What a brilliant restaurant experience We had dinner at Käthe with our two boys on Tuesday evening. We were greeted warmly and given the great cat table (really great 😉) Food was super tasty, really great vegetarian and vegan dishes Ambiance cozy Nice company, the cat Käthe at the table But the service was insane. Nice, considerate, simply better than anything I've experienced before. Thank you for this wonderful evening So great, the kids the next day really wanted to eat with you again. And what can I say? Great again. Thank you and see you next time, we're looking forward to it

I've eaten at Käthe's many times over the years and all I can say is that it was and is always great with you! ☺️ The food is always between good and very good, the menu is seasonally adapted and varied. The dishes are always something to behold! The wine selection should also be positively mentioned, there is always something there! The service at Käthe is friendly, competent and charming. Fast and courteous even when the house is full. The fact that the fluffy namesake comes over regularly for a cuddle rounds up the 5 stars! 😻 Until next time!

I can hardly describe my first visit to Restaurant Käthe with anything other than “excellence”. As soon as you entered the restaurant, the ambience conveyed an unmistakable coziness that warmly welcomed the guest. The library and the winter garden round off this with a modern, casual and very homely impression, so that you feel extremely comfortable throughout the restaurant. The service is extremely attentive, friendly and leaves nothing to be desired. Now to the actual highlight, the food. There are many creative and high-quality dishes on offer, some of which are complemented by seasonal products. The use of special combinations of ingredients and flavors stands out and completes the visit with a short culinary excursion into modern, hearty cuisine. Another commendable aspect is the abundance of vegetarian and vegan options for starters, main courses and desserts. The food is of the highest quality in terms of craftsmanship and taste and is truly an experience compared to restaurants in the same price range. In all aspects, Restaurant Käthe is a clear recommendation for special occasions or a cozy evening with family or friends and wonderful food.

We were here as part of a birthday group and wanted to have a relaxing evening before we continued. The service was great. Friendly, on the ball and with a saying on his lips. Was fun. The food was delicious and there was nothing wrong with the cocktails/drinks either. It was a bit of a shame that we had to leave the Käthe earlier that evening because (information from the employee) they closed earlier due to fewer guests Overall, however, worth a visit.

Wir waren in lockerer Runde zum Abendessen hier. Reservierung und Erinnerung an die Reservierung fand ich unkompliziert und hilfreich. Das Essen empfanden wir alle als ausgezeichnet, schon von der Optik her auf schönem Geschirr ein Genuss, war es geschmacklich wunderbar. Die Vegetarier unter uns waren froh, dass es für sie nicht nur irgendein Curry gab, sondern eine gute Auswahl. Die Portionen sind genau richtig von der Größe her, so dass man nicht gleich entmutigt ist, wenn der Teller kommt. Herausragend waren auch die Desserts, auch wieder optisch und geschmacklich. Das Personal ist kompetent, sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufgesetzt. Der Abend war für uns ein richtig toller Abschluss eines anstrengenden Tages und wir bedanken uns herzlich beim Team. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant weiter, obwohl wir es lieber als Geheimtipp für uns behalten würden ;).

A small, special restaurant with great food

The restaurant and winter garden are lovingly furnished. The food we consumed was tasty and prepared to a high standard. There are specialties here that you can't get in every restaurant. Very good breakfast buffet in a cozy atmosphere and friendly service We were there for the first time today for the Saturday breakfast buffet. We had reserved a table in the library, which I would recommend. The service was very friendly and warm and our jackets as fans of the Rostock Griffins meant we started talking (Restaurant Käthe is a sponsor). We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again.

I had a few long drinks here with a friend last week and it was so delicious. So I can only recommend Frozen Aperol and Lady Killer 😊👍🏻

We were in a larger group in the back area of ​​the HanseSail. It was pleasant and cozy there despite the heat outside. The service was quick, charming and focused on the guest. The menu alone was promising, not too many dishes, interesting variations without having to ponder what it was about. You can hardly decide. So the food was quite ok. The staff at Lemon Grass consists of 2 women and 1 man but only the 2 women served us and were nice and friendly. I read that the chef and the man were said to be very rude. When we paid it came up but not that way.but otherwise on the whole everything was ok

A super cozy little restaurant in the heart of KTV. The menu is lovingly put together, there is something for everyone and the dishes are a hit thanks to their sophisticated nuances. Good prices for really delicious dishes.I came from Greece and stayed in Lage for18 days.We visited many places nearby and ate at many restaurants.Käthe had the best dish I tried on my staying there.We were four colleagues and we all agreed the same.I tried the •Orangen Lacks• (salmon with risotto)! I highly recommend this restaurant and especially the dish. One of my colleagues said that only coffee was not so good. I don’t drink coffee so I don’t have an opinion on that.

Wir haben die Jugendweihe meines Sohnes im Café Käthe in den hinteren Räumlichkeiten gefeiert. Es war wunderschön! Die Bibliothek und die überdachte Terrasse sind der perfekte Ort für eine Feier mit max. 30 Personen. Wir fühlten uns ein bisschen wie im eigenen Wohnzimmer mit Garten, weil wir abgegrenzt waren von den anderen Gästen und ganz unser Ding machen konnten, inklusive Musik und tanzen. Das Buffet war großartig! Wahnsinnig lecker, frisch und eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl. David hat uns charmant umsorgt und uns all unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Herzlichen Dank an alle, die uns den Abend schön gemacht haben! Café Käthe als Ort für Feiern: sehr zu empfehlen!
