Delicious food served in a sports club building. Tastefully decorated. Excellent service. Everyone was super friendly and there was no long wait.

The service was very, very bad. We were a large group that had registered and we had to wait at least an hour for the first drink. I have never experienced such bad service anywhere before. The food was okay, which is a shame. I am very disappointed as our family doctor had highly recommended this restaurant and unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Very nice interior with plenty of space and adjoining rooms. We were there for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was almost full. However, we were still able to have a good conversation, and everyone had enough space at our table, which isn't always the case at Italian restaurants ;-) The pizza was delicious and fresh from the oven. You can even watch the pizza maker making it. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

Ugh, disgusting, I had 100 hairs in it

Disappointing – unfortunately not recommended We were really looking forward to a nice pizza night, but were unfortunately disappointed. The pizzas we ordered were completely tasteless – they lacked any salt or seasoning whatsoever. For the hefty price of €18 per pizza, we expected much more. The drinks were also disappointing. The value for money is simply not there. It's a shame; we won't be back.

I was truly shocked. The pizza had absolutely no flavor – no salt, no seasoning whatsoever, just bland. For the price, I expected much more. But things got really infuriating with the antipasti: the bread, which is usually served free everywhere, was charged at an unbelievable €7.50 per portion. Absolutely outrageous! I've never experienced anything like it. This was definitely my last visit. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.

Some of the food was very tasty. The pizza was excellent, the lasagna average, but the pasta with salmon was unfortunately rather disappointing – it was swimming in oil. The entrance is a bit hard to find, as are the restrooms.

Great class! For me, the parmesan spaghetti is one of the top three in Stuttgart. The pizzas are also a culinary delight. The whole thing is rounded off with a great service team and contemporary interior.

Cozy atmosphere with a view of the sports field! Super nice staff. The food wasn't just a visual highlight. The taste is exactly what makes it a real Italian. You can also watch a football game if you sit by the window. Any time!

Al Campo is our regular restaurant because we like the atmosphere, the service is friendly and we like the food. For us, al Campo is the feel-good factor at the end of the day.

We couldn't reserve seats in advance because we couldn't reach anyone by phone during restaurant hours, so we had to wait for a seat. Since the waiting time was a little longer than expected, we were given a Prosecco on the house. Once we had a seat, the waiting time was normal. The pizza was very tasty and the wine was also very good

The food is great and extremely tasty. The service is very accommodating. Somehow it's funny to feast yourself and watch others play sports through the view of the sports field.

We love the spaghetti in a parmesan loaf. The pizzas are of course also very tasty 😋. Great for sitting outside in summer.

Family run restaurant. One of the best Italians. Large repertoire of changing recipes. The taste is always at the highest level. Service is always very hospitable and there is always a feeling of welcome and familiarity. The pizza has just the right consistency, airy, crispy and tasty. Full recommendation!!!

Always a pleasure! We have been coming here with the family for many years and are always amazed at how delicious the food is. From the antipasti to the pizzas and pasta. Al Campo da Gio is constantly coming up with something new. I don't know of any comparable restaurant that serves such good food. Compared to other restaurants, the prices are completely legitimate and justified. If anyone complains about prices, they can go to McDonalds and have a look around. Thank you so much for being here! We'll be back!!

What a great restaurant! Very nice and courteous staff! We were there on April 7th. with 4 people for dinner at Al Campo da Gio. Very good price/performance ratio, the portions were also sufficient, the antipasti plates were unusual and the main course was a delight! We will come again!

Unfortunately not so good anymore, now 08/15 handling. Pretty impersonal service without any emotion... and the food has also become significantly worse. Pasta dishes in cold plates, meat with a strange consistency, and pizza that was much better. Prices are ok. Overall everything is just “ok”. I have the impression that the club members are “taken along” here, no additional guests are necessary. Too bad...

We have been regular birthday guests for many years. So far we have always been very satisfied - unfortunately I can't say that this time. Yes, it can happen that a reservation goes wrong - we still got a place. We had 2 birthdays to celebrate. In previous years, congratulations were given or dessert was served for those celebrating their anniversary. Unfortunately nothing at all, despite the flowers that cannot be overlooked. The food was good, but the price-quantity ratio has deteriorated extremely in recent years. The seafood salad for €14 contained just half a scallop. The tomato salad for a whopping €9 consisted of a medium-sized tomato. Unfortunately, that's where the fun ends. The pizza was good, even if the toppings were significantly reduced. The eggplant casserole, which is labeled as an antipasti, was previously a main course for women, but unfortunately that was no longer mentioned. Overall, I am very disappointed because a restaurant at a sports facility in particular has to expect hungry guests and not all visitors eat pasta or pizza. We will no longer celebrate our family celebrations here.

Top service. We often order pizza and then pick it up. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the “Tiramisu”. Biscuit with cream and chocolate powder :( for €6.50...

Great restaurant, very family friendly !

Pizza calzone wasn't cooked through inside. Other pizzas were partly badly burnt. Artichokes were so fibrous that you couldn't bite them.

The food is very good. The service is very friendly and quick and the decor is also very comfortable. What you wouldn't necessarily expect from a restaurant at a sports field.

Waren mit mehreren Personen dort eingeladen. Die Essen, die ich näher beurteilen kann, waren es Wert dort hinzugehen. Der Parkplatz, für Sportler und Gäste, ist absolut nicht ausreichend.

Wer alte italienische Hausmannskost sucht ist hier meiner Meinung nach nicht richtig. Wer aber eine moderne italienische Küche sucht, ist hier am richtigen Ort, Produkte: der italienische Mozzarella Käse ein Gedicht. Roastbeef Vorspeise super lecker..... top. Der Pizzaofen gibt ein Plus dazu, schönes Ambiente, Personal sehr freundlich.

Freundlich, gute Stimmung und sehr gutes Essen. Unser Familienfest hätte nicht besser sein können. Danke!

Wunder schöner lokal sehr leckar es war richtig voll aber essen kam trotzdem sehr zeit nah die pizza ist sehr stark aber wer Nudel liebt ist hir auch richtig werde bestimmt wider ein besuch dort machen.......

Sehr schönes Sportlokal. Gute italienische Küche. Nicht jeder des Service Personal spricht oder versteht Deutsch. Das erschwert die Bestellungen. Etwas mehr Freundlichkeit würde auch nicht schaden.

Ich kenne Ihr Resturant nun schon eine Weile und war auch immer sehr zufrieden. Nun zogen die Preise in der letzten Zeit, aufgrund der globalen Situation verständlicherweise an. Leider hat inzischen aber die Servicequalität des Personals dafür stark nachgelassen.

Schönes Restaurant von Wald umgeben, dennoch sehr gute Anfahrts- und Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Das Thunfisch Carpaccio hatte ein super Dressing und die Pizza im Hauptgang hatte neben dem sehr guten Geschmack auch einen exzellenten Teig. Zusätzlich gab es Antipasti und Grappa aufs Haus. Wir waren zu dritt dort und waren alle hoch zufrieden. Klare Empfehlung also für dieses wirklich sehr gute italienische Restaurant.

Essen war Lecker und Preise Stimmen!

Schönes, großes Restaurant. Essen manchmal gut und manchal auch nur ok. Service meist eher unaufmerksam, manchmal auch arrogant - mann muss oftmal schon laut rufen um etwas bestellen zu können. Pamemesankäse zu den Spagetti muss man anfordern, sonst gibt‘s keinen. Wenn man zahlen will muss man an der Kasse anstehen. Das kann dann schon mal gut 10 Minuten dauern, wenn zum Beispiel die einzige Person, die kassieren darf gerade sich mit anderen Gästen an deren Tisch verquatscht hat.

Das ist ein sehr schönes Lokal. Ich habe dort im größeren Kreis gefeiert und bin sehr zufrieden. Alles hat super geklappt. Gerne wieder.

Die Pizza war von unten verbrannt und innen eher roh...zu heiß der Ofen für meinen Geschmack...es dauerte ewig und es wurde viel vergessen. Toiletten nutzt man vom Sportverein. Schön italienisch ist anders!!
