Went there with the family, the food came in stages, so eating together was out of the question. One round of drinks...unfortunately the second one didn't happen because the employees somehow didn't have a plan as to how to proceed. Communication with the employee was very difficult and the wrong food and drinks were brought. Everything is very uncoordinated. The food portion was also very manageable and the taste was not what was expected. All in all, we didn't leave satisfied...we paid a lot of money and everyone is of the same opinion...Not again!!!

Solid “Mexican” food. There are no surprises. Unfortunately, the service is not particularly fast and the beer is too expensive for 0.4l. After we had the beer and food, no one came to bring us another four. The taste was ok. But nothing you would recommend to anyone. The almond chicken portion was a little too small. And all in all, it had nothing to do with Mexican food.

We reserved a table for four people this evening and were all very enthusiastic about the delicious food! We had a cozy table outside and there were very good cocktails and all the dishes were extremely tasty. We'd love to come back 😋 It's best to reserve a table, especially on the weekend, but it's really worth it.

A great visit. We had our table right next to the play area, so the kids could have fun while we waited for the food. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. The toilets are clean and there is even a great changing table.

Ultimately it's a suburban restaurant and if the drive to Berlin is too far, take what's there. Solid dishes in the garden are pleasant and the service is attentive.

We really enjoy eating there. What has decreased a little is the cleanliness of the ambience outside & service is also a bit lacking...

Super tasty food and fast service

Very friendly staff, very accommodating. The food was prepared quickly and was also very pleasing to the eye. The music was a bit loud, but the operator (since my grandma and I were the only guests inside, everyone else was sitting outside in the heat) turned it down on his own initiative without us saying anything. Very, very considerate, we would be happy to come back.

Large garden, very busy even though it was the middle of the week.

Super fast and friendly service. Great ambience outside with a feel-good factor. Unfortunately, the portion sizes have decreased significantly on our last visits. Just 8 potato wedges and a mini bowl of coleslaw for the cactus burger. The one piece of chicken breast (there were two on the previous visit!) was the same amount of meat as the children's meal. Unfortunately, after our visit today, we don't know whether we will come back again.

The food was great! Unfortunately, we waited a little long for our food and generally received little service. I also had the feeling that the waiter expected more tips. Otherwise everything was great!

Great ambience! It's very cozy outside and even though it was crowded, it wasn't noisy. The food tasted very good and the service was very attentive and quick. There are few parking spaces available. We'd love to come back!

Very nice atmosphere with a large outdoor area, it also looks very comfortable inside. Outside the chairs are a bit too low for the tables. The food tasted very good and was mildly seasoned. There are many dishes also available in vegetarian versions with halloumi and a burger with a Beyond Meat pattie, which could possibly also be veganized. The toilets were clean but a bit tight. The staff was generally friendly and the food was brought out promptly.

A very nice restaurant. The furnishings outside and inside are very pleasant and really invite you to linger. The food was very tasty and also very well prepared. We had non-alcoholic cocktails that tasted great. Unfortunately, the only small negative point was that I made a table reservation by email (as stated on the website as contact) two days before my visit, which unfortunately remained unanswered. So I had to call a day later and hope that something would work out. But it worked and I know for the future that calling will work better. Otherwise absolutely recommended, just because of the super nice and really hard-working employees...

It's just a good thing that we had pre-ordered a table by phone, the beer garden in the Kaktus 🌵 was fully booked. Nevertheless, the service was good, the food was excellent, my "Lamb from the Chef" was tender, tasty and sufficiently portioned. Since I was also able to try the other dishes at our table, I can say everything was delicious 😋 highly recommended 👍

A great restaurant with very good cuisine at fair prices.

At 24°C and sunshine there is hardly anything better! The large outdoor area offers space for many guests without the feeling of crowding. The menu offers a very large selection and yet everything is freshly prepared.

The ambience is good, especially the small playground in the restaurant's outdoor area is certainly an advantage for families. The waiter was polite but not as nice as I'm used to at other restaurants. Food & drinks were so-so. It's kind of ok, but nothing that makes me have to come back.

We were welcomed very friendly. We ordered pork ribs with fries. The ribs were very tasty but could have been a little hotter. The fries were delicious. This was my second time at the Kaktus Restaurant. Definitely not for the last time. I would also recommend the restaurant to my friends.

Very great location, super delicious food.... For my part, I can only recommend the restaurant.... the only thing that is worth mentioning is probably due to the fact that it was extremely full there and we were there with 32 people, so the service was a bit overwhelmed and in places Lost overview or the fact that despite ordering we only got the table 30 minutes later than agreed in the reservation. But the ambience and the food itself was really good... and is recommended.

Nice staff, good selection of food. Prices ok. Points deducted for the chairs/armchairs. These are too low for the tables. A pity.

I found the food very good. The waiter immediately said I could pay with a card and give the drink in cash! The impudent waiter actor took €5 without saying thank you and then complained to his colleague in a non-German language. (My wife said) Unfortunately I didn't notice. Otherwise I would have asked for the money back. Next time I won't give a drink at all. You're expensive enough too. My wife doesn't want to go to you anymore.

Very nice atmosphere. Tables are not too close together. Service is great. We didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. The food is hot and tasty. They are large portions.

The food and atmosphere were great, our children (5 and 6 years old) also loved the playground, great, so we parents can relax and the children can play until the food is ready. Unfortunately, the waiter always only reacted after being alerted several times, but perhaps it was a one-off. Otherwise we were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Large restaurant with a very large outdoor area with a children's corner. The map was too extensive for me. The cheese on the nachos was way too much. You're already full with the starter. The portions are really huge and cheap. What was a shame was that you couldn't manage dessert. Food quality was good. I was missing the typical Mexican things: herbs, spices... It's all quite Germanized. A pity! We expected something more.

As always, very tasty and good service. I would love to come back, especially in the summer you can sit outside there.

This is a nice restaurant with Mexican cuisine and the usual cocktail bar 🌵🍸 The atmosphere outside is more pleasant than sitting inside. Indoors, the problem lies in the lighting design. The rather dark "cellar ambience", for example, makes it difficult to read the menu. During our visit today on a warm and summery Saturday afternoon in June, the food order was taken promptly. After about 30 minutes, the nicely decorated and prepared dishes were served. At one or two meals the design was very lavish. Here you either need to be very hungry or you end up with something left over. For dessert I treated myself to a cocktail 🍹 However, I had the impression that the strawberry colada had little to no alcohol content. It's a shame actually 😏

In contrast to our rating 4 years ago (recommended), we unfortunately have to say: No thanks! The chairs are too low for the tables, the staff tries hard, unfortunately nothing more, the food is nothing special. Judging by our fries and potato wedges, the deep fryer needs an oil change, especially since the ingredients are definitely industrially produced. At this point the price-performance ratio is not right. A pity!

We had a table right at the entrance opposite the bar. Everyone walked past our table and so it felt like we were at the train station. The volume was also very unpleasant. But the food is really good and tasty. When it gets warmer and you can sit outside again, it will definitely be more pleasant because the garden area is spacious and beautiful.

That was underground today. We left the restaurant again. We wanted to sit outside with our little dog. We went to the left, there was a woman with a German Shepherd sitting there and said her dog was strange, so we went to the right because we wanted to sit in the sun, and the waiter immediately came and said so It's a table for 7 people, we should sit down somewhere else. I have a severe disability of 80%, I can't walk very well, which is clearly visible and they chase us across the garden. That was impossible, we left .

A good restaurant for frequent visits. The staff is very friendly, although sometimes attentive. The restaurant is large and offers plenty of seating. The style is good, but could be a little more consistent here and there. The food is tasty and well seasoned, but a star deduction for some ready meals (starters all fried and ready-made, salads partly old and stale).

Very nice quiet restaurant. The outdoor area is pleasantly designed - not just standard plastic furniture. There are also shady places. The food is really good for my taste, prices are reasonable. The selection is also generous. The service is friendly but could be more attentive. All in all, I can recommend it and will go again.

We go that direction often and are always amazed at how beautiful it is there. Yes, and if it doesn't go that quickly because it's full, then so be it. The boys all only have two hands and do their best. Maybe you should think about this when evaluating. We'll definitely be happy to come back again and again.

After the renovation I don't see any difference to how it was before. Only a little bit of decoration was new. The food is sometimes lukewarm. It's very loud and the waiters were all standing at the bar and didn't look very happy. Last time we were there we are thrilled. Not anymore. The tables for two are too close together so that as many guests as possible can eat there. So you could hear the conversations from the neighboring table. And we had reserved a table specifically. Conclusion: Seems like a check-in. We won't be coming back .

The location is really nice when the weather cooperates. The service was quite quick and polite, unfortunately the food is really not good and how could it be otherwise, the Mai Tai tasted like juice and syrup.

A great Mexican! We had the same plate for 2 and it couldn't be done. Luckily you can leave out the side dishes and concentrate on the very good meat.

After the waiter heard that we just wanted something to drink, he angrily slammed the menus onto the table where he always has the menus to hand and our drinks took forever because they didn't respond despite ringing the bell from inside, so that was it Coffee had already cooled down quite a bit when it came.

Very fast service and delicious food

The food is very tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately, it is very dark and loud in the restaurant so it was difficult to have a conversation. The service was unfriendly, bad-tempered and stroppy, especially after paying, even though we tipped well (but probably not enough). After this experience, we wanted to try takeout. We were now told for no reason that this was not possible. Funny that it is still advertised on the website.

As always, everything was great, only the head waiter had an unfriendly manner and then the question of whether we should pay tips in cash or with a card was the last thing.

Delicious food in a beautifully designed restaurant! Well filled, but not a long wait. However, waiters were curt and we weren't really said goodbye after paying, which was a bit of a shame. Nevertheless, the restaurant is worth a visit. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food, you're in good hands here!

Well attended restaurant. Reservations had to be made in advance on Boxing Day. Tasty typical Mexican starters and a wide range of main courses. The restaurant will then be closed for renovation

Wir waren hier schon des öfteren zu Gast. Es ist immer wieder schön hier. Das Personal ist nett und das Essen und die Cocktails sind immer super lecker. Wir kommen gerne hier her.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, Essen war sehr lecker. Leider ist es recht voll an dem Abend gewesen und man musste laaange auf Getränke warten. 2 von den Servicekräften waren wirklich sehr freundlich, manche könnten freundlicher und vor allem aufmerksamer sein. Die Toiletten haben dringend Säuberungsbedarf.

Die Qualität des Essens war wirklich sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist auch wirklich schön. Nur von der Bedienung hätten wir uns ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewünscht.

Etwas dunkel, Essen war gut aber leider nicht heiß.

Wenn die Speisen etwas wärmer wären und/oder auf einem kalten Teller serviert werden würden wäre alles top. Geschmacklich auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
