly priced. The dishes are of the best quality - very nice staff - and I can highly recommend the clay oven. Definitely - Very good.

Super nice service and quiet ambience. You can sit very well both outside and inside. Inside we had a nice view of the wood stove. There is a large selection of food, which was prepared quickly. I can only recommend it.

The lammkotelett is very crispy but still juicy. It still tastes good even it is cold. It doesn't need to wait too long and the staffs are friendy. The price is a bit higher but it is definitely worthy.

For us it is one of the best restaurants in Kassel, whether with family, friends or just the two of us, the choice often falls on the clay oven and everyone we take with us also likes to go there later. The food is consistently very tasty and everything is freshly prepared. The tapas are a hit, both in terms of taste and selection. I've never eaten such a delicious steak anywhere. The staff is always friendly and attentive, as is the boss. I can only recommend it to everyone to try it out. Sometimes it is very crowded but everything runs smoothly. We ordered a grill plate and were very satisfied. There were also fries, salad, bread and 3 different sauces. It tasted great and we would love to come back. Clear recommendation from us.

I was in Kassel with my wife to visit family and we ate at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, especially the juicy meat, and very well grilled, just TOP. The salad was good and the bulgur was also very tasty. The food was perfect. The waitress was very respectful and nice. The owner of the restaurant is a wise man and a gentleman. He welcomed us very warmly and showed us great respect. The decoration is good, kind of old traditional school, which is cool. But I think they could be modernized a bit and made more luxurious. That was just my idea. Still, we had a great time there. If I come back to Kassel, we will definitely visit this restaurant again and look forward to another warm welcome. 🙏🏽😊

We were there early enough that we easily got a table without a reservation, it was quiet, friendly service, excellent food, no annoying football broadcast despite the European Championship game between Germany and Hungary... everything was great. The star deduction in the service is because I couldn't tell from the menu which dishes contain products made from cow's milk. But I chose well (239) and therefore had no problem with the food itself. If I lived somewhere here, I would definitely and very much like to come back.

Das ist Essen ist super-ich mag das Angebot. Freundliche Bedienung, wenn man nachbestellen möchte muss man selbst aktiv werden, lag wohl am gut besuchten Abend. Leider ist die Speisekarte online immer noch veraltet wie schon von anderen hier bemängelt. Gemüse Spieß aktuell 19.90€ das verhältnis zu den Fleischgerichten-fragwürdig. War lecker aber teuer wie ich finde! Ansonsten waren alle begeistert von den Speisen. Bis bald!

You can get a variety of dishes in small clay plates, a mix of 6 or more varieties... totally cool, order in the middle of everything and don't have to worry about which main course I'm going to order🫣🧐 Whether you're a vegetarian or meat fan, everyone will enjoy it... I would But we advise everyone to make a reservation in advance as they are almost always full... a real Gurme temple with great wine or raki:)))) Culinary cuisine in Kassel at its finest🙏🙏🙏

Gastronomy is still practiced here, which has become increasingly rare, and the customer is treated as a real customer. So if you want good food and don't want to feel tired or bad afterwards, I recommend Lehmoffen in Kassel.

This was my first time in this restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and cheerful. There were a lot of people, which means that the restaurant is a success🤩☝🏻. We were in Kassel on business. We come from the Hamburg area and were not disappointed when looking for a good restaurant. A bit inconspicuous from the outside. But indoors is even better. Portions are large - good value for money. Food very tasty. Great restaurant. Reservation is recommended. If we are in Kassel again, we would like to eat at the 'Lehmofen' again :)

We had dinner here with 3 people last night. The extremely friendly service helped us choose our dishes. An extra wish was also fulfilled. Food was very tasty. Ein wunderbarer Abend, mit leckerem Essen und extrem freundlichem und aufmerksamem Personal. Der Chef hat uns persönlich begrüßt und uns anschließend an sein Personal weitergeleitet, welches sehr zügig die Bestellung aufgenommen hat. Sonderwünsche beim Essen waren ebenfalls kein Problem. Jedes leere Glas wurde innerhalb weniger Minuten bemerkt und neue Getränke nachgeliefert. Das Essen war-trotz komplett ausgebuchtem Restaurant-innerhalb von 45 Minuten am Tisch. Alle Speisen waren angenehm temperiert, der Garpunkt des Fleisches auf den Punkt medium getroffen, die Saucen leicht und die Gemüse sichtbar frisch. Jedes Gericht war ausreichend gewürzt, so dass Salz und Pfeffer nicht zum Einsatz kommen mussten. Die Salate hatten die richtige Menge Dressing und die Portionsgröße stimmte auch. Am Schluss gab es sogar noch einen Schnaps auf's Haus und sogar die Kids bekamen einen alkoholfreien Shot 😀 Absolute Empfehlung an alle, die gern essen gehen und gut bedient werden wollen!

Wir habe einen Kurztrip in Kassel gehabt und ich habe dieses Restaurant ausgesucht. Als wir ankamen war es übelst voll und ich dachte, das mit unserem Essen würde ewig dauern, aber dem war gar nicht so. Alles ging relativ zügig. Die kleinen Tapas finde ich besonders schön, die waren super lecker. Dann hatten wir die Lehmofenplatte die auch super war und die Dorade. Die war von der Knusprigkeit her eine der besten die ich gegessen habe. Finde die Preise auch sehr moderat für das was man bekommt. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr nett, der Punkt Abzug ist nur, weil wir einen Tisch direkt vor der Tür hatten und mein Freund ständig im Zug gesessen hat. Hier würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen.

Man glaubt gar nicht, was sich an der jetzt nicht so ansprechenden Weserstrasse für ein tolles Restaurant "verbirgt"... Hervorzuheben ist das junge und meganette Team, welchens im größten Gewusel auf jeden Gast individuell eingeht und Freude an der Arbeit ausstrahlt :-) Ganz davon abgesehen, dass das Essen super lecker war! Ich hatte Mezze (Tapas) als Hauptgericht und was ich nicht geschafft habe, mit nach Hause genommen. Zum Abschluß gab es einen Ouzo auf's Haus und wir waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal da. Eine absolute Weiterempfehlung!!!

Essen total lecker. Die Vorspeisen( Mezze) und die Hauptgerichte sind schon was Besonderes. Die beiden Service- Kräfte Julia + Lisa und der Inhaber Tahsin einfach nur Spitze und verleihen der Gaststätte noch einmal ein Gefühl von Willkommen sein. Immer wieder gerne.

Kenne ehrlich gesagt kein besseres Restaurant in Kassel. Preis-Leistung ist der Wahnsinn, das Essen schmeckt überragend und das Personal ist super freundlich. Bisher nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht und schon einigen Leuten weiterempfohlen.

Wir waren gestern zum fünften Mal dieses Jahr da und ich kann den Küchen sowie den Servicepersonal nur mein höchsten Respekt zollen. Trotz gefühlten 10 Zeitgleichen Weihnachtsfeiern (wobei das Ambiente trotzdem superschön war), haben wir als kleine Gruppe unser Essen und Trinken in hervorragender Qualität und in einer mehr als angemessenen kurzen Wartezeit. Kann mich nur wiederholen, einfach nur empfehlenswert!
