Ein schön angelegtes Restaurant mit mexikanischen Speisen Die Auswahl ist sehr ordentlich und geschmacklich sehr überzeugend. Ich hatte Fajitas und als Vorspeise Pflaumen im Speckmantel, beide Gerichte sind absolut empfehlenswert - die Portionsgröße ist auch für den großen Hunger geeignet. Abgerundet wurde der Besuch durch eine sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Ich war hier mit meinen Kindern zu meinem Geburtstag. Das Personal ist super lieb und freundlich. Ich bekam sogar ein Ständchen und einen leckeren Kuchen. Ich war total begeistert. Das Essen und das Ambiente waren ebenfalls sehr mexikanisch.

Wir waren nach langer Zeit wieder im Hazienda. Das Essen war wie früher sehr lecker und hat uns absolut überzeugt. Bedient wurden wir von Ali, dessen freundliche und aufmerksame Art wir sehr geschätzt haben. Man fühlt sich willkommen und gut aufgehoben.

Ich kam also an, und eine Verkäuferin nahm meine Zahlung entgegen. Sie war sehr unfreundlich, kein Lächeln, gar nichts, nicht die geringste Anstrengung, mich zu verstehen. Ich bemühte mich, mit ihr zu sprechen, aber sie gab sich keinerlei Mühe. Die Verkäuferin war brünett, hatte lange Haare und war sehr unfreundlich.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, das Essen ist hervorragend, die Desserts ebenfalls 🍨, und der Kellner, der mich bedient hat, war sehr freundlich. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

A cozy atmosphere with good traditional music. The food is delicious.

We received warm and friendly service. The portions were too large for me and too large for a child, but what's really nice is that you can have it wrapped up. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Mexican restaurant! We had the Nachos de la Torre, the Tacos de Parilla and for dessert the Rollo con Chocolate - everything was super good. The service was great, a big thank you to Haris and his colleague for their kindness and smile!

The breakfast is very varied and of very good quality. Haris's service is excellent. He is very courteous, friendly, and attentive. You simply feel at home and start the day well-fed and refreshed.

We had breakfast at the carat hotel restaurant, cosy atmosphere. Native Indian decoration. Great range of options for breakfast including yoghurt, different types of egg dishes, delicious sourdough bread, avocado toast, pancakes. Friendly staff, great service, tips where to go explore the surroundings. Hans has been very helpful 👌

I stayed at the Carat Hotel for three nights and was initially skeptical about the à la carte breakfast. The selection is good, with something for everyone. However, since only coffee and juice/water are included, it loses points. Haris, the server, was very friendly and attentive.

A strange experience. The reservation worked perfectly, the service was prompt – but rather slow. The food was acceptable, but questionable. Mexican feeling? Not really. Although the restaurant was only a quarter full, we had to wait over 30 minutes after our appetizer. Given the prices quoted, it could have been more fluid. Paying was the "highlight": You simply state an amount; there's no detailed bill. Instead, a tip suggestion is persistently waved in your face. When we asked for a written bill (even before paying!), we received a resounding "No." Too bad – it probably wasn't for us.

The restaurant is very nice and comfortable, the service is very good and the food arrived quickly and was delicious.

We wanted to eat at this restaurant this evening as hotel guests. Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat at all, as we were completely ignored at the entrance. After a while, we went to the bar, where we were immediately rudely told that a large group was there and we should wait. So far, so good. When we wanted to wait at the bar, we were rather rudely told to wait at the entrance. There were three service employees visible in the restaurant, but we couldn't see a large group, and the customer interaction was mediocre. So, with three employees, the situation could have been handled much better and, above all, more pleasantly. After waiting at the entrance for a few more minutes, with one employee chatting the whole time while the other cleared empty tables, we finally got fed up. I come from the restaurant industry myself, and you can clear empty tables as soon as you've seated your paying customers. I find this kind of behavior quite unacceptable.

The food isn't what it used to be. I was there about 1.5 years ago. Different menu, more selection. The food used to be delicious. Not anymore. What a shame.

Unfriendly staff, disorganized; food was very bad. The Tex-Mex plate with ribs was very dry, and the plates came out dirty. I couldn't enjoy my meal. This was definitely the last time I went there. I wouldn't recommend it anymore.

We were absolutely thrilled with the restaurant. We arrived late as hotel guests and wanted something to eat. Here's what we liked about Hazienda: - Large selection -> we couldn't decide - Prices were absolutely reasonable - The food came quickly and was incredibly delicious!! The three of us really enjoyed it - Service was excellent! Friendly, helpful, humorous, and not pushy -> just how it should be. Overall, a clear 5 stars, we would come back anytime :)

Hello We are hotel guests and decided to try the restaurant because we wanted to try it out anyway. The staff greeted us warmly, and we were assigned a table for two in the middle of the room. We were served very quickly. First, our drinks were brought, and after we chose our food, our orders were taken. So, everything was fine. We had two appetizers, with the information for both of us. It was a shame there weren't any nice two-person appetizer plates. The garlic breads were super delicious, but the mixed appetizer plate felt like pre-made meals. So why go out to eat and then eat something like that? Also, our first impression of the restaurant was: It smells of burnt food (from the deep fryer). And the Indian decor at the Mexican restaurant? Well, I don't know much about that, I've never been to that country. Furthermore, even though the place was practically empty, it felt like the food was coming too slowly. As if the staff were stressed about the table being cleared again. The main course was 3/5 ounces; I've had better Mexican food. But I found the audacity (apparently, this is becoming more and more common, and has become/is becoming the norm). We left €70 for two of us, and we like to tip, but I found it a disgrace that we weren't allowed to decide how much to tip. We rounded up to €75 and then they said... they only allowed a tip of +10%, 15%, or 20%. That meant we were forced to pay €77 for something we weren't happy with. So, unfortunately, no further visit.

We were passing through and staying at the hotel. We arrived very late but wanted to grab a bite to eat, and the restaurant was about to close. Luckily, we were able to get in. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly welcoming, and we didn't feel rushed at all, even though we arrived just before the kitchen closed. All in all, very satisfied, and it was great that we could still get in so late!

Great Schnitzel and they made a special mushroom sauce on our request. Lovely people.

We were here once during our stay last year. The food was incredibly delicious back then, so we went back for another table this year. But this time, we had the feeling that things had changed. The food wasn't as good as it used to be. The chili con carne tacos weren't made with minced meat, but with small pieces of meat, like in a goulash. It also tasted like goulash. It had absolutely nothing to do with Mexican food. You got the impression that an amateur chef was trying his hand at this place. We'll probably look for another alternative on our next visit. The staff was, as usual, super friendly, and the atmosphere was very cozy.

We (4 people) were really looking forward to a lovely evening in the restaurant and were unfortunately very disappointed! But right from the start, the reservation made over the phone 2 days in advance went well, but when we arrived we weren't so happy with the table and asked the waiter if we could be moved to another table for 4 which was free opposite. The answer was, unfortunately no, they would have to push tables together later for a larger group. This was a blatant lie as this didn't happen the whole evening, on the contrary, 2 people were later seated at the same table... not a larger group as claimed. This made us very angry and the next statement from the same waiter that we couldn't place our food order for another 20 minutes because it was too busy and they were understaffed... didn't improve our mood! But the restaurant industry has a hard time and they understand. After a 1 hour wait the starter arrived (baked nachos with chili or diced beef instead of the minced meat we are used to), which was quite tasty. The main course included three portions of fries, which you had to pay extra for, that were very salty, and the beef strips on the salad were a bit tough and dry. The verdict on the food: the price/performance ratio is simply not right, and we also found the price for a 0.4L beer, not even a full glass, over €5, and a 0.2L Coke for €3.50 outrageous! Nevertheless, we wanted to order a second drink (we were thirsty from the salty food). When we asked the waitress about it, she gave a rude reply, complete with a rolling of her eyes, saying, "Yes, it's ready, but it won't be for a few minutes... If you can't handle the job, the stress, and the pressure, you should find another one. Staff like that will drive customers away! The highlight of the evening was when we asked for a cocktail (Cuba Libre), which we would have liked to have enjoyed in the bar or outside area of the restaurant. Our "nice" waitress replied that it was no problem; the bar downstairs was open until 1 a.m. It was 9:30 p.m. and there was no staff in the bar. When we asked another colleague about it, she told us the bar was closed, but we could order something upstairs in the restaurant. This apparently didn't register with our server upstairs... but okay, because there was a Cuba Libre on the drinks menu here too, we thought it was no problem. We were too early to get back to the restaurant and asked about it, it wasn't possible, they only had soft drinks! Not possible... well, it was! That's our conclusion of the whole evening: we won't be visiting this restaurant again. One last piece of information: they only accept card payments, you'll find out when you pay, because this information isn't visible anywhere!

We're waiting here on a Sunday evening. With a reservation, it's no problem; even without one, there would have been free tables. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Exemplary! Very reasonable wait times. We ordered two appetizers: 1. TORTILLAS CON SHRIMP: Crispy, spicy, delicious. The shrimp were very small, but tasted okay. The avocados were a bit early. All in all: delicious. 2. CIRUELA: My appetizer highlight. Crispy bacon, stuffed with sweet and spicy ingredients. :D You have to like it, I love it. For the main course (two people): 1. + 2. PARILLA MEXICANA (FOR 2 PEOPLE AND MORE): The beef was amazing. Medium rare, just perfect. Great flavor, juicy, awesome. The spare ribs were okay, I've had better. Tasty, but not as good as the beef. The spicy breaded cheese moped was excellent. We had to pack the chicken wings - but they didn't appeal to me anymore ;-) All the dips were highly recommended. A definite recommendation from me! PS: The restaurant is located past reception on the first floor of the hotel. It's beautifully decorated. It fits perfectly and is harmonious.

Saw this place on the map today and it instantly brought back memories from my visit in Dec 2022! Stayed at the hotel & had a lovely dinner there — the food was great, and the atmosphere really stood out. Such a nice spot that left a lasting impression!

Good ribs (17.50 euros). The nachos are also super cheap and good (7.50 euros). Unfortunately, there isn't a large selection of desserts. However, you should make a reservation, as it's often full.

The food and service was wonderful. Our waitress gave us an excellent wine recommendation which exceeded our expectations!

We visited this restaurant for the first time in January and were absolutely thrilled with the friendly service, the delicious food and the perfect choice of seating. Everything was just right, so we went there again today, full of anticipation, even though it was a 45-minute drive for us. Unfortunately we were disappointed this time. As soon as we arrived, the menus were immediately placed on the table before we had even sat down, which seemed rushed and impersonal. The table was also very brightly lit and uncomfortable - there's no question whether that's okay for us. The situation when paying was particularly rude: the waitress asked me directly whether “with or without a tip” – you just don’t ask that! There was no friendliness anyway, she spoke loudly, seemed stressed and overall very unprofessional. Of course, in such a case, I didn't give a tip. How can you be so unfriendly and then dare to ask directly? The food was also disappointing this time, very different from the first visit. Only the sweet, stuffed rolls were really good. But overall, unfortunately, that was our last visit. Very unfortunate. The positive thing was that the food came relatively quickly.

Bedienung perfekt, Essen sehr gut.. aber dann. Beim Bezahlen wurde kein Bargeld akzeptiert. Nur Kartenzahlung. Da wir nicht mit Karte bezahlen wollten, schlugen wir vor, man möge uns eine Rechnung schicken. Nach einer halben Stunde Diskussion !!! wurde unser Bargeld akzeptiert. Man solle sich an der Hotelrezeption beschweren. Die Mitarbeiter im Restaurant finden es auch nicht in Ordnung, dass mit Karte gezahlt werden muss und es hagelt viele viele Beschwerden beim Bezahlen. Eine darauf folgende Beschwerde an der Rezeption im Hotel scheiterte schon daran, dass der Rezeptionist, mit vollem Mund und Essensresten auf seinem Pullover, kein deutsch sprach und auch auf englisch nur sagte, er sei nur Aushilfe und für nichts zuständig. So wird einem ein schöner Abend verdorben. Völlig unnötig

Unfortunately, this time I can only rate the booking system and how it deals with overbooking. We received a table confirmed via opentable. When we arrived we were informed that they had neglected to make the reservation and that they could not offer a table. We stood there with our in-laws, without prior notification (contact details were provided). The management promised to contact us, which has not yet been made. The restaurant was an insider tip, but for some time now they have been really overwhelmed with organization (long waiting times, etc.). Hope they get the rank again, it would be a great destination for a cheap event Update: Restaurant says it has contacted customers. That is NOT the case. To date no answer!!!

They responded to my recently posted review with the note that they had contacted the customer individually. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened until today! Really disappointing! Now we definitely avoid Hacienda, this kind of customer service is not possible

Good food in a friendly setting.

Awful. We were basically abandoned at the table and not even given a menu. We had to borrow menus from other customers and half an hour later someone came and take our orders. Food arrived over an hour after that. Stay away from this horrible place, with horrible service.

The food is actually quite delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. I've had bad experiences where I was turned away three times despite having a reservation, supposedly because the system wasn't working. Today, all sorts of excuses were available: the receptionist didn't speak German, so we spoke in English. Afterwards, she told me they were full because a large group had unexpectedly arrived. The best part was when she told me that she only sees online reservations once the guests arrive. She wasn't particularly interested in my online reservation with confirmation. So don't get too excited if you get a table confirmed.

I reserved a table for the celebration of my wife’s birthday. These guys decorated the table, welcomed us with happy birthday music and did take care of us so warmly… I just can say: thank you! We all were happy with wine and food, served timely. Taste is delicious. The garlic oil gambas and shrimps fajitas are highly recommended!

5 mal angerufen um einen termin für eine Gruppe zu bekommen. Hotelkunden werden bevorzugt, man sagt es würde sich jemand melden aver nichts ist geschehen. Offenbar läuft denen das Geschäft zu gut. Einen solchen service würde ich auf die strasse stellen. Ein no-go wenn du kundschaft bedienen willst.

Dog tolerant but not dog friendly. Natchos are a reheated soggy mess but still taste good. Big portions, so good for those with large appetites. Lots of pesky flies and mosquitos. Most of the staff are friendly.

Unfassbar. Das Restaurant verweigert die Bezahlung der Rechnung mit Bargeld. Nach dem Hinweis, dass die Weigerung der Annahme von Bargeld (EUR) als Zahlmittel eine Ordnungswidrigkeit darstellt, die mit einer Geldbuße von bis zu 25.000,--EUR belegt werden kann, wurde schliesslich doch Bargeld (passend gegeben mit Trinkgeld) angenommen. Glück für das Restaurant, dass ich nicht im Dienst war,sonst hätte ich eine Anzeige erstellen müssen

We had dinner with 6 people. Price performance is right; the selected dishes were delicious. Three dishes were vegetarian, here the selection could be a little larger. A rump steak was not of great quality; This could also be improved upon. Eaten 3 times in this restaurant when staying overnight in the hotel. Spicy mexican food. German beer. Perfect combination. Friendly staff. Slept well after eating. Hope I will return one day.

The worst chili con carne I've ever tried, you couldn't eat it! An animal had to die, unfortunately the product was poorly processed. -Meat twisted through the meat grinder, - know it as finely chopped.
