We have been guests from Saxony for over 10 years and look forward to the Moorsteins staff ;-)) Top food, top service, top cleanliness and we are always overwhelmed by the friendliness:-) even on the phone..... Try it out of!!! I can only recommend it!

Yesterday (July 20th, 2024) we celebrated our 140th birthday (2x70) in private (25 people) at Morstein's. It started at 3:30 p.m. with coffee and cake. It was set for us both on the terrace and in the guest room. Due to the high temperatures of 30 degrees and more, we were able to spend the entire afternoon and evening outside. Strawberry cake and sheet cakes were presented in front of the counter. A service person was with us the whole time and poured coffee. There was music playing in the background, which we found pleasant. We opened the buffet at around 6:30 p.m. The DJ we had specially booked had arrived in the meantime and held back on playing music during the meal. We had ordered a barbecue with some starters (anti pasti, Serrano ham, salads, melon, etc.), various types of grilled meat and salmon with several side dishes, sauces and dips and dessert (strawberries, tiramisu, passion fruit, etc.). Everything that had previously been grilled on the terrace could then be loaded onto the plates in the smaller dining room. My favorite was the lamb sirloin steak. It was well done and not quite as bloody as some might like. In the meantime the staff had changed, the two from the afternoon were replaced by two fresh service staff for the evening. The boss also came by briefly to check on everything and do some paperwork. The DJ had now discovered our musical tastes and served them to our full satisfaction, including any special requests from the dancers. We had booked until 1:00 a.m., but from around 11:00 p.m. the joy of dancing diminished due to the heat of the day and no one wanted even drinks, which were all well chilled (except for my glass of Glenmorangie). After most of the guests had left anyway, we set sail around midnight. All in all, it was a successful birthday that went exactly as we had imagined (drinking coffee in peace, chatting with the family and guests, having a nice dinner, dancing again and having a drink or two).

Friendly, good menu, new wine list - but it's sure to be good.

I'm basically a regular guest and always feel like I'm at home. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood and responds to special requests. The food tastes fantastic and is more than reasonable for the price. An oasis of well-being for every occasion.

We were there for a private party and paid 20 euros excluding drinks. The amount of food was far too limited for the number of people booked. Several people remained hungry. I got two spoonfuls of salad (see plate). The manager at the bar was also very unfriendly. Waitresses were friendly

Excellent cuisine and nice staff.

Arrival by car or S-Bahn. There are plenty of parking spaces for cars directly behind the restaurant. A very nice restaurant with a winter garden flair. The menu didn't seem overloaded to me. I discovered many delicious and seasonal dishes. I chose the apple pork cutlet. Even the mashed potatoes were garnished in a very unusual way. It was a taste experience because I have never eaten it like this in a restaurant. There were also green beans garnished with pomegranate seeds. The chop was a portion on its own. The service was very accommodating. All in all a comfortable stay. And one more thing on the side. The toilet in the basement was a very neat place. For vain men, some selected cosmetic products are displayed on the washing line and invite you to use them.

Stylish owner-run restaurant, good cuisine, very good and friendly service and if you want, you can go bowling in the basement.

Very pleasant atmosphere, very tasty food.

Wir haben im Morstein's unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Vom ersten Kennenlernen bis zum Ende der Feier fühlten wir uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Alle Wünsche wurden umgesetzt. Frau Morstein hatte für alles sofort Ideen und Lösungen. Das Essen schmeckte allen super! Gerne immer wieder!!!

Waren Sonntag Abend zu dritt spontan zum Essen. Restaurant war gut besucht. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend. Der Pink Spritz wurde uns empfohlen und war sehr lecker!

Wir haben Morstein's unser Hochzeit Catering ausrichten lassen und waren super zufrieden von der Beratung bis hin zum fertigen Essen echt top und zum Schluss wurde das Buffet auch richtig liebevoll platziert und angerichtet. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal.

Einfach nur toll ! Wir haben unsere Hochzeit am 08.07. Dort gefeiert. Der Tag war rundum gelungen, Essen top, Ambiente top, Inhaber top, Personal top. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

Die Hochzeit des Jahres fand dort am 08.07.23 dort statt, es war großartig. Super leckeres Buffet, Mega nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, Platz zum Tanzen war auch sehr gut.

Kostet zwar nen Euro mehr, aber das merkt man dann auch an allem. Essen top, Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Also Preiswert > es ist seinen Preis wert. Ambiente ist Geschmackssache, mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Etwas um seine Liebste aus zu führen.

Waren zu einer Veranstaltung im Bürgerhaus und wollten vorher noch was trinken auf Empfehlung der Kellnerin tranken wir Hugo mit Himbeer und einen Wein mit Früchten und pink tonic es war sehr lecker vielen lieben dank ...und dann bot man uns an auch in der Pause gerne nochmal vorbeizuschauen für diese Getränke super Service und alle sehr freundlich ...beim nächsten Besuch besuchen wir diese Lokalität gerne wieder auch zum Abendessen....

Wir hatten heute eine kleine Feier im 11 Personen Familienrahmen. Die vorausgewählten Speisen waren sehr hochwertig und kamen auch alle gleichzeitig. Das Personal war super freundlich und hatte alles gut vorbereitet. Wer etwas ähnliches plant kann ohne Bedenken hier reservieren.

Nettes Ambiente und nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Bei den Preisen hätte ich größere Portionen erwartet oder extraklasse. Es war gut aber nicht besonders.

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service. Allerdings wird man bei Sonnenschein drinnen stark geblendet teilweise und es gibt keine Jalousie oder ähnliches.

Auf Grund der Rezensionen war ich heute erstmals zu einem Geschäftsessen im Restaurant. Neben uns waren nur zwei weitere Tische besetzt und eine größere Gruppe von ca 15 Personen in einem Nebenraum. Leider muss ich dazu sagen. Denn das Restaurant hat mich extrem positiv überrascht. Eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre, super aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, dass habe ich hier so nicht erwartet. Kleinigkeiten wie Hinweise auf besondere Speisen, Weinempfehlungen, korrekte Bedienung nach alter Schule, ein Gästebuch, sehr saubere WCs mit kostenlosen Pflegeartikeln. All das findet man nicht mehr so oft inciodieser Preisklass. Das Essen kam zügig, vorweg das Rote Beete Carpaccio. Sehr lecker. Eventuell mal mit roher rote Beete probieren. Danach die Ravioli und das Kalbsschnitzel. Beides war von sehr guter Qualität und ansprechend präsentiert. Preis Leistung ist absolut fair für diese Zeiten. Ein guter 0,25 l französischer Rotwein für 6,90€. Wo gibt es das noch? Mein Gast und ich waren sehr zufrieden und werden dieses Restaurant sicher wieder besuchen. Vielen Dank.
