Were there today, November 17th, 2024. My best friend celebrated her birthday there. Very tasty food, very friendly and attentive service. All in all just great. Will definitely come back.

The service: The waiter was soo friendly and soo attentive! The ambience: so beautiful. There are painting supplies and something to read for children. The food: super tasty. Absolutely recommend the walnut starters 🤩

Today we didn't feel like cooking for ourselves at very short notice and had a delicious meal here in the "home port". We love the fried potatoes and had herring and sour meat with them, which created a taste explosion in our mouths with every bite. But that's only half of the perfect evening The team was once again super nice and perfect. Behind this good chef are the service colleagues who do a perfect job. Always a smile on your lips and sometimes a joke on your neck. perfect service

Super tasty, fresh food with very high quality. The waitresses were super friendly and quick and always courteous. We'd love to come back. Perhaps it would be advisable to reserve in advance, as the restaurant was extremely full and we were only lucky enough to get a table...

Nice place, right on the Wakenitz. However, bulgur salad with chicken breast for over €19 is overpriced. After dinner we wanted to have a drink and had to leave our table because other guests wanted to eat..

We were on the water in the canoes for 12 hours and were really happy when we saw the restaurant from the water. 12:00, there were employees working in the front garden. When we asked if we could get a coffee here, the employee replied very unfriendly and stroppy: "5 p.m.!!!!" When asked a second time, the same unfriendly “5 p.m.!!!”. It's a shame, the staff was incredibly unfriendly... we will never stop here again

A DREAM - EVEN THOUGH NOT A TABLE WAS FREE - WE GOT ONE OFFERED IN A SHORT TIME (109) - WE DIDN'T NEED A MENU - THE DAILY DISH ALWAYS WORKS - BUT OF COURSE THE DISHES ARE ALSO OUTSTANDING ON THE MAP - SINCE WE WERE THERE ON 3 DAYS IN A DREAMY AMBIENCE FINISH THE DAY ON THE WAKENITZ - ON THE LAST DAY WITH A GORGEOUS SUNSET WITH COOL DRINKS AND BUNS WITH BRATHERING TOP!!! THEN THE BOSSES GET TO KNOW AND ALMOST STAYED "PICKING" - STAYED HANGING - PLAYED A FEW AUSTRO POP SONGS EXTRA FOR US..... The restaurant is located in a residential area directly on the hiking trail on the Wakenitz with a view of the Wakenitz. Very nice and competent service, delicious food, we really liked it. If we are in Lübeck again, we would definitely go here again.

I was there for the first time. The menu isn't that big, nor does it have to be. The food was very tasty and enough 😋 The service was top. 👍 I'll definitely go there again.

The small but fine restaurant "Heimathafen" is part of the "Saglerverein Wakenitz" and is located directly on the Wakenitz in a residential area. The menu includes a whole range of regional meat and fish dishes, soups and salad variations. When it comes to drinks, in addition to the usual standards of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, there is also a very nice selection of wines on offer. With appropriate rooms, small to medium-sized celebrations and anniversaries can also be held there. Our service staff was very attentive and service-oriented. The food served was fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back here.

The two of us were there unannounced in the best weather and were fortunately offered a place at a table with two other guests. Although all the outdoor spaces were occupied and it was very warm, all the employees were in a good mood, attentive and friendly. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was very tasty. This review is long overdue, as I was able to spend a very nice evening with colleagues in the home port in January. We come more often now. Keep it up!

You can eat and drink very tasty here. Whether it's a schnitzel for when you're really hungry, or simply a cocktail to enjoy. There is something for everyone here. The staff is friendly and your wishes are fulfilled very quickly. And the whole thing is so beautifully located

We had our Christmas party here with over 30 people. Everything worked wonderfully, no long wait for drinks, the food (kale/roulades) was very good and was served hot, quickly and absolutely plentifully, lovingly decorated. Friendly owners and nice staff. Absolutely great! In summer it must be wonderful on the terrace, right on the Wakenitz.

We ended up there purely by chance and were very happy to have found this beautiful restaurant. The staff was extremely child-friendly and overall very nice. The food and the menu left nothing to be desired and everything was very tasty. Even the children's meals, in our case the nuggets, were homemade and not run-of-the-mill nuggets. It was definitely not our last visit there and the atmosphere is also very cozy.

This is a known place to many locals but a bit off the beaten path for most Luebeck visitors, located in a regular suburb neighborhood a little outside of downtown… but, if you are looking for a delicious dinner with nice riverside atmosphere at a fair price, it is worth finding. My family lives in Luebeck and I was back for a visit and had a hankering for a traditional “Gruenkohl” dinner last night, a seasonal German dish. Restaurants in town were booked, so my family took me here, which seems to be mainly a fish restaurant but also has other specialties and standby meat and sausage dishes. In summer, the restaurant has an outdoor lawn patio adjoining the river where food is served. Since it was November, we were seated in a warm and inviting inside space with candles and flowers on the table. Service was prompt and friendly. Our Gruenkohl was perfectly cooked and seasoned, served with a choice of meats and fried potatoes. Children got noodles and curry wurst with fries and were very happy as well. Neighboring tables had delicious looking stews and fish dishes delivered, all with generous portions. The entire experience was excellent. We left full and happy.

Nicht nur mit dem ADFC, sondern auch mit dem Kajak wird man hier bestens bedient. Heute auf unserer Kajaktour sind wir bestens aufgenommen worden. Nach einem Kaffee am Vormittag ging es mit aufgewärmt Fingern weiter. Also ich bin hier gerne. Fahrrad oder Kajak ist egal. LG,Thomas

Mir hat mein erster ,aber nicht letzter Besuch sehr gut gefallen. Ich hatte einen köstlichen Bulgursalat mit Hähnchen und fand ihn lecker. Schöne Aussicht und nettes Ambiente

Ich war das erste Mal im Heimathafen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Lokal hat einen familiären Flair. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön aufeinander abgestimmt, die Wirtsleute haben ein gutes Gefühl für ein gelungenes Ambiente. Das Lokal ist gut besucht, bei meinem nächste Lübeck Besuch, gerne wieder.

Per Zufall sind wir heute Abend auf dieses freundliche, einladende Restaurant gestossen. Die Bedienung war super nett und unkomliziert, das Essen sehr gut und reichlich. Wir assen Matjes und Pannfisch, tranken einen ausgezeichneten Grau-Burgunder und ja, der Espresso am Schluss war wirklich buonissimo!

Schönes Restaurant an der Wakenitz. Ich hatte Hamburger Pannfisch, sehr lecker und eine große Portion. Das Restaurant liegt abseits von großen Straßen, es ist sehr ruhig und der Blick auf die Wakenitz ist sehr entspannend. Freundliches Personal runden das schöne Erlebnis ab!

Könnte ich einen Stern geben - würdet Ihr ihn von mir erhalten - natürlich den "Michelin Stern". Olaf, Gabi und Marta & Co. - Ihr seid ´ne Wucht. Authentische Location mit tollem Blick über die Wakenitz, dazu ein umfangreiches Angebot meist regionaler Speisen, beste Qualität und sehr lecker zubereitet. Jever Pils frisch vom Fass gut eingestellt, mit hervorragendender Krone gezapft.

Hervorragendes Essen, super nette Bedienung und das Ambiente an der Wakenitz, sowieso unbezahlbar. Immer wieder gern.

Trotz vollem Haus zum Auftakt des Pfingstwochenendes haben wir beiden einen Platz bekommen. Das kurze Warten haben wir uns in den Strandstühlen am Wasser vertrieben. Die Limo nicht einmal halb ausgetrunken, hat uns die sehr freundliche Bedienung schon zu einem Tisch geleitet. Viel zu tun, und das gut eingespielte Team immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Großartig. Dazu noch leckeres Essen. Perfekt. Wir kommen wieder!

Nettes Lokal mit schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten am Wasser. Hier darf man keine gehobene Küche erwarten, aber die Speisen sind Klassiker, werden frisch zubereitet und überzeugen durch guten Geschmack. Außerdem wird man freundlich bedient und die Preise sind angemessen. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung für ein Essen am Wasser.

In den Sommer Monaten ist es das Highlight schlecht hin. Wer zum frühen Abend den Tag ausklingen möchte in der Abendsonne beim Gläschen Wein oder einem Bier oder eine Kleinigkeit noch essen möchte ist hier absolut richtig. Der große Garten mit direkten Blick auf Lübecks 7-Türme & der Wakenitz ist hier Gold richtig. Die Preise sind absolut Fair, es gibt ein kleinen Foodtruck im Sommer mit Lecker Kuchen, Fischbrötchen, uvm. … Das Essen ist spitze, die Karte ist jetzt nicht Riesen groß, aber es ist absolut für jeden etwas dabei. Geheimtipp ist tatsächlich Currywurst Pommes oder aber das Bauernfrühstück. Die Bedienung ist absolut freundlich und man hat eine super Kulisse durch diesen einmaligen Blick auf das Wasser und die Skyline der Lübecker Altstadt.

Das Restaurant Heimathafen in Lübeck ist wirklich ein Schmuckstück direkt an der Wakenitz. Bei schönem Wetter kann man super auf der Terrasse sitzen, aber auch innen gibt es einiges her. Die Karte ist klein aber fein. Das Essen ist vorzüglich.
