We came across the Mexican restaurant through a recommendation. Unfortunately, parking spaces are limited. But the food is very tasty and the staff is very nice and quick. And of course, as always, the look at the clean toilet suggests the same for the kitchen. All in all, a nice visit to the outdoor area of ​​the Kaktus Restaurant.

No current opening times available online or on site. On Good Friday we stood in front of the door at 12 noon with no indication that it was closed that day.

We come from Neuenhagen and like to go to this restaurant again and again. The kitchen is good. And the portions are big enough. Everyone gets fed and is happy. An enrichment for Neuenhagen!

First impression is great of the atmosphere and I was very excited. Big group for a birthday, but unfortunately only tables pushed together. No extra decoration. I missed little birthday, s recognition. E.g. Candles or special table decorations. Well, I guess my expectations are too high. The staff seemed nice, but unfortunately they slowed down as they went on, as empty glasses were not recognized and were left on the table for a long time. It wasn't full in the restaurant. The food was good, but an indication of the spiciness of the food would be helpful. You also don't clear the plates (only at the buffet) if someone is still eating. Price performance was ok, but the bill could be presented to the paying guest a little more respectfully. Without a written invoice for a quick inspection is not acceptable. Also would be a small. Drink of one value is a nice gesture. (I'm sure you don't need this restaurant as it's always busy), which speaks for itself. Please stay healthy and take this as advice.

Good Mexican food and delicious burgers.

We had made a reservation for 8 people, but when we entered it looked like we didn't know anything and had to quickly find somewhere to sit. Then it worked. After being seated, someone came to take the drinks after a good 20 minutes. OK, they were served after another 30 minutes. After the drinks were empty, someone came to take the food order. Until it arrived in dribs and drabs, I had to order a new drink using the waving technique. So service is different. The food is typical TexMex, nothing more. The steak was good, the potato wedges were limp and there were 3 little cut-up champions swimming around in the champion sauce. So everything is very, how should you put it, not recommended for another visit.

Be sure to reserve in advance!!!! We have been coming for many years… The food is and remains super delicious. The service staff are always in a good mood and do their best. It has happened to us twice now in 2024 that we made reservations by phone and still didn't get a table. And unfortunately the situation with the opening times has now changed negatively. You have to pay 1 hour before closing and it's best to have all the dishes cleared away because the service staff want to leave earlier.

The parking situation alone is a catastrophe!!!!!!The service is absolutely overwhelmed and guests have to really cooperate because the drinks are passed on at the end of the table by the staff and everyone has to make sure that they are passed on correctly. Plates are passed back and forth over guests' heads and if you're unlucky, it's not the food for our table. Was my recommendation for my friends, unfortunately it wasn't a great evening at all. The staff is very nice and sometimes funny. The food is OK... the chicken could be juicier and the tomato sauce for the kids is too spicy. The burritos and co are delicious. The ambience is nice... just a little too dark for my taste.

We came to this restaurant spontaneously from Rostock with the sole intention of grabbing a quick bite to eat while we ran errands. What we were offered here exceeded all expectations! I had the chicken in almonds and peanut sauce - and I have to be honest: I haven't eaten something that good in a very long time. The combination of flavors was perfectly balanced and the quality of the ingredients was noticeable. Thank you for this culinary surprise! We will definitely come back because this experience was absolutely unique.

The cactus simply gets lost among the great competition nearby. There seems to be a lot of ready-made ingredients used. For many people this is completely okay, but I personally am a fan of real cuisine.

My boyfriend and I wanted to end the working day with a beer. The waiters were busy with their phones and barely looked at us. When we went to pay we were charged for more beers than we ordered and drank. After my objection and the request to involve the police, the bill was corrected. This house won't see us again. The people who work there have no idea what the job of a service provider is. Terrible.

You can be lucky if a restaurant is even open on Mondays. For a more comfortable beer among friends and colleagues. Our two Mexicans in the village were “luckily” open. One is already through, so you go to the other. The parallels between the two Mexicans are interesting. The boss ducks and lets the unskilled employees do their thing. We actually really enjoy going to this restaurant. Usually the food is good and the service too. Only there was no good service on Monday evening November 11th, 2024. We have rarely been treated so impersonally and unfriendly. I hope that was an exception. It would be a real shame. Only the gentleman who ran the bar was very nice - as we know it.

We had reserved a table and still had to stand around for a while until they could offer us a table. Ordering also took a little longer, but it came to the table quite quickly. The food was very good, the only thing that was a shame was that the two large starter plates weren't really warm. There were things on there that definitely hadn't been in the deep fryer long enough and were very cold at the core. Otherwise it was ok but unfortunately it's not enough to come back.

The food was also delivered very quickly. Taste: grade 1 here too. Really large portions and absolutely delicious food. There is also a delicious and large cocktail menu with and without alcohol. Since the restaurant is very busy, it would be advisable to call in advance to reserve a table.

I asked to pack the corn pocket with chicken separately. Lots of words from the waiter. And yet it was slapped into the bean puree. I'm pissed, it was soggy and disgusting. The salad had no taste whatsoever. NEVER AGAIN

Went there with the family, the food came in stages, so eating together was out of the question. One round of drinks...unfortunately the second one didn't happen because the employees somehow didn't have a plan as to how to proceed. Communication with the employee was very difficult and the wrong food and drinks were brought. Everything is very uncoordinated. Solid “Mexican” food. There are no surprises. Unfortunately, the service is not particularly fast and the beer is too expensive for 0.4l. A great visit. We had our table right next to the play area, so the kids could have fun while we waited for the food. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. The toilets are clean and there is even a great changing table.
