I went there with a friend. The new owner is very friendly and attentive. You rarely find something like that. The food was delicious and highly recommended. We were greeted by the kitchen with four tapas and four different homemade dips. Finally, a farewell treat from the kitchen: homemade baklava and chocolate cake. Everything was very appetizingly presented. If there were six stars, I would give them that, too. Thank you very much.

We paid €30 per person for a great meal, including a starter, main course, and dessert. The waiter was super nice and explained everything to us. We were also lucky because there was a wedding taking place in the church next door. This restaurant is highly recommended at the end of a tour; you can sit inside or outside.

We definitely recommend the restaurant. It is in a quiet location and parking spaces can be used by companies, especially on weekends. The food is varied but clear and a lot of it is Arabic. Nice restaurant with a bright dining room and a small terrace. The menu ranges from oriental dishes to pasta and burgers. The greeting from the kitchen was fantastic! Our main courses were also very tasty and generous. The service was nice and attentive. Unfortunately there wasn't much going on during our visit. That's a real shame, because the Herrgottswinkel is really worth a visit.

The ambience is super nice, the staff is very friendly and the service is really excellent. The new oriental cuisine is something completely different and unique in the area. The starters are super delicious, lovingly designed and unique in taste. The main courses are really big and plentiful and due to the delicious starters and the large portion of the main course there was unfortunately no room for a dessert - but that will be made up for! Highly recommended!

Hidden but worth it! The traditional Heusweiler restaurant has been cooking oriental dishes since January. So chicken or lamb with roasted wheat grains, pine nuts, bulgur and eggplant and always seasoned with a touch of the Orient. The whole thing is very tasty and also very plentiful. If you don't dare to try it at first, you can try out this really special cuisine with chicken breast, beef steak, salmon fillet or classic burger. Also recommended are the starter dips made from pureed chickpeas, peppers, bulgur or pomegranate, as well as the not at all overpoweringly sweet baklava and chocolate rolls for dessert. The service is attentive and is happy to advise guests well. Overall, a real enrichment next to all the pizzerias and kebab shops that are otherwise in town. We can only hope that many guests find their way to the somewhat remote Herrgottswinkel.

Today we went on a trip to Heusweiler with the family, everyone was more than satisfied, the food was at the table very quickly and the dishes were all super tasty.

Today we spontaneously decided to have dinner at Herrgottswinkel based on the very good reviews. Unfortunately, I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. The pictures and menu that can be found online on the website are not correct. I ordered tagliatelle with shrimp and garlic. I got tagliatelle with crabs. I could have lived with that, but the noodles were floating in a thick, I would describe it as pasta water that thickened it with no spices other than lemon juice. I have no idea. I had to let the dish go back. The grill plate was absolutely overpriced at €28 The skewers were frozen and the dips would be forgotten. We ordered a portion of fries for our daughter and got potato wedges, no problem, thinking there was only one type, then at some point fries arrived... Strange I'm really sorry to have to give this review, but today was subpar...

We visited the restaurant with 4 people. The waiter was very attentive but not intrusive. From the starter to the dessert, everything was freshly prepared. All 4 dishes were exceptionally good, the price/performance ratio was great! Recommended with all my heart!

Dear guest, complaining about small portions and drowned fries. We are very sorry that we could not meet your high standards. The fact that you were still freezing here, even though our heating was set to 22 degrees all day, is of course very unpleasant. I will immediately turn the heating up to a cozy 30 degrees. However, since I have read your other very bad reviews of companies based here, I have come to the conclusion that this is simply your way of badmouthing others. It's also very easy to write about others online instead of communicating directly with the person and talking about their mistakes. You should consider this at your next assessment.

Absolutely disappointing!! Winter and heating is on the back burner, portion, especially fries for this price too little and drowned on the plate, steak.....well!! Definitely there won't be a second time!!

War heute zum ersten mal dort zum Essen .Aber nicht zum letzten mal. Schönes Restaurant und tolles Ambiente.

Waren mit Freunden hier im Urlaub und waren überrascht der Freundlichkeit der Saarländer. Absolut top. Und das Essen im Restaurant absolut lecker und frisch angerichtet. Nettes Personal und toller Bedienservice. Immer ein Lächeln 😃. Beim nächsten Urlaub hier kommen wir sehr gern wieder und werden das Restaurant bis dahin gern weiterempfehlen.

Nicht viel Auswahl auf der Speisekarte und sehr fleischlastig. Dafür aber liebevoll zubereitet und man geht auf manche Essenswünsche ein. Ein Schwätzchen mit dem Wirt und auch der Bedienung wird gern gehalten. Eine schöne Auszeit nach einem Spaziergang.

Ich hatte im Vorfeld kaum Informationen über dieses Restaurant gefunden. Wir waren gestern Abend dort und waren sehr positiv übrrascht - sehr schönes Lokal, leckeres Essen, nette Gastwirtin. Die Speisenauswahl war gut und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. 14-tägig wird donnerstags ein Tapas-Abend angeboten. Ich stelle mal ein paar Fotos über die aktuelle Speisekarte und das Essen ein. Ich kann das Restaurant empfehlen und wir werden sicher wieder dort hin gehen.

Reasonably priced restaurant (compared to the rather pricey neighbours down the road!). Delicious home cooked meals - we enjoyed the Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes and the mixed pork and chicken in mushroom sauce (I couldn’t get enough of that as it was SO tasty!) with rice instead of pasta. The mixed salad we had for starters was also delicious. Good choice of wine and beer. Very friendly and helpful owners. Restaurant interior nicely decorated and the beautifully restored cellars where the toilets are were very impressive and impeccably clean. We ate outside as it was a warm night and the tables and chairs with bright colourful cushions were very comfortable. We had an excellent experience and will definitely return!

War gestern zum ersten mal dort mit meiner Familie. Mega gutes Essen Preis Leistung absolut top. Freundliche Bedienung. Keine Langen Wartezeiten. Salat Soße sehr sehr 😋. Schnitzel sehr,lecker Dessert hausgemacht ebenfalls sehr lecker. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Immer wieder SEHR gerne. Das Schweinefilet kann so sonst keiner. Immer auf den Punkt gegart. Zum empfehlen ist auch der Salat mit Ziegenkäse.

Schöne Atmosphäre, gutes Essen und eine nette Bedienung

Naja. Wo fang ich an. Hatten 2 Essen bestellt. einmal Schnitzel mit Pommes und zusätzlich dazu Champion Rahmsauce und 1 mal Schweinemedailions mit Kroketten laut Internetkarte. Das Schnitzel viel zu Dunkel frittiert, Und es hatte einen sehr fischigen Nachgeschmack, wovon auch immer. Die Rahmsauce die wir dazu bestellt hatten war...... mir fehlen die Worte, bestand wohl nur aus einem Becher Sahne und aus ein paar Pilzen Gewürze konnte man nur erahnen. Das zweite Essen war nicht der Bestellung entsprechend kennen wohl ihre Karte nicht. Es gab Bratkartoffeln dazu statt Kroketten . Fazit Schnitzel und Sauce nicht essbar. Medallions und Bratkartoffeln gingen gerade so. Das war das erste und letzte mal dort.

Es gibt dort gutes essen doch qls vegitarier musst du gucken dass du dir etwas zusammenstellst was aber mit einer netten bedienung funktioniert
