Traumhafte Lage an der Wakenitz, sehr gute deutsche Küche - das hausgemachte Roastbeef ist ein Gedicht - sehr netter Service und das alles bei Sonnenuntergang

Super super super unhöflicher Service ! Wir kamen anderthalb Stunden vor Ladenschluss und uns wurden die Karten wortwörtlich hingeschmissen mit den Worten „Ja die Küche steht hier schon seit 10:00 Uhr! Sie haben genau 5 Minuten zum bestellen!“ Wo bleibt da bitte die Gastfreundschaft? Einmal und nie wieder - danke für nichts

Die Sonne lacht, das perfekte Wetter um den Heimathafen aufzusuchen. Unser Tisch ist reserviert, das war auch wichtig, denn heute brummt hier der Laden. Spargel ist im Angebot, gute Qualität, bissfest, wie angekündigt, dazu ein Riesenschnitzel, leider etwas zu lange gebraten. Getränke sind passend, gut gekühlt der leckere Weißwein, sehr ordentlich auch der Aperol. Freundlicher Service, anschließend noch ein Gläschen im Liegestuhl mit Blick auf die Wakenitz. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

Es ist für uns die erste Wahl wenn wir essen gehen wollen. Hier stimmt einfach alles,die wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Wakenitz,tolles Personal,-immer freundlich und sehr bemüht um dem Gast ein Wohlfühlambiente zu bieten,super leckeres Essen.wir sind durch Zufall auf dieses Lokal gestossen. Eine der wenigen Lokationen in Lübeck, bei denen ich total zufrieden bin. Im Sommer schön im Liegesessel am Wasser das Bier oder den Wein geniessen. Essen, ob Fisch oder Fleisch, Bratkartoffel oder Pommes, ich war bisher noch nie unzufrieden. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und ich freue mich auf den Frühling/Sommer, wenn wir nach einer Radtour dort wieder einkehren. Das Supersympatische Team und Besitzerpaar nicht zu vergessen.

Ein echtes Kleinod an der Wakenitz! Der Heimathafen überzeugt mit gutbürgerlicher Küche, fein und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Gerichte sind bodenständig, dabei geschmacklich auf den Punkt und schön angerichtet. Dazu kommt die herrliche Lage am Wasser und ein rundum angenehmes Ambiente. Freundlicher Service rundet das Erlebnis ab – hier kommt man gern wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Die Fotos sind eine Auswahl unserer leckeren Gerichte. Wir waren mit 15 Personen (davon 3 Kinder) vor Ort. Wir hatten reserviert und unsere Auswahl per Telefon vorbestellt. Ein Gericht konnte sogar noch zu Beginn abbestellt und in ein Gericht der Winterkarte getauscht werden. Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Dessert hervorragend. Vielen Dank für den guten Service. Gesessen haben wir im "Gruppenraum" was für uns ein toller Service war.

A wonderful place with perfect hosts, what we thought was perfect service, delicious food, and unparalleled friendliness.

There was a maggot in the salad. They simply remade the dish and brought it back. Just a small apology. The meal had to be paid for as usual, and drinks or anything similar weren't on the house either!

A dream location, complemented by fantastic cuisine and topped off by wonderful service! We were immediately greeted warmly, or rather, "welcomed"; home, in a nutshell. The currywurst is so fantastic that the rest of the menu will have to wait until our next visit. A place to be, to linger, to meet people, and to indulge yourself! Don't believe it? Then come here and see for yourself! Not doing so would be a huge mistake! And: "I don't have any cash..." doesn't count as an excuse: ALL credit cards are accepted! 😀

You can sit on lounge chairs by the water and just have a drink or eat something on the terrace. A quiet place.

Beautiful location, and the food is tasty and plentiful. No one goes home hungry. Nicole served us and made us feel very welcome. We ate there two days in a row. When I'm back in Lübeck, I'll definitely stop by again.

The restaurant is solid. Nothing exceptional, friendly service, but everything is a bit dated. The garden, including the beer truck, is very neglected. Even if it's part of the image, it's unfortunate that they haven't made more of this great location. True to the motto: minimum effort, maximum return.

Amazingly beautiful location directly on the Trave River with mooring pontoons for canoeists and SUPs. A large green area in front is perfect for sunbathing and playing. You can go swimming or enjoy the sunset with a cold drink and bratwurst from a sales trailer overlooking the water. Alternatively, you can enjoy delicious and affordable food, drinks, and sunbathing on the restaurant terrace directly behind it, or dine in the cozy interior. Very friendly staff caters to all your needs. Bicycle parking is available on site. However, arriving by car is not recommended, as the residential road is always very busy.

There were four of us, including a wheelchair and a walker. A small ramp was quickly brought out for the step at the entrance, and we were in. Perfect food, very friendly service (everyone), and a generous plate. The prices are also very reasonable. Reservations are recommended. The view of the Wakenitz River is stunning. The only thing is that you have to walk a few meters, as there are only a few parking spaces, but it's worth it.

Yes, we had a good meal, and the service was quick and friendly. We were a little sad that we couldn't eat outside on this beautiful summer evening, but still: a nice place in a great location on the Wakenitz River.

The food was very good. The kitchen was also very quick. However, the service staff was extremely rude. Even though the food and the view of the Wakenitz were excellent, we won't be coming back.

A great beer garden right on the water🥰 Friendly people, good food, great beers, and delicious Chardonnay. Eight of us were in the restaurant👍 We particularly liked the "Heimathafen 3erlei" - we'll be back.

After a bike ride along the Wakenitz River, we ate there. The fish dish was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. I 100% recommend the Heimathafen!

A beautiful spot right on the Wakenitz River – relaxed atmosphere, loungers by the water, delicious drinks, and snacks. We would have loved to stay longer. What made us leave, however, was a clearly visible cannabis-prohibition sign. Although we didn't want to consume anything ourselves, we were bothered by the contrast: alcohol is served as a matter of course, even in front of children, while cannabis is explicitly prohibited. Of course, it's the house rules that must be respected here. Nevertheless, we believe that cannabis, just like alcohol, can be consumed responsibly. A little more openness and tolerance could help ensure that no one is excluded and make this beautiful place even more pleasant for all guests.

Found it through information from another restaurant owner. It's absolutely beautiful. Very good food. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in Lübeck. It's practically a must.

The ambiance, right on the Wakenitz River, is fantastic. There's a small drinks stand outside the restaurant, but it's part of it. Beach loungers are set up near the shore. The food is decent, and the staff is very friendly. In my opinion, the drink prices are quite steep, but the view is unique.

Anyone who rated this positively wasn't there. The service? Underground. The food? Well. Neither good nor bad. Ambiance? Well... if you've ever been to a cosmopolitan city, you wouldn't go here.

Am 11.01.2025 waren wir, 8 Freunde, zum Essen im "Heimathafen" verabredet. Gesamte Stimmung in der Location war sehr gut. Wir bestellten unterschiedliche Gerichte, darunter auch einige Grünkohlgerichte. Leider fielen die Urteile der 5 Grünhohlesser durchgängig schlecht aus ! Matschiger Kohl, säuerlich schmeckende "Kohlwürste", die gar nicht wie Kohlwürste schmeckten, die Schweinebacke leicht angebrant, ebenso die angeblich karamellisierten Bratkartoffeln. Die übrigen Essen kamen erheblich besser weg. Insgesamt sehen wir den Besuch dort als Versuch, der auf keinen Fall wiederholt wird ! Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis fiel beim Grünkohlgericht leider sehr schlecht aus. Andreas G. Freiberg

Today we didn't feel like cooking for ourselves at very short notice and had a delicious meal here in the "home port". We love the fried potatoes and had herring and sour meat with them, which created a taste explosion in our mouths with every bite. But that's only half of the perfect evening The team was once again super nice and perfect. Behind this good chef are the service colleagues who do a perfect job. Always a smile on your lips and sometimes a joke on your neck. perfect service

Basically a good location for a summer evening. However, if you are a non-smoker you have no chance. Smoke and more smoke everywhere. Looking for summer air in vain.

Super tasty, fresh food with very high quality. The waitresses were super friendly and quick and always courteous. We'd love to come back. Perhaps it would be advisable to reserve in advance, as the restaurant was extremely full and we were only lucky enough to get a table...

Nice place, right on the Wakenitz. However, bulgur salad with chicken breast for over €19 is overpriced. After dinner we wanted to have a drink and had to leave our table because other guests wanted to eat..

We were on the water in the canoes for 12 hours and were really happy when we saw the restaurant from the water. 12:00, there were employees working in the front garden. When we asked if we could get a coffee here, the employee replied very unfriendly and stroppy: "5 p.m.!!!!" When asked a second time, the same unfriendly “5 p.m.!!!”. It's a shame, the staff was incredibly unfriendly... we will never stop here again

A DREAM - EVEN THOUGH NOT A TABLE WAS FREE - WE GOT ONE OFFERED IN A SHORT TIME (109) - WE DIDN'T NEED A MENU - THE DAILY DISH ALWAYS WORKS - BUT OF COURSE THE DISHES ARE ALSO OUTSTANDING ON THE MAP - SINCE WE WERE THERE ON 3 DAYS IN A DREAMY AMBIENCE FINISH THE DAY ON THE WAKENITZ - ON THE LAST DAY WITH A GORGEOUS SUNSET WITH COOL DRINKS AND BUNS WITH BRATHERING TOP!!! THEN THE BOSSES GET TO KNOW AND ALMOST STAYED "PICKING" - STAYED HANGING - PLAYED A FEW AUSTRO POP SONGS EXTRA FOR US..... The restaurant is located in a residential area directly on the hiking trail on the Wakenitz with a view of the Wakenitz. Very nice and competent service, delicious food, we really liked it. If we are in Lübeck again, we would definitely go here again.

The small but fine restaurant "Heimathafen" is part of the "Saglerverein Wakenitz" and is located directly on the Wakenitz in a residential area. The menu includes a whole range of regional meat and fish dishes, soups and salad variations. When it comes to drinks, in addition to the usual standards of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, there is also a very nice selection of wines on offer. With appropriate rooms, small to medium-sized celebrations and anniversaries can also be held there. Our service staff was very attentive and service-oriented. The food served was fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back here.

The two of us were there unannounced in the best weather and were fortunately offered a place at a table with two other guests. Although all the outdoor spaces were occupied and it was very warm, all the employees were in a good mood, attentive and friendly. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was very tasty. This review is long overdue, as I was able to spend a very nice evening with colleagues in the home port in January. We come more often now. Keep it up!
