The positive reviews here are difficult for me to understand. None of the positive commenters have eaten kebab in Turkey? The kebab definitely doesn't melt in your mouth. It has a rubbery meat consistency. I think that the people who made positive comments definitely have no taste. and it smells like meat. Well-marinated meat prepared without breaking the cold chain will never smell. The seating areas are 70% good. If you sit further back, you will smell a strong toilet smell while eating.

The service was very nice and quick and asking if everything was okay also came across as very positive. The music in the background would be an advantage if it was more international. And what's not nice at all is the smoke

Unfortunately, the food is not worth the money - unfriendly service and food that neither fills you up nor tastes particularly good. You can really only eat there in an emergency. I will never go there again. It's better to spend your money somewhere else where you can get a little more quality and quantity. The kebab is served with hardly any sauce and the individual ingredients are simply pressed into the bread without paying attention to distribution and edibility. Terrible store and not customer oriented at all.

I love this store. I don't like writing a bad review. But I don't want others to have the same fate as me. Were there 2 weeks ago. Delicious salad to take away. The beans tasted a bit strange, but I blamed it on the herbs because I'd never caught anything before. Pretty soon after the salad I had stomach cramps. I never have that. The fact was that I was sick for 10 days. And the stomach is still not okay. That's too bad. I will therefore avoid this shop and will now be much more careful with others too! Stomach pain is no fun. Sorry for the review. Maybe next time you can test the food yourself before putting it on display, that will save you from bad reviews. Unfortunately it's no longer my favorite kebab. Too bad.

Great service, super nice and quick, but no handling whatsoever. Food is freshly prepared and tastes great. Prices are reasonable and justified. Only the ambience is reminiscent of a fast food restaurant.

We ordered a kebab. The service was very unfriendly and because the kebab was inedible. We should consider sending it to the health department because I also feel very sick. I would recommend not doing that. 🤢🤮

I just spontaneously wanted to get a kebab from the kebab man but then saw the restaurant. Decided for a kebab plate. Very tasty meat (not a run-of-the-mill kebab snack), thin, delicious bread with it. Great in terms of taste and service and friendly 😊 I will definitely visit again when I'm in the corner.

Went there with a slightly larger group, Lahmacun was great, we also got a Cai and bread with sauces for free to start with, great shop

You wait... you expect. Our lives are always connected with time and expectation. If you have to wait 10 minutes for kebab, it's completely normal. If you dream about a pizza after work all day and have to wait 20 minutes - that's nothing. You have to understand that on Friday evenings you are not alone in this world and everyone wants to get everything and immediately, even though that is not possible. Guys. Your family pizza is excellent!!! Your efforts are valuable! My expectation is 150% fulfilled. Thank you for being here. Very tasty kebab pocket with top p/l. Great atmosphere and very nice service. There is often free tea after the meal 10/10.

Worst kebab so far. Extremely tough....crumply and not tasty. With beer 16.90. No card payment possible. Kind regards to the tax office.

We have been to Istanbul several times, most of the staff are nice, although there is one who comes across as very arrogant. The food is average, was once much better and the bulgur salad was once great. The gentleman who freshly made the salad is long gone...unfortunately. We used to go there regularly. The toilets also leave a lot to be desired, if the boss could take care of that. The boss himself is a very nice man!!!

The restaurant is small and loud. The staff is very nice, but quickly seems overwhelmed and hectic when there are more visitors. Orders are forgotten or arrive very late. The food is okay, the kebab is average. The meat was well seasoned, unfortunately the sauces didn't taste good at all.

Unfortunately there is an employee there who is very unfriendly and this has happened repeatedly - every time. The order is prepared carelessly and minimalistically. The store itself is good and the rest of the employees are all nice, but the employee in question really ruins the mood and appetite. A stupid feeling when you leave the store. A pity.

The food quality is very good as well as the arrangement on the plate. However, unfortunately, the food is too salty even though it is unclear if this is a consequence of cooking or deliberate action to make people drink more. Overall the place is quite enjoyable for a more casual dining experience.

Dear Restaurant Istanbul team, We are more than thrilled with you! We were at your place today around half past seven and ordered two kebab plates and a pide. It was our first time with you because we come from Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia. Despite the fact that there was a lot to do, we had a warm welcome with a cup of tea. The food was delicious and, in our opinion, exceeded all of our taste rankings! Everything was fresh, warm and the portions were really more than enough. If we visit here in Hanover again, we will definitely come back! Thank you very much 🫶🏼

Ist ok, nicht schlecht aber auch nicht WOW

Wir haben Döner zum mitnehmen bestellt. Das Fleisch war leider für meinen Geschmack ein wenig dunkel. Dafür waren die Speisen sehr geschmackvoll. Die Lokalität ist eher ein Restaurant als eine Dönerbude.

Das Essen ist und der Service ist super, im Sommer mit dem schönen Außenbereich auch eine super Atmosphäre

Sono anni che andiamo in questo ristorante turco, e per anni torneremo ad andarci. Posto che dista circa 10 min dalla fiera di hannover. Carne squisita, costolette di agnello buonissime, birra ottima, tutto il personale di una gentilezza unica. Consiglio assolutamente

Неймовірно смачна їжа з гарним персоналом. Заради жарту замовили самий гострий перець, весело було всім коли почалася пожежа від нього але головне що приємні враження залишилися в усіх від закладу. Раджу!

Viel leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service! Immer wieder gern!

Köstliche pide mit Dönerfleisch und Käse. Gute Sitzmöglichkeiten, auch Kindersitze verfügbar. Es ist eine Mischung aus Dönerbude mit Laufkundschaft vorne und Restaurant. Bedienung freundlich und schnell.

Wir sind ohne Erwartungen für einen schnellen Imbiss am Abend hierher gefahren und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Als Vegetarier haben wir trotz einer großen Auswahl an Fleischgerichten etwas auf der Karte gefunden. Als wir uns hingesetzt haben, wurde sofort der Tisch freigeräumt und abgewischt. Der Salat war sehr gut und Falafeltasche und -rolle waren großzügig und vielseitig bestückt. Alles in allem ist das Restaurant Istanbul Hendrik approved.

Essen lecker und kostet angemessen. Leider sitzt man voll mit Rauchern umgeben und muss Tabakrauch einatmen

Waren mit 12 Leuten dort .. alle haben gleichzeitig gutes und warmes Essen bekommen. Auch getränke wurden schnell gebracht .. nettes Personal .. ich würde wieder hingehen ..

Superlecker, freundliches Personal. Pizza auf dem Holzbrett serviert, tolle Idee. Hier gibt es echten Döner. Zu empfehlen.

Essen und Service waren super. Zubereitung sehr frischer Zutaten das auch noch am späten Abend. Das Ambiente könnte es schicker sein, das ist jedoch Geschmacksache. Allem in allem sehr lohnenswert.

Wir sind Stammgäste hier, das Essen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind unschlagbar! Immer frisch und lecker. Dazu eine fast immer sehr freundliche Bedienung, auch wenn es mal voll ist (und das kommt oft vor). Ich bewundere die Geduld und die immer währende, stabile, sehr gute Qualität zu mehr als fairen Preisen. Macht weiter so!

Super Döner, Größe ist in Ordnung. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auch gut draußen sitzen. Viele Mittags angebote zu fairen Preisen.
