Ein perfektes Restaurant mit einem überaus freundlichen Kellner. Das Essen war köstlich und die Atmosphäre ebenfalls sehr angenehm.

Absolut der beste Service und das beste Essen in ganz Deutschland! Grillen zu zweit – unvergesslich! ;)

Sehr angenehme Bautzner Gaststätte in der Innenstadt. Ausgeprägt gastfreundliche, lockere Bedienung,es wurde sich Zeit genommen, um einen Tisch zu finden und mit telefonischer Rückfrage, um mitzuteilen, dass man zu einer gewünschten Zeit seinen Platz bekommt. 😃 Essen war sehr gut; Service, trotz großer Geburtstagsrunde top, so sollte das sein; man sollte vorbestellen; Jederzeit gern wieder!

Das Essen hat wirklich allen super geschmeckt und die Bedienung war freundlich. Wenn man allerdings mit einer Gruppe und entsprechend getaktetem Tagesprogramm trotz detalliert vorbestelltem Essen eine ganze Stunde darauf warten muss - das geht gar nicht. Tut mir leid. Ich habe in der Branche gelernt und wenn eine Gesellschaft für 12 Uhr bestellt hat, dann war das Essen auch 12 Uhr fertig.

Einfach nur wunderbar. Das Personal geschäftstüchtig, aber nicht negativ gesehen. Ich hatte die Zunge bestellt. Sie war "butterzart". Einziger Wermutstropfen, das Essen hätte etwas heißen sein dürfen.

Freundliche Bedienung, etwas gewartet, was sich lohnt, weil frisch gekocht. Sehr gut gegessen, Prei/Leistung sehr gut. 😋

Uhrige Gaststätte mit Charme. Sehr leckeres bürgerliches Essen und ein super Service zeichnen die Gaststätte aus.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort und uns hat der außergewöhnlich gute Service gefallen. Das Essen - in meinem Fall Parmesanschnitzel mit Gemüse und Bratkartoffeln - war ebenfalls lecker. Das Restaurant ist eher rustikal eingerichtet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Sind spontan hier eingekehrt und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Hatten Vorspeise und Hauptspeise. Die Portionen waren genau richtig und sehr schmackhaft. Das Restaurant ist schön urig. Die Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber. Kommen wieder.

Ich war heute mit meiner Freundin zum Valentinstag dort Essen . Wir können diese Gaststätte nur empfehlen. Super Essen und sehr nettes Personal. Kleine Pannen wurden durch Herzlichkeit von beiden Seiten ausgeglichen. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Wir waren zu 6. Hatten vorher reserviert, was auch gut war, denn das Restaurant war gut besucht. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich, qualitativ hochwertig und hat uns allen gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war freundlich und die Atmosphäre angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Leider zu Weihnachten alles schief gegangen. Zuerst einmal fehlte bei der Reservierung eine Vorabinfo, das es zu we7hnachten ausschließlich ein Menü geben wird. Der Hinweis, daß ein Gast Zöliakie hat und daher glutenfrei essen muss, wurde zwar zur Kenntnis genommen aber leider nicht weiter gegeben. Der Kellner gab sich unheimlich große Mühe eine Lösung zu finden, brachte dann Klöße mit semmelbrösel oben drauf. Trotz Rückfrage wurde das Glutenfrei bestätigt. Zum Glück haben wir uns nicht gleich drauf gestürzt. Dann kam die Warnung aus der Küche, das es do h nicht ganz glutenfrei ist. Die Klöße die es dann gab, hatten leider nur Brotkrumen innen drin. Also hier hat sich jemand in der Küche wirklich mit Ruhm bekleckert. Echt traurig. Das man damit massive Gesundheitsschäden hervorrufen kann, hat der hochqualifizierte Koch wohl in der Ausbildung? nicht gelernt. Also einfach nicht zu empfehlen. Achso. Der Rest war ok, aber dem Preis nicht angemessen und das man bei den Gänsen noch Federn aus der Haut ziehen muss, war dann irgendwie nebensächlich. Frohe Weihnachten.

I have the impression that the portions are getting smaller and smaller. A few years ago, you could barely finish a plate. Now you don't even get properly full. The turkey steak au four was very meager. The taste was okay, though. There's definitely room for improvement.

We got a table today around 2:00 p.m. The service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The chanterelle mushroom dishes were delicious. Payment was made in cash. One irritation arose: The blonde waitress was loudly and negatively discussing a new colleague with guests she apparently knew. Such conversations should, if at all, be held more quietly or in another location.

A traditional restaurant – it's been in Bautzen for a long time – and what makes it special is, of course, its connection to the old Karasek restaurant. It's also very comfortable to sit outside. The service is quick and extremely friendly. The food is standard, nothing extraordinary, but overall it tastes really good. What I didn't like at all – hence only 3 stars – is the use of convenience food, i.e., pre-made products that make the chef's life easier. Sure, with potatoes, fries, etc. – no problem. But the baked Camembert was simply tasteless and had been pan-fried for too long. The hollandaise sauce on the tongue was definitely from a 5-liter package. And then they advertise it as "Saxon Quarkkeulchen." But they're spelled "QUARKKÄULCHEN," because the word "Käulchen" comes from "Kaule," which means "ball" in Saxon. These are roughly formed from the dough before portions are cut off, slightly flattened, and fried in hot fat. Indeed, something special and regional. Even better with raisins. But it's probably for those who don't know what something like that tastes like. I've made them myself. And yes, it's a bit time-consuming. But the way they tasted at Karasek is something you really wouldn't want to subject your guests to. And you wouldn't even want Saxony—known for its good cuisine—to be associated with something like that. These "Quarkkeulchen" were truly horrible, hard and solid, and quite tasteless, reminiscent of a cobbler's rag. It's a good thing they're misspelled, too. Sorry about that. Actually, Ilona and Ringo don't deserve it, because they're both really nice.

We went out to dinner last night with a reservation. We had two Wiener schnitzels, which I don't recommend. They tasted more like breading than schnitzel, and were very small, with no seasoning at all. Not worth €24.50.

I was at Karasek for lunch a while ago and sat outside – a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was, as always, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and attentive, and you feel completely at home. A lovely place to enjoy a little break – highly recommended!

We stopped by spontaneously today and were not disappointed. Food was quick and tasty. The people are all kind. Only the vegetarian dishes could have been a little more extensive for the price.

So first of all, we had a nice weekend in Bautzen and wanted to end it with a nice dinner. So we stopped at the Zum Karasek restaurant because we were interested in the duck leg. We were lucky, it was the last two. Red cabbage was no longer available, well, let's just use Brussels sprouts. When the plates came, my jaw dropped a little. No dumplings but dumplings, no side salad, very small Brussels sprouts and everything carelessly prepared. The leg was probably from a young duck, but at least it was hot. Everything else warm to cold. Eaten, paid and out.

Perfect place to relax, food was perfect. The beautiful atmosphere completes our stay in the city.

Today we went to “Karasek” again and were thrilled as always. The service is warm and very friendly. The cuisine is quick and very traditional. We are always happy when we are here and would love to come back. The food is plentiful and very tasty. The Karasek is an institution in Bautzen. Since 1992. Been there today. Ate very well. Service was friendly. A very good recommendation! Keep it up!

The service was nice and the food was hot. You shouldn't be claustrophobic on the toilet, it's very narrow 😅 Unfortunately the steak was not medium rare and the turkey meat was tough. The fish and risotto were very good. The fried potatoes were good.

Went there for a family meal and were able to order very quickly BUT the waitress was friendly but very lively and confused. You had to wait a long time for the drinks. There was a lot of confusion in understanding the order. You had to wait 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours for the starters and then it wasn't exactly very tasty. You got a small camembert with salad which had a very strange dressing. The main course came about 30 minutes later. The schnitzel was very thin and had more breading than meat, the chanterelles weren't tasty. The salmon cubes with the pasta were still raw and so on. The children's meals looked and tasted like frozen goods. I also think it's very overpriced for the amount you get. I wouldn't recommend it, but that's my opinion if you still want to try it.

We were looking forward to a lovely evening with the family. When we arrived we were shown the table straight away. The order was taken quite confusingly. Changing dishes a little is only possible with an additional charge of 5 euros, but in my opinion it's cheeky. After about 1 to 1 1/2 hours the starter finally arrived, only some of which tasted good. The main courses didn't taste good at all. The schnitzel was so thin that you had to look for it in the breading, the fried potatoes didn't taste good and the seasoning was completely forgotten. The children's meals were from the freezer. The Kassler was supposed to come with dumplings. You also had to wait a long time for the drinks. So in the end for such prices I would definitely not recommend anything more.

The food was moderate. The smoked pork in a cream sauce (or hollandaise? You couldn't identify it.) was an extraordinary dish... but not in a good way. There were supposed to be dumplings with it, but dumplings were served. The Brussels sprouts were okay. The waiting times are debatable... Waiting 2 hours for the starter is a long time, but you'll have to accept that for a good dish. Unfortunately, there was no talk of a good dish here. The young waitress was nice, the older waitress asked several times about the order we had placed and even completely forgot my drink at the table while the other people at my table were already being served. For anyone who wants to try it: You don't have to try and taste everything. It is not recommended here.

The service is great. The food is ok but unfortunately not anymore

Summary in advance: Too many industrial products on the table. No recommendation. Unfortunately, the spiced meat was really really bad and came from a can. Basically industrial slime gratinated with analogue cheese. That had nothing to do with cooking. I don't go to restaurants for hollandaise from a tetra pack with bitter asparagus during asparagus season. I simply expect more from a season ticket. Schnitzel was good in terms of craftsmanship and taste, but was so flat that it would have fit under the door and was therefore unfortunately very dry. Everything was arranged like it was 40 years ago - okay but rather careless and uncreative. A few decorative herbs on the edge of the plate and over the potatoes as well as an orphaned, undressed lettuce leaf as a side dish. The menu and the ambience reflect the era in which it was fashionable to serve like this. Everything could certainly use a new creative impetus and seems old-fashioned. I also find it unfortunate to spell your own dishes incorrectly. It can happen at Kasseler and is usually not worth mentioning, but here it somehow fits into the unloving overall picture. I generally missed homemade sauces, because that's how you can always tell whether they're cooked properly or just stirred. The service was quick and friendly, but seemed a bit hectic and hectic, which I would rather not have at the table. In defense- there was a lot going on though. The portion size and prices are okay, but looking back I would probably spend €10 more and would rather have a good product on my plate.
