Perfect service We didn't eat anything

Nice restaurant, extensive breakfast buffet, friendly service. If the restaurant is full, there is a corresponding background noise. We would come back!

Good location. Service mostly friendly but very slow. We ordered drinks when the menu came and food when the drinks came to the table. Two courses still took 1:53 hours. The beef tartare was so chopped that it almost felt like a puree. Nicely prepared, the taste is slightly below average. The toast was no longer even lukewarm and very soggy. For the main course, the steak was well cooked and also tasted good. The fried potatoes in the schnitzel were much too fatty and not fried but rather warmed in fat. The schnitzel was delicious. The bread at the front was dry.

This evening we were specially here for the beer tapping, unfortunately we were happy too early! Because it's only available in Alzenau! I don't understand why you advertise an event when it doesn't take place as planned, but only reluctantly, due to fewer reservations! Only the music was really great, but that was all! Beer tapping without a barrel and tapping is really not possible, it's like a wine festival without wine!

Were there today to eat, but the food was overpriced for 19.90 in quantity and the potatoes were missing from the plate. I got them but unfortunately dry potatoes don't taste good. It's a shame to write that I won't be eating out anymore They had forgotten half a baked eggplant and 2 baked mushrooms for 20 euros

For two fried eggs and a coffee, almost 20 euros is a lot.

Very tasty lunch at fair prices. You can sit outside well protected. The service is quick and friendly. Recommended.

Sunday breakfast. Unfortunately only buffet. For €16.90 I would have expected a larger and higher quality selection of cold components. After all, freshly prepared fried eggs, scrambled eggs and omelettes are available upon request. Service very friendly. Pleasant atmosphere.

Were there for brunch during the week. The service was friendly, but a bit overwhelmed and we had to wait every now and then. The food at brunch is delicious and has plenty of choice, including tomato mozzarella, cakes, vegetables and spreads. Only the pancakes were totally dry and not recommended. Sitting outside is pleasant when the weather is nice, but you have to deal with the wasps - the "spray water" provided as a defense is unfortunately not very helpful.

Zero service to be found. Order and wait 20 minutes+ for a drink.

A very balanced menu with a good veggie selection too. Everything was tasty, the service was friendly and good, the espresso came with the dessert, the veal steak was perfect and the price was reasonable.

We were here for breakfast with 50 people as part of the company outing and were thrilled by the selection and the ambience. The organization in advance also ran smoothly thanks to Ms. Glaßer from Café Lebenswert. We'd love to come back! Thank you for everything!

The idea that children get a free meal when they order two main courses is well-meant but poorly implemented. Aside from the fact that my husband and I absolutely didn't like the food for such a high price, the food was just exhausting for my 2.5 year old. We ordered pasta with tomato sauce for him from the children's menu. When I asked if we could get a simple type of pasta for him (since it was only 2.5) I was met with incomprehensibility and was then told that he would first have to ask in the kitchen whether this was possible. I then said "everything is fine, but please no spaghetti or anything like that as it is difficult for him to eat" - he absolutely didn't understand that!? No sooner said than done... then the food came... TAGLIATELLE. Um? So you only have TAGLIATELLE pasta in the kitchen and nothing else? That was the second time and now I don't come to your place anymore because of the quality of the food. It's a shame that you dismantled like that. ___________ Update: I specifically asked for penne, fusilli or something similar. Just no spaghetti please. I just wasn't understood. When the food arrived I said to the waiter "that's for a small child, how is he supposed to eat it alone". I can't be more honest.

Salad cost €20 and wasn't tasty Burger including fries also cost €20 and wasn't really tasty either.

Today, April 27th, 2024, I was at “Lebenswert” from around 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Although the restaurant was extremely busy, I couldn't order a drink because no waitress came to the table. At a table with a little more than 10 people sitting, the waitress should stop by every now and then to take one or two orders. Apparently the staff at this restaurant has zero interest in generating sales. The “value of life” is not recommended for me.

Top quality, the food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. Best German restaurant I've been to.

Incredibly bad service and repeatedly unspectacular food. Last year we were guests at the Stadthalle three times - events of all kinds - each time disappointing in the same way. Unfortunately, every event in the town hall is tied to this caterer, which is why it is no longer an attractive location for us. Staff don't know a menu, put unopened wine with corks on the table, refuse to cool the wine and seem fundamentally uninstructed and overwhelmed. Absolutely negative rating, after multiple chances. There are definitely better companies in Aschaffenburg that the city of Aschaffenburg should consider in a place like the town hall. Unfortunately, despite the great location, only 1 star.

Oh well! There were a lot of free tables outside, but the waitress still told me to go in first and let the people in there know that I wanted to sit outside so that she could clear the table!! 🤔 pretty confusing! I didn't go in because she noticed how strange it was. The table was cleared of glasses, but not of the crumbs. And I got a very bad cappuccino that wasn't edible. No, thank you, never again. I've often had strange experiences. Oh well.. When you talk about decency in a good restaurant, it includes cleaning the tables properly. And there is big difference between cappuccino and some cafe with milk. You have an answer for everything, but that doesn't mean it's the right one. That's actually enough for me if I don't come to you anymore. Then it's alright.

Wir hatten das Lebenswert extra ausgewählt, um lactose und gluten-free in Aschaffenburg essen zu können. Nach dem Hinweis bei der online-Buchung und am Tisch auf die Zöliakie kam der Salat mit Ziegenkäse und eine Pommes. Die Reaktion wenige Stunden darauf war verheerend und eindeutig auf Gluten zurückzuführen. Zur Erklärung argumentierte der Betreiber, wir hätten noch einmal deutlicher auf die Unverträglichkeit hinweisen müssen. “Jeder wisse doch, dass Ziegenkäse Lactose enthalte.” Wichtig zu wissen: Ziegenkäse ist grundsätzlich lactosefrei! Also: WARNUNG bei Unverträglichkeiten! -

Was in this restaurant yesterday shortly before 8 p.m. and it was an exciting experience. The problem was apparently that the event in the town hall was supposed to start a short time later. Unfortunately, the capacities of the kitchen and the staff employed are not sufficient to cope with the large number of people. Some guests left the "Lebenswert" hungry again because the food didn't come to the table in time. Others paid while they were eating and then had to enjoy their dish within a very short time. That was more stuffing, but no enjoyment Track. My wife and I were warned when we ordered that it might take longer and we waited 60 minutes for a cream of asparagus soup and a salmon bite as a starter. Both were delicious, but far too expensive. During the entire time, the staff never came by to ask for another drink. Conclusion: The prices quoted are not justified by the service, the kitchen capacity is not sufficient to deal with the rush before events in a reasonable time.

Nice location, right by the castle, parking garage also right around the corner. The food was delicious, the price/performance ratio was reasonable... but the service was rarely there...

Were here for lunch. We had the pollock fillet in dill-white wine sauce with basmati rice and the catfish fillet with parsley potatoes. A little too much butter for my taste, as the fillet was on a butter surface. But otherwise pleasantly surprised by the lovely ambience and friendly service.

The food tastes good but not enough. It doesn't fill you up and the fish and potatoes are only lukewarm. With a steak, the side salad is just decoration. We waited 45 minutes for it. I'm happy to pay this price, but the performance isn't right.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Empfehlungen, klare Speisekarte und eine gute Weinauswahl. Das Essen war großartig. Wer nach Aschaffenburg kommt, sollte hier essen gehen. Ein weiteres Plus: es ist ein ausgezeichneter Ausbildungsbetrieb 🤩

Went there for brunch for the first time today. Everything was freshly prepared... lots of choice... you can order a fresh omelet and fried egg. It's just a shame that there are no juices and you have to order the coffee. All drinks are free extra.But the price and selection is really great for the price.Will come again.

Yesterday I reserved a table for the first time in my life (Restaurant Lebenswert)! I got a table for the next day (for 2 people) and today was the first time in the restaurant Lebenswert! The first impression was very impressive: The ladies and gentlemen employed were very friendly and polite The atmosphere was nice and (I think) comfortably furnished The food was really delicious and the friendly man even packed the rest for me to take home Restaurant Lebenswert is definitely worth a visit

A friend gave us a voucher as a present and so we booked a table. I didn't expect this special menu being so delicious. Good atmosphere and good service.

I wanted to taste original German cuisine and I think thanks to Lebenswert I succeeded. Boar sausages were great, local beer was also up to my high expectations.

Essen hat super geschmeckt und Personal war sehr freundlich. Nur es könnte besser mit dem Abräumen sein... Außerdem wenn es eine Vorstellung in der Stadthalle gibt, ist es voll und dann laut. Werde nächstes Mal darauf achten und dann wird's bestimmt eine gemütlicher Runde sein!

Der Service war zuvorkommend und freundlich, das Essen lecker. Besonders der Salat war frisch und knackig. Allerdings sind die Preise meiner Meinung nach unangemessen hoch. 20 Euro für einen Burger zu verlangen, finde ich etwas zu viel.

Wir durften bereits die Brisque-Sauce probieren, die es zu den amerikanischen Wochen im Juli geben wird. Sie war ein Gedicht! Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den Juli im Lebenswert! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend mit dem superleckeren Essen.

Lebenswert is a really nice restaurant for all generations and the service was very friendly. The vegan burger was very good, better than most from “hip burger shops”. The pasta pockets were also delicious, BUT there was very little. This alone won't fill you up, which is a shame. The espresso should also be worked on, it was lukewarm and not particularly good. I would have hoped for more here in such an atmosphere.

This was our third time there for the buffet. Unfortunately, there were a few things that weren't so great this time. 1. The decaf coffee was very thin. You could see it and unfortunately also taste it. 2. The scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes were cold. The boiled eggs were also only lukewarm. 3. It wasn't very warm in the room. When we pointed out that the food wasn't warm, all we got was "I'll pass it on." That's it. No further reaction. I think you can expect a little more for a breakfast that cost just under 40 euros with drinks. At least a good coffee and warm food. Very unfortunate.

It is definitely positive that attention is paid to organic and high-quality ingredients. My burger was also well topped, unfortunately the meat tasted a bit dry. Otherwise, the staff paid attention to hygiene and always responded quickly to our requests.

Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, sehr aufmerksamer Service, kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren zum Weihnachts Essen dort mit der Firma. Ich muss ehrlich zu geben, ich bin total enttäuscht. Es kam so gut wie keiner vom Personal zu uns in den Bereich über 60 min. trotzdem nach 3 mal nachfragen, das wir alle noch gerne etwas bestellen würden, wurden wir sitzen gelassen und an der Theke nichts ausgeschenkt. Es hieß immer es kommt jemand auch als der laden zu 50 Prozent dan Leer wurde. Leider kann ich es nicht weiterempfehlen und werde auch nicht mehr hin gehen.

Top für mich. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut für meinen Geschmack. Personal aufmerksam nett hilfsbereit. Keep it up!!

Wir haben bei der Reservierung angegeben das wir 2 Kinderhochstühle benötigen und diese waren schon am Tisch und für uns bereit. Wunderbar.

Ich hatte vorher viel gutes gehört, war aber enttäuscht! Unsere Gerichte (Schnitzel und Käsespätzle) waren nicht schlecht, jedoch Mittelmaß!

Wir waren seit Längerem wieder im #Lebenswert zum Essen, und natürlich auch zum Schwatzen. Beides lässt sich gut an, im gemütlichen, aber auch modern ausgestatteten Lokal. Die Küche zeigt große Kompetenz bei der Zubereitung der Speisen und das hohe Niveau setzt sich auch im Service fort. Gerne kommen wir wieder. M.Hirsch Autorin

Wir kommen gerne in den ruhigeren Zwischenzeiten. Das Mittagessen war sehr lecker und wir kommen gerne wieder. Hervorzuheben ist der sehr gute freundliche Service.

Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz vollem Restaurant kam das Essen ziemlich schnell und war einwandfrei. War schon mehrmals im Lebenswert. Immer zufrieden gewesen.

Portions are generous, plenty of protein. Wild Gulasch was a little one dimensional in flavor just umami. The spätzle had no flavor whatsoever. The Zander fish dish had no truffle flavor at all. Front of house staff was probably overwhelmed by the big groups coming for Christmas dinner because the service was slow. The children burger came first and everyone else was waiting another ~20min before mains arrived. The baked ice cream had the weirdest dough shell I ever tasted, not like it was bad but not what I expected. I might try again on a less busy day but not again on a bank holiday.

Wir waren zum Gans essen mit Freuden im Lebenswert verabredet und es war spitze. Bei diesem Festschmaus (Achtung - Gans sollte man vorbestellen!) lohnt sich jede noch so lange Anreise. Wir sind extra aus Frankfurt gekommen und haben den Abend in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Gans war zart und schmackhaft. Die Beilagen von den Knödeln über Maronen bis hin zum Rotkraut und der Füllung eine echte kulinarische Meisterleistung des Küchenchefs. Wir kommen wieder - so viel steht fest!

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lecker und ausreichend. Da findet jeder etwas. Ich komme gerne wieder :)

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der Service war von Anfang an perfekt. Die Auswahl der Gerichte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr viele heimische Zutaten. Und lecker warmes obendrein. Wir kommen wieder!

Ausgezeichnete Küche, sowie der Service war wirklich sehr gut. Die Musik des Alleinunterhalters war nicht zu laut, wur konnten uns sehr gut unterhalten. Das " Highlight " Ich hatte einen Ring am Tisch verloren. Ca eine halbe Stunde nachdem wir gegangen waren bekam ich einen Anruf, und wurde gefragt ob ich zufällig einen Ring verloren hätte....jaaaa Tolllllll bei einem Wiederkommen werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen..

Schöne Atmosphäre und freundliches Personal. Gibt jeweils circa 3 vegetarische und vegane Optionen. Wir hatten den veganen Burger. War nichts besonderes, aber hat trotzdem gut geschmeckt. Der Käse war wahrscheinlich von SimplyV und leider nicht wirklich geschmolzen. Dafür war aber das Bürgerbrötchen sehr lecker. Gab vorm Essen noch eine in Scheiben geschnittene Semmel. Dazu gibts scheinbar Aufstriche. Bei uns hatte sich die Kellnerin nochmal versichert, ob wir beide vegan sind und uns dann anstatt des Aufstrichs Oliven hingestellt. Finde es sehr schön, dass darauf Rücksicht genommen wurde. Zu trinken hatten wir eine Cranberry-Himbeeren Limonade, diese war auch sehr lecker.

Sehr schöne und angenehme Location. Wir waren dort zum Frühstück. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit aus der Karte zu bestellen oder am Buffet uns zu bedienen. Buffet war abwechslungsreich und hat lecker geschmeckt.

Zuvorkommender, aufmerksamer Service. Sehr leckeres Essen. Hatten in geselliger Runde einen sehr schönen, lustigen Abend.

Wir waren das erste Mal dort, aber bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. Das Restaurant war voll und trotz der Unterbesetzung der Mitarbeiter haben Sie es super gemacht. Weiter so!
