Nice meal! Unfortunately, we later saw that all dishes also came with salad. We did not receive this, which is a shame 🥹 otherwise nice tent and nice staff.

It was my second time in the Königsgarten, but probably not again... It's not the food, because the concept and the food were and are really TOP!!! Worth an experience. It was more about the service. You were hardly noticed as a guest. People looked in our direction, but no one came to the table to ask if we would like something more to drink etc... I thought it was a real shame, as there were enough staff on site both times. The service can therefore be improved and should really work on asking more often... because when the boss is there, she often asked if you wanted anything else etc... It's a real shame...

Friendly staff often appear rushed rather than attentive to the guest. The food is very meat-heavy and that also determines the customer base. The hot stone means that the guests' clothes no longer smell like royalty after visiting the King's Garden. The high noise level has an even greater negative impact on the enjoyment of eating. This should definitely be worked on.

Had a 400g rump steak from Hotstone. If desired, lamb's lettuce with cherry tomatoes and some pesto. Very cool that you can put together your own dish without any problems. Even though it was relatively full, the food came after about 20 minutes. I can definitely recommend the wheat beer, but the steak lacked the typical beef flavor. Very unfortunate. My wife's burger with potatoes was great, you can't fault it. I'll try the sirloin steak next time, otherwise I'd prefer the burgers. All in all, we had a really nice evening, which is why it's almost 5 stars.

I've been a customer of the restaurant many times and I enjoyed every time. Food and manager are great, but the last time the waiter - an average age man with a beard and glasses, was rude and neglecting (our meals came at least 20 minutes late). Also, his demeanor was impolite, which ruined our lunch :( not going there as long as he works there.

Top recommendation for anyone who wants to eat something different than boring dishes. This restaurant is located directly on Kermisdahl and offers unusual burger variations as well as meat from a hot stone with appropriate salad and fries side dishes. The sauces for the dishes are perfectly tailored to the dish. If you wish, you can also get an extra sauce that is very spicy. In our case she had over a million Scovilles. - but don't worry, this is just optional. Prices are okay, the service is friendly and very fast. There is even vegetarian food for those who used to have constant bad luck hunting. The restaurant is in a modern Italian style, open, bright and friendly. The toilets are clean. All in all, a very good restaurant that is impressive. Prices are okay.

Disaster… Service overwhelmed. After 2.5 hours we subtly asked where our food was. Info.. sorry was forgotten! That doesn't work at all!!! I canceled my meal immediately. The others then ate. Steak on a hot stone, you have to eat very quickly, otherwise you have leather on a stone. Portions, well. Information the food was ok. Conclusion: once and never again!!

Very nice location, the hot stone is legendary, and the burgers are also elaborate and delicious. Outdoor area in summer, otherwise large interior, similar to a winter garden.

We were hungry and came across this excellent restaurant on the way. Delicious tomato-basil soup and curry-coconut soup with shrimp. We will definitely have an extensive meal here sometime.

I had dinner with my husband today! What can I say? It was a really great experience 🥰 The food was a 12/10 🙌🏼 sooooo delicious!!! I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The service was very attentive. Thank you for the lovely evening, next time we'll come with the children, they'll go crazy 🙃

A very nice restaurant. Everything was very clean and really comfortable. We had the feta pan as a starter. Very good with delicious, balanced spices. There was also salad and bread. The main course was the Bacon Onion Burger. Simply delicious. Delicious sauce, smoky bacon and caramelized onions. The meat is perfectly medium. That wasn't the last visit.

Sat on the terrace for soup and a drink. Nice, cozy place in a nice, quiet spot just outside the center. Friendly service. Well prepared, clearly home-made soup, the asparagus soup was fine but could perhaps have used a little less salt.

Located on a stream. Terrace outside was large but cozy. Received a table inside the conservatory. Didn't make a reservation but the staff was super friendly. Amazing view. Beer and wine nice and cold. Fast and friendly service. Starter....bread basket with dip and Tiger shrimps with spring onion and tomato. Delicious! Then the Senorita steak....200 grams per person on a hot stone! Continue baking at the table yourself. Add 3 sauces. Fries and salad in large portions! What a delicious, tender steak they serve here!!!! Irish coffee was piping hot. Really a 10 for everything!!!

We not only had a delicious but also enjoyable meal there. Nice restaurant, atmospheric, good seats, plenty of choice. Smooth operation. The terrace looks so great with a beautiful view that we decided to go back to this nice restaurant when the weather is nice.

Our first visit, without a reservation, even though the restaurant was fully booked we got a seat, really great. We were warmly welcomed and served, we decided on the Hot Stone Seniora. We immediately received the stone with steak, the salad and the fries were a long time coming. We would have preferred to sit and talk for a bit first, probably because we didn't have a reservation. Wonderful view with winter garden character of the illuminated castle. Simply top salad, delicious fries and a fantastic steak. The idea of ​​frying this yourself is simply brilliant. We recommend. Everything is explained in detail in the menu. We have to deduct one star because it was so unpleasantly loud that we skipped dessert and left the restaurant early. We'll definitely be back, just not at peak times.

All the waitresses were really very nice. What has often bothered me about the Königsgarten, whether in the afternoon or evening (even if it is not full): it is always very loud. Probably reinforced by the glazing of the winter garden (although the winter garden itself is very beautiful). It's also a little too rustic and busy for me, but maybe that's exactly what many people find very rustic and expect when they go to a restaurant for steaks & burgers :) The food itself was good, even as a vegetarian I was able to find a few things (unfortunately not always the case in a steak & burger restaurant). I just lacked a little creativity with my veggie order, e.g. the mixed salad was very basic for its price; But overall I/we were satisfied :)

On February 2nd the two of us had dinner. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy. We had a voucher and decided to redeem it. When we sat down, a waitress immediately came with the menus and quickly brought us our drinks. However, it took about 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Nobody asked in between if everything was okay. As soon as we finished our meal, our plates were immediately put away without us being asked. There was no music playing either, only one employee's cell phone and the loud chatter of other employees could be heard. It was also quiet at other tables. I've never seen plates stacked while you're still eating. Maybe the service staff should be a little more attentive. Our last beer was under the tap, so we decided to leave the restaurant early. My meal cost just under €30, including €20 for a piece of meat that we had to fry ourselves at the table. The menu hasn't changed since it opened, which is disappointing. We then went to another restaurant to enjoy our evening as we had something to celebrate.

The fries were really perfect. Finally enough salt on the fries. The burger was also great, but unfortunately it wasn't hot anymore. Rather lukewarm. Nevertheless, we both enjoyed it very much.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Weihnachtsfeier vor Ort. Trotz ausverkauften Haus, wurden Getränke und auch das Essen (alle heißer Stein) sehr zügig gebracht! Toll!

We hadden niet gereserveerd en het zat helemaal vol, gelukkig had er iemand afgebeld en konden wij toch plaats nemen aan een heerlijk ruime tafel. Personeel erg vriendelijk en het eten was geweldig lekker vooral de Burgers waren Subliem een echte aanrader van heerlijk grofgemalen en op verzoek medium gegrild. De prijzen waren niet hoog voor de kwaliteit die je geserveerd krijg. Wij zullen hier zeker weer naar toe gaan als we in de buurt zijn.

Die Steaks sind lecker. Die Bratkartoffeln sind zwar nicht die besten, die ich je gegessen habe, aber immernoch im oberen Bereich anzusiedeln (4 von 5 Sternen). Der Preis ist völlig angemessen, allerdings keineswegs günstig. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam, nett und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine sehr positive Erfahrung.

Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten wurde uns ein Tisch angeboten. Das heiße Stein Erlebnis war unglaublich und das Fleisch war hervorragend.

Alles in Ordnung. Ein wenig laut wenn es voll ist aber das lässt sich nicht ändern. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gestern mal wieder im Königsgarten, war wie immer perfekt. Der beste Aperol Spritz weit und breit, Fleisch, Fisch oder Scampis zum selber Brutzeln auf heißem Stein, leckere Beilagen, tolle Burger ..., schönes Ambiente, bei warmem Wetter auch draußen, Reservierung empfehlenswert. Flotte und freundliche Bedienung, es ist immer gut besucht.

Für mich eines, wenn nicht das beste Restaurant in Kleve! Ich bin immer wieder gerne hier, und wurde noch nie enttäuscht.

Steak was rubbish and tasteless but my wife really liked the schnitzel.

Essen vom heißen Stein hat schon was. Nur beim Thunfisch beachten, dass die Bereitung länger braucht. Das heißt wir mussten ziemlich lange auf unserer Essen warten. Es wäre gut wenn man die Gäste darüber vorab informiert. Aber es war sehr alles lecker.
