A fantastic experience: Both the main courses and the appetizers were incredibly delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the lamb platter is highly recommended. The grilled octopus and pepperoni are also highly recommended.

A year ago, I gave the Green Tree 5 stars. Unfortunately, things went very wrong this Friday... We had a reservation for 12 people and were given seats. Next to us sat a group of about 25 people. The entire waitstaff was focused solely on the larger group all evening. They completely ignored us. We were able to order drinks after 20 minutes and received them another 15 minutes later. Ordering food took an hour, and then the appetizer, salad, and main course each arrived 20 minutes later. Only two of us managed to reorder drinks. The rest of us sat thirsty for 3 hours with empty glasses that hadn't been cleared away. No one came to collect our payment. So we paid at the bar. Everyone was so stressed that no one had time to properly apologize. A shame... The food is actually quite good. The service problem was probably a one-off and I'm sure no one else will experience it after us. But that doesn't really make it any better.

Today we wanted to try a Greek restaurant that was new to us. Reservations are recommended. We went for lunch and it was quite busy. We each wanted something different and were pleasantly surprised; the food was very tasty, although the gyros was a bit dry. Overall, everything was fine. We drank the local red wine, which was dry and very good. They also gave us a complimentary ouzo, thank you very much for that. In short: we'll be back.

Yesterday, we were there for the first time in a long time. I used to eat there often with business colleagues. It was always a lovely evening. Nothing has changed in that regard. Good food, friendly staff, fair prices, and a very nice, old restaurant. I highly recommend it. It was nice to be there again. It definitely won't be our last visit. 👍👍👍

We went to the Grüner Baum in Linkenheim based on several recommendations and an Instagram video and were keen to try the restaurant. The ambiance is simple but decent. Unfortunately, the main courses didn't impress us in terms of taste. The chips were overcooked in some places, the gyro was already cold in places, and the pork skewer was still raw in the thicker and inner parts – not the typical pink fried version. So we each received a new skewer, which was only slightly better. My liver was also still half-raw inside and definitely not pink fried, as is typical for this dish. More than three-quarters of my plate was returned as a result. It's a shame, because the food looked really excellent in the videos, and I had correspondingly high expectations. Unfortunately, my companion's meal wasn't a highlight either – the seafood was noticeably lacking in salt and seasoning. The tzatziki and vegetable rice, on the other hand, were really good. The side salad also didn't impress us: The mustard-like dressing was barely edible for me, even though the coleslaw and red cabbage salad were delicious. A slice of cucumber and a very pale tomato rounded it all off – perhaps less would have been more here. Overall, it was a shame; perhaps we just had a bad day. The service was friendly, but unfortunately, the flavor wasn't convincing.

We visited the Grüner Baum in Linkenheim for the first time today and were completely thrilled. The service was super fast, extremely courteous, and friendly – ​​you feel truly welcome as a guest. The portion sizes were very generous, and the value for money was excellent. You not only get a lot, but also really good food at a fair price. We were particularly pleasantly surprised that they even offered a free drink like ouzo or a coffee/espresso after the meal – something you rarely see these days and shows how much they care about their guests. In summary: Great food, top-notch service, and warm hospitality. We'll definitely be back! ✅

Super friendly, courteous, and fast service, large food selection. We had starters and main courses (liver, bifteki, cevapcici). The taste was delicious and the portions were large. Special requests were no problem. Waiting times were short. The restaurant was child-friendly.

We went there with the family for lunch. The restaurant was busy, but we still managed to get a seat. The service was fast but not intrusive, and the food came quickly, too, despite the busy schedule. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the side dishes, such as the rice, were risotto-like, so nice and mushy, just as it should be. The salads were also well-made, and the dressings were delicious. ...and all of this at a fair price! We'd be happy to come back.

For years, this has been THE place for us in town when it comes to Greek food. Absolutely authentic. The paintings and pictures on the wall instantly transport you to historic Greek places. Very friendly and attentive service, and the food, while perhaps not always inexpensive, is all the more delicious. 🇬🇷

I've eaten Greek food quite a few times, but this time I have to say the salad bowl was warm. Unfortunately, this happens at other restaurants too, but this time I suspected the salad bowl had come straight from the dishwasher. Why isn't it possible to keep the bowls cold in the saladette? Otherwise, everything else was very good.

We were a bit disappointed as it had been our favorite Greek place for many years. The taste has noticeably diminished. The prices have risen, everyone understands that to a certain extent, but the portions have also become smaller. So it feels like a double increase in price. It's a shame, the long journey is no longer worth it for us.

Gerade am Wochenende empfiehlt es sich frühzeitig zu reservieren. Wir waren spontan dort und es wurden alle Hebel vom Personal in Bewegung gesetzt, damit wir bleiben durften. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend ohne Aufdringlich zu wirken. Die Speicherkarte bietet eine große Auswahl an griechischen Spezialitäten und internationaler Küche. Auch an die Vegetarier wurde gedacht. Preis Leistung stehen im Einklang und die Portionen sind reichlich. Selbst die "Seniorengerichte" machen satt. Die Qualität der Produkte wirkt hochwertig. Besonders auffällig waren die vielen außer Haus Bestellungen, welche dann vor Ort abgeholt wurden. Fazit: Wer griechisch mag, wird den "grünen Baum" lieben.
