We've actually eaten much, much worse. The food was ok. Drinks included also ok. Ambiance is semi good...

Great selection of food, even for people who don't like Asian food. Drinks also all-in. Service was also very nice and accommodating. The ambience itself is also good, but could be optimized here and there.

We were there at 1:30 p.m. I took something from the buffet and there wasn't much on display. What was there was lukewarm. Plates, three in a row, were still dirty. They served until 2:30 p.m opened, then everything should still be on display. Cutlery was dirty and so were the small bowls for soup. Everything was pretty worn out. The last time I was there was about 10 years ago and it was much better. I also told the waitress said everything to which she said "next time they come I'll pay more attention" and "they came really late that's why there was so little in the display". Hello? 1 hour before the end? I was then allowed to take the Fanta bottle with me as compensation. 🤐🫡 And €17.50 for it. Really disappointing.

It's not only all you can eat but also all you can drink for 26€ per person, each of us is fed up both the meat eaters and the vegetarians. The food was very tasty, especially the many different sauces. Unfortunately we only noticed when we went out that there was an ice cream machine and 2 chocolate fountains otherwise we would have stayed longer. We'd love to come back.

I do not advise anyone to come to this restaurant more than once. This restaurant is very expensive and the atmosphere is normal. I mean, a cup of cola for five euros is considered something fancy. Everything is there. There is food, but it is very expensive, and the father after ten years thinks he is old even though he is a boy. I do not advise anyone to go to an open buffet restaurant because it turns out to be a loss for everyone.

The atmosphere was terrible, there was no music, you could hear the clinking of forks on plates. The hygiene is also not particularly good: the plates are poorly washed, thick green flies fly around and land on the food. The service leaves a lot to be desired: we came to eat with our family, 5 people, we were left with about two plates of uneaten food and the waitress came to reprimand us that we had to finish eating. I find this unacceptable, I don't come to a restaurant to calculate how much I eat, but what I may not like and won't eat. The restaurant stops accepting new customers at 2:30 p.m., at 2:32 p.m. I went to pour my one-year-old child a glass of water before leaving the place and the waitress didn't allow me to do so because “she already did "The service is the weakest point of this establishment; the mood was ruined the whole day. Don't think of it as a restaurant, but as a public cafeteria where they are doing you a favor by allowing you to eat there eat.

Good service, nice staff but what we didn't like is prices and time is different than in online.

What can you say? There are reasons why the “restaurant” changes its name every two years. From the Oriental Palace to the Imperial Garden and now to China City. But that doesn't make the staff, ambience or even the food any better. Food that is lukewarm at most, freshly fried food is not even half cooked and hygiene is of the utmost importance. For us, this place is history, so we'd rather drive a little further and eat sensibly and without worrying about our health

We were here again after a long time. What I noticed positively was that some areas had been painted and some areas of the sanitary facilities had also been repaired. Basically the furniture is really getting old. The selection of drinks is plentiful and included in the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were there for the lunch buffet, all in all it was ok. The dishes were varied, unfortunately some of them weren't really hot.

Went back today for the first time in 4 years and unfortunately it wasn't good. There was a buffet. We were there at 12 o'clock and the food was consistently cold or lukewarm and sometimes so dry that you couldn't eat it. There was already a yellow, dry layer on the baked chicken, as if it had been lying there for ages. The staff was nice. Unusual that you had to take care of your own drinks, but it was ok. Unfortunately that was our last visit there.

Hello.. I was there yesterday and I have to say, the food was okay, but I really know better places that offer Asian buffets... The ambience really shocked me, everything was very old and rancid, it's better not to look under the ceiling , water stains everywhere and everything was poorly prepared, even the buffet wasn't very inviting.... It looks like nothing has been done there for years. Everything kind of thrown together... The staff was also strange, they tried to be friendly, but they came across as very tortured... The only person who made a nice impression was the gentleman at the checkout. There were no female waitresses, or I didn't notice them... Nevertheless, the food tasted quite good and there was everything there in terms of fresh things and meat and what was really good, there was a large selection of drinks, beers (about 6 types) were also included in the price and that's already for 26.00 good..... What I can't recommend was sushi, it had fried onions all over it and it tasted so dry, bahhhh. If you close your eyes and don't have high expectations of the ambience, you can eat and drink a lot there cheaply... And my stomach is fine too :)

Very good food and a cheap price. The place is a bit older, but well maintained! The children's playground needs some improvement, that's why I only give it 4 stars. I recommend with love.

The quality of the food was subpar, undercooked chicken, unhygienic conditions (flies) and no air conditioning in the interior. Priced at around €28 including drinks.

The food is really not good at all. For 29€ (Saturday evening price) there's really nothing special and I personally really don't like anything, except for the soft ice cream😅 You can get much better all-you-can-eat buffets in this price range, in which there are no flies, rotten fresh meat (for that... Grill), always filled containers and also delicious food. In the end, the star for me is because of the soft ice cream machine and since you can drink as much as you want included in the price, you can at least fill your stomach with it. The service is normally friendly, as you would expect from wonaders. But not outstanding or anything. During our visit we noticed broken seat cushions, non-functioning air conditioning, lots of flies and smelly coffee powder to repel the flies. Overall, the atmosphere is rather cheap and not really appealing. Colors don't match and are more likely to affect your mood rather than make you feel comfortable.

The quality is definitely better than in a similar location in Hamm, friendly staff - on the subject of ambience: it is a large restaurant with lots of seats and visitors, there are many things you can't do about it, but the windows urgently need to be cleaned 😉.

It couldn't be worse, sorry🙏 The “cook” at the Mongolian grill was totally overwhelmed. Taste 2/10 Ambiance 1/10 Never again!!!

So really this is one of the worst all you can eat Asians. Except the duck, everything tastes worse than anywhere else. Anyone who looks towards the Ruhr area or OWL will find much, much better. Sometimes a lot doesn't help much. There's a lot of unnecessary stuff on offer with Asian food like kebab skewers, Italian noodles, baked frozen pizza... it's all total rubbish and just shows that you can't impress with the actual Asian food. Sorry, anyone who gives 5 stars here has never eaten at a good Asian restaurant.

I took a short vacation in this friendly city. I have been to many, many buffet restaurants of this type around the world and the food here was simply perfect and couldn't be beaten in terms of variety! The price-performance ratio is awesome in Hamm 😄 Parking right in front of the door, friendly staff, the ambience is tasteless but was completely sufficient! I'd be happy to come back when I'm in the area again!

Buffet really delicious. There was food that was freshly prepared. You chose something and got ready. I didn't pay anything because we were invited. There were 30 people. My sister-in-law paid for everything.

Food was quite good, not much choice so far and €30 is pretty decent but otherwise it was fun. Would come again.

Today I was there eating 05/20/24 I can only say it was a disaster, I've been to this place many times but today it was worse than ever. Food had been standing there for hours, everything had dried out, half of it wasn't filled!!! The employees were very unfriendly after I asked them to refill my food!!!

Prices according to your mood. Because Mother's Day there is a 2€ surcharge. The food is lukewarm but there is enough to choose from

Ate from the buffet. Food was good. The ambience has nothing to do with a Chinese restaurant.

Very tasty, great value for money. We went there for the first time with our 1.5 year old daughter and it was great! Nobody cares if the children wander through the aisles because there are always people milling about through the aisles to the buffet anyway. So someone else from our family would always go “walking” with her and she would be busy and happy that she didn’t just have to sit at the table. I can't imagine a normal restaurant with such small children. The employees joked with her. The food was regularly replenished at the buffet and, as always, was very tasty and varied and always warm. We also think the two chocolate fountains and the ice cream selection are great. A great combo for dessert. You can take your own drinks, from hot water for tea to coffee machines and refrigerators with water, beer, cola, etc. There should actually be something suitable for everyone. The only thing that was a bit of a shame was the children's room. It's nice and quiet at the other end, but it urgently needs to be renovated. A play carpet with a street pattern has been laid, but there is no lighting and so the small room is just dark and smells musty of sweat. There were a few plastic Lego bricks on the floor, most of which were unusable because they were broken or missing parts. Nevertheless, we were grateful for the room that day because it was quieter there than in the rest of the restaurant and it might be good for children to be able to breathe a sigh of relief from the hustle and bustle, although it would definitely be nicer with better air and some light in there were. Otherwise it was a great day, what we would have liked at the end of the day at a Chinese restaurant might have been fortune cookies, especially since it was my birthday that day, but maybe it's no longer common practice to get them these days. Definitely highly recommended for a relaxed community meal, something for everyone and also doable with (small) children.

I can't understand the sometimes quite negative reviews here. We have always felt well served and cared for here. The buffet is constantly refilled, and everything is still available even shortly before closing. The staff moves quickly and clears up regularly. During our last visit there were even two companies and the normal customers here. You don't celebrate a wedding in a restaurant that doesn't offer the same quality, right? And even though it was extremely full, everything was available, there was no rush from the employees, everything was top notch. Of course, Mongolian takes a little longer. We'd love to come back.

Was there last time yesterday. For the first time it wasn't overcrowded, but empty dishes weren't refilled even when asked. They started wiping during opening hours, which is simply not appropriate. So I was able to eat a whole plate with some sauce and then there was nothing left of what I liked.

We were there for the first and last time. You sit down and no one asks or comes. At some point you just go to the buffet. Plates are only picked up sporadically after they pile up at the place... The games room is a laughing stock. An empty room... No climbing frame or slide or even light... A few tree blocks in the corner... We arrived at 2:30 p.m. When we left at 5:12 p.m. we were suddenly told to pay the normal evening price, with no indication that you had to leave the place by 5 p.m. to get the lunch price. Like when no one speaks to you. 2 groups behind us had the same lack of understanding and were angry. The food is average at best. The zucchini, for example, is 1 to 2 cm thick! Discs presented. The pangasius fillet is presented in the whole piece. No cutting tools whatsoever. All in all, presented carelessly and in plastic containers... Ambience from the 70s.... No thanks. Then it's better to drive a little further and enjoy.

Like at the train station. Everything is really tight. Meat fried to death and people can't behave. Take 5 spoonfuls of something and eat just one forkful of it. The rest is thrown away. Prices totally raised for poor quality Last time here, otherwise enjoyed being here.

Unfortunately we didn't like it very much. The food was totally oily and lukewarm. Heartlessly prepared and unappetizing. The tastiest was the Latte Machiato. The ambience was fine. Staff overworked, but friendly.

When we asked the staff about the mold, the word "oh other customers like it" was quite cheeky! Definitely the last time for us. It's impossible to sit at a table like that with a baby. Wrong cocktails were brought to the table and when we tried to exchange them, they said we had gotten the right ones. The food lukewarm to cold. The fruit is totally unripe.

Food is decent, cleanliness is questionable

Overall, unkempt, dingy and shabby. The buffet is obviously not cleaned in between. There was food leftovers everywhere that had fallen next to it. Visually quite unappetizing. The sauces are very thick and thick. The "toilets" should better be called "Sch....haus". In the men's toilet. Two out of three toilet pots were clogged with unrolled toilet paper or entire rolls. Everything was swimming in yellow broth. A huge, wide puddle in front of the urinals. Simply disgusting! How the good reviews came about remains a mystery to me. But if you want mass for little money and don't have any demands, you can go there. At least not us again!

Mold problem! When you enter through the main entrance, the window area on the right is completely full of mold, which should never happen in a restaurant and especially not to this extent. This should be taken care of urgently. I could see water stains on the ceiling in just about every area. Some of the food was only lukewarm and the fried noodles were cold. The selection isn't bad, but you should also make sure that the food is kept really warm. I can't say anything negative about the staff. Empty plates were cleared away quite quickly.

Unfortunately my meat and fish were grilled to death. The finished dishes were okay. A wide variety of food.

Far too full, the buffet was sometimes so overcrowded that the food on the plate was cold again while standing in line and waiting. Alcoholic drinks included. You can tell, you can hear it! Trying makes you smart!

Simple and inexpensive Chinese restaurant Visited on Saturday lunchtime for a Chinese buffet including quality drinks for €17.90 per adult. Positive: Sushi selection surprisingly large and good Drinks selection also positively surprised Chinese buffet extensive and good Starters and desserts were plentiful and available Negative: Cleanliness (e.g. windows, carpet, various dishes) needs improvement Conclusion: Price performance is good, hard to find anywhere else. The whole restaurant is a little old and offers solid food and drinks. Of course there are nicer restaurants, but they also cost a lot more money. We will definitely come back to the large buffet on Saturday evening / Sunday lunch including a large grill!!!

Unfortunately the quality of the food is not good. The meat for the supposed Mongolian grill station is extremely stringy and tough, and the fish doesn't seem particularly fresh due to its noticeably strong fishy smell. The staff is massively overwhelmed. Orders are forgotten or drinks are delivered incorrectly. The finished dishes are over-fried and simply drowned in sweet and sour sauce. Some of the plates were dirty at the serving station and the cutlery also had stains.

Wir sind eigentlich häufig hier gewesen , aber amkl Sonntag zum letzten Mal,wir dachten es hat sich verbessert aber wir mussten das Gegenteil feststellen, die behälter glänzen mit trockenen Essen Resten, das Essen wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt, das Personal hat Pause gemacht, und die bestückten Teller zum fertig braten wurden nicht beachtet,die Desert Abteilung war kaum gefüllt oder mit gefrorenen Kuchen . Für uns war es das letzte Mal

Sehr gute gebratene Nudeln. Gemüse war bissfest und frisch, Nudeln auf dem Punkt so das es ein Genuss war sie zu verspeisen. Preis Leistung war auch super so das man als Gast vollständig auf seine Kosten kommt. Nur zu empfehlen wenn man gut Chinesisch essen möchte.

Wir waren zu zweit hier zum Mittagsbuffet. Essen war sehr gut, Personal sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen war reichlich vorhanden, von Fisch, Fleisch, Sushi, süßes, Saures, Nudeln, fernöstliche Spezialitäten genauso wie westliches Essen. Hier werden auch die Satt die nur Pommes, Nuggets, Schwein, Kroketten, Dönerfleisch usw. essen. Getränke wie Cola, Wasser und Bier sind im Preis enthalten. Cocktails kosten extra. Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein schöner Restaurantbesuch. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Netter All You can Eat Asiate. Man kriegt hier sogar so viele Getränke wie man möchte, sogar Bier und Dunkelbier ist inklusive. So kann man einen geselligen Abend verbringen. Die Auswahl beim Essen ist sehr gut, der Geschmack ist eher durchschnittlich aber für den Preis darf man auch nicht mehr erwarten. Service ist im Grunde kaum bis gar nicht vorhanden. Man wird per Fingerzeig an einem beordert und das wars. Ab dann hat man erst wieder mit dem Personal zu tun wenn man bezahlt. Mir gefiel das sogar, da ich Selbstbedienung bevorzuge aber wer das erste mal dort ist wartet vielleicht vergebens darauf das ein Kellner kommt und die Bestellung fürs Buffet aufnimmt. Aber man kein einfach direkt zum Buffet laufen.

Das Essen uns Service sind völlig ok,am Ambiente sollte man dringend was tun,im Lokal herrscht teilweise eine Massenabfertigung statt,die Wartezeit am Büffettisch hoch....muss man mögen!

Das Essen ist gut und das Personal wirklich freundlich und gibt sich mühe.Eigentlich kann man nichts schlechtes sagen,jedoch ist die Belüftung in den Räumen wirklich nicht gut.

Ich empfehle hier niemanden hinzugehen der richtig asiatische Küche will wird hier definitiv enttäuscht. Ente und Hähnchen zu trocken, Rinderfleisch entweder wie Gummi oder wie Schuhsohle. Sauberkeit ist auch nur mit viel Nettigkeiten eine 4

Ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

Leider muss ich meine gute Bewertung revidieren. Wie schon die Namensänderung von Kaisergarten zu China City, lässt auch das Essen und die Hygiene zu wünschen. Zunächst waren die Gläser durchweg dreckig, Schlieren und Fingerabdrücke ohne Ende. Der Service weiterhin durchweg sehr gut und freundlich, dafür auch die Sterne. Das Essen leider überladen mit Glutamat und nicht mehr so schmackhaft wie im Kaisergarten. Zudem waren bei uns und wie wir mitbekamen auch am Nachbar Tisch, auf jedem Teller, die für uns zubereitet wurden, Dinge, die wir nicht in die Zubereitung gegeben haben. Sehr ärgerlich, da auf einmal Tintenfischringe und Garnelen auf dem Teller waren, obwohl ich eine Schalen- und Krustentier Allergie habe. Eine sehr beliebte Speise, wie das Rindfleisch mit Zwiebeln, dabei kamen auf 20 Zwiebelstücke ungefähr 1 Stück Fleisch. Das Dessertbuffet zum größten Teil abgegrast. Sehr, sehr ernüchternd und schade. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht mehr.

Wir waren bestimmt das letzte mal da. Fast das ganze Essen zwischen lauwarm und kalt. Das einzige wo die Temperatur stimmte war die Suppe.Das Eis war schon in der Truhe auseinander geflossen.Die gebackene Ananas schmeckte als wenn der Fisch in der gleichen Pfanne gebraten wurde.USW .SEHR Enttäuscht

Soweit lecker. Kinderecke ist an sich toll, allerdings etwas schmuddelig.

Brauch mal wieder eine Generalüberholung, ganz schön Abgerockt das Autohaus äh Chinarestaurant. Fliegen flogen ums Buffet herum so das der Besitzer mit den Räuchern anfing. Der Rest war sonst wie immer. Der Preis war für 4 Personen in Ordnung.

Reiche Auswahl am Chinesischen und Mongolen Buffet. Getränke Flat einzig wenn es sehr voll ist finde ich es nicht so gut.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Die Toiletten gehören aber komplett Saniert

Das Essen hat stark nach gelassen,teilweise ist das Essen kalt oder nur lauwarm wenn man es vom Buffet nimmt.Das frisch gebratene ist nicht durch gebraten und teilweise noch roh oder zäh.Das Personal ist freundlich.

Wir waren dort spontan zum Abendbüffet Essen. Servicepersonal war super und zuvorkommend. All you can eat inkl. Getränke.also Essen, Trinken sind akzeptabel Mir fiel auf, dass um einige Fenster Feuchtigkeit und Schimmel ist und Wasserflecken an der Decke... Wollte mit meiner Tochter dann in den Spielbereich , weil sie nicht mehr sitzen wollte. Als ich in den Spielbereich kam , hab ich mich erschrocken. Die Wände sind teilweise kaputt. Das Spielzeug hat Löcher und es ist richtig dreckig. Hab absatzkehrt gemacht. Wir sind dann gegangen.
