Ein ganz tolles Restaurant in München, besonders gut gelegen, wenn man eine Vorstellung bei Circus Krone besuchen will. Das Essen war seeeehr lecker, der Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Fragt mich nicht, was wir gegessen haben, als Deutscher kannst du dir die Namen nicht merken..🤣 Abzug bei Ambiente: es liegt halt an der Hauptstraße, was etwas ungemütlich ist, wenn man draußen sitzt, aber Dekoriert ist es wirklich hübsch. Drinnen haben wir nicht gesessen.

Essen bestellt und schon war es da. Optimal für Umsteigenge Leute am ZOB falls das Restaurant gerade nicht so stark gefüllt ist. Essen lecker und schön angerichtet

Wir waren zu zweit für einen vietnamesischen Kaffe dort, der sehr lecker war. Beim Bar-Bezahlen habe ich ein kleines Trinkgeld aufgeschlagen, so dass ich 10 Eur Wechselgeld zurück erwartete. Ich musste leider zweimal nachfragen, bis ich mein Wechselgeld erhielt, nachdem die Kellnerin sich bereits auf dem Weg weg vom Tisch gemacht hatte. Das sollte nicht passieren.

Ein sehr angenehmer und stimmungsvoller Ort. Angemessene Preise und nur 5 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof und Busbahnhof entfernt.

Neuer Vietnamese im Funkstadl. Toller Einrichtungsmix, netter Service und schmackhaftes Essen.

Eine wunderschöne Stadt, eine Mischung aus Europa und Asien. Die Speisekarte ist wie eine kulinarische Entdeckungsreise, aber alles ist sehr lecker und wunderbar. Die Musik ist großartig!

Vier Gerichte getestet, aber leider alle nicht gut.Die Reisnudelschale bestand fast nur aus Reisnudeln. Zudem vergleichsweise teuer.

Update mit neuer Leitung seit Januar 2026: Freundliches Personal und gutes Essen, aber für das Gebotene und die Portionsgrößen zu teuer. Kartenzahlung wurde durch unsinnige Regeln erschwert.

Mega leckeres Essen! Die Portionen sind zwar nicht üppig, aber dafür sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll angerichtet. Qualität vor Quantität ist mir ohnehin lieber. Die Gewürze und Speisen sind sehr authentisch und bringen Freude im Gaumen. Kein Vergleich zu den Glutamat- und Geschmacksverstärkern verseuchten Gerichte der asiatischen Konkurrenz. Die Preise sind nicht überzogen und teilweise sogar günstig für das was man bekommt. Es freut uns, dass man auf einen Umbau der ehemals ländlich eingerichteten Wirtschaft verzichtet hat und so einen Mix zwischen bayerischem Flair und top-vietnamesischen Essen bekommt. Das Personal sprüht vor Freundlichkeit und ihre ein wenig verplante Art macht sie so sympathisch. Trotz Reservierung um 21:00 und unserer viel zu frühen Ankunft um 20:20 wurde sofort ein Tisch für uns frei gemacht. Das erlebt man auch nicht oft in München, wo man ohne Reservierungen keine Chance hat Abends mal auszugehen. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon.

Wir waren am Valentinstag dort – das Restaurant war komplett voll, was verständlich ist. Ohne Reservierung hätte man sicher keinen Tisch bekommen. Leider war das Erlebnis insgesamt enttäuschend: Der Service ließ stark zu wünschen übrig, die Bar stapelte sich mit ungespülten Gläsern, und niemand kümmerte sich darum. Es wurden neue Getränke gebracht und die alten nicht mitgenommen, nur nach direkter Aufforderung wurden sie entfernt nachdem der Service mehrfach leer an uns vorbei ist. Wir kommen aus dem Service, man geht niemals leer zurück! Das Essen hat extrem lange gedauert – über eine Stunde bis zur Vorspeise, die dann teils kalt serviert wurde. Die Hauptspeise war nur mittelmäßig, und auch die Getränke schmeckten eher mit Wasser verdünnt als nach Cocktails. Bei den Garnelen-Dumplings hatten wir sogar Zweifel, ob sie richtig durch waren. Zum Glück war da nichts! Auch an den Nachbartischen hörte man ähnliche Beschwerden über lange Wartezeiten und falsch servierte (nicht vegitarische) Gerichte. Für den Erhalt der Rechnung habe ich die Stoppuhr benutzt, 15min hat's gedauert, der Nachbartisch hatte vor uns schon die Rechnung bestellt und kam nicht vor uns dran, da hat's bestimmt 30min gedauert. Insgesamt extrem viel Luft nach oben, vorallem beim Service als auch bei der Qualität.

1,5 h Wartezeit auf das Essen, dass wurde vergessen, Vorspeise wurde uns nach der geschmacklosen kalten Hauptspeise serviert.

Hier hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt! Nette Menschen, wirklich großartiges Essen, wunderschön angerichtet und ein gemütliches Umfeld. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Restaurant hat einen neuen und bunten Anstrich bekommen und serviert nun Asia Fusion Küche. Das neue Ambiente ist bunt und farbenfroh, die frischen Blumen machen den Raum schön. Die Speisekarte ist viel zu viel und definitiv überladen mit der Auswahl. Die Vorspeisenvariante für 2 Peronen ist sehr überschaubar und mit persönlich zu wenig abwechslungsreich reis und zu klein für den Preis den man dafür bezahlt. Die Hauptspeisen waren sehr frisch zubereitet und gut abgeschmeckt und gut. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Toiletten im Restaurant sind leider nicht all zu modern und könnten definitiv etwas mehr aufmerksam verdienen. Alles in allem ein gutes Restaurant jedoch auch nichts besonderes leider.

Neueröffnung, die Speisekarte ist mir persönlich zu überfrachtet. Das Essen ist schön angerichtet, das Auge ist mit. Geschmacklich fand ich es jetzt nicht so toll, das Fleisch war ok. Preislich ist es eher gehoben.

Das war richtig gutes Essen, sehr guter Service und ein angenehmes Ambiente! wir waren zu viert und hatten 4 unterschiedliche Vorspeisen und 4 unterschiedliche Hauptspeisen und jede war toll angerichtet und lecker. Die Portionen waren groß. Ich liebe vietnamesische Küche und diese hier ist ganz weit oben.

We were traveling with a group of 20 people as part of BAUMA and stopped at Zlatko's on Friday evening without making a reservation. We were all thrilled by the delicious food and the friendly service. The following Saturday we were there again. This time we called in advance and ordered roast pork for everyone that wasn't on the reduced BAUMA menu. Our wish was fulfilled and we had a great evening with a really good atmosphere until closing time. On behalf of the company Mechnig GmbH Rheinbreitbach We would like to thank you again very much for the great hours, the great service from Zlatko with the support of dad and last but not least to mom in the kitchen who cooked for us so well. Thank you again! We hope to see each other again at the next BAUMA at the latest.

I ate cheese spaetzle. There was too much cream in it for me and the fried onions were stuck together in a big ball. The service was okay. My friends had a currywurst, schnitzel and sausage salad. Unfortunately there was no highlight.

The Funkstüberl is disappointing. Yesterday shortly before 6 p.m.: We were looking forward to a delicious meal and a cozy atmosphere, but instead we found ourselves in front of a closed door. According to the window notice, it should open from 5 p.m. What's that supposed to mean?

After an unfortunate experience at the Augustiner bar, this place absolutely lives up to it's expectations! Very cozy pub with good beer and service, exactly what I would expect from Munich.

We were very satisfied here. The waiter was quick and very friendly, the food was good and large and there was even unlimited cranberries. The schnapps (4cl) was a bit hard for us, so you could use something that doesn't take your shoes off. Bottom line: 5 stars

We had two sausage plates and a schnitzel. All dishes were swimming in fat/oil. The schnitzel was very dry. I wouldn't eat here again. The beer was ok and the service was friendly.

We loved everything! The service was very good, we did not know the local dishes well and they helped us with a description of them, as well as a recommendation on how to eat them! Very rich and forceful. The place itself is very entertaining, good atmosphere. We stayed chatting with the owner and he even gave us a small courtesy gift! Highly recommended! 10/10

As laid-back travelers, we are very open to food experiences, but the food at this place was the biggest disappointment in our entire trip through Europe! I ordered schnitzel and potato salad. Instead, I got watery cold potatoes with chunks of onions and some timid cucumber pieces, and the schnitzel was the greasiest ever! My husband had a grilled mix that was detestable! He simply couldn't finish his meal. For the sake of each Munich's visitors' enjoyable experience, I advise you to avoid this place by all means! The place was also very dirty and smelly - the cushions of the seats looks and smells to be the same since the 1800s (no joke). Well, 60€ thrown through the window.... Kudos to the waiter who was a nice and polite fellow.

Really great Bavarian food - big portions

Good alternative to the neighboring turbulent Augustinerbräu, it was quieter and the cheese spaetzle was good. Networks service. Only the cleanliness of the toilet facility could be optimized a bit 😀

So if there's one place you shouldn't go to in Munich, then this is it. Super unfriendly, food ok. But you should avoid unfriendly treatment from the staff. There are so many beautiful ones Alternatives!

Very friendly and helpful waiter. Nice atmosphere, good vibes. The cevapcici made by the mother were very tasty. The Spaten beer tastes really tasty and tasty. I felt so comfortable that I went there again the next day.

After visiting Circus Krone we were looking for a nice little restaurant. Since we had 2 children (7.5) with us, we decided on a home-style kitchen. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, which surprised us afterwards. The service, food, portion size and price were excellent. Since we couldn't eat everything due to its size, we had the rest packed up. We can recommend the Funkstadel.

Place is really good and really friendly service

I fell on the tramway right in front of the restaurant. After I had hit my entire face and wanted to sit down for a moment to wait for the ambulance, the only answer I got from the waiter was "All right, but don't mess up my table because you're bleeding." Frankly, I find that to be a real impudence.

The Funkstadl near the main train station and central bus station is not only centrally located, but also has a typically Bavarian interior. Today it was surprisingly empty and there were only a few guests, so the order was completed quite quickly. Otherwise, depending on the crowds, it can take a while, but that shouldn't be a problem. The beer was cold and tasty as always and the schnitzel with fries we ordered was large, wide and juicy. And if you think that there was only one schnitzel on the plate, I'll say right now, no, you're wrong, unfortunately, there were two. Conclusion: At the Funkstadl it was tasty, it was cozy and for 1 beer, 2 schnitzels with fries for around 25 euros in downtown Munich, a reasonable price. Nice little place. The food was generally very good, unfortunately our bread was moldy. We got a fresh one straight away but unfortunately nothing came apart from the excuse “just bought it today”. Since the service staff was alone, the food took a long time.

Very nice little restaurant in Munich. Small menu but super tasty and good quality. Price performance is perfect here. We had a company dinner with 5 people, different dishes but everything to the point and at the table almost at the same time. Service was friendly, courteous and left a good impression.

If you have to wait for the long-distance bus for a bit (in particular in winter and evening) it's the perfect spot to hangout, have a last Bavarian beer and some local food. Worth the visit for sure.
