The food was good, and the freshly grilled dishes were excellent. For this reason, the food gets 4 stars. However, when you compare the selection with the competition in the area, you have to say that the selection deserves a maximum of 1 star, as the selection is truly very limited. This was our first visit, and we'll stick with our regular restaurant in the future. However, if you don't need a huge selection but enjoy good Mongolian grilled food, you should go here.

Today, after a long absence, we were back here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. Opening hours until 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, we were informed that the buffet would be dismantled at 9:45 p.m. Everything was fine. By the time we got to the table, it was suddenly 9:30 p.m., and in the end, most of the food was already packed into boxes by 9:20 p.m. The food was still only lukewarm and not particularly tasty at 9 p.m. I don't expect to have a full buffet by the end, but you can certainly expect hot food for €33 per person, including drinks. It's a shame; if I had dragged the money to Mecces, I would have gotten more out of it. And that's saying something.

Unfortunately, I can't fully understand the other reviews. We followed the mostly good to very good descriptions and explanations and deliberately chose this restaurant (4 people). First of all...the service is really very good. The staff is friendly, courteous, polite, and quick. The ambiance is reminiscent of many Asian restaurants from the early 2000s. However, and especially due to the enormous price charged per person, we were bitterly disappointed with the food. The buffet selection was very limited and limited compared to other comparable restaurants. Unfortunately, the dishes weren't refilled regularly, so some of the bowls were empty. Despite the restaurant being busy, some of the dishes in the still-filled bowls were dried out, which doesn't reflect consistent turnover or absolute freshness. As is well known, taste is subjective, and opinions differ. But here too, in my opinion, some of the dishes could have been more intensely seasoned. The roast duck, on the other hand, was good. I'd like to emphasize this point. Even though everything is getting more expensive across all industries, the price-performance ratio has to be right, and you can expect corresponding product quality for a corresponding price. My conclusion: There are other ways! Therefore, unfortunately, only 3/5.

We really like it here! The quality of the food is very good, and there's plenty of space, so the atmosphere and noise level are pleasant.

The service wasn't very friendly, no "hello" or "goodbye," and the food wasn't very warm and, in my opinion, quite greasy. There are better Chinese restaurants.

A good restaurant for many years.

They say, "The journey is the destination." In this case, the destination was a buffet that offers a culinary journey around the world, from Beijing to Papua New Guinea, on a single plate—multiple times over. I was at Fine Easten Palast in Wettenberg. Or, as I call it, the "all-you-can-eat wonderland for people with decision-making difficulties." From the outside, the place looks like an Asian spaceship that crash-landed right in the parking lot of Giessen. Inside: golden dragons, a fountain atmosphere, and the smell of roast duck that immediately sticks to your clothes like good memories—or grease. I pounced on the buffet like a panda on bamboo: Sushi? Check. Spring rolls? Double check. Fried balls in sauces that probably glow fluorescent when you turn off the lights? Triple check. And the best part: the Mongolian grill! I was allowed to load raw food onto a plate, which was then transformed with acrobatic pan-frying into something that roughly tasted like "wow" – or at least like adventure. Service? Let's put it this way: If you don't disturb anyone, you won't be disturbed. Drinks could be poured or tapped yourself – extended flat rate. Price-wise, the whole thing falls somewhere between "pretty good" and "I should have asked first." But hey – if you're looking for the price with an all-you-can-eat, you're still in control of your life. In conclusion: If you like international culinary understanding, mysterious sauces, and the comforting feeling of "I've definitely eaten too much," this is the place for you. If you're looking for Michelin-starred cuisine, you'd better head towards Andromeda. I'll be back – with sweatpants and a plan.

Went there with five colleagues for an all-you-can-eat meal. For €33 (€35 with tip), there was a huge selection of food, all very tasty and of good quality, plus two alcoholic drinks and a soft drink were included. Everything was very clean and hygienic, including the restrooms. Highly recommended.

This is THE place in our area for Asian food. Always good, always excellent. The location, however, is so-so. But that's beside the point.

The buffet was very varied with all kinds of specialties. The service was particularly friendly and attentive. The all-you-can-eat buffet, including drinks, for around €32 is very good value for money.

This is certainly a nice place for all people who like to eat meat. Unfortunately, the vegetarian selection is very limited, which means the price is not justified.

I love going to this restaurant, they offer delicious food and attractive prices, but the takeaway food has gotten worse, I don’t get rice at all anymore, only noodles, the last time they poured gravy into the bowl that I got all over it. Once I asked for chopsticks for sushi, they said for 1 set of euros, it seems inexpensive, but overall it’s redneck... The staff is not friendly

I expected something way better for 30€ a person. The selection was very limited and the employees seemed very irritated, but that might be a cultural difference. The building itself was beautiful, but the parking was a bit chaotic. Let's put it this way, for 30€ a person there should not be any frozen premade spring rolls. Also I ate a doughnut and had to spit it out immediately because it tasted very old.All in all I would say it's not worth the money or the time. Edit: I had to edit this review because apparently someone took what I wrote to heart and made a few changes. The customer service was more friendly and the food was far better than the last time I went. All in all it was a very pleasant experience this time around. I hope they keep up the good work!

Delicious food and the service was also very good

We've been eating there for almost 20 years, the food is always friendly and delicious, but what happened to us today was a disgrace on the part of the owner. We asked for a different table, which was no problem, but then the owner herself made a very unpleasant entrance. We were asked whether we wanted the table on the left or the right. We decided on the left table. The owner then said, "Wait a minute, we need to replace the chairs first." I asked why and she said they are 15-year-old oak chairs that can't hold my weight. I was shocked. We've eaten on those chairs so many times, and there were people sitting on the chairs opposite us who weighed a bit more. After so many years, that's an absolute no-go for me. Be careful if you weigh a bit more, something like that doesn't happen to you. The restaurant was full, and the other guests noticed, and I'm sure everyone can understand how you feel.

- Mongo buffet quite good, except the "chef" burns everything - "warm" Chinese buffet is reudig, lukewarm food with burnt ready-made sauces (How do you get that?!) - Fries and fried shrimp things are great - Ice cream and frozen cream puffs are also great (but only if the cream puffs are still frozen on the buffet) - I can't rate the salad buffet (no point in eating it there) - Service is catastrophic, unfriendly, lazy and sometimes attempts are made to charge incorrect prices at the end (example: it is rounded up from €32.90 to €33; I give away the 10 cents out of pity...) - The highlight were the people with the Galloschen - Conclusion: next time we will go to another Chinadaddy in Gießen (or Marburg)

The service and ambience were great, when eating the fried noodles unfortunately they didn't taste like anything and you had to wait in line for the fresh things that had to be fried. Unfortunately, you know it differently from the other restaurants number and it is brought to the table. The only thing that really bothered us was that dogs were allowed into the restaurant, which we personally found very unhygienic

We were there on Boxing Day, which of course made the whole thing a bit fuller and “louder”: but I don’t want to include that in the rating. The food is fresh and delicious. The quantities of each dish are also kept “small” at the buffet, which I think is good, and there was never a lack of anything. Personally, I was missing a little more salad. There was no lettuce or anything. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Nice atmosphere, the buffet offers a large selection of dishes that taste ok. For some time now you have been able to get a surveillance bag for around 4 euros via "To good to go". You get a large portion of various dishes from the lunch buffet.

The restaurant is getting a bit old. The welcome wasn't that nice either, the staff was otherwise on their toes. The food at the buffet looked good, but unfortunately some of it was quite cold and some of it tasted almost the same. Sorry, I was hoping for a little more for the price.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. The finished dishes from the buffet were lukewarm, not particularly varied, sometimes very oily and didn't taste good. The cook at the Mongolian grill burned our ingredients, so we discarded half of the ingredients on our plates charred. The staff is disinterested and obviously not interested. And all of this at a really proud price. Everything can be done much better, as similar restaurants near Giessen show. We won't come here anymore.

What should you write? My favorite Chinese

Food is very good for all-you-can-eat. As usual, there is a wide selection of different dishes. The waitress almost always manages to clear away the used plates before bringing a new portion. The food is also regularly replenished. The tables are clean, as is the ambience.

Classic buffet restaurant, large selection, perhaps overall a bit carelessly geared towards masses. The service wasn't that present, just clearing things up and putting them away. Sauces seemed very diluted. A little more sophistication and special things would make this more appealing. Different ice cream, more high-quality fruit, specialties and attentive drinks service with the right atmosphere... that would be really nice. Overall, recommended because price/performance is okay.

Absolutely recommended, the food at the buffet is very diverse, so everyone is sure to find something for themselves. The Mongolian grill is always a highlight for me personally; the combination of vegetables, meat and sauce I put together is exactly to my taste.

A really good Asian restaurant. The buffet food is really good and not mass-produced. There is something for everybody. From standard fried foods to kimchi and sushi or curry. The staff is always very polite and attentive. We usually eat here on Sundays, so for two people the tip is 70 euros, rounded up, including drinks... but it's worth it to us. Especially since you could stay here for two hours if you wanted to. So all in all really recommended :)

Nice Chinese restaurant with plenty of choices

Very friendly..very tasty and we liked the fact that you were seated separately from the buffet. So on the one hand you have the buffet but you don't have the people who go there constantly running over the table. This is very well solved. There are other Asian restaurants where there is a lot of clatter and drama that is not the case here.

Three adults and 2 children (a 9 year old a 12 year old) 125 euros + 9 euros drinks. Too expensive. It was my last visit

The food was good and the buffet selection was OK. I found the prices a bit high. But unfortunately this is currently the case everywhere in this industry.

It really wasn't good! The rice was dried out, as was the meat. Nothing was hot, some things weren't even warm anymore. We got there 30 minutes after opening and the food, especially the dessert and sushi, looked like it had been there for hours. The service was friendly but totally lackluster (eye contact or something similar). That was definitely our last visit!

Very large selection of Asian food. Everything you can imagine, including sushi and fresh Mongolian grill. With the latter you can put together your own dish and it will be freshly prepared. For dessert there are, among other things, 2 chocolate fountains (white and whole chocolate). The buffet for the children is calculated according to age, which is fair.

We've been wanting to try the buffet all along. Now it was finally time, the anticipation was huge! First of all, Mongolian grill is not for us, so it is not included in the rating! The food: Consistently lukewarm to cold! With luck, something was just being refilled and it was warm! Unfortunately the taste is average. Ambiance: From dirty carpet with a strange smell in the room to totally chic and new - unfortunately we sat with the carpet, but with an Asian flair (equipment and partitions in the room). Staff: Unfriendly! Unfortunately there is nothing more to say! Conclusion. Been there for the first and last time! Just not good enough for the price.

Always good and tasty, but always very well attended. Reservation is highly recommended. Food at the buffet is always good and everyone can find something for themselves, from sushi to Mongolian grill, everything is recommended. But, due to the high frequency, it has now matured into mass processing... the finishing touches are no longer achieved. The service is goal-oriented and used to be warmer and friendlier... we waited a long time for the drinks and it also took too long to clear away the used dishes... they piled up at the table. The ambience is nice in the actual Chinese restaurant, but in the others I find “dining rooms” uncomfortable and loud. That's just how it is when something is good... the word gets around, and the quantity makes the quality worse🤷‍♀️ Overall, a recommendation with room for improvement.

As always, it was delicious, but it seemed to me that the selection had become smaller. Unfortunately sweet potato fries were cold. Waiter was a bit cold.

It's been a long time since we've had an all-you-can-eat dinner. But that was the last time. The place looks really nice from the inside! When we got there there was really little going on, which was pleasant because of the noise. There was enough food too, so you can't complain! But I find the price to be vomiting, no matter where you can eat a buffet in the evening. Which family should be able to afford that? The worst thing was that you always felt like you were being watched, regardless of whether it was when you were eating or when you were eating. And the mood of the employees wasn't good either, you could certainly laugh/smile at times. If that doesn't bother you, you can of course go eat, there is good and delicious food!

I wanted to try the lunch menu, but was a little disappointed. Rather carelessly slapped onto the plate, I've had much better lunch menus in terms of taste. At least the crowd was right. Quantity instead of quality. Maybe I would have preferred the buffet instead. Well, I'm afraid I won't take that risk anymore.

The food is always consistently good. The buffet is filled up quickly. Even if there are a lot of guests, it is never terribly loud or unpleasant. I think it's a great idea that you can choose all-inclusive with drinks. We often and happily come to the restaurant.

Very good Chinese, although priced higher. If you choose a buffet, you can only stay seated for a limited time, but that's fine. The dishes are cleared quickly and any missing dishes are quickly replenished.
