Gasthaus Bußmann in Vreden

Good food—what more could a guest want? Service and ambiance are two brothers in this lovely tavern.

We came all the way from Münster for dinner today. My rump steak with pepper sauce was really good, as was the Herrencreme. See you again soon...

Vreden lit up and the Bussmann family prepared a fantastic 4-course candlelight dinner for us. Simply cozy and delicious.

The food was delicious (schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms, salad, and fries), and the service was very friendly and prompt, even though it was almost closing time! The prices are a bit high for my liking, but you have a choice, as the menu is posted at the entrance, and there were no other restaurants serving lunch in Vreden at that time (after 1:00 p.m. on Sundays).

The staff is extremely unfriendly. We were ignored and greeted with the words "It's taking a while." And after 10 minutes of no attention, we left.

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because, firstly, the manager greeted us very rudely. We had to wait a long time for the menu and then left without ordering anything. Very rude, I haven't experienced anything like that in a long time. 😡😤

The food was once again excellent. Onion soup for starters and steak with Scottish peppercorn sauce for the main course.

Very nice service. We had to wait a long time for our food and were then very disappointed. Ragout was very salty, almost oversalted. Veal schnitzel was okay. Beef tongue too. The rum steak was thoroughly fried and chewy. When we ordered we didn't even ask how we wanted it. And the portions were very small!!! We expected more for the prices. As well as….

Immer wieder ein tolles Gasthaus 👍

We went out to eat and enjoyed the chanterelles in a variety of variations! Delicious! The service was warm and very attentive, making you feel comfortable. And to top it all off, we ate a super delicious men's cream. Yummy!

Uns hat es sehr lecker geschmeckt, die Bedienung waren auch sehr gut, vielen Dank dafür. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir geben gerne für das Essen, für den Service und fürs Ambiente 5 Sterne. Alles nur gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Neu auf der Karte als Vorspeise - gratinierte Jakobsmuscheln in einer traumhaft leckeren Soße. Einfach nur lecker.

Immer gut und lecker. Eigentümers und personal sind auch sehr nett und freundlich. Wir kommen immer gerne und kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Freundlich, flexibel und...Kindfreundliches Gasthaus. Sehr zu empfehlen, mit gut Bürgerliche Küche und schöne, einfache, Weine. Für Mittaggstisch und Abendessen.... Dazu werden Holländer hier gerne bedient....auch während der Corona-'Krise'..

wir waren mit dem Stammtisch hier, es war schon alles in Ordnung, nur die Preise waren etwas hoch, Essen war in Ordnung

Heeft streekspecialiteiten naast de meer Franse keuken op de kaart. Plezierig geprijsd, ik geef de voorkeur aan een tafel in de Kneipe boven de "te grote" eetzaal..

Gute Küche zu abgerundeten Preisen, die Weinkarte ist OK, könnte aber sicherlich noch mehr hergeben. Die Entwicklung der letzten Jahren geht deutlich nach oben. Auch die Mittagskarte zum kleinen Preis ist für den, der zeitlichen gebunden ist hervorragend geeignet. Immer wieder gerne.
