We were traveling with a group of 20 people as part of BAUMA and stopped at Zlatko's on Friday evening without making a reservation. We were all thrilled by the delicious food and the friendly service. The following Saturday we were there again. This time we called in advance and ordered roast pork for everyone that wasn't on the reduced BAUMA menu. Our wish was fulfilled and we had a great evening with a really good atmosphere until closing time. On behalf of the company Mechnig GmbH Rheinbreitbach We would like to thank you again very much for the great hours, the great service from Zlatko with the support of dad and last but not least to mom in the kitchen who cooked for us so well. Thank you again! We hope to see each other again at the next BAUMA at the latest.

I ate cheese spaetzle. There was too much cream in it for me and the fried onions were stuck together in a big ball. The service was okay. My friends had a currywurst, schnitzel and sausage salad. Unfortunately there was no highlight.

The Funkstüberl is disappointing. Yesterday shortly before 6 p.m.: We were looking forward to a delicious meal and a cozy atmosphere, but instead we found ourselves in front of a closed door. According to the window notice, it should open from 5 p.m. What's that supposed to mean?

After an unfortunate experience at the Augustiner bar, this place absolutely lives up to it's expectations! Very cozy pub with good beer and service, exactly what I would expect from Munich.

We were very satisfied here. The waiter was quick and very friendly, the food was good and large and there was even unlimited cranberries. The schnapps (4cl) was a bit hard for us, so you could use something that doesn't take your shoes off. Bottom line: 5 stars

This is a racist restaurant. It was a young male employee, but he didn't show me his seat for a long time, so he ignored me when I tried to talk to him. Additionally, there are many better restaurants nearby, so I recommend looking elsewhere.

We had two sausage plates and a schnitzel. All dishes were swimming in fat/oil. The schnitzel was very dry. I wouldn't eat here again. The beer was ok and the service was friendly.

We loved everything! The service was very good, we did not know the local dishes well and they helped us with a description of them, as well as a recommendation on how to eat them! Very rich and forceful. The place itself is very entertaining, good atmosphere. We stayed chatting with the owner and he even gave us a small courtesy gift! Highly recommended! 10/10

As laid-back travelers, we are very open to food experiences, but the food at this place was the biggest disappointment in our entire trip through Europe! I ordered schnitzel and potato salad. Instead, I got watery cold potatoes with chunks of onions and some timid cucumber pieces, and the schnitzel was the greasiest ever! My husband had a grilled mix that was detestable! He simply couldn't finish his meal. For the sake of each Munich's visitors' enjoyable experience, I advise you to avoid this place by all means! The place was also very dirty and smelly - the cushions of the seats looks and smells to be the same since the 1800s (no joke). Well, 60€ thrown through the window.... Kudos to the waiter who was a nice and polite fellow.

Really great Bavarian food - big portions

Good alternative to the neighboring turbulent Augustinerbräu, it was quieter and the cheese spaetzle was good. Networks service. Only the cleanliness of the toilet facility could be optimized a bit 😀

So if there's one place you shouldn't go to in Munich, then this is it. Super unfriendly, food ok. But you should avoid unfriendly treatment from the staff. There are so many beautiful ones Alternatives!

Very friendly and helpful waiter. Nice atmosphere, good vibes. The cevapcici made by the mother were very tasty. The Spaten beer tastes really tasty and tasty. I felt so comfortable that I went there again the next day.

What a nice and cozy place. The owner was serving the whole bar and terrace alone during the European championship games and was still smiling and being super friendly. The food tastes like homemade food 🙏

After visiting Circus Krone we were looking for a nice little restaurant. Since we had 2 children (7.5) with us, we decided on a home-style kitchen. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, which surprised us afterwards. The service, food, portion size and price were excellent. Since we couldn't eat everything due to its size, we had the rest packed up. We can recommend the Funkstadel.

Place is really good and really friendly service

I fell on the tramway right in front of the restaurant. After I had hit my entire face and wanted to sit down for a moment to wait for the ambulance, the only answer I got from the waiter was "All right, but don't mess up my table because you're bleeding." Frankly, I find that to be a real impudence.

The Funkstadl near the main train station and central bus station is not only centrally located, but also has a typically Bavarian interior. Today it was surprisingly empty and there were only a few guests, so the order was completed quite quickly. Otherwise, depending on the crowds, it can take a while, but that shouldn't be a problem. The beer was cold and tasty as always and the schnitzel with fries we ordered was large, wide and juicy. And if you think that there was only one schnitzel on the plate, I'll say right now, no, you're wrong, unfortunately, there were two. Conclusion: At the Funkstadl it was tasty, it was cozy and for 1 beer, 2 schnitzels with fries for around 25 euros in downtown Munich, a reasonable price. Nice little place. The food was generally very good, unfortunately our bread was moldy. We got a fresh one straight away but unfortunately nothing came apart from the excuse “just bought it today”. Since the service staff was alone, the food took a long time.

Very nice little restaurant in Munich. Small menu but super tasty and good quality. Price performance is perfect here. We had a company dinner with 5 people, different dishes but everything to the point and at the table almost at the same time. Service was friendly, courteous and left a good impression.

If you have to wait for the long-distance bus for a bit (in particular in winter and evening) it's the perfect spot to hangout, have a last Bavarian beer and some local food. Worth the visit for sure.

The quantity of food is sufficient. But the prices are upper limit. A pint of beer costs over €5.

Essen hat mich leider nicht überzeugt und die Auswahl ist nicht so groß. Stimmung und Service sind aber gut.

Wir sind mit 6 Personen (2 deutsch, 4 kanadisch) am 21.10. dort zum Essen gewesen, sehr netter Service, für München faire Preise, das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, es hat etwas gedauert, aber darauf wurden wir beim Bestellen hingewiesen. Jederzeit empfehlenswert!

Haben uns ein Schnitzel nach Wiener Art mit Pommes (16.-€) und ein Münchner Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat (17.50€) bestellt, beides war lecker, einziges manko es gab keinen kleinen Salat zum Wiener Schnitzel dazu auch nicht zum extra bestellen. Kellner schnell und freundlich, die Wirtschaft nicht allzu groß und im Bauernstuben style eingerichtet, hat uns gut gefallen

Ein super schönes, uriges und leckeres Familienrestaurant. Die einzige Bedienung ist super freundlich, auch wenn man manchmal merkt, dass sie den Service alleine macht. Das Essen ist immer super lecker, hier merkt man sofort, dass die Mama selbst in der Küche steht. Da sie auch alleine ist, kann es schon mal etwas länger dauern. Alles in allem ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Das Lokal hat ein sehr uriges Ambiente und als wir dort waren, war der Laden vielleicht zu 70% ausgelastet. Wir wurden bei der Begrüßung direkt auf eine lange Wartezeit beim Essen hingewiesen. Getränke kamen schnell und waren sehr lecker! Das essen nach circa 45 Minuten auch. Da ja bescheid gesagt wurde kein Problem, aber auch ohne Bescheid finde ich die Zeit noch O.K. Geschmacklich sehr sehr lecker und durch aus zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung war, dafür das sie alleine war, sehr auf Zack und sogar mehrsprachig. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren dort zum Mittagessen. Es gab ein Schnitzel mit einer Meerettichpanade und warmen Kartoffelsalat. Habe ich noch nie gegessen! ! ! War aber der Hammer. Das Restaurant sieht unscheinbar aus,ist aber innen wie eine Hütte gestaltet. Das Schnitzel wurde traditionell in Butter gebraten und warf auch schöne Blasen. Es war ein sehr stimmiges Essen ,das ich mir mit einem Apfelstrudel mit Vanilleeis und Schlagsahne abrundete. Das Personal war wunderbar und sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Fünf Sterne von mir.

Nie wieder, alles sehr ungepflegt, die Toiletten waren sehr verschmutzt. Das Essen ging einigermaßen.

Sind hier spontan gelandet, da wir im Anschluss zu einer Show wollten. Der Kellner war schnell und freundlich und das Essen sehr gut und reichlich. Das Ambiente ist mehr als rustikal, aber nicht unangenehm!

Fuimos de casualidad ya que estaba cerca de nuestro hotel. A primera vista, no llama la atención, se ve una pequeña taberna con pocas mesas y pasa desapercibida ya que no hay tanto ruido como en otros lugares de Münich. Nos atendió un camarero súper amable que nos recomendó los platos típicos y la cerveza. Todo estaba exquisito, para mí fue el mejor restaurante de Münich tanto por la comida, el lugar y la atención.

Da wir abends unter der Woche im benachbarten "Augustinerkeller" zu vier bereits platzierten Gästen an den Tisch hätten dazu sitzen müssen (Covid 19?), fanden wir uns unvorhergesehenerweise hier wieder! Das Stüberl ist nicht sehr groß und dadurch gemütlich, die dargebotene Küche bayrisch/kroatisch. Wir bestellten ein "Szegediner Gulasch" (zu EUR 14.50) sowie ein "Münchner Schnitzel" (mit Meerrettich in der Panade, sehr fein) und hausgemachtem Kartoffelsalat (zu EUR 16.50) und beides schmeckte uns sehr gut und kam auch ohne lange Wartezeit. Der Kellner geht nicht gerade in seinem Beruf auf, aber es hat schon gepasst.

We stayed in Munich for 3 days and we ate at Funkstadl every single day. Food was absolutely delicious, everything was well done and the staff (especially the waiter) was so nice and kind. Beer was something incredible. We will never forget Munich and the kindness of the people that welcomed us. Grazie mille, sei il migliore, a presto!

Poor service in this replica Bavarian beer cellar. As I ordered my second beer to wash down a reasonable schnitzel and fries a I was informed that I would have to be quick the owner wanted an early night – this as well before 22.00. I will not be going again and there are many “real” Bavarian beer houses in the neighbourhood.

We spent a few nights in Munich and chose to eat here 2 nights which is something we rarely do because we enjoy trying different restaurants. The restaurant is very casual, and the prices are very reasonable. We were 5 adults and everyone enjoyed the variety of meals we had....the schnitzel was really good, and the sauerkraut was so good we wanted to bottle it up and take it home with us. We enjoyed our beers and the atmosphere. A very nice man named Zladko served us both evenings. (Hope I spelled that right). This is really close to the train station, and was close by our AIRBnB. If you want a night that is a little quieter than the big beer halls can deliver, this is the place to go.
