Restaurant Haus Allendorf in Warendorf

Not recommended! The restaurant opens at 5:00 p.m. Unfortunately we stood in the rain until 5:10 p.m. and were then “welcomed” by an unfriendly lady!! We would have loved to go straight back. The food was surprisingly bad. Not warm enough and the meat was tough. We left more than half on our plates and explained this to the waitress. The answer from the kitchen: “That can happen.” The service staff was very friendly and tried hard! Our conclusion: Not recommended. Price/performance doesn't fit!

Price performance is right here. German Westphalian classics like you're used to when grandma and grandpa came to eat on Sunday.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding in the Haus Allendorf restaurant and were very excited. Starting with a very friendly and extensive planning discussion with Michaela Allendorf, we immediately felt very comfortable and in good hands. Our wishes were taken into account and we had many of our own design options. On the day of the celebration itself, everything went as planned and smoothly. The large hall was prepared exactly as desired, the food was delicious and the service was very attentive, friendly and accommodating until the end of the celebration. In addition, there is a very good and fair price-performance ratio. All in all we had a wonderful day and would like to thank the Allendorf family!!!

The menu offers a good selection. The ambience is very good and there is a nice beer garden that invites you to linger when the weather is nice. If you want to eat there with a group, you can book there in advance and make arrangements. The staff is consistently friendly and good

We came here spontaneously this evening. Fantastic food, good home cooking, very polite, courteous service, everything harmonious and at good prices. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

We celebrated our wedding at Haus Allendorf on October 19, 2024 and were more than satisfied with everything. The food and service were great and everyone was happy. The whole team is super friendly and accommodating. Also a big thank you to dear Michaela Allendorf, who always had an open ear and implemented everything as we wanted. Today we were here with LV. For dinner we had the Westphalian beef and the gnocchi. My wife and I also shared a salad with goat cheese. Everything was very tasty and the portions were completely sufficient. The service was excellent (present but not intrusive). We are not from the area, otherwise we would definitely come to eat more often. In summer we could imagine that the honking of the train (when you're sitting outside) might be a bit annoying, but the inn can't do anything about that.

The three of us were guests there several times, accompanied by two dogs. The meal was excellent! Unfortunately, the staff gave the impression that no customers were welcome. Orders were confirmed briefly and succinctly, when we asked for some water for the dogs we were directed to the metal bowl in front of the door, and we weren't given a smile. The only, but praiseworthy, exception were the young waiter, apparently a newly hired temporary worker, and the cook. Thank you for that!

Saw it while driving past, turned around, stopped in and didn't regret it. Very nice old inn with history. Small menu, but I think there is something for everyone. Nice operation and good service. We felt very comfortable and ate well.

Nice beer garden, great destination for a bike ride. We really enjoyed the day today.

We celebrated our free wedding in Haus Allendorf. Both the service and the food were very good! The agreements and wishes were implemented immediately. We can absolutely recommend Haus Allendorf and thank the team again for the wonderful day.

Very old but nice restaurant with extremely down-to-earth cuisine and a small but fine menu. A bit sad that there wasn't much going on on a Friday. This is certainly due to the situation, which is somewhat unfortunate. Still an absolute recommendation. Great food, very down-to-earth, super tasty, much better than a lot of what is offered in the surrounding places.

A quaint restaurant that offers very good food. The schnitzel and fried potatoes were just how I love it. The beef that my friend had melted in the mouth, so I was a little jealous 😉 The staff was also super friendly 😊 We'll be back 😊

A very nice atmosphere where you get very tasty food.

We were guests at Haus Allendorf with 2 motorhomes as part of Country Fun. The booking was uncomplicated and the reception was really friendly and accommodating. We also liked the food. For the vegetarians among us, an “extra sausage” was of course fried, which is not always a given. We really enjoyed our stay on the really nice pitch under the oak trees☺️. We'd love to come back!

We really enjoy eating here. Reservation is usually not necessary. The service is friendly and to the point. The food is very good and according to the price. A small, rustic chain carousel is located near a small playground in front of the restaurant and is great fun for the children. The menu is small and therefore shows fresh ingredients and products that are selected regionally and seasonally. Otherwise there is mainly typical Westphalian cuisine.

As part of our celebration of our daughter's confirmation yesterday, we had lunch at Haus Allendorf. The preliminary discussion with the selection of dishes including cost calculation took place in advance of the celebration. On the day of the celebration, the table was beautifully set and the guests arrived one by one; A small champagne reception served as a welcome. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with the starter followed by the main course and dessert. The food was excellently prepared, came to the table hot and was enjoyed by everyone from young to old. We received excellent service and felt very comfortable. Thanks to the whole team! Absolutely recommended ☺️

First of all: good - it was Easter Sunday; The short menu contained the dishes that were also offered as a buffet. All understandable if an increased number of visitors are expected on such a holiday; Finally, it is important to reconcile the lack of staff, which is certainly present even in the kitchen, with the expected flow of guests. Regarding the quality of the food: nothing really special - rather average inn standard with Rhenish sauerbraten or pork medallions. The red cabbage as a side dish to the sauerbraten...as is well known, the taste can be debated: the use of flavor enhancers was noticeable, especially as the liquid separated. The consistency could be described more like red cabbage puree. Probably boiled (over) the day before?! The pork medallions were fried to a "dead" state rather than a delicate pink color...not to mention the tepid warmth of this meal. Therefore: all in all, 3* is almost overrated for me. The fact that you only received the salad with the medallions upon request was included in the service rating. Actually, we didn't have to go through all of that anymore after the waitress tipped over an open bottle of mineral water (0.3 l) and a drinking glass right at the beginning with only 3 drinks on the tray and spilled it over the side of my shirt, trousers and the chair . Awkward pause! A short time later the same (service?) force arrived with a mop and bucket.... Sure - it can happen sometimes; At least an apology would be in order? Oh no - probably just a temporary worker? We are drawn to this restaurant, which, given the circumstances described, I would only describe as a country (guest?) house, nothing will happen again in a hurry!

Friendly staff, lots of meat dishes, little choice for vegetarians and vegans. The dishes taste okay. The ambience and the toilets are a bit old.

Allendorf was once a restaurant with very good, upscale food. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. A lot of money for little quality. I know Allendorf differently

We came here by chance, we liked the outside appearance. We were very impressed, it started with the welcome and ended with a nice farewell. The menu is clear and the food was great, but the price was more than reasonable. Thank you for the time we were allowed to be with you.

We had dinner there with 4 people this evening. Although “Haus Allendorf” isn’t too far away from us, we didn’t even have the location on our radar. First of all, it was pleasantly noticeable that there was enough space around the tables to leave the table without disturbing the neighbors. We were escorted straight to the table. The cards came promptly. The beer I ordered was served and turned to me with the inscription on the glass. (It's the little things that distinguish a service!) 3x starters, unfortunately not for me, which made my fellow visitors look forward to the meal! The food itself, venison ragout and pepper steak - really great! Side dishes are great! Quality and workmanship are excellent in my opinion! The price for 4 people including drinks and special requests was completely fine - service was great throughout!! The only thing I regret is that I haven't had this restaurant on my radar for so long... but it's up to me to change that!

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant! Super idyllisches Ambiente, tollem Essen und sehr guten Preisen. Ein großes Lob an das wirklich professionelle Personal! Gerne wieder!

Die drei Sterne gibt es für das leckere Essen, Karre Mist, Hirschkeule, Champignonrahmschnitzel, auf das wir leider eine Stunde warten mussten. Bedient wurden wir an dem Abend von zwei Frauen. Die jüngere, dunkelhaarige Frau war freundlich u. entgegenkommend - die ältere, schlanke Frau war abweisend und schon beinahe unfreundlich. Die Getränkekarte brachte sie erst auf ausdrückliche Bitte unsererseits. Nachdem wir im Verlauf des Abends auf Anfrage die Dessertkarte erhielten, gaben wir nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit auf, verzichteten auf die Dessertbestellung und baten um die Rechnung. Aufgrund einer parallel stattgefundenen Geburtstagsfeier, 20.10.2023, waren die beiden Servicekräfte wohl stark ausgelastet. Wenn aber die Dame des Hauses sich zeitgleich an den Nachbartisch setzt, um sich mit den dortigen Gästen zu unterhalten, wirkt das auf andere Gäste etwas irritierend. Auf der Herrentoilette roch es den ganzen Abend sehr unangenehm.

Spontaner Besuch am Freitagabend: ein Tisch für zwei Personen sei noch frei. Eine knappe halbe Stunde später saßen wir dann in gemütlicher Atmosphäre beim Abendessen. Die Steaks: spitzenmäßig, auf den Punkt, der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Dazu wurden jede Menge Extrawünsche erfüllt, wie etwa Salzkartoffeln statt Pommes, bitte keine Sauce, nur Pfeffer und Salz... einfach vorbildlich. Der Service hätte nicht besser sein können, freundlich, aufmerksam, schnell - Liebes Team, wir danken Ihnen! Und kommen bald zurück! Kleine Ergänzung: Familienfeier mit 12 Personen, darunter ein Rollstuhlfahrer, zwei kleine Kinder - wir waren keine leise Gesellschaft, und einfach - der zahlreichen Extrawünsche wegen - waren wir auch nicht! Allerdings: Das Essen war wieder hervorragend, der Service hätte nicht besser sein können - vielen Dank an die gesamte Crew. Wir kommen wieder!

Das war was fürs Herz. Die Bedienung war der Hammer. Schnell, sehr freundlich.....sie arbeitet mit Leidenschaft dort.

Als DJ habe ich eine Hochzeitsfeier musikalisch begleitet. Sehr schöne Location die außerhalb von Warendorf liegt. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten, draußen Sitzmöglichkeiten, ein großes Festsaal, sehr nettes Personal, sehr gute Küche. Platz Möglichkeit für die Fotobox die ich auch dabei hatte. Durch Zufall auf der Durchreise heute Nachmittag vorbei gekommen. Der Apfelkuchen war der Beste, den ich bisher gegessen hatte. Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend! Gern wieder.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, perfekte Bedienung und Service, Empfehlung für Familien Feiern und ein großer Biergarten!

Ein idealer Ort, um Familienfeiern im großen Rahmen abzuhalten. Das Ambiente ist rustikal gehalten, alles sehr sauber. Der Service ist aufmerksam und das Essen klassisch, Schnitzel, Kroketten, Kartoffeln, buntes Gemüse, frischer Spargel mit Schinken und zum Nachtisch Vanilleeis mit frischen Erdbeeren. Es war sehr reichlich und wurde zügig nachgefüllt. Das Restaurant bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Zur Speisekarte kann ich leider nichts sagen, da wir eine Auswahl vorbestellt hatten.

Wir waren über Land Vergnügen zum Essen im Restaurant Haus Allendorf , es hat uns sehr gut gefallen dort . Das Essen war sehr , sehr gut . Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Michael und Sylvia Schulze aus dem Harz.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet, dadurch gibt es Wartezeiten. Ein Besuch ist lohnenswert.

Wir waren alle absolut begeistert. Es war richtig lecker, nette Bedienung. Vegane Auswahl war zwar leider nicht groß, aber wenigstens ein gekennzeichnetes Gericht.

Das Restaurant habe ich aufgrund einer Hochzeit besucht. Die freundliche Mitarbeiter des Hauses sind mir aufgefallen. Sie waren sehr freundlich und immer bemüht zu helfen und unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Ambiente ist ziemlich pompös, obwohl von außen gesehen habe ich eher etwas ländliches erwartet.

Nach Empfehlung hier essen gegangen. Super freundlicher Service und sehr gute Küche. Ich kann schlechte Kritiken hier nicht verstehen! Manche Leute müssten als Gast auch bewertet werden können. Hier ist alles super und kann nur weiterempfohlen werden.

Wir waren mit unserer ersten Nacht "Landvergnügen" hier. Sind bei einem lauten Knall angekommen. Der Stellplatz ist schön unter Bäumen und das Essen im Restaurant klasse. Sonderwünsche ( z. B.  Sauce Hollandaise ) werden gerne erfüllt.
