Sunday / 2 p.m. / buffet for 2 people / chilled drinks / but the fried noodles in the buffet container were pretty cold / squid rings were unfortunately tough and pretty cold / unfortunately we got old meat / breaded fish was delicious but unfortunately only lukewarm / a lot of things were unfortunately not even lukewarm in the containers / fried mushrooms were brilliant / Peking duck was delicious but... lukewarm / ice cream was great / breaded pineapple was great / wasabi sauce was amazing / great atmosphere.

My wife and I have been going to Lilly for 18 years, first at Rünte Hafen and later at Urnenfelstr. We've become great friends with the whole family, who are always in a good mood and friendly. The food is truly the best we've ever had. We've tried it elsewhere, but we like it best at Lilly's. That makes Lilly's the best food for us, and it's really great.👍👍👍

At lunchtime, the selection was okay, and the staff was friendly. It wasn't a great experience, but it wasn't a bad one either. We were there with a large group, and they prepared seating inside and outside without asking. Very nice!

First time here. The buffet was constantly being cleared. Even after a while, it was still very well laid out. So, one buffet (which wasn't really worth it), then fruit, and that was it. All in all, not worth it for us. The service was friendly and quick. There's no chance to make a first impression, which is a shame.

Great location. This restaurant has been renovated both inside and out in recent years. A complete success. The dishes are presented neatly and very attractively. The taste is no different. Simply delicious. Whether you treat yourself to a pre-fried dish or put together your own fresh produce, you leave it for the final cooking and it's served ready-made. Desserts ranging from baked banana to pineapple and more always round off this visit with satisfaction. The staff is very friendly and attentive, but not overly intrusive. It's advisable to reserve a table on weekends.

Yes, I have to admit: My wife and I are repeat offenders!!! We go to Gate to Asia once a week. I think we can say we're regulars. It's simply delicious. The taste is simply superb. Everything at the buffet is always freshly prepared and replenished promptly. The service is also excellent. No matter how busy the restaurant is, you're always treated in a friendly and courteous manner. And we've already booked a table for lunch tomorrow, which is a holiday. We just can't resist...

Whenever I call to reserve a table, I'm always greeted cheerfully. The food is excellent and the service is very good. They're friendly, they often stop by to ask if anyone wants any drinks, and you can stay as long as you like. Until they close, I'd say. I highly recommend it.

Visit on May 24, 2025 Unfortunately, no longer recommended. The meat was swimming in oil. The fried mushrooms were swimming in water. It tasted like nothing. I couldn't finish my second portion. I was almost gagging. Sorry, but either the kitchen was having a bad day, or they're cutting corners.

Disappointing Mother's Day The restaurant was recommended to us by friends and had solid, positive reviews. We wanted to celebrate Mother's Day there with the family and had reserved a table in advance. However, the festive atmosphere was quickly marred on site by overwhelmed staff and chaotic organization. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait - we probably would have stood there longer if we hadn't looked for a free table ourselves and actively asked if we could sit down. We also had to wait longer for the drinks menu because the waitress kept getting distracted by other guests and forgot our request several times. Sitting in the blazing sun without drinks wasn't a good start. The service staff consisted exclusively of young employees who were obviously not trained (we even spoke to a young lady about it because she seemed visibly overwhelmed). They often ran around the terrace haphazardly and needed several attempts to find the right table. After our repeated requests for a lemon slice with the Coke, we finally received a lemon quarter from the grill/sauce station. The buffet is rather small overall, but offers the classics that are familiar from restaurants of this type. About the food: In terms of taste, there was nothing negative to say - apart from minor defects such as cold main course plates, dirty glasses, empty inserts and a dirty ice cream scoop. Things like this can happen in an all-you-can-eat restaurant. What was particularly noticeable, however, was the poor handling of the food: At the grill station, some of the shrimp were frozen so hard that some were floating in water, while others were still stuck together and couldn't be grasped with tongs. When refilling the dishes, fresh food was simply slapped onto the leftovers instead of replacing the old inserts. It would be technically correct and more hygienic to put fresh food at the bottom and put leftovers on top - or swap completely. There was a trolley outside where guests were supposed to place their used plates themselves, as the staff apparently didn't do this. Combined with the high number of guests and a huge number of flies, it felt more like you were in a canteen than a restaurant. We asked several times to be allowed to pay - unfortunately the waitresses disappeared for a long time after each request. We ended up paying directly at the counter because we were tired of waiting. Even the fundamentally nice gesture of each mother receiving a rose could not save this disappointing overall impression. Maybe we had a bad day - but the restaurant wasn't even at 70% capacity. We don't expect perfect service according to etiquette, but as someone with years of experience in the catering industry, I know: Even for temporary workers without specialist knowledge, this day could have been easily managed - with a little preparation and a short briefing before the start of the shift.

The toilets are also very well maintained - you can tell that great importance is attached to hygiene here. The parking options are also great - right in front of the door without having to search for long. Huge praise goes to the staff: extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating - as a guest you really feel welcome and in good hands. The prices are also really, really fair - you get top quality here at a very good price-performance ratio. The ambience is also very pleasant - stylishly furnished, with a beautiful indoor and outdoor area in which you simply feel comfortable. No matter whether summer or winter, you can relax and enjoy yourself here. Conclusion: If you are looking for good Chinese food in a pleasant atmosphere and with great service, Gate2Asia is the right place for you. Absolute recommendation!

Friendly, good selection and delicious food

Food was very good, as was the selection. There are shops with even more different dishes/types of meat and fish/vegetables, but I'm afraid that more will be thrown away there. Everything here was fresh, empty containers were always replenished promptly. Very fair priced.

Glänzt durch ein enorm großes und - durch die Bank frisches - Angebot. Zwar gibt es das Geschäftprinzip öfter, nur haben wir nicht einmal erlebt, dass ein irgendein kulinarisches Angebot vom Nachschub abgeschnitten war. Weil: entweder ein gutes Team, oder gut organisiert, oder gar beides. Positiv = die Lage. Einerseist im Grünen, anderersits nahe der BAB A1. Im Sommer ist es überaus angenehem, auf der ruhigen und weitläufigen Terasse zu sitzen.

The lunch table is clear and kept rather small. The taste is not special.

I was there for the first and last time. There seems to be a choice, but there really isn't. The food at the buffet doesn't look appetizing because the grilled items are a disaster, the meat is too scary to touch, the raw salmon was cut and thrown in like it was for pigs, the raw shrimps were frozen so that you had to dig them out from a large layer of ice, the raw duck was not fried well. There is still no food left, only leftovers or crumbs. Lids are scattered all over the buffet. To see what there is to eat, first lift the lid and then you wonder if it's worth eating or if it's better to skip it. I was there on Sunday around 6 p.m. There's obviously a lot of traffic, but the crew isn't doing their job at all. Gluing tables not cleaned. I left disappointed considering the amount of €18.90 per person + €3.90 for a glass of Coca-Cola. Never go to this place again.
