Super tasty food. Asparagus with salmon. Friendly service. Worth repeating. Rooms I don't know?

We had two single rooms, everything was clean, bright, and welcoming. One single room had a large bathroom and a window. The TV had few channels, including no ARD. I didn't ask, which wasn't important for the two nights. The location is extremely good, with Zwillbrocker Venn within walking distance. The food, breakfast with homemade bread, coffee, and cake, including homemade pastries, was very good. The staff is very friendly, and guests felt very welcome.

This beautiful hotel is located in the middle of the countryside close to the Dutch border. The rooms are large enough, the beds are very good and there is a mosquito net on one side of the window. We were a cycling group of 6 people and checking in using a code was really uncomplicated. Our food came at the same time and everyone enjoyed it. The crowning glory was the excellent breakfast. All in all, highly recommended.

Popular terrace for motorcycle tourers for a stopover, ample parking, large terrace, very friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices and pin payment possible.

On the terrace in the sun, what could go wrong, just nothing. Delicious coffee and friendly staff. Food, drinks, the choice is huge. Also from the terrace you can look at a beautiful building and a church that you can view. Take a detour to the lake, where flamingos nest. There are plenty of bicycle and car parking spaces, making it a great base.

We stayed here for a night and it was really great! The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was also great – generous portions, super tasty and prepared with care. The service was friendly and pleasant, which made it perfect. All in all a very nice experience. Definitely a place we would like to come back to!

We were there for lunch and everything was wonderful. We had very good asparagus and the children liked it too. What stood out was the extremely friendly lady (short blonde hair, glasses) who served us!

Went here spontaneously by bike. With our completely hypoglycemic daughter 😅 We were very lovingly ❤️ taken care of. Nice people, delicious food. Thank you very much for that👍. Feel free to come by “scheduled” 😉

The room was okay, but the TV 📺 was old and only had a few unimportant programs. No WiFi and cell phone reception wasn't always available either. The service in the restaurant was great and very friendly. The breakfast was very tasty 😋 and lovingly designed. Overall, we had a wonderful, sunny stay in the Zwillbroker Fenn.

We were only there to have a coffee and a pastry. Highly recommended!

Beautifully situated on the edge of Zwillbrocker fens. Extensive breakfast buffet, delicious pastries and always good food. Friendly staff.

Nice starting point to go for a walk and taste the homemade cake at the end.

After a walk in the Zwillbrocker Venn, we were able to enjoy the sunny autumn day with delicious homemade cakes and good coffee. Friendly and quick service!

10/10 the magnificent restaurant

End of September 2024. Although the restaurant was full, 2 tables were set for us and another group in an adjacent room. Delicious (vegetarian) meal. The salad with the schnitzels was especially delicious. Fast and friendly employees. Neat toilets on the ground floor.

Onlangs had ik het genoegen om restaurant Kloppendiek in Zwillbrock te bezoeken, uitgenodigd door goede vrienden. Het was een ervaring die ik graag met anderen wil delen. Bij binnenkomst werden we verwelkomd door een warme en gezellige sfeer. De inrichting van het restaurant is smaakvol en nodigt uit tot een ontspannen avond. De ambiance is perfect voor zowel een romantisch diner als een gezellige avond met vrienden of familie. Het voorgerecht was werkelijk uitstekend. De presentatie was mooi en de smaken waren perfect in balans. Elk gerecht leek met zorg en aandacht te zijn bereid, wat de kwaliteit van de ingrediënten benadrukte. Dit gaf ons meteen een goed gevoel over wat nog komen ging. Het hoofdgerecht stelde niet teleur; het was evenzo voortreffelijk. De keuze op het menu was divers, waardoor er voor ieder wat wils was. De gerechten waren niet alleen smakelijk, maar ook goed gepresenteerd, wat bijdroeg aan de algehele eetervaring. De bijgerechten waren voldoende en smakelijk, wat altijd een pluspunt is bij een diner. Ze vulden de hoofdgerechten perfect aan zonder te overweldigen, waardoor elke hap genotvol was. Conclusie Al met al was ons bezoek aan Kloppendiek een zeer positieve ervaring. De combinatie van heerlijke gerechten, vriendelijke service en een uitnodigende sfeer maakt dit restaurant zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Ik kijk ernaar uit om terug te keren en opnieuw te genieten van alles wat ze te bieden hebben.

Unfortunately the food was very bad. The side salad was still very good. The turkey schnitzel was extremely dry, so dry that you shouldn't have eaten it. Croquettes were standard from the freezer, the chanterelles (approx. 3-4) were probably not fresh and were swimming in a bland sauce...to be honest you can't offer something like that...it wasn't cheap either. The shop was also pretty empty, which is a shame...

Nice restaurant on the Zwillbrocker Venn. From here you can go on beautiful bike tours and walks 👍... Since we only took a break, I can't rate the rooms 🤷‍♂️.

Ended up on the terrace on a beautiful sunny day It was busy and it seemed chaotic, the Leading lady was very present and could be heard everywhere on the terrace. She had good control over the matter. I ate a schnitzel there which was okay. I think the salad had half a bottle of dressing on it...no more Kloppendiek for me for the time being.

An zwei Abenden haben wir hier hervorragend gegessen. Freundliche Bedienung (mindestens zweisprachig) und gutes Preis–Leistung–Verhältnis. Tischreservierung ist empfohlen, wobei wir mitbekommen haben, dass für Hotelgäste immer ein Tisch verfügbar sei.

It's a good place to relax after a walk or concert. You will be helped fairly quickly, but unfortunately it took a very long time for the cappuccinos to be delivered.

We were just there as a family with two children after a Sunday walk. The waitress seemed pretty tense when we arrived and hardly spoke any German. Food was consistently improved. Smoked salmon on leaf lettuce was served with coleslaw and two other ready-made salad mixes from the supermarket. Add two slices of rolled cheese. Didn't work at all. This combo was new to me. My wife was served her soup in a mason jar. The schnitzel was pure pressed meat and the kids only ate the fries. You didn't like the meat. We remembered it differently. A pity. We agreed: next time we'll stop somewhere else. For decency, I gave a cash tip of €5. Not even a thank you.

The terrace is always very inviting. And the food was really very good. A great breakfast.

Wir haben hier bereits mehrfach Rast gemacht auf Radtouren und genossen hervorragendes Essen mit ideenreichen Kombinationen. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich den Flamingo-Burger. Nein, hierfür werden keine dieser Vögel geschlachtet - aber er ist trotzdem sensationell.

Een nachtje in hotel Kloppendiek. Ziet er binnen beetje uit als het hotel van Falty Towers (trapje op, trapje af, treetje op, treetje af). Kamers goed en schoon, niet overdreven luxe.

Eher zufällige Übernachtung an der Grenze. Angenehme Lage und Zimmer. Ausgefeiltes Hygienekonzept. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit alter Balkendecke, ausgezeichnete freundliche Service-Mitarbeiter, Preis-/Leistung top. Sensationelles Rumpsteak mit Pfifferlingen! Endlich mal jemand, der a point wie gewünscht grillt. Auch viele niederländische Gäste; sie werden wissen warum. Leider wegen des Wetters konnte der tolle Biergarten nur von innen bewundert werden, gern bei anderer Gelegenheit.
