We thought there would be more going on there on a Friday, it was quiet and quite pleasant, unfortunately the food wasn't that good, pork medallions with hollandaise sauce and cheese gratinated, medallions were much too dry either they were finished and had to be warmed up again or it was on the oven for too long, hollandaise was a teaspoon full and unfortunately far too little, the second meal with chicken breast strips and Asian vegetables, the meat was also much too dry We passed it on like that and got 2 small coffees for free, he wasn't surprised but it seemed like it happened more often. I wouldn't eat there again now, it's a shame for me to spend the money

We were there with a large group, so we created the atmosphere ourselves.

In 1 Word GATVERDAMME!!!! This is the 2nd time in my life I've had such a crappy meal. Wienerschnitzel this really damages the German Wienerschnitzel in its honor and name. Meat so thin, even thinner than the meat on a McDonald's hamburger. And then have the guts to fry this. Grease was dripping off. The same applies to the hanchenschnitzel. Also just aimed in the fryer. Potato wedges fried in too much shortening, mushroom sauce tasted of nothing. It's even better to eat at a rat state the highway. And then dare to ask for 18.90 + 2 euros more for the hanchen/chicken. Paid 104 euros including drinks, we all left half of our food behind. Wasted money. You can only take a seat here for drinks. For food, take a quick walk around the block. Oh yes, and hygiene is poor, dirty old poor toilet. And the person who was supposed to be the cook had a cold and was blowing his nose into a tissue. Don't wash his hands afterwards and this is what you need to prepare your food. I haven't had to puke yet.

I made a stop here and was here by 11:30am. I was able to order lunch even though it usually only starts at 12 p.m. I was able to enjoy my schnitzel with fries, which needed a bit of a deep fryer, with a beautiful view of the Rhine. Salt and pepper were served but no one asked for ketchup or mayonnaise. Unfortunately, the food was very dry despite the side salad. And that for just under €20. The service was nice and friendly and the menu offers enough to find something to eat for everyone.

We thought 1 coffee, 1 hot chocolate, 2 cakes for €21 was very expensive. (More expensive than in the Bijenkorf NL) Price and quality are hard to find. Coffee in the small pot had no taste, so it wasn't from the machine. Chocolate milk was also far from tasty. Very disappointed!!!

A restaurant with a beautiful location directly on the Rhine. Nice and friendly service. Unfortunately, the food didn't confirm the first good impression. The menu consisted of a mix of meat dishes, Zurich Geschnetzeltes, pasta and Asian dishes. It was noticeable that a number of additional numbers were listed in many dishes. So a lot of work is done with finished products. The Wiener Schnitzel we ordered was obviously a pre-made product. Schnitzel €24, mushroom sauce (also a convenience product) came with an extra €3. So a total of €27 for a schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fried potatoes is simply too much for a meal that mainly consists of convenience products.

Almost nothing open, but Hof van Holland is! On request, I was allowed to order a curry sausage for dinner (was until 5 p.m.). Nice meal!

Nice atmosphere, nice staff, good food

Price/performance at breakfast is very poor. Coffee cannot be described as such, sausage/cheese/jam has the taste of supermarket goods. Unfriendly management of the restaurant, only the service was ok.

Of course we ate Schnitzel. While you are in Germany. Received a large plate with 2 breaded schnitzels. It seemed like a lot. That said everything. The meat was ok, but very thin slices. The paneer was very dry and came loose from the Schnitzel. Everything fell off too and to be honest, it was unedible with paneer. In the end I still had a full plate with a pile of crispy/hard breadcrumbs. Quite a disappointment. If only I had gone to the neighbor's, who has really delicious schnitzels. Better luck next time.

Very nice and friendly to recommend

Typical German restaurant. Dishes offered without frills. Meat and fish from the fryer. Service is friendly.

Nice coffee and delicious pastries. Pastries are expensive. 4.90 per point. Coffee 5.50, but then you have 2 cups that you can pour from a jug.

A day in Germany with our group of friends. (Emmerich) Because we were with a group, it was fun. Due to the crowds, the food was not very special. Fries were raw which were served with the dishes.

We have been to this restaurant several times now and have never been disappointed. In my opinion, the prices are absolutely reasonable and the service is very attentive and friendly. In my review at the time, I criticized the cool-looking furnishings, which I would now like to revise with some new furnishings.

Very nice restaurant right on the Rhine

Very disappointing. Previously eaten here when it was good, but now.... Not worth repeating. Dry and tasteless schnitzel. Mushroom sauce only tasted of bound salt. There was hardly anyone there on Friday evening. Should have been a sign already. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Friendly staff

Verleden jaar hier geweest. Was goed. Nu een afknapper. Schnitzel droog en smaakloos. Bijgerecht naar keuze.... Niet dus. Kregen een zoute "champignonsaus". En melige patat (wel warm) Prijzen omhoog gegaan maar de kwaliteit omlaag. Er was ook bijna niemand in deze zaak op vrijdagavond. Personeel wel vriendelijk.

You can sit here on a boulevard with a view of the Rhine. We used the lunch menu here twice. The menu is varied. Something for everyone. Friendly and service-oriented people work here. We would love to come back again when we are in the area.

Being able to sit directly on the Rhine on the promenade, in wonderful weather, in a clean restaurant. Very attentive staff. Great cuisine and the schnitzel dishes are absolutely recommended. We felt very well looked after. As soon as we were seated the drinks were taken immediately. The drinks were delivered less than 5 minutes later and the food was at the table less than 20 minutes later. Highly recommended. You can eat and go out very well here without any worries. If you're traveling with your dog, it's a great location where your four-legged friends are still welcome.

Hamburger vreselijk droog, en de schnitzel was meer paneer dan vlees. We gingen er heen vanwege de vele positieve reacties, maar ik zal hier niet nog een keer heen gaan. Weinig vriendelijkheid bij de man die ons bediende, kortom wat zonde van onze tijd en geld.

Well, you can really eat here. But it's not really that great. I would choose something else. A radler is not a beer with 7up But I got that instead of a radler. A bit of a shame. The schnitsel wiener art was very thin. View was fine.

Graag eet ik vegetarisch,als er op de kaart dan ook gevulde aubergine staat ben ik verkocht. HetTurkse gerecht Imam Bayaldi kwam helemaal bij me voor ogen. Het gerecht met marktgroenten, tomatensaus,couscous en salade ging het worden. NEE DUS!!! Het werd geen gevulde aubergine, maar stukjes van deze eierplant met courgette en vooral veel wortel. Geen couscous en salade, of dat moeten de 3 reepjes rucola geweest zijn als garnering. Navraag natuurlijk, een even grote desillusie. De collega had waarschijnlijk iets vergeten door te strepen op de kaart. Bovendien hadden ze zondermeer geen couscous in de keuken en over de salade werd niet gerept. Laat staan dat er excuses over de lippen kwam van de restaurantleider. Lieve mensen laat je niet misleiden door de mooie beloftes op de kaart, beter nog laat dit restaurant absoluut aan je voorbijgaan.

Personeel loopt er niet echt vrolijk en gemotiveerd bij. Eten krijgt een 7 en uitzicht een 9. Cursus lachen en vriendelijkheid zou veel goed doen. .

The staff is not really happy about it. Food gets a 7 and view a 9. Laughter and friendliness course is recommended for the staff. What an unfriendly bunch!

They don't know the difference between frit sauce and mayonnaise here. The waiter threw away the frit sauce, causing him to drop two ice cream sundaes. Last year the service and meal were much better. Our dog got my share.

Mega nice restaurant, great view, very tasty food and very friendly staff. You have to give it 5 stars. We come from near Dortmund and even with that you can't compare the food because it tastes much better here. If it were to give 10 stars I would give 10 stars give 🥰

We were very dissatisfied. I had a schnitzel with hunter's sauce, the schnitzel was so thin and there were only two mushrooms in the sauce. Overpriced for the price. That was the first and last time

Despite the high rating, I still found our visit somewhat disappointing. We ended up at this location looking for a tasty schnitzel. The schnitzel was tasty but the mushroom sauce was a bit disappointing. The service we had didn't speak Dutch, which of course I can't blame them for. However, it didn't seem to break a smile, which is a shame. From the terrace you have a view of the Rhine, with the occasional container ship sailing past.

More like mass processing, you have to make yourself very noticeable if you want something. Nobody really comes by themselves. Kind of strange when the customer has to take the initiative. Views of the Rhine and the bridge are very beautiful

You look outside at the Rhine (but you can't see much of it when you sit because the quay wall is so high) Last year we only had one coffee, but it took a long time until one came. Today we had it again, you are initially ignored for a longer time, even if it is not full. The drinks were then brought to us and we didn't even ask if we wanted to order something to eat, the waitress left so quickly. So wait. At some point we told a waiter that we wanted to order something and we should wait a moment. After ordering, it took a long time until the simple meal (omelet and a rice dish) arrived. It was too salty. The side salad was a joke (my leaves were limp) but it was definitely too expensive. A little more attention to the guests would be desirable.

The Wiener Schnitzel was absolutely meaningless.

Very nice view of the Rhine And then it stops Eating very large portions without any taste. Wiener Schnitzel tasted like nothing and everything was missing. Fries without salt. Salad: 3 leaves of lettuce, 1/4 tomato and a slice of cucumber. Staff hardly pay any attention to you.

Breakfast is ok so far, unfortunately there are no fresh rolls. The scrambled eggs don't taste good at all and the price is also very exorbitant for the quantity.

Always good food here, it was a while ago but it all still looks the same as 10 years ago. Nice and cozy, staff can speak Dutch and German (most) German sandwiches are the best..

The best compliment is the view and an existing terrace. The service seems disorganized and restless. Not particularly inviting. Toilet is fine and even a changing mat is available.

Very engaged staff ,attentive.The food was more than we could eat. We took the grill plate for 2 people. Regarding the prices,it might be a little over the normal ones,but you do get to enjoy the view, which is one of the best.

Based on the positive reviews regarding the food that have been described so far, we can only say that we were unlucky today. The Carrpacchio was served to my wife frozen, my pork loins were lukewarm. There was no apology or accommodation. It was also uncomfortable that the waiter was anxious to clear everything away as quickly as possible as soon as you were finished. There is no relationship between price and performance. Well, ticked off and next time don't go to the first restaurant on site🤗

Service arrogant, can't say thank you. Then you have to wait an hour for 4 small dishes. When you get the food it is a huge disappointment. Pasta carbonara, as greasy as if it contained a whole pack of whipped cream. Sandwich spread like ham…. Pasta bolognese, why is there pineapple in this??? The meat was bone dry but the sauce was ridiculously watery. Selling cold fries and curry from a bottle as currywurst...this is not possible. Add a little bit of fries and then also have to pay for the mayo...

Upon arrival we were allowed to choose a table ourselves, with a beautiful view of the boulevard from the window. We were asked if we wanted something to eat or drink, were given the menu and asked for drinks ourselves. Modest young man in the ministry. Received delicious coffee, and a little later a very large portion of food. Snitzels were deliciously fried, crispy crust and still tender. The fries are also beautifully golden and everything is nice and warm. Well, I missed the tomato ketchup and asked for it. Received 1 portion pack. When I get home I look at the receipt again and to my surprise you pay 3 euros at this place!!!!!for the tomato ketchup. The cappuccino was not that pricey. I am still surprised that they charge 3 euros for a bag of ketchup. The delicious food did have an aftertaste.....

Het meest smerige eten ooit in een restaurant gegeten, broodjes waren oud en taai, kroketten in te koud vet gebakken, kortom 2 kroketten met 2 oude broodjes voor €11,50 , deze eigenaar moeten ze met pek en veren het dorp uit smijten, geen restaurant waard

We ordered tagliatelle with shrimps and Viennese-style schnitzel. The tagliatelle came in a very heavy sauce with few shrimps (five larger ones and one small) and little flavor. For the price you would have expected a little more shrimp in the sauce. My husband enjoyed the schnitzel and had little to complain about. The furnishings are very, very simple. The view directly onto the Rhine is beautiful. The service was very nice and attentive.

Das Essen hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, ich hatte die Schweinemedaillons,die noch halb roh waren ,mein Mann hatte Fisch ,der auch noch halb roh war.Essen kann ich nicht empfehlen. Hier gehe ich bestimmt nicht mehr essen ,trotz Kritik und ,die haben ja auch gesehen ,das das Fleisch roh war ,musste ich den kompletten Preis bezahlen,das ist ne Frechheit..wir gehen da nicht mehr essen .

Zeer goed hotel met de goede service. Kamer was schoon en badkamer pico Bello. Wat jammer was dat de kussens niet veel voor stelde. Wel een aandachtspuntje.

Ooit hier beland toen in Corona tijd de horeca in Nederland gesloten was en in Duitsland nog open. Sinds die tijd hier regelmatig gegegeten (lunch) maar vandaag toch onaangenaam verrast bij de rekening. Het eten was prima. Zoals altijd (lunch) een lekker schitzel besteld maar vandaag was deze ongevraagd gewijzigd in een kalfsschnitzel. Daarnaast moest apart betaald worden (€3) voor een klein bakje pepersaus en apart betaald worden voor een klein standaard zakje (€1) mayonaise. Hierdoor moest ik €30,90 afrekenen voor een schitzel met frites en een klein (0,3) alcohol vrij biertje. Dat is toch wel een beetje al te gortig.

Wat een kansloze eet gelegenheid. Vraag of ik wat kan eten, het was tussen de middag. Komt hij met een avondkaart warme gerechten aanzetten. Ik zeg heb je kroketten op brood?? Nee dat kon niet. Kreeg daarna een lunch kaart. Geef die dan gelijk. Uitsmijter besteld. Mega vet, en 1 witte droge oude geroosterde boterham 🥪 3,4kg sla en bruine oude 🥬 sla !! Vraag om nog een boterham Krijg ik nog een droge oude boterham met ingedroogde rand al. Slecht slecht slecht. Bediening arrogant ⚠️ Enige wat goed is is het uitzicht, en de koffie En €13,40 voor 1 koffie en uitsmijter van €8,90 Volgens mij heeft hij zich nog verrekend ook. Nog ff over de reactie van de eigenaar. Blijkbaar gebruikt u de kreet mensen maken fouten en het blijft mensenwerk En corona tijd. Maar al te graag. Het is juist bij mensenwerk collega’s er op toe te zien dat er scherp en netjes gewerkt word. ipv telkens bij elke reactie je kop in het zand steken, en de smoezen trommel lostrekken. De omelet heb ik niet besteld maar een uitsmijter. Dat hij dan een omelet serveert. De sla 34 kg is bewijze van spreken. De hoeveelheid sla ,, kom op man. En je medewerker heb ik aangesproken over of dit de standaard is? Bij jullie 1 oude droge boterham. En als ik een broodje had willen eten was dan maar een bakker gegaan. Blijkbaar kunt u slecht tegen verbeterde kritiek m b t het verbeteren van jou eetschuur. Je kan op de foto’szien hoe oud droog dat brood is. Hou op met je eigen straatje schoonvegen. En doe er wat mee..😌
