A large restaurant with an extra large glass building for the summer months. Food and service was good. Unfortunately it was very noisy, a private conversation with 4 people was hardly possible and there was no heating when the outside temperature was 10°. There was a large parking lot and plenty of ouzo.

Food is good. Portions are large, and so are the prices. Service is a bit friendlier but is quick and generous. All in all, a good shop that mainly scores with the food.

Finally a Greek place with friendly staff and the food tastes very good. "Change spring 2023: it has become too expensive for us because some dishes have a price difference of €4, so one star is deducted, but it doesn't change the points mentioned above.

Food was good but rather mass disgusting

Food top, service flop to sum it up. First round of drinks and food went well. Then 45 minutes of ignorance. Addressed the waiter several times: yes, straight away. We almost had to force payment because no one wanted or could collect. Unfortunately today it was a complete disaster. Table 92

In short...everything is great. From the food/drink to the location to the service, a clear recommendation... As an extra, there is always clear and green ouzo in abundance🤣

Today we were completely disappointed. We were in the restaurant around 7 p.m., after a short "registration" (4 adults and 3 children) we were seated. After about 20 minutes a drink order was taken (by the waitress who greeted us), but according to the waiter we couldn't order food at this point, this should happen "2 minutes later", as he said. Unfortunately nothing happened after this statement. We left the restaurant at 8 p.m., without drinks, with grumpy children. We were all very hungry and have always left a good amount of money with previous orders, but after this campaign......... it's a real shame. I assess the quality of the food based on previous orders we have placed.

Food was good and plentiful. Unfortunately the service wasn't good, we had to wait a long time to get drinks and several times the waitress sent a colleague because he couldn't understand us.

We were there today. Quite spontaneous. It was very crowded. We were assigned a table or told to sit down somewhere. After waiting for over half an hour without anything happening, we left. It's a shame... other guests felt the same way.

You can't say anything about the food because after waiting 30 minutes you still aren't served. The service and the kitchen are overwhelmed given the size and the amount of offerings! If you then ask the service whether you have been forgotten, you get the answer: "I don't understand German!" The ambience is like a train station lobby due to the volume!!! If there were minus stars, I would give them!!! If you're not hungry, don't want to eat anything and want to use your time pointlessly, I can only recommend this shop!!!

A table was booked for 6:30 p.m. The order was taken at 6:55 p.m. and the food arrived at 8:30 p.m. Table 64 was simply ignored. Afterwards the waiter wanted to discuss with us why the food came so late and everyone else who came after us received their food first. We received 2 vouchers as an apology, but it would have been nicer if they had told us straight away that the food would take longer and had received a Uozzo as a gift, as it was generously distributed at the other tables.

Charred bread rolls and instructive saleswomen...

We had dinner here with kids and dog. The service was very friendly and there was plenty of ouzo!🤭 The quantities of our dishes were very sufficient and reasonably priced. The garlic bread was to die for! We sat outside, on a covered terrace with LED - perhaps not enough Greek flair for some, but we found it pleasant. Everyone really enjoyed it and we can recommend this Greek restaurant!

Food is ok. But prices are very high. Champions as a starter for €11 with an incredible 2 mushrooms… Staff wasn't very attentive.

Tastes good, good quantities, very friendly service. It's a shame that with so much space, there are no children's pools for playing and doing crafts and no playground on the property from the terrace. Then you could stay longer and comfortably with one or more children. One of countless restaurants (all of them) where you have to leave as quickly as possible because the children get bored. Children must be supervised within sight.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Greek restaurant Gjuci in Osterode am Harz on Friday June 14, 2024 and it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The ambience is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was simply fantastic. Every dish was freshly prepared and seasoned authentically Greek. Particularly noteworthy were the starters, which immediately put us in the holiday mood. The main course was an absolute delight - the grill plate was varied, plentiful and perfectly grilled, the side dishes were delicious and well balanced. The service was outstanding - friendly, attentive and always willing to make recommendations. You can tell that the team puts their heart and soul into it and wants to give their guests an unforgettable evening. I can only warmly recommend Gjuci. If you are in Osterode am Harz and want excellent Greek cuisine, you should definitely stop by. I will definitely come back!

At the beginning of June I was able to dine at Gjuci with my parents. To anticipate it: … We really enjoyed it and the restaurant will see us again! Mediterranean specialties, especially Greek, await guests. The name Gjuci is probably of Albanian origin. We ate there around lunchtime, found a seat straight away and were served quickly and extremely friendly. The restaurant is large and, in my opinion, barrier-free. If you look at the main entrance, where the toilets are at ground level, you would think that you would have to climb a staircase to get to the guest rooms. This is not the case. To the left of the main entrance, a wide ramp leads several people, including wheelchair users or strollers, next to each other, to the spacious, covered and wind-protected terrace, which is ideal for larger family celebrations, weddings, confirmations, youth ordinations, graduation ceremonies, etc much more, and from there you can easily and comfortably reach the dining rooms with your walker, which in turn are so large that they would be ideal for larger parties, weddings, but also dance events. Larger groups can arrive by car, as there is a spacious, free parking lot that is also suitable for wheelchair users. Since the weather had clouded over during our visit, we found a place inside the building, which I found to be homely, comfortable, with a view from one of the large windows, familiar. At the same time, some of the other guests were sitting on the sheltered terrace - and were obviously completely satisfied with the restaurant, service and their overall stay. Our meal was sumptuous and very tasty. Do you know that moment in the Greeks when everyone lets everything rest for a moment so that things can settle down, because otherwise everything couldn't be added to the metabolism? … We experienced such a cornucopia of a Mediterranean short vacation. Generous rounds of ouzo rounded out our meal. Maybe you can find photos for this review. The weather that day was really bad, which the innkeepers can't blame, but it showed us that our Gjuci is a destination in any weather and in any season. The restaurant should be kept in mind as an insider tip, especially for celebrations. I have marked it on maps so that I can always see it as a reminder, because the maps show the Osterode area. I think the prices are so cheap that you can only describe them as extremely fair - you can eat great here even for little money! I would take visitors, friends, one of my girlfriends to Gjuci.

Even if nothing was done wrong in terms of craftsmanship, I think it tastes better at another Greek restaurant, which I prefer. But this criticism, which isn't really a criticism, is more a matter of your own palate or taste, so I give it 5 stars for the great work. The service is simply great, ouzo until you fall off your chair 😂 Very attentive staff. The prices are very reasonable for this service and also for the quantity on the plate. A grill plate like this is quite a men's portion. Keep it up. I would definitely like to come back!

Nice restaurant! Friendly and nice staff. Fresh and delicious food. We will be back. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary.

The ambience is quite nice, the outside lighting has also been improved, roofed over, modernized. Unfortunately, the service suffers from infrequent inquiries, e.g. requests for additional drinks. Accept the order, deliver it, issue an invoice upon request. Nothing more happened during our visits, despite the sometimes small number of guests in between. Often we had to go to the counter and order more drinks. There is plenty of green ouzo for free, you have to like it, it's stretched and seems "adulterated".

Unfortunately, the meat from the souvlaki was quite firm. Other restaurants can do this much more delicately. The gyros was comparatively spicy. I don't think anyone really needs the "green ouzo".

We have come here several times and are always impressed by the quality on offer. The food is always very good and perfectly prepared and very plentiful and all at a good price. Ouzo is served before and after the meal until you can roll out of the restaurant satisfied 🤤

Schönes Restaurant, leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Die Portionen sind wirklich sehr groß! Trotzdem muss ich einen Stern abziehen, weil wir knapp eine Stunde aufs Essen warten mussten. Das war doch ein bisschen sehr lange.

2.12.2023. Mein zweiter Besuch im Gjuci. Der nette und flotte Service servierte uns wieder leckere Mahlzeiten. Ich liebe die griechische Küche und kann dieses Restaurant gut mit anderen Griechen vergleichen. Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden. Man wird reichlich mit Ouzo versorgt. Das bestellte Essen war wirklich lecker und die Portionen sind angemessen. Einen Stern ziehe ich beim Ambiente ab. Das griechische Flair bleibt etwas auf der Strecke. Aber insgesamt ein gelungenes Erlebnis. Ich werde gern wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für den guten Service.

Samstag Abend 18.30. Wir hatten einen Tisch vorbestellt. Reservierung hat geklappt. Lokal war um diese Zeit bereits gut besucht. Trotzdem ging alles sehr zügig. Getränkelieferung, Essensbestellung und Vorspeise...alles zeitnah. Es war genügend freundliches und aufmerksames Personal vorhanden. Das Essen selbst dauerte keine Viertelstunde. Geschmacklich super. Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Einziger Wermutstropfen: die heftigen Preise. Für einen Grillteller an die 22€ schon ziemlich arg. Daher auch nur 4 Sterne, sonst auch gerne 5. Sicher: Preis und Leistung stimmen, dann lieber kleinere Portionen für einen niedrigeren Preis. Und wenn dann ab dem neuen Jahr noch eine Preiserhöhung wg. der gestiegenen Mehrwertsteuer hinzukommt dann werden wir uns überlegen inwieweit wir uns das noch leisten wollen bzw. können.

Das Essen schmeckt immer gut. Die Preise sind wie auch in anderen Lokalen. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Gyros mit pommes zum mitnehmen telefonisch bestellt und dann abgeholt. Alles super. Freundliche Service, wenige Minuten gewartet bis es fertig war. Pommes noch schön knusprig und nicht matschig. Zaziki mit ordentlich bums und leckerer leichter Schärfe. Leckere saftige Gyros mit paar Zwiebeln. Gyros schön stark gewürzt. Nicht zu stark durch und nicht mehr wackelig oder so. Achtung Preisliste im Internet ist nicht aktuell. Gyros kostet nun Leider 17,50 Sehr lecker, tolle Menge, gerne wieder:)

Wir waren heute das erste mal dort Essen und waren über den freundlichen Empfang sehr erfreut. Die nicht so gute Atmosphäre liegt an den großen Räumen und deshalb bei voller Buchung halt sehr laut aber trotzdem ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Riesige Portionen und eine Menge kostenlosen Ouzo bekommt man hier serviert. Das Essen ist für den Preis gut, aber nichts besonderes, halt ein typischer Grieche. Das Personal ist freundlich und schnell.
