Restaurant Enzian in Korbach

Very nice restaurant with a lovelessly overpriced menu. Unfortunately, we also experienced a very unfriendly waitress. There is clearly room for improvement here.

We celebrated our wedding reception with 30 guests at the Enzian restaurant in Korbach and I was overwhelmed by the experience! The service was simply wonderful - all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My wishes were taken into account in advance and a fantastic set of flowers, tablecloths and decorations were prepared. The rooms offered us complete privacy, which made the evening even more special. The food was a real highlight – absolutely delicious and highly praised by all guests. The drink orders were served quickly, within 3-5 minutes. The quality of the food, drinks and service was consistently first class, making this evening unforgettable. From 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. there was non-stop dancing, eating, drinking and laughter. The lighting, photos and music equipment created a fantastic atmosphere in which everyone felt comfortable. A huge thank you to the entire team at Restaurant Enzians for this wonderful evening. You not only met our expectations, but exceeded them and created an unforgettable setting for our celebration. Absolutely recommended!

Great ambience and ultra comfortably furnished. It felt like a living room. Food was extremely tasty and exactly as ordered. Surprisingly, the waiter recorded everything without any notes or devices. In general it was super nice, the atmosphere and the people.

This restaurant is indescribable 🙏, just beautiful, super cozy. Eating from cake to salad to burgers, let alone steak, is a dream 🫶. Eating is a feast for the palate. The service is fantastic, always friendly staff. The owners are always on site. Keep it up, I'm happy to be with you.

Stopped in quite spontaneously. Great restaurant! Fantastic service, food was excellent. We had a lovely evening. Our dog was received very well and was offered water straight away. We were very happy about our tip, you absolutely deserve it. We would love to come back.

The first impression of the great ambience was fantastic. Waiters were very friendly. Later in the evening we were even personally served by the boss. On the last day of september my wife and I with a befriended couple landed here in this great place in Korbach for a coffee and anything nice with it. Coffees and Apfelstrudel were delicious and well prepared and served. The service was very friendly (and it turned out they were Dutch as well). The bathroom facilities upstairs were very clean and modern and nice to visit. I can recommend this place to anyone visiting Korbach.

My husband and I ate there today with our baby. I had the delicious Chriszly skewer. It was simply incredibly delicious and I can only recommend it to everyone. Very nice staff and a great restaurant

Were there with friends. The food is fantastic, a great selection of dishes, everything tasted fantastic and even special requests were prepared with love and were first class. The service was great, I felt very comfortable there and the operating family are great and have a great sense of humor. You are looked after and just feel welcome. We ate there today, but unfortunately my husband's food was very bad. By grilled vegetables I mean crunchy and not mushy and oily. The fries were soggy. The swimming pool fries today were worlds better. When we brought this up, there wasn't even an apology. But otherwise the service was friendly and attentive. My food was ok so far. When I went to the toilet again, it was already over for me. The toilet itself was clean but there was visible dust and not just from today. We ate there last time

Big fat fries, the first layer was good, what was on the bottom was "and edible" that means half of it, yes that means conclusion for 30 € per person you have to imagine a little more.

The Enzian is really a great restaurant. Great and very tasty food, super friendly and courteous service and a very nice atmosphere. Overall, highly recommended. Went here with our 3 children and the schnitzels tasted delicious.

Good enough but certainly not as good as the reviews led you to believe. It is still best to eat a good schnitzel in a village at a local inn.

We were here last Wednesday. The food was very tasty. I had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce and my husband had pork loin. It was a decent portion. The seating was very nice and the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. You can tell there is a lot of love here, so you should be prepared to wait a little longer. The food is prepared fresh and that takes time. (Well, I was hungry too, so time stretches a bit!) But the drinks came very quickly! By the way, we also really liked the music selection; there were a lot of “oldies” there, which was pleasant! At our neighboring table there was a family with a child who has gluten intolerance. The chef came out of the kitchen to explain that he couldn't guarantee that the sauce was gluten-free because he had to prepare the food in a separate area, etc. I personally found that very thoughtful. He was very friendly and they seemed to have found a solution. If my husband and I visit his parents again, we will definitely come by again. I saw there is also a burger, I want to try it :)

We had lunch here. The menu is very appealing, there is something for everyone, and it was well presented and tasted good. I had a burger. The taste was very well balanced and the portion size was completely sufficient. The staff was nice and attentive. Gladly again! 👍

Highly recommended under new ownership 😉 Good place for a small or large snack or for coffee. There was a good selection of probably homemade cakes at a fair price. I can fully recommend the sandwich and the steak. I would say the ambience is one of the best in the area, you sit comfortably and, depending on where you sit, you have a great view over the pedestrian zone. The staff are all very friendly and quick. Overall: Much better than before.

Not family friendly. I'm surprised at the many good reviews. We had 3 main courses and a robber plate which was charged €1.50!!! There was no indication from the waitress nor was it shown on the menu. I can't recommend the burger either. Not good at all in taste. Red cabbage too sweet. Meat wasn't medium either. Neither when eating nor when clearing up were we asked whether it was tasty or whether everything was in order. Anyone who presents themselves in this way should also deliver corresponding quality. In addition, there is still room for improvement in terms of hospitality.

Very friendly staff. There is nothing negative to say about the price-performance ratio of the food. A lot of attention has been paid to decorating the place beautifully and the restaurant and toilets are clean. The company is easily accessible for wheelchair users. We had a very pleasant stay here.

We had a birthday party at Enzian yesterday. The pasta tossed in a melted parmesan loaf as an appetizer was great. Afterwards, most of the guests ate the great meat skewer. With your meal, country beer or Riesling from the 5-star Molitor winery (Mosel). Very nice and very attentive service. A very nice evening.

Everything perfect! We became aware of this by chance during our vacation. It was worth it. Very nice ambience, very friendly atmosphere, great emphasis is placed on tasteful details. And the food...! Simply delicious and appetizing, the presentation - top!! This was a thoroughly successful meal. Price-performance absolutely fine.

The plan was to have something delicious to eat at Enzian. Then we saw that the fries cost €6.50 and the burger said €20.. sorry no. We responded to this impudence by getting up and leaving without saying a word. Have fun for the others.

Rather limited menu, but the selection is more than sufficient and of excellent quality. Sanitary facilities super nicely decorated and clean. We have also noticed that children are very welcome. Highly recommended! Run by an enthusiastic Dutch family. Had a delicious dinner, and that homemade pastry (co-owner is a pastry chef) in the display case looked delicious, but there was really no room left for it.

Wir sind ganz höflich empfangen, haben super lecker gegessen und einen guten wein getrunken. Auch der Kaffee ist außergewöhnlich gut von kwalität. Wir haben vor, jetzt regelmäßig Der Enzian zu besuchen. Kurz herrlich entspannen und genießen. Uns ist aufgefallen das sowohl Jugendliche als ältere Gäste und Familien sich beim Enzian wohl fühlen. We wanted to eat at Enzian with three people and sat down at a table for four. However, we were expelled from the restaurant on the grounds that 3 people at a table of 4 is not possible and they don't have tables for 3 - by the way, there were several other free tables Let us have a look and pass on our impressions on site to friends and acquaintances.

Best service, great food and more than fair prices! The atmosphere is really nice, especially in the evening. I'm there almost every day 😅 Friendly nice conversations and definitely order a random dessert for dessert, but with the homemade orange sauce!

We recently dined here. The service was very good: quick, friendly, well informed. The food itself was very, very good. (Good quality, pleasant portion and nicely presented, low price). We asked for a portion with 4 cutlery for dessert and were surprised with a variety of desserts at a very(!) reasonable price. You should definitely try the orange sauce here! We had a small family celebration with 20 people. The food was simply fantastic, as was the service. The food was prepared individually and all wishes were fulfilled. The preparations and meeting went smoothly. It doesn't get any better.

My husband and I stopped by the "Enzian" for the first time today. We had the third attempt, but with a reservation. The other two times we were there spontaneously and unfortunately everything was fully booked. We wanted to celebrate my retirement and it had to be something special. I have to say, we were very satisfied and happy. Service, quality of food, ambience, background music, everything was perfect. The boss is very nice, personable and at eye level. The service was very attentive. I had a delicious, refreshing cocktail. Price/performance fits! I can only recommend this tasteful restaurant, in the middle of the pedestrian zone! If you are looking for something special with style, you have come to the right place. Absolute insider tip in Korbach!!

A really nice restaurant with an impressive ambience. The waitresses are very accommodating and polite. The food is very nicely prepared and also very tasty, as you can see. I can only recommend it to anyone who likes to eat out.

The ambience is very nice, the service is very attentive, even if they don't seem to know their own drinks menu that well. The prices have been raised and so for me the price and performance are no longer in proportion. The menu is manageable. The Kaiserschmarrn I ordered for €10 seems to be a finished product and tasted way too much like vanilla (flavor) to me.

I would like to share my recent experience in your restaurant, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. I was rather disappointed by my visit to your restaurant and I feel compelled to raise my concerns. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. I was not satisfied with both the taste and the preparation. The dishes did not appear to be freshly prepared and the presentation was not what I would have expected from a restaurant of this type. In addition, the service was less attentive and efficient. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, which had a negative impact on the overall experience. In my opinion, friendliness and professionalism are crucial elements in retaining guests. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also not inviting. The noise level was high and the general cleanliness left something to be desired. Unfortunately, this contributed to my visit not being as pleasant as I expected.
