Nice restaurant, great food, friendly service. The restaurant has a very cozy interior, with a partially open kitchen. The outdoor terrace, located at a busy intersection, was expanded to include an extension, similar to a winter garden. In both areas you feel comfortable and friendly. The food is good. You can put together your own salad at the open and extensive salad bar. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not offer any alternatives for vegetarians. Even if it is a steakhouse, it would be desirable in this day and age. The service is very attentive and friendly.

We visited the restaurant with a larger group and everyone in the group was very satisfied. The grill dishes were well prepared and the meat was consistently juicy. The pork fillets we ordered were still delicately pink and the steaks were cooked to the requested degree of doneness. All dishes included salads from a salad buffet. I always find this very convenient because I'm picky when it comes to salads and it gives me the opportunity to only take what I want. The restaurant is very large and very busy on weekends. I therefore recommend making a reservation in good time, especially if there are more than 2 guests. The cellars are friendly and we were served quickly throughout. Even with 9 meals ordered, everything arrived hot at the same time. I only deducted one star for the service because after we had finished eating, we realized that the restaurant needed the table and so they packaged it in a joking but understandable way that you didn't have to sit around.

Ik ben al 10~tallen malen hier met mijn vriendin geweest. Het is ALTIJD goed hier. Nooit meegemaakt dat we wat te klagen hadden. Wel reserveren vooraf. In de zomer buitenterras nemen.

We were curious whether El Poncho would be better than El Toro. After all, on behalf of corpses, and in Kranenburg it was becoming increasingly busy. The food was fine. Don't expect culinary delights, but for the price you pay you can't really say anything about it. We had a dish with a lot of meat, but the ratio of meat to mushrooms was a bit off. "Obert, there is mold on my meat." Service, on the other hand, was great. The gentlemen were very friendly and having two dogs, one of which still needs to learn how to eat out, was no problem. Don't expect idyllic scenes and a terrace with a beautiful view: peace and quiet is sometimes hard to find along the main road to Emmerich near a traffic light. All in all, our experiment to leave El Toro in Kranenburg for what it was and drive towards Kleve was not a negative one, but the extra travel time is too much for us to make this our new permanent spot.

Nice place, unfortunately my special request couldn't be implemented but food It was still very tasty.

We went here on a Saturday so it was very busy so we had to wait longer for our food. However, the wait was worth it. The steak was excellent and we really liked the service too. What I find a bit of a shame is that there are no dishes with salad. E.g. Caesar salad or salad with strips of beef fillet.

The outside looks old and run down, but once inside it's a different story. The service is friendly, fun and pleasant. The decoration also feels Mediterranean. The food is not really a tour de force, but simply tasty and perfectly prepared. We sat outside on the terrace near the advertising board and it could use cleaning because the dust and cobwebs were hanging on it and that is not nice food and in general it could be cleaned a little better. Everything else is great

We eat here often. And for good reason. Food is good, service is helpful and funny and the people around you are happy guests. The only thing I miss is that they ask how you want your steak. But yes, for the rest great restaurant.

Hello everyone, once again on the way to dinner today I was at El Ponco and ordered medaillons Hawaii with fried potatoes. The meat was quite good, not too tough and not too dry, the homemade hollondaise was delicious. Fried potatoes could be crispier for my personal taste. The service is super funny, cool sayings you have to get along with but I like it a lot. Overall I give it a 7.8/10

We found a very good steak house on the outskirts of Kleve. We also ate a delicious starter dish (salmon on toast). The main course was very good. The selection is large. The entire team is in a good mood. Highly recommended.

My visit to El Poncho Steakhouse was an overall pleasant experience. I opted for the gourmet plate, which had an impressive selection of different meats. Each portion was deliciously prepared and reflected the quality of the ingredients. The salad from the buffet was also fresh and varied, so there was something for every taste. Although there was a small incident with an incorrectly taken order, this was resolved quickly and professionally. The staff were friendly and sincerely apologized for the mistake, which only added to the positive impression of the restaurant overall. The atmosphere at El Poncho was cozy and welcoming, and I would definitely recommend this steakhouse for a relaxed evening with good food and friendly service to visit.

Would recommend- found this place after trying 4 other restaurants in the area which were all rubbish! The German waiter was very helpful and fun, helping to create a nice atmosphere, and in general the service was very quick. There is a large selection of food at reasonable prices. Both our meals were delicious and large quantities but remember - you must only visit the salad bar once 😉

Went there for dinner with my elderly mother. Ober was very nice to her, with a dry, dark sense of humor, which I really appreciate! Life is serious enough! Food was TOP in terms of price and quality! We will definitely come back!

Update from 2024: even after several years, we still enjoy coming here to eat. Above all, the gentleman with the red suspenders is always a highlight for us, friendly, quick and absolutely service-oriented. Our children especially love the salad buffet - we especially love the charming service, the quick service and the delicious steaks. 2020: We are always very satisfied here. Quick drinks, good food and super friendly and funny staff. You are also always welcome here with children. Special requests are no problem. It's better to make a reservation, as it is often full, especially in the evenings.

We were actually regulars. Food great as always. BUT Since the waiters were "always trying hard" on the last visits and you almost had to beg for drinks several times, you should consider bringing the drinks with you in advance at the gas station opposite. Unfortunately, it's no longer the service you're used to from a steakhouse.

We hebben hier zaterdagavond gegeten. Het was erg vol, maar toch maakten ze een tafeltje vrij. Het eten was prima, ook de saladebar was lekker. Ik vond het echter wel vrij prijzige, we waren € 80 kwijt met z'n 2-en, en hadden geen hoofd of nagerecht. 2 drankjes tijdens het eten, en koffie/thee na het eten. Voor Duitse begrippen vond ik dat vrij prijzig, normaliter eten we ergens en zijn we tussen de 50-60 kwijt voor een vergelijkbaar restaurant. Het ging wel erg snel, en de bediening was prima.

We had lunch at El Poncho and ate a mushroom rump steak and a fillet steak with various side dishes. The steaks were great, the side dishes were tasty and fresh, only the hollandaise sauce was unfortunately canned. The service may be on the casual side but extremely attentive and quick. Only the ambience wasn't very appealing, rather outdated and didn't seem valuable either.

At around 5 p.m. we got a place for two without a reservation, very friendly service that took care of the guests, everything was great, we'd be happy to come back.

We have been eating at Milo's for years and are as enthusiastic as we were on the first day. Everything was super fresh and deliciously prepared. Price performance simply unbeatable. Service/operation perfect. Thank you and see you again tonight!!!

Went here for dinner on recommendation. Unfortunately, but not for us anymore. Unfriendly staff. meat tasted like burnt meat. Beef kebab was overcooked. Cold plates, which means food cools down quickly. Pre-baked calambert, tasted of nothing. So no, we won't be coming anymore.

Fantastisches Essen. Dieses wurde allerdings noch getoppt von unserer Bedienung. Das hatte was von Stand-Up Comedy. Vielen Dank!

Heerlijk eten en goede prijzen!

Es gibt kein einziges vegetarisches Gericht auf der Karte. Im der heutigen Zeit ein "no go". Sehr schade! Je nachdem an welchen Kellner man gerät, sind diese zum Teil unfreundlich, genervt und nicht sehr entgegen kommend. Ein Lob geht allerdings an den Kellner Thomas, der ist top....

Es war mal wieder super lecker. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Ganz besonders erwähnen möchte ich nochmals den aussergewòhnlich tollen Service, sehr aufmerksam und absolut Gast orientiert. Immer wieder gerne!

De Bediening was niet zo blij dat wij om 2 uur kwamen maar het Eten was weer super...

Wir kommen immer gerne wieder hierher, das Fleisch frisch vom Holzkohlegrill, der Service mit Charm und Witz, das Ambiente gemütlich und privat! Die Preise sind völlig angemessen.

Wir waren gerade dort zum essen. Alle Tisch waren reserviert, wir wurden auf die überdachte Außenterrasse verfrachtet, es war sehr kalt dort. Wir hatten keinen Heizstrahler. Es haben sich 3 "Tische" beschwert und auch umgesetzt. Bedienung war flott mit Getränken. Essensbestellung dauerte sehr lange, alle die nach uns kamen, wurden zuerst bedient, wir warteten in etwa 1 Stunde. Bekamen dementsprechend spät das Essen. An der Salatbar war es sehr eklig, ein Gast hat im Maissalat ein großes Pflaster verloren, es wurde nicht nach geschaut 🤢. Aufgefüllt wurde ebenso nicht. Beim Salat holen sah ich, das die reservierten Tische noch immer frei waren. Nach dem Essen ebenso leer, beim verlassen auch leer. Darüber hab ich mich doch sehr geärgert, da ich nur ein T-Shirt anhatte. Geröstete Zwiebeln zum Bauernteller schmeckten nicht. Beim Grillteller war das Fleisch leicht angebrannt. Fritten waren nix, der Djuvecreis, Frikadelle und Cevapcici war sehr lecker.

Sehr gutes Essen, außerordentlich nettes Personal und ein angenehmes Ambiente. Sehr gerne immer wieder...

Gisteren ben ik hier voor het eerst geweest, maar was zeker niet de laatste keer. Dat was één van de beste steaks die ik in mijn leven heb gehad. En ik ben heel kritisch, dus dat zeg ik niet zomaar. Aanrader!

Wir wollten für Samstag, 11.11.23 um 18 Uhr ei N Tisxh für 4 Personen reservieren. War alles belegt und wir haben dann ein Tisch um 19.15 Uhr bekommen. Wurden wie immer nett und mit coolen Sprüchen empfangen. Aber fast 1,5 Stunden auf das Essen warten, geht gar nicht. Dem Kellner ein Kompliment, er hatte zwischendurch immer einen Spruch bei der Getränkebestellung drauf und hat sich mehrfach entschuldigt! Qualität war aber wie immer gut.

Es lecker kann es nur entfernen Bei mir fehlte die Mittagskarte wo ich allerdings sagen muss das kann passieren

Superleuk restaurant. Een aantal van de bediening spreken en Duits en Nederlands. Fantastische stukken vlees worden geserveerd. Hoop hier nog vaak terug te komen!

Waren mit einer Gruppe von 5 Personen. Alle waren mit ihrem Essen zufrieden. Der Service war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier wird mit Witz und Charme serviert. Es ist besser vorher zu reservieren, dort ist immer viel los. Was einfach für das gute Essen und dem tollen, gut organisierten Service spricht. Wir können diese Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Hier kunt u met een gerust hart gaan eten, ook wij waren blij verrast en de kwaliteit was dan ook erg goed, erg vriendelijk personeel wat overigens ook Nederlands spreekt. Een grapje hier en daar buiten het goede advies maakte de sfeer compleet, nette schone zaak waar je heerlijk kunt eten voor een leuke betaalbare prijs. Hou je van heerlijk gegrild vlees, bief of mixed grill ,snitzel, of spies, zeker gaan.. u zult er geen spijt van krijgen.. uiteraard hebben ze ook voor bijv de kleine eters bijv de gewone kroket met friet..

Hallo waren im El Poncho Essen hatten einen sehr netten Kellner aus Kleve .Essen top.

Zum ersten Mal hier gewesen, aber ganz bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal ! Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend von der Reservierung bis zur Abrechnung. Das Essen kam recht schnell, und reichlich. Wir waren zu viert, davon zwei Frauen, und alle waren wir nicht nur zufrieden, sondern schlichtweg begeistert! Egal, ob Steaks, Medaillons oder Schnitzel, und ebenso alle Beilagen waren spitze!!! Zu guter Letzt muss auch die Sauberkeit, auch und besonders der Sanitäranlagen, erwähnt werden. Besser geht's fast nicht! Alles in allem ein perfekter Abschluss des Wochenendes. Danke !!!

Een erg lekkere schnitzel gegeten, voor herhaling vatbaar. Het restaurant zat vrij vol, een goed teken. Verstandig om vooraf te reserveren.

Wij komen hier elke week woensdag vanuit Amsterdam, eigenaar en personeel fantastische lieve mensen. Alles op de kaart van wat wij al hebben gegeten, en dat is al bijna allles, is super goed. Kwaliteit altijd gegarandeerd, en constant. Een aanrader voor iedereen als je in de buurt bent. En zeker het omrijden waard
