The location is great and the service was good too, but unfortunately my food (soup) was only lukewarm, and the salad wasn't quite to my liking – too much dressing and far too acidic. Recommendation: Order the dressing separately to adjust the amount to your taste. The cocktails are quite good. There's a good selection of dishes.

I highly recommend it. It's better to book in advance, though, especially during peak times. Or you can be patient. In spring and summer, you can also sit outside.

Great atmosphere in the beer garden when the weather is nice. I'm not familiar with the interior. We sometimes had to wait a long time for service and had to actively make ourselves known.

Found it by chance while looking for another restaurant. Several of us ended up eating here in the beer garden. We all had a starter and a main course. It was absolutely delicious! We came back a few days later because I really wanted to try something different. It was also really good! Most of the service staff were very attentive, the food and drinks arrived relatively quickly, and the quality is second to none! Excellent value for money. The only criticism I have is the table height in relation to the chairs; they're simply too high...

We thought we'd give it a try and followed the pictures, and what can I say...wow, wow, wow...we're thrilled. In the summer, the seating is really comfortable, and the food 😋 is very lovingly prepared...I can highly recommend this place...it was delicious 😋, it was cozy, and there's so much seating here...I imagine a big party here would be fantastic...so my conclusion...very good 👍

Mexican restaurant - recommended! If you like delicious Mexican food, large portions, good drinks, and friendly service in a pleasant garden restaurant, "Kaktus" is the place for you. All dishes are truly delicious and freshly prepared, so it can take a bit longer. But the drinks come quickly, making up for it. The restaurant offers plenty of outdoor seating, so you can always find a spot for 2-4 people. This summer, we noticed that the restaurant is quite busy, even on Wednesday evenings. There are also enough umbrellas available, so you can stay protected from the blazing sun. I would have liked to have seen some ice cream as well as desserts. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. We've been here several times now and enjoy bringing guests along.

Great restaurant with delicious food. However, the attention to detail is a bit lacking. Everyone had different cutlery and plates. It was slightly dirty outside. The soap dispenser in the restrooms was broken, so they just left a bottle of liquid soap out. The music was okay. We waited a really long time for our food. It was very busy. That's understandable, but they were able to communicate that. Reordering was a bit difficult because no one came. The staff was very friendly, though. But they were just missing that extra kick. Friendliness isn't everything.

Our visit was okay. Meals average between €17-25, drinks €5-10. There's a children's playground. Parents love it, but all the other guests probably don't. Parking is very difficult on Friday and Saturday evenings.

We went there with friends. A very nice restaurant. Beautiful inside. We sat outside that day, and it started pouring with rain. The servers had to serve us with umbrellas. The food was great, and the staff were very friendly.

Very nice restaurant with a lovely beer garden

We were invited to a Mexican restaurant for our early graduation on July 19, 2025. We then went to Kaktus in Neuenhagen. Wow, absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant had a great big beer garden and the staff were absolutely fantastic. The food was AMAZING! I've never had anything like it before (I think they only have 5-star chefs there - AMAZING!!!). I'll be coming here more often now - absolutely brilliant and thanks to the team - that's what gastronomy should be!

It's just a good thing that we had pre-ordered a table by phone, the beer garden in the Kaktus 🌵 was fully booked. Nevertheless, the service was good, the food was excellent, my "Lamb from the Chef" was tender, tasty and sufficiently portioned. Since I was also able to try the other dishes at our table, I can say everything was delicious 😋 highly recommended 👍

The ambiance is fine, but the food doesn't feel homemade, especially the appetizer platters. The staff is polite and attentive.

All I can say is that it always tastes delicious and the staff are super friendly. We live in Mahlsdorf...luckily...if we lived closer we would be here every week. It's simply beautiful here.

We come from Neuenhagen and like to go to this restaurant again and again. The kitchen is good. And the portions are big enough. Everyone gets fed and is happy. An enrichment for Neuenhagen!

First impression is great of the atmosphere and I was very excited. Big group for a birthday, but unfortunately only tables pushed together. No extra decoration. I missed little birthday, s recognition. E.g. Candles or special table decorations. Well, I guess my expectations are too high. The staff seemed nice, but unfortunately they slowed down as they went on, as empty glasses were not recognized and were left on the table for a long time. It wasn't full in the restaurant. The food was good, but an indication of the spiciness of the food would be helpful. You also don't clear the plates (only at the buffet) if someone is still eating. Price performance was ok, but the bill could be presented to the paying guest a little more respectfully. Without a written invoice for a quick inspection is not acceptable. Also would be a small. Drink of one value is a nice gesture. (I'm sure you don't need this restaurant as it's always busy), which speaks for itself. Please stay healthy and take this as advice.

Good Mexican food and delicious burgers.

We had made a reservation for 8 people, but when we entered it looked like we didn't know anything and had to quickly find somewhere to sit. Then it worked. After being seated, someone came to take the drinks after a good 20 minutes. OK, they were served after another 30 minutes. After the drinks were empty, someone came to take the food order. Until it arrived in dribs and drabs, I had to order a new drink using the waving technique. So service is different. The food is typical TexMex, nothing more. The steak was good, the potato wedges were limp and there were 3 little cut-up champions swimming around in the champion sauce. So everything is very, how should you put it, not recommended for another visit.

The food was just great... you just have to take a little more money with you. Children's pasta (just a bit of cheese and sauce without meat) for 10 euros is crazy. Two adults two children each with a drink 90 euros.

Be sure to reserve in advance!!!! We have been coming for many years… The food is and remains super delicious. The service staff are always in a good mood and do their best. It has happened to us twice now in 2024 that we made reservations by phone and still didn't get a table. And unfortunately the situation with the opening times has now changed negatively. You have to pay 1 hour before closing and it's best to have all the dishes cleared away because the service staff want to leave earlier.
