We stumbled upon this place by chance while passing through, and what can we say? It was absolutely delicious! Such good, fresh fish, some even from Lake Chiemsee, freshly hunted game, the finest Wiener Schnitzel, crisp vegetables, all beautifully presented 😊 Plus, such friendly and fun service! I can't understand the bad reviews here; it's definitely worth a visit! We were so enjoying ourselves that we even forgot to take pictures of the food 😱 But no matter, just go and try it for yourself 😉😋

For the price, the food was mediocre. You'd expect more flavor and appearance at this price point. What a shame!

Absolutely outstanding. Ate here by chance yesterday. It was so good that I came back today. And that almost never happens. Wonderful char, delicious baby calamari, top-notch wines, and delicious goat cheese!!! Bravo!!!

I was just there to buy fries for two kids. The quantity wasn't that impressive, but the price was worth it. To top it all off, I had to watch someone in the kitchen first put their own fingers away and then prepare the food for the others on their plates. The atmosphere is great. Unfortunately, it was a real shock for me. Everyone can judge for themselves. At least the kids like the fries.

We made a reservation in advance, and that was a good thing. A very busy restaurant with a large selection of regional specialties. I had the Chiemseerenke (roasted scallops), and my companion had the tagliarini. Beautifully presented and delicious. The waitress was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor, and she kept everything under control. Thank you for that.

We visited twice during our week-long vacation and enjoyed it both times. The super (child-)friendly service is particularly noteworthy.

This is our second time here. We booked in advance by phone and got a lovely spot on the garden terrace. We received friendly and quick service. We were very pleased with the starter, surf and turf. We were very pleased with the whitefish dish. A delight! Prices range from €25-30. The house lemonade is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Highly recommended; there's plenty of choice even for non-fish eaters. The kitchen works hard to prepare meals for guests; it's that fast. We visited twice and were served by different staff. Each time, the food was excellent and extremely pleasant.

The restaurant is located directly on the bike path around Lake Chiemsee and offers a beautiful view of the lake through the trees. The service is very friendly, sometimes a little over the top in a good way. We've eaten there twice now, in different years, and the food is very good and varied. The prices are, I'd say, typical for the area. We would eat there again anytime we're passing through.

While cycling around Lake Chiemsee, we stopped for lunch in the early afternoon. No problem. Very friendly, attentive service. All the ingredients in our dishes were freshly caught, excellently prepared, superbly seasoned, and deliciously presented! High praise! The restaurant is perfectly located between the lake's cycling and walking paths along the shore, 150 meters from the RV parking area. Very comfortable seating both inside and outside, with a delicious fish counter inside.

Simply stunningly beautiful. The food is good, and so is the service. Great fish dishes. The beer garden is top-notch. The restrooms are clean... nothing negative to say. Along with the Fischerstüberl in Attl, this is probably the best fish restaurant in the Rosenheim and Traunstein area.

Even the children's dishes were delicious. There's a children's playground and the seating is lovely near the lake. The value for money is excellent. We highly recommend it.

We ate wonderfully. The atmosphere was delightful. We ordered: a generous fish salad, a braised beef dish with breadcrumbs, and a fish dish with mixed vegetables and lemon cream, three glasses of Sauvignon Blanc, and three coffee affogatos. Everything was delicious. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and extremely kind.

Excellent food (e.g., the trout and char fillets were perfectly fried and delicious), friendly service, and fine wines and beers make the stay a pleasure. There's no lake view, but there is a lovely, cozy garden where you can also enjoy coffee and cake in the afternoon. As everywhere, the prices are significantly higher than they were a few years ago, but the overall experience is excellent. Thank you very much.

Fabulous food! The zander fresh from Lake Chiemsee was a dream 😍 The ambiance is lovely, and the waiters are very attentive, even when the crowds are high. The prices are commensurate, though. But if you want to treat yourself, it's worth a visit!

You should go there at least once but don't forget to make a reservation.

The food was very fresh, arrived hot, and we didn't have to wait long. You can sit outside. The lakeside promenade runs right past the restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation in advance.

It's very beautiful here, the water isn't far away, and the food tastes great. Plus, most of the dishes are gluten-free, which is a plus. The food tastes simply wonderful. You have to eat here once when you're there.

Four of us ate at the Fischerei Minholz restaurant and were absolutely thrilled. For starters, we had goat cheese and beef tartare with a fried quail egg. For main courses, we had the daily special: trout on risotto, fresh tagliatelle, a prawn platter, and bouillon baise. Everything was to die for, and the friendly service rounded it off perfectly. We highly recommend it and award it 5 stars.

Fantastic food, the fish is juicy and tender, the salads are a feast for the eyes and the palate, the fish soup is a poem, the garden with its many trees is pleasant to sit in in the summer, there is a short wait for the food, very attentive service, good value for money, completely new toilet facilities, we will definitely be back!!!

Simply fantastic. We stopped by for lunch during our bike ride. The finest fresh fish in a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor dining area is fantastic. I had a whitefish from Lake Chiemsee with vegetables. The lemon velouté that came with it was something I hadn't heard of, and we were delighted.

Restaurant Fischerei Minholz Came here for lunch on a Sunday morning. This is a beautiful restaurant with a compound offering both wonderful indoor and outdoor seating. The place is quite large and is beautifully renovated. Service was prompt and adequate. They were helpful where needed and was helpful when we needed them. What stood out the most was the food. The salad was amazing with fresh prawns, the thin crust pizzas were great and full of taste. Most of all the price was very reasonable at this lovely place.

We were originally passing through and were lucky to get a table on short notice on a rainy evening, just after a couple had finished eating. We had a truly fantastic meal. The tartar was truly delicious, so much so that we ordered it again two evenings later. Any kind of fish is also delicious, and the zabaglione was a dream (also had it again on the second evening). All the waiters and waitresses were very enthusiastic and attentive. Even with a packed beer garden, our food arrived really quickly. We'll definitely be back next time we're through!

We were returning from Austria and stopped by on a sunny weekend without a reservation. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and, after a quick search, assigned us a table. The food was very good, so after a very good meal and a walk along the lake, we continued on our way. We'll definitely be back, but then with a reservation.

Beautiful terrace on the banks of the Chiemsee. Excellent octopus salad and grilled fish from the lake. It's best to book in advance, otherwise there won't be any seats. Expect €60 per person for a starter and drinks.

Very fast and delicious food at a fair price. The service is very child-friendly, and even the little ones are well catered for. The mixed salad with three kinds of fish was plentiful and filling. The house lemonade is also highly recommended.

This morning, we ordered and paid for three herring fish sandwiches to go. We had to wait a few minutes for them, received the bag, but unfortunately didn't check the contents. At our picnic 30 minutes later, we discovered that there were only two sandwiches in the bag. What a shame.

Wow... on our way home from Croatia towards Cologne, we decided to make our first stop at Lake Chiemsee again this year and wanted to get some delicious smoked trout again. It was a Tuesday, the weather was perfect, the garden was open and we spontaneously sat down. From the very first moment, a warm welcome and a relaxed and fun atmosphere, perfect! A special thank you goes to the amazing waitress with the short dark hair and glasses 🥳 Top 🥳👍🏻The perfect recommendation of the fish curry as the dish of the day made my husband excited. I enjoyed a good Wiener Schnitzel with asparagus 😍 Of course, we also bought our smoked trout because they are super delicious 😋 We will definitely eat there more often on our way south! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon☺️😃 The food was so deliciously presented (and we were so hungry) that we unfortunately always ate something before taking the photos 🤷‍♀️😇 Dogs are allowed there (at least outside)!
