Very nice restaurant Ate well Friendly staff

It's a shame - I came specifically on recommendation and found myself in front of closed doors. I wish everyone their vacation, but a short note on your homepage would be really customer-friendly.

Super nice staff. Food was plentiful and very tasty.

The food is very solid and the service is professional. The meat was well prepared. We were here on Friday evening and took a little time with us, which was necessary. Unfortunately, no one paid attention to us for quite a while at the beginning, so we just sat down without waiting to be brought to the table. When the map was brought to us about 10 minutes later, we were sort of reprimanded and not welcomed. That was very, very strange, but I blame it on all the hustle and bustle. Nevertheless: If you want to be brought to the place, it has to take place at all. The food itself was amazing.

We were spontaneous visitors when we were in the old town. At the end of the day around 8 p.m. we wanted to sit briefly and have a drink. Is not possible here. Only for guests who are also eating.

Today, June 21, 2024, first visit. Not exactly cheap. But the quality of the food makes up for it. Non-alcoholic wheat, white wine and water nice and cold, Greek mocha was delicious, as was the ouzo with water and ice. Service and boss very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Clear recommendation.

Recommended. Here we ate a gyros pita and gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce. The meat was tender and barely gristly - but the Metaxa sauce could be improved. In terms of drinks, there is room for improvement here - the wheat beer, for example, was not poured well. The service is nice and on the ball - everything inside is a bit tight and you sit very close to other tables. Totally within the price range. In summary, the shop is worth a visit - but there are better quality Greeks.

Nice place. Food okay but nothing more. Olives arrived 20 minutes after the aperitif. Then waited another hour for the main course. For a standard Greek plate. Regular guests are given preferential treatment here. The rest obviously assumes that they only come once anyway. Thinking right. When we are in Wetzlar again, this restaurant will be avoided.

There is a large selection of delicious Greek dishes of the best quality. The prices are ok and the service is very nice. Outside, on the beautiful Schillerplatz, there are also many places under parasols. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is usually busy.

The food is really delicious, but - and I'm not alone - the portions are unfortunately too small. Given the prices, you would also like to be full. I think everyone has this wish when they go out to eat.

Delicious. Had a mixed plate of 'Larissa'. There is something for every taste. The tzatziki is a dream. The rice was also great. Prices are currently only for the upper budget, guests with smaller wallets are not welcome. Well, since Corona, it seems to be common practice that people want to write more things and things, but when guests don't show up, people complain.

Food and location great. Except for one person who was very friendly, the service was very superficial. The owner only sees her regular guests, so she doesn't get any new ones. The two of us spent over a hundred euros, and the typical ouzo afterwards is only available here for a fee. Conclusion: Good food at high prices, aloof staff and an conceited owner.

Ate a very tasty grilled plate (Larissa) with coleslaw. The service was also extremely friendly and accommodating! Tuesday evening and the restaurant was filled to capacity. That alone speaks for the good cuisine...

We ordered food to pick up, so I can't say much about the ambience except that it looked relatively small, but cozy and modern. The food was great, but for the price the portions could have been larger. The tzatziki was awesome.

We ate at Platia. The food was delicious. We would like it if the plates were preheated. The food stays warm longer, especially if you sit outside. I thought it was good that the waitress pointed out to me that there was a salad with the main course before I wanted to order a side salad. Thank you for that. We will be back.

Good average. After ordering we were told that it would take longer, about 3/4 hour. I don't think it would have been possible to unsubscribe at this point. In fact, it was more than an hour with the terrace full and the dining room half full. Since there was no drink or greeting from the kitchen, we did our shopping in the nearby Edeka. The food was good. The portions are rather small. Even if you choose the most expensive dish on the menu, an espresso instead of the obligatory ouzos is not included. Weak.

Rooms quite cramped, especially upstairs. Ambience quite nice. The staff was only superficially friendly but nothing more. Waiting time is far too long... We could have saved money on pita bread for €6.50. The coleslaw and the tzatziki didn't taste homemade. Was our first and last visit.

Excellent Greek restaurant in a beautiful half-timbered house in the old town of Wetzlar. We felt completely comfortable. Beautiful ambience, friendly attentive staff and excellent food at fair prices. Everything was just great and worth a full 5 stars. For me the best Greek restaurant far and wide. We recommend.

Very courteous service and despite not having a reservation we got a nice seat at the window, but that was more because we were there so early. The specialty platter tastes very tasty and is large enough.

Great restaurant! I ate surf & turf and rarely had such tender lamb. The calamari was full of grilled flavors, the lemon potatoes were excellent. The service was also super friendly and accommodating! From now on my favorite Greek ;)

Absolut zu empfehlen - wir waren heute mit 5 Personen vor Ort - 2 Vorspeisen Platten - wir teilten uns eine Grillplatte für 4 Personen - Vorspeise super lecker und die Platte für 4 Personen ( alle Fleischsorten super zart und toll gewürzt) war ausreichend für uns 5 Bedienungen sehr sehr freundlich und aufmerksam - Chefin und Seniorchef absolute Aushängeschilder dieses tollen lokales - probiert es selber aus - absolut zu empfehlen und wir kommen bestimmt wieder - Saludo y nos vemos pronto Francisco M.

Das Essen war wie immer vorzüglich und ausreichend. Wir haben noch ein Plätzchen für uns 2 bekommen ohne vorher bestellt zu haben. Ein überaus freundliches Team hat uns sehr zügig und rasch bedient.

Haben super lecker gegessen. Wir waren zu dritt, jede hatte ein anderes Gericht, kam alles zusammen, ist ja leider auch nicht mehr selbstverständlich. Freundliche Bedienung, alles bestens.

Wie immer am Samstagabend ohne Reservierung und nur 2h Zeitslot, nix zu bekommen. Das sagt doch alles über die Beliebtheit des Griechen am Schillerplatz.

Wir waren am 03.11.2023 als Gruppe von 6 Personen Vorort und hatten hier einen sehr netten und lustigen Abend. Ein paar Abzüge bezüglich des Essen gibt es leider dennoch. Ich hatte den Teller Larissa, ansich lecker, ich fragte mich nur was dieses wabbelige Stück Fleisch war, es sollte das kleine Bifteki sein. OK, das war komplett verfehlt. Zweiter Abzug beim Grieschichen Salat, hier waren wohl die Tomaten günstig denn dieser bestand zu 70% darauß, es zierte ihn 4 Chicorée Blätter, Das Bifteki hatte mein Sohn er war schwer enttäuscht 😔 und das Gyros was auf dem weiteren Larissa Teller war, war kalt. Somit nicht schmackhaft. Ansich kam keines der 6 Gerichte wirklich heiss oder sehr warm an den Tisch, was schade ist. Zum Abschluss Nachtisch und Espresso plus einen Ouzo aufs Haus. Alles im allen ok. Brauche ich aber kein zweites Mal. Vorallem wenn man eine Std Anfahrt hat.

Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend in diesem Restaurant. Wir hatten reserviert und haben einen schönen Platz bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Getränke kamen zügig und einwandfrei frisch. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Portion top. Qualität der Speisen war meiner Meinung nach auch einwandfrei. Die Preise sind dem Essen angemessen. Wie schon erwähnt war der Service auch super, kaum war das Getränk leer, wurde direkt nachgefragt. Wer spontan vorbei kommt muss Glück haben, was wir an dem Abend 2-3 mal gesehen hatten. Also fragen lohnt sich. Kann das Restaurant absolut empfehlen.

Habe den Klassiker Gyrosteller mit Pommes bestellt - zum Mitnehmen. Das Essen war lecker. Nur beim Bezahlen gab es von Seiten des Restaurants ein unüberwindbares Problem: 'Kartenzahlung erst ab 20 Euro'. Zum Glück hatte meine Begleitung Bargeld dabei. Aber für mich ist so eine kundenunfreundliche und arbiträre Regel im Jahr 2023 Grund genug, auf dem Weg nach Hause, nicht nochmal Essen dort zu holen.

Waren mit Freunden dort, drinnen essen, klein gemütlich, Service, freundlich, Essen war lecker preis war ok.. Muss man mal rein schauen und den Tag genießen.

Die Portion war leider für den Preis (Gyrosteller 16 Euro) sehr überschaubar. Eine Handvoll Gyros mit einer Handvoll Pommes etwas Zaziki und ein wenig Krautsalat.. Bin gerne bereit für gute Qualität gut zu bezahlen, aber das war leider für den Preis eine Kinderportion…

Top Restaurant. Vom Ambiente über das Essen bis hin zum Personal. Sehr freundlich, sauber und mega lecker. Portionen sind gut und toll angerichtet. Wir waren alle absolut begeistert. Sehr zu empfehlen

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Da fühlt man sich richtig wohl. Das Essen war ein Traum. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Auch das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam.

This is a lovely and hospitable restaurant with very tasty German and Mediterranean offerings. We ate with long-time friends on a warm evening in July, so we’re able to enjoy delicious food in the town square dotted with half-timbered buildings from the Middle Ages.. It was a memorable evening! The owner is Greek and she offers well-chosen international options. The wine list is carefully composed with good choices from everywhere except the US (That is OK with us). The crowd was a good-humored mix of both locals and visitors and we felt very welcome. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Wetzlar.

Waren im Außenbereich essen. Sehr zuvorkommende freundliche Bedienung-man wurde wie ein Stammkunde begrüßt und behandelt. Sehr leckeres Gyros mit sehr guten Tzatziki. Zur Rechnung gab es noch einen Ouzo auf das Haus. Kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Trotzdem wir nicht reserviert hatten, bekamen wir draußen noch einen Tisch. Das Essen war super lecker. Die Bedienung war gut gelaunt, obwohl sie ein "volles Haus" hatten. Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr unfreundlich! Wollten heute ins Platia mit Hund essen gehen. Direkt an Eingang hat man uns darauf verwiesen, dass der Hund nicht willkommen ist und wir Ihn doch gerne draußen lassen dürfen. Wenn man eine offene Küche hätte und der Hund dort aus hygienischen Gründen nicht mit rein darf, würden wir dieses noch verstehen. Die Art des Abweisens war schon sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und eines so gut bewerteten Lokals nicht würdig! Werden dort auch kein Lieferessen mehr bestellen.

Dank des schönen Wetters haben wir im Außenbereich Platz genommen und waren nur kurz im Lokal, das sehr schön und offensichtlich neu eingerichtet ist. Mein Mann hatte den Artemis Teller und ich Souvlaki und wir fanden beides sehr gut. Die Bedienung war außerordentlich freundlich.

Een beetje raar om een griek restaurant aan te doen in een Duitse stad op het markplein. Maar dat hebben we ons helemaal niet beklaagd. Het eten is hier zeer lekker. Neem nu bijvoorbeeld de Gyros. Dat dat waren zeer mooie reepjes echt vlees. Hun mixed schotels en hun mousaka waren ook voortreffelijk. Dit was een zeer goede ervaring en een zeer faire prijs.

Wir waren seit längerer Zeit mal wieder auswärts essen und haben uns diese Lokal ausgesucht Eine gute Wahl das Wetter war sehr schön und der Außenbereich eigentlich ausgebucht 🙈 Dich wir hatten mal wieder Glück 🍀 und die Chefin hatte uns noch 4 Minuten einen tollen Tisch organisiert 👏👏 Auch das Hygienekonzept ist hier vorbildlich und wird von den sehr aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern auch gelebt 👍 Wir haben uns wie immer sehr wohl gefühlt und das tolle Essen und dieser Atmosphäre und dem schönen Schillerplatz genossen Wir kommen gerne wieder

Die Entscheidung hier essen zu gehen war eine Gute. Freundliche Bewirtung, sehr gutes Essen. Vielleicht ein wenig teuer aber mir fehlt der Vergleich in Wetzlar. Kann es nur empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen super gegarten Oktopus als Vorspeise und Fleischgerichte zum Hauptgang. Das Fleisch war toll gegart innen noch rosé und sehr zart. Ein gelungener Abend mit tollem Service. Da wir noch fahren mussten baten wir um Ausschankwein. Die üblichen Sorten auf der Karte gefielen uns nicht aber der Service empfahl uns sofort einen Malagousia der ausgezeichnet war.

Wohlfühlen und genießen vom Ambiente über sehr guten Service bis zu der fantastischen griechischen Küche. Wir waren schon mehrfach mit der Familie hier essen und immer begeistert. Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Bei den Hauptgerichten vom Lamm, über Fisch bis zum Fleisch wird alles sehr schön angerichtet und ist sehr lecker. Mein Favorit sind die Lamm Speisen. Unserer Meinung mit das beste Restaurant in Wetzlar.

Wunderschöner Biergarten, familiäre Atmosphäre, Essen perfekt und sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. Was will man mehr!
