Friendly atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Price/performance top. The menu has a good selection of dishes, including Greek.

Unfortunately we didn't eat anything, but what we saw from the other guests looked really tasty. The beer garden is very nice and you can really unwind there. What we liked is that the music plays slightly in the background and so we were able to have a good conversation without shouting at each other. We would love to come back and definitely be hungry.

We ate here with our toddler two weeks ago and will certainly never come back and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone with children. We looked for a changing room and were then directed to the women's toilets. For various reasons, we (mom and dad) change our child together. That's why we both entered the women's toilet, which consists of an anteroom with a changing table and sink and the toilet room. Two young women smiled at us and were about to go to the sink: At that moment the (presumably) boss entered the toilet to throw us out in a disrespectful and brazen manner! First, my husband was asked to leave the area. When we stated that we had to change diapers together, this woman very unpleasantly chauffeured us out and directed us to a bench in a storage area. We have never been treated like this in a restaurant! My husband and I both felt like “criminals.” Our suggestion that we can change diapers when the ladies - who were just as surprised by this situation - are gone and we are alone was also vehemently prevented. We ended up having to change our child on the floor, even though there is an intact changing area. A restaurant that has not arrived in the 21st century and wants to implement backward "habits" to the detriment of modern families with children is not worth a visit. Even single fathers or LGBTQIA+ families will not feel welcome here - especially when changing diapers! There are plenty of alternatives!

So I've wanted to order something to pick up three times now and each time the answering machine goes straight to it for hours. Unfortunately I can't rate the food

Restaurant located right on the river. Ideal for refreshments on a canoe tour. In my opinion, the quality in relation to the price has decreased over the last few years or is no longer consistent. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with the last visit.

Very nice service staff, delicious food, there were 5 of us there and everyone was happy and we liked our table and the ambience. I can only recommend it, price performance at the upper limit but still okay ;)

Restaurant located directly on the Lahn with excellent Greek food. Gyros, souvlaki or bifteki were of very good meat quality. All the dishes were very well seasoned and extremely tasty - it couldn't be better. At the end there was an ouzo or espresso on the house. The service was attentive and very friendly. I can highly recommend the restaurant. There are not too many parking spaces directly at the restaurant. But only about 300m you will find a large, free parking lot.

The beer garden area is large, the atmosphere is very nice, the service is friendly (despite not having a reservation and being almost full in the evening at 6 p.m. there was a table in a quieter corner for 3 people with a dog) An extensive menu, the quality of the food is very good, the quality standard of the food has been maintained so high for years (we have known the restaurant for over 15 years with the same owners, but have not been there in the last 1.5 years) The portions have become a little smaller (a little too little for hungry men) Price increased for this. We ate 1x grill plate (€22.50), 1x Atho plate (€20.50), 1x Greek spinach and feta pizza (€10.50) All dishes were fresh and tasted very good.

Everything was great, food and service

The food was delicious and the service was good. I don't think it's nice that you get the card placed on the table even though you're not yet sitting in your seat... and you're also asked for a drink straight away, even though you're not sitting down. It would be nice to arrive briefly! That's why I'm deducting a star!!

We were there for the first time .... basically it was OK ..3.5 stars ..... food was OK in terms of taste .... I missed the Greek spice in the grill plate except for the gyros which was good, tzatziki good, Salad wasn't good...lamb chops tasted good but way too thin or little for the money, coleslaw was good...service was OK, some of them were allowed to grin sometimes...we would still go there again...

Standing at the campsite next door, this was really delicious food! We got a call when it was ready and ate it at our campsite. Delicious! And definitely worth every euro! Nice portions and tasty meat 👍 pizza was also great.

The food was delicious, but there was no flexibility when it came to putting together a starter plate. If there were 6 people, they would have done something. Then it took an incredibly long time until the order was even taken. We were a bit uncoordinated because tables that arrived after us were served earlier. So the service can still be worked on.

Compared to similar Greek restaurants in the area, simply unbeatable quality, prices are totally reasonable. Very friendly staff! It's a shame we don't live close by, otherwise we would eat there a lot more often :)

Surprisingly good cuisine, fast and very friendly service. Due to the location at the campsite and the somewhat outdated, somewhat simpler building, we don't have any particular expectations at first, but since the fishing hut was highly praised by very valued friends, we were very excited. My fish dish (St. Peter) was very tasty, but the bifteki was even better, as it tasted much better to me than in the well-known restaurants in Giessen. The different salads weren't very visually striking, but they tasted excellent and were very well seasoned. Personally, I didn't have the opportunity to order vegetables with the fish, but that's probably my personal preference and not always offered in Greek restaurants. Definitely highly recommended, reservation makes sense.

We got there and everything was full...the waiter was very nice and we got a place in the lounge with the view of something to drink and a place at a table in about 15 minutes. Very nice atmosphere. We chose our drinks and looked at what we might want to eat. A nice gentleman came with the drinks delivery and offered us his table because they were finished eating and just wanted something to drink. So we changed places, got our food shortly afterwards and were completely satisfied. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Beautifully located directly on the Lahn, the restaurant offers seating inside and outside. The service is very friendly, the food tastes very good. There were 7 of us eating out and all of our food was on the table within just under 20 minutes. Price/performance ratio fits. The portions are also really sufficient.

We are on holiday in Wetzlar for a few days, very close to the Fischerhütte. We ate there yesterday and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, helpful, nice and funny. We had a lot of fun with the delicious food. Dear ones, keep it up and don't let the complainers bother you. My husband and I cannot understand the bad reviews. Maybe these people should just think before they say such nonsense, which could potentially be damaging to their business. If something is actually wrong with your food, it can happen to anyone, even the best amateur chef, but it's not intentional. Then you can complain nicely and find a solution together. Guys, just don't take yourself so seriously and be happy when you can enjoy such a great meal in a lovingly run restaurant. Otherwise, just stay at home. Conclusion: We will be here until Friday and will happily come back to eat there for the rest of the days.

Sufficient parking in front of the house, barrier-free access, high chair is available, beer garden could be a little better maintained, very nice staff, good selection of food, dishes are tasty and the plates are full, price-performance ratio is okay, I will happily go there again come in!

Everything is just right here! We were there with our children and grandchildren and were served so personably. The waiter delighted us all. The food was great and the seating was so comfortable. Children are also welcome and have a small play area. We have been there several times and will always be happy to come back! Thank you for loving what you do!

Rarely have I eaten such unappetizing food. When you pick it up you don't have the opportunity to react straight away, I wanted a portion of meat and a portion of fries and paid 19 for it!! Euro 🤦, at home I see that a whole menu has been packed. The meat was e.g. T. burned, my son only managed to eat half of the fries :( While waiting, I wasn't offered a seat or a drink, but rather made to feel like I was disrupting the routine. Not recommendable!

This restaurant is definitely not recommended if guests are not welcome. As a gay couple who have been guests for a long time, we can no longer get tables reserved. The way the manager of the restaurant treated us definitely left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately it is not possible to give zero stars otherwise I would have considered this. You get the impression that this restaurant is no longer LGBTQA+ friendly.

Saturday lunch at the Greek restaurant. The restaurant was well attended. Nevertheless, the service was quick and friendly, the drinks came promptly, and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. The coleslaw tasted very good, and the gyros and meat skewers with rice were also very tasty. The only point of criticism: the portion was too large for me, I couldn't finish the plate even with the best will in the world. But it's better than leaving hungry... We'll be happy to come back.

We dropped by spontaneously on a Sunday evening, were warmly greeted and served immediately. The drinks were ready in no time and the food was also served quickly. It was a relaxed evening in a cozy atmosphere with attentive and friendly service staff. The food was hot, the plates were selected and the dishes were delicious. We'd love to come back.

Es gibt keinen besseren Griechen in unsere Nähe! Wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so gut und bekömmlich gegessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Abends sollte man besser vorreservieren.

Leckeres Essen und guter Service

Leider wurden meine Erwartungen nicht erfüllt, das fing schon beim Restaurantnamen an. Eine Fischerhütte ist hier nicht Programm, sondern ein griechisches Restaurant. Na gut, dachte ich mir, dann halt Gyros, Tzatziki, Krautsalat und Pommes. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen ziemlich schnell, trotzdem wirkte der Service unprofessionell. Die Kerze auf dem Tisch hab ich mir selbst angezündet, der Nachbartisch tauschte seine Kerze mit einem anderen Tisch. Die Kellner waren unaufmerksam, einer ass erstmal zwei Tische selbst etwas, anstatt nach einem weiteren Getränk zu fragen. Die Pommes waren ungesalzen, einen Salzstreuer musste ich mir selbst an der Bar holen, Der Salzstreuer ging im übrigen dann von Tisch zu Tisch, weil andere Gäste auch Salz an den Pommes vermissten. Das Gyros war teilweise lappig, der Krautsalat fade mit sehr wenig Geschmack. Zwei Sterne vergebe ich für das Essen nur, weil der Tzatziki richtig Klasse war. Das Ambiente ist in die Jahre gekommen und der Lautsprecher an der Decke passt überhaupt nicht zur übrigen Inneneinrichtung. Außerdem ist es sehr laut, wenn alle Tische besetzt sind, eine Unterhaltung ist nur schwer möglich. Fazit: Hier kann man essen, muss es aber nicht. Ich komme nicht wieder.

Wer in der Fischerhütte vor allem Fischgerichte erwartet wird zum ersten Mal enttäuscht, ein griechisches Restaurant macht die Aufwartung. Eine weitere Enttäuschung ist der unprofessionelle Service, ob nun der langen Wartezeit selbst bei wenigen Gästen vor Ort, kein wiederholtes an den Tisch kommen, ob man noch weitere Wünsche hat (irgendwann ist das erste Getränk alle oder man möchte noch nachbestellen wie Dessert), das Salz für die ungesalzten Pommes hab ich mir dann am Tresen geholt und wurde auch an andere wartenden Gäste weitergegeben, die Tischkerze durfte ich selber anzünden, der Nachbar nahm sich eine von einem unbesetzt Tisch...die Enttäuschung setzte sich beim Salat fort, meine Bifteki waren aber gut und der Tsatsiki sogar mega gut. Das Ambiente wirkt dann für einen Griechen sehr spröde und vom Vorgänger übernommen. Von einem weiteren Besuch werde ich Abstand nehmen.
