Best Greek salad, good home cooking!

Our visit was unfortunately disappointing; based on the many four-star reviews, we had hoped for more. The food was just below average. The fried potatoes were barely cooked and swimming in grease. My husband had the mixed grill, which consisted mostly of salad and lots of fries. The meat was pounded paper-thin and practically nonexistent. What is absolutely unacceptable, in our opinion, are waiters who, during peak lunchtime, repeatedly stand in the corner, smoking or playing on their phones, in full view of the guests. Unfortunately, the young men were not friendly. Eye contact is not enough when reading the menu. If, as a waiter, I walk past a table four times without taking the empty plates or at least briefly saying, "I'll be right there!", that's not service in my book. I find sweatpants rather difficult to wear as work clothes.

Had two meals here while staying in the Town and both great value and tasty. Fried chicken and then bayrisch meat salad.. Will be returning on my next visit to the town.

Super delicious food and drinks

Very, very tasty pizza and wonderful, friendly service. And sitting outside, with the beautiful space and the view of the mountains – fantastic.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is excellent, and that's also very good. Only the tables and benches outside need to be cleaned. They're covered in bird droppings.

Everything was fast and super delicious.

Somewhat carelessly presented dishes. The venison goulash was swimming in sauce, but the portion was quite small. You had to pick out the few pieces of meat from the sauce, and the small, lonely, and rather dense bread dumpling wasn't exactly filling. In other restaurants, this would have easily passed for a child's plate (apart from the generous amount of sauce, which was also quite spicy). I would have preferred to pay a few euros more if I could have gotten an adult portion. But the venison goulash was also relatively inexpensive (just under €20). What was really strange, however, was the fact that the food was served in less than five minutes after ordering. No fast-food restaurant and no microwave can compete with that. A little tip: At least let the customer believe that freshly cooked food is being prepared for them by waiting a bit before serving. People who go out for dinner plan to spend more than 15 minutes there before heading home... The ambiance is quite nice, though. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Unfortunately, the salad plate only contained a green salad with some carrots and fresh fruit, rather than a variety of salads. The fried potatoes were a generous side dish and, unfortunately, quite greasy compared to the Bavarian Cordon Bleu. Good, friendly, and attentive service.

Very good service 1/2 chicken was just a wing and half a leg. The outdoor dining area was lovely.

I don't need to go back. The food wasn't exactly what the reviews suggested. The schnitzel was very thin and heavily breaded. The salad plate looked generous, but there wasn't much on it. For the price, I would have expected more from all the dishes on our table.

It was very crowded. Since we were traveling with a dog, we left again.

The food is very good and the staff is very friendly. You feel welcome. I'd be happy to come back again.

The ambience on site is very, very nice anyway, we are in the beer garden today in beautiful weather. Service service was very good, very attentive and the drinks came very quickly. The Greek salad is absolutely amazing. I have never eaten such a delicious salad, regardless of the provider. The combination of lightly grilled peppers, zucchini and eggplant with fresh salad and fresh onions was, as I said, a sensation. Plus a classic tarte flambée. Unfortunately I didn't take enough pictures, otherwise you would see more in the basement.

Delicious food at a fair price, with generous portions. It's a nice and cozy restaurant in a nice location. However, the restaurant was empty when we arrived on a Sunday evening and we had to look for the waiter. He paid more attention to his cell phone and smoking outside than to the guests. He was also terrible at communication. The food was great but the service could really be better.

We ate outside. At the same time, the huts for the Advent market were set up. I ordered cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately there were a lot of onions mixed in, which is not my cup of tea.

The restaurant is in a great location. The facility is fine, the audience is nicely mixed. Everything is familiar and friendly thanks to the children of the restaurateurs. Food was good and served quickly after you ordered it. If you're thirsty, it's a bit tiring. The focus behind the counter is checking cell phones. The visible consequence of this is that with so much display time, a beer with an expired best-before date comes through. Toilets are large and clean. If you have earned 4.7 stars on Google, you shouldn't be so careless with the service. It's a real shame, I understand why the restaurant has 5 stars, but how sustainable are they?

Very quick cuisine, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. The grill plate is highly recommended and the portion size is also right. I couldn't have eaten any more. Pumpkin soup was also very tasty.

Very quick service. Food was ready in no time. My main course didn't quite suit my taste. But the tarte flambée was great. The Hünns Burger was one of the best of our dishes. But all in all, good to very good.

Very centrally located with a large outdoor area. The restaurant is rustically furnished and feels comfortable. The staff is friendly and orders come to the table quickly. The dishes are disappointing and not what I imagine. The fried potatoes are extremely fatty and not fried really well. All the food was bland and poorly seasoned or not seasoned at all. The meat was ok but not seasoned either. The best was the salad. If you want a lot and cheaply, this is the place for you, but if you want good taste you should look for something else.

Large portions, actually fair prices, but the food disappoints. The taste was just okay, extremely greasy and the huge portions were almost inedible. The service is quick and attentive. The atmosphere is convivial, thanks to the tables being close together. Overall a mixed experience.

We were on holiday in Bad Reichenhall for a few days and ate at Hünns three times. The service was great, the food was delicious and we could still sit outside in October. The weather was wonderful, many restaurants had already cleared out their garden restaurant.

Pretty authentic Bavarian/Austrian food. The service is nice and friendly.

Fast and attentive service. However, the table reserved for 4 was only set for 2 people and the dirty tablecloth remained on it. The place is quite nice, but the seating is very tight and some fresh air every now and then would be an advantage. Food is average tavern cuisine - but nothing more.

One of the restaurants where you feel like trying out the entire menu little by little. Ended up here while passing through. The salad with breaded chicken, the Viennese style schnitzel and breaded pumpkin schnitzel... followed by dessert (apple cake and raspberry plate)...highly recommended....deserved 5 stars overall.

From us a straight -10 in service Our order was only partially taken, the drinks were swapped and despite repeated attention, we were left sitting in the blazing sun for an hour without anyone coming to us. There wasn't much going on and the neighboring table was served!

Good Bavarian cuisine located in the city center

The location of the beer garden is nice and the service is friendly and fast. The dining room is rustic and comfortably furnished. The beer is good. Local cuisine is cooked. And tarte flambée?? It (beef goulash and chicken with sauce) was tasty. But it's not a revelation.

Very cozy, well-kept atmosphere. The two young waiters are professional and friendly. No long waiting times although well attended. The side salad for the roast pork (pork shoulder) was excellent. The crust was perfect. The fluffy bread dumpling deserves the name bread dumpling. The plate, very carelessly arranged, is more reminiscent of canteen food. The burger could also be presented in a more attractive way - as we know, the eye is important. Both tasted very good. There is only one star deducted for the presentation. All in all, definitely recommended 👍🏻

The HÜNNS is absolutely recommended. Super tasty food and we liked the Hefeweizen/Cola. Were there for the second time in 3 days. Come back next year.

There were four of us here as tourists with babies. First of all: the staff was super friendly. The food (a good selection of vegetarian options compared to many other restaurants nearby) was at the table within less than 10 minutes and we all got our food at the same time, each of us having something different. The food was presented well and the quantity was enough for 3 out of 4 of us. However, in hindsight we would all say that the food was very bland, so I'll briefly list the individual dishes here: Käsespätzle: very greasy and felt like it was cooked with fat instead of cheese, because it didn't taste very bad. In terms of quantity, it was more than enough and the side salad was also good and included in the price. Grill plate: a little low on fries and the Cevapcici listed was left out without comment. At the next table a gentleman also ordered the Geillplatte and asked for the Cevapcici. He was told that unfortunately it was over and that there was a sausage there. However, firstly, the information in advance would be interesting and secondly, the sausage was not included, but according to the menu. In the end you have paid for a non-existent or replaced Cevapcici. The fries were good, but a bit small. Rump steak: was comparable to a pork neck steak in terms of thickness. It was a bit over the top and we didn't say anything or be asked anything. In addition, some cartilage has crept in. The herb butter was a little low and the fries were good, but also very little. Dinner of the day: bread dumplings with chanterelle cream sauce: This dish was probably the most disappointing. The mushrooms didn't taste like anything, the sauce actually only consisted of cream/milk and didn't taste like anything, and bread dumplings are to be understood here as the singular because it was exactly one. At the price of around €18 I would say this is a rip off. In the end, every bag of soup probably tastes more like cream and mushrooms and at 18€ at least a second bread dumpling would be a must. Since the portions for everyone except the cheese spaetzle were very small, we ordered dessert. Nougat dumplings: contrary to our expectations, they were not filled with nougat/chocolate but rather fruit (I mean plum). Apple fritters: were good and I would recommend them. "Melting Heart": again very disappointing because the cake with a liquid core was extremely small (about half a muffin tin filled) and the "fruits" that came with it were 5 blueberries and two half slices of orange. Again, disproportionately expensive for what is on offer. Iced coffee: I think the coffee was instant coffee, but the ice cream (which came with all the desserts) was good (normal store-bought vanilla ice cream). Conclusion: great staff, nice central location, fast service, but also food that is of a quality that is more on the level of a cheap German fast food restaurant. This also somewhat explains the speed at which the food comes. The prices, on the other hand, do not suggest that they are a fast food restaurant, as in my opinion they were above a good German restaurant. We wouldn't go there again because the food is our main priority when visiting a restaurant.
