Schlechter Service. Sie sprechen kein Englisch. Der Lachs war trocken und geschmacklos.

Also wir waren dort zum ersten Mal, da wir zu einer Feier eingeladen waren und in dem dazugehörigen Hotel übernachtet haben. Man lobte vorweg, dass man das günstigste Hotel in der Gegend sei. Viele gibt es da auch nicht. Nun ja Hotel kam das nun wirklich nicht nennen, eher Absteige. Die Zimmer sind in derart in die Jahre gekommen, dass es schon in den Augen weh tut. Teppichboden der mit Flecken übersät ist. Matratzen die scheinbar noch aus der Wende stammen. Fenster die man nicht verdunkeln kann. Auch wenn man sagt, wann wäre das günstigste Hotel in der Gegend, dann sind 80 Euro für ein Doppelzimmer definitiv zu viel. Mehr gibt es dafür auch nicht. (Frühstück Fehlanzeige). Für ein oder zwei Nächte geht es sicherlich, mehr aber nicht. Dann besser im Auto pennen. Wir haben an einem der zwei Abende dort eine Pizza gegessen. Wie in anderen Bewertungen zu lesen spricht man von Tiefkühlpizza, was wir anfangs auch dachten., weil sie so aussah. Hier wird die Pizza aber scheinbar in einer Form gebacken, daher sieht es so aus. Da sollte der Pizzabäcker mal lernen, diese von Hand zu formen, sieht professioneller aus, nur so als Tip. Macht mehr her. Geschmacklich war die Pizza ok, hat mich aber auch nit vom Hocker gerissen. Preislich ist man ein wenig zu hoch, wenn man überlegt, dass in einem kleinen Ort ist. Ansonsten war man sehr freundlich und der Service stimmte soweit. Zu den anderen Speisen, kann ich keine Aussage treffen. Ach so sollte man doch dort mal tatsächlich übernachten, ist nicht weit die S-Bahn Station Hoppegarten und man ist ruckzuck mit Bahn in Berlin.

Wie wunderbar, am Pfingstsonntag spontan einkehren und einen Platz draußen ergattern zu können. Wie immer: Herzlicher und aufmerksamer Service, leckere Pizzen, Scaloppa und Pasta, schöne Terrasse und Kartenzahlung ist auch weiterhin möglich (ich erwähne dies explizit, da wir in letzter Zeit woanders nur noch bar zahlen konnten - eine neue zunehmende Unsitte unserer Meinung nach). Wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins Il Castello!

Ich komme schon seit Jahrzehnten ins Il Castello und es ist immer wieder schön. Wir sind spontan eingekehrt (zu fünft), sind freundlich empfangen worden und haben einen schönen Terrassentisch bekommen. Das Essen war wie immer super und das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt auch. Es war eine schöner kulinarischer Abschluss eines schönen Tages.

Wie schon so oft, immer wieder sehr lecker dort, äußerst freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und die Preise sind fair und angemessen. Wir werden auch weiterhin gerne wieder kommen.

Das Restaurant ist für Rollstuhlfahrer gut geeignet. Nur die Toiletten sind leider nicht Behindertengerecht. Das war für meine Mutter sehr demütigend.

Wir waren während der Reha meiner Mama in Hoppegarten 2 x in diesem schönen Restaurant. Es hat uns jedesmal begeistert und sehr gut gefallen. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Nähe sein kehren wir ganz bestimmt wieder ein. Das Essen ist sehr lecker der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. -schön war's- !

Ich wollte mit 50 Gästen einkehren, war zweimal dort, um zu reservieren und man hat mit gesagt, es sei alles ok. Zwei Wochen vor dem Termin kam dann ein Anruf, es ginge nicht, der Saal sei schon besetzt und a la carte gehe es sowieso nicht. Davon ist vorher nie die Rede gewesen. Gott sei Dank hatte ich Glück und konnte ich noch in einem anderen Lokal reservieren. Ich werde nie wieder einen Fuß in dieses Restaurant setzen.

Ich habe vor 2 Jahre eine Rezension geschrieben, da war noch alles in Ordnung. Seit letzes Jahr ist nichts mehr wie es war....die Pizza sieht aus wie eine Ferigpizza aus dem Kühlregal, minimalistisch belegt und der Geschmack und Geruch nach frischem Hefeteig fehlt gänzlich. In den Penne Castello muss man den Schinken suchen, die Soße leider sehr fade und die Käseschicht vom überbacken sehr sparsam...insgesamt keine Portion zum satt werden. Unser Stammrestaurant hat sich für uns erledigt. Schade

Ein wirklich großartiges Restaurant! Das Essen ist frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Absolut empfehlenswert, ich komme sehr gern wieder.

Ich war mit meinen Kindern (11 und 16 J) dort. Das Servicepersonal sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich, aufmerksam! Das Essen war sehr lecker! Das Menü Spaghetti mit Lachs, Spaghetti mit hausgemachtem Pesto, Bruschetta und das Stracciatella Eis sehr zu empfehlen! Das Ambiente war absolut einladend mir italienischer Musik im Hintergrund. Es ist immer wieder sehr schön dort.

Grundsätzlich ist gibt's gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Samstags scheint es regelmäßig Schwierigkeiten zu geben. Wir haben da auch schon mal unzufrieden das Lokal verlassen. Grundsatz jedoch toller Service, zuvorkommend, man wird herzlich empfangen, bedient und auch verabschiedet. Die WeihnachtsDeko für 2026 sollte überdacht werden. ich empfand es sehr lieblos/ kitschig... die bunt flackernden Lichter im Fenster direkt am Tisch machen einen sehr nervös.

The staff are super friendly; the restaurant manager greets and farewells with a handshake—where else can you find such friendliness from the waiters—simply top-notch. Large outdoor terrace with shade or sun, very cozy inside, but a bit noisy when busy. Restrooms are in very good condition; there's a small parking lot in the courtyard, but plenty of parking spaces on the side street. The food is simply great—excellent in terms of both quantity and taste. In summary, I fully recommend this Italian restaurant.

Unfortunately, the taste is a complete disappointment (sticky and soggy), simply nasty. And yet, it can be so easy with good pizza. See the last photo. In terms of taste, for me, this pizza can compete with any of the 80 million kebab shops in Germany.

We ordered pizza for pickup. Unfortunately, when we opened the boxes at home, we were bitterly disappointed – it was frozen. The prices are ridiculous (e.g., €13 for a tonno pizza). The fact that the manager put his hand on my shoulder when I picked it up and assured me with a broad grin that everything is always freshly prepared is the minimum number of stars.

Simply wonderful! I've never eaten such delicious tiramisu, and the meat for the main course was fantastic!

Friendly welcome, very nice service

Today, after a long time, we went to the Castello restaurant again and were very disappointed. We're used to the high prices, but when you only get a child's portion, it's disproportionate. On top of that, we ordered three fillet dishes with mushrooms for €20 each, and there were at most three slices of mushrooms on them. We'll probably have to find a new Italian restaurant.

We wanted to eat there on Easter Saturday. There was no mention anywhere that there was only a small map. But we understood that and stayed. When we wanted to order our food, dishes from the day before were already sold out. If there is only a very small selection of dishes, then I have to make sure that there is enough. So I can't say anything about the food. Service was friendly until we said we were leaving.

The kitchen is also open late at night

Not so nice, small menu, food so-so, didn't get the right menu. Someone wanted to get rid of their day ticket. Actually, it's a shame 😞

We spent a spontaneous Friday evening at Il Castello without a reservation. It was very well attended. The ambience is classic Italian, with checkered tablecloths, candlelight and a welcoming atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly. The Pizza Siziliana was great: a crispy base and perfectly seasoned. Conclusion: If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine and good hospitality, you have come to the right place. We'll definitely be back!

Very good restaurant where we always like to come by. The waiters are also very friendly and humorous and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food is also the best we know in the area. We can highly recommend it and have already impressed friends and family. If a mistake does happen, they always strive to make the customer happy. A store where the motto the customer is king is still lived.

Even at a late hour we received a warm welcome. The food was good and the portions were sufficient. Prices are ok too. There could be a little more ambient lighting outside, but only marginally. All in all, well recommended.

I didn't feel comfortable in the restaurant. The owner had a very arrogant demeanor. Unfortunately, I had booked a room there for one night. The room was very dirty and shabby. The next morning I was supposed to get an invoice for the room price, which was collected upon arrival. But the next morning there was no sign of any of the employees.

Dirty glasses in the bathroom, stained beds, broken closet, no bedside table, bullet holes in the bathroom, no hairdryer, no lampshade... laughable that this should be a hotel. No improvement or repair within two years.

A few weeks ago the menu was dropped into household mailboxes. That all sounded very promising. This meant that we ordered lunch for Easter Sunday. To our dismay, there was a stripped down menu. You got 2 soups, and as a main course you could choose between 4 or 5 dishes. The main courses should served with rosemary potatoes and mixed vegetables. There was also a selection of 2 children's meals and 2 desserts. No trace of pasta or pizza. Sorry but that has nothing to do with an Italian. We got up and left.

After a long time..., finally returned!!!! As always, very, very nice staff, ❤️ warm welcome..., super great food!!!! Just as we have always known it from there!!!

Wir waren mit der Familie in einer kleineren Runde zum Weihnachtsessen in diesem Restaurant und hatten vorher reserviert. Es war schon mittags zeitig sehr gut besucht und füllte sich zum Nachmittag hin immer mehr. Es gab eine spezielle (etwas abgespeckte) Weihnachtsspeisekart, welche für jeden etwas zu bieten hatte. Die bestellten Gerichte (Wild, Gänsekeule & Fisch) wurden schnell serviert und generell war der Service der Keller sehr aufmerksam trotz eines vollen Lokals. Das Ambiente war gemütlich und weihnachtlich dekoriert. Es gab zum Schluss sogar noch zwei Flaschen Wein geschenkt, ein rundherum gelungener Besuch, wir kommen definitiv gern wieder! Weiter so 🍝🍕🍖🍷🍺

Den Italiener mit der Qualität zu den Preisen hätte ich gerne bei uns im Ort. Es war sehr, sehr gut. Da stimmte aber auch Alles. Ich könnte jetzt verschiedenste Adjektive aneinander Reihen aber es war perfekt und gut.

Wie immer war es sehr lecker!!! Der Service und die Küche ist hervorragend. Keine langen Wartezeiten. Jeder Extrawunsch wird erfüllt. Absolut zu empfehlen!
