Visit to the bowling alley with 7 people: The food was ok, but nothing more. However, two hours of waiting for this is completely unacceptable. Just like the service: it's not the guest who is king, but the waiter! Rude, cheeky, bold and outrageous are still flattered! Never again!

All I'm saying is that food beats everything. Mega tasty, plentiful and the meat is so juicy. For me it's one of the tastiest places 💖It's the old decor that makes it cozy.

Let's start with the positive first. The ambience is quite nice, the name of the restaurant goes well with the interior design. It's small and quaint. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing about our visit. First we had to look for a parking space in the side streets, as unfortunately there weren't enough in the immediate vicinity. Then it took an eternity for our order to be taken and then another half an eternity for our food to arrive. We were already close to leaving. The waiter had also ignored us several times or perhaps simply not noticed us. At some point the food came. The taste wasn't good even though they were simple dishes that you normally can't go wrong with. The fries weren't seasoned properly either. The worst thing about the whole thing was that the chicken wasn't cooked through. It was still completely pink on the inside. This shouldn't happen, especially not with poultry. When the waiter came and we told him about it, we were compensated. Hence the second star. That was nice, the food was actually a little better, but I won't eat there again.

The interior of the restaurant is no longer quite state of the art, but still cozy. There was a lunch menu and this included e.g. B. Liver with onions and mashed potatoes for under 13.00 euros including starter soup, small salad and a small piece of cake as dessert. All very tasty. I'll definitely go back.

What you expect from an oak… Balkan, a lot of wood and good Balkan food. We went bowling and eating with 7 people, service and food were good. A successful evening. Also fairly priced...

Very rustic restaurant with delicious Balkan cuisine. Very friendly staff, there is always a small greeting from the kitchen in advance, usually a small one. Soup (really delicious). The portions are always more than sufficient and the price-performance ratio is right. If the weather is right you can also sit outside. There are parking spaces in front of the house for those who, like us, are not lucky enough to live a 5-minute walk away 😉

Food good for everyone who likes Croatian cuisine. Reasonable prices. Major deficiencies in service. The restaurant has newly opened. Perhaps the service deficiencies can be remedied quickly.

Update: Nothing has changed with the new landlady either. Very nice good tasty dishes. The lunch menu includes soup, salad and dessert. Been there several times now and always very satisfied. Price, portions and service great. Will definitely eat there often

Were there with family for the first time today. We received a friendly welcome, which remained the same throughout the evening. First there was homemade bread with two kinds of dips, olives and pepperoni. Had different dishes, one as delicious as the other. We had 1x the farmer's schnitzel, 1x the hunter's schnitzel, 1x the hip steak special and 2x the grill plate for 2 people, which could possibly feed 3 of them. Portions optimal, prices are fair, unfortunately we didn't take any photos. Will definitely come back and recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have to say the rice on the plate was amazing.

It is a cozy, rustic restaurant with a very nice, competent owner who has brought the place back to life. I was very, very satisfied again, today I ate salmon fillet Florentina, simply great. Next Saturday I'll be there again with 4 other friends. Five people have already been booked for the first holiday. This restaurant is really highly recommended

Went there yesterday on the recommendation of friends. The food was great. We had a breadboard for 2 people and beforehand there was a small starter with bread from the house...olives...pepperoni + 2 sauces...it was very tasty. The service can be improved...it still needs to be worked on...the new tenants/owners haven't been there long...everyone deserves a second chance with us...we'll be back.

There is free parking in front of the door. The atmosphere is rather rustic. The menu is varied. Fish, pasta, steak...grilled plates...all very tasty 😋. The service was still a bit slow. Initial difficulties that will continue to improve.

Four of us went to the Eichenbalken restaurant and had a consistently positive experience. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made us feel welcome from the start. The price-performance ratio here is absolutely right - my salad was fresh and lovingly prepared, which underlines the care and quality of the kitchen. I'm a regular there and have never had any problems with the food there. However, there was a waitress working there for a while who still comes sporadically, who is not in the store. I have already told the staff about this several times, but unfortunately there is no one who wants to work, that is the problem

The food came after waiting over an hour for a group of seven people. One dish was completely missing and arrived about 10 minutes late. Another pasta dish that was supposed to be served with a "fruity tomato sauce" came without any tomato sauce at all. This was then added at our request. However, one could not speak of a fruity tomato sauce here. The "sauce" had a slightly orange color and was more like a mix of water and a splash of red. A mixture of water and fat had accumulated in the bottom of the plate, which looked very unappetizing. We returned the food and still had to pay for it at the end. The only thing the cook had to say was "ordered wrong, ordered wrong", which she shouted around the restaurant and then ran back into the kitchen in anger. We paid a round amount and only got the change back after asking for it. If I could give 0 stars for the service I would do it here.

While ordering drinks and bringing them to the table took some time, ordering the food (and the entire “experience” that comes with it) took a while. We ordered a senior plate, 2x tagliatelle with white wine sauce, a Wiener schnitzel, a farmer's schnitzel, a Balkan schnitzel and once the spaghetti Sorerentina (in a fruity tomato sauce). Only for the latter dish was the waiter asked whether the tomato sauce contained cream due to lactose intolerance. He wanted to ask about this in the kitchen and wrote “No. 28 - without S, but didn't give us any feedback. After about 45 minutes of waiting, a soup was brought to the table, which was not ordered, but was simply put down without comment. No consideration was given to vegetarians or possible allergies to fish and seafood. After about another 10 minutes the salad came for those who had ordered a schnitzel. The one salad that was ordered still found its way to the table (???). After a total of over an hour the main course was brought. The tagliatelle and the schnitzel came as ordered. The spaghetti was brought to the plate without “fruity tomato sauce”, but with plenty of water and oil. We then complained that it was the wrong dish and the plate was then taken back to the kitchen. With a flourish of “tomato sauce” (water with paint?) slapped onto the plate, the plate was then brought back to the table. Anyone who was paying attention noticed at this point that the senior plate was still missing. 10 minutes after we received our food, the seniors' plate finally arrived. Due to the still existing soup of water, oil and tomato nonsense, the inedible portion of spaghetti prepared in this way was returned. The waiter accepted this. Then a few moments later a very angry waitress came to the table with the returned plate and started shouting very loudly across the table that there was nothing wrong with the order and that we should eat it. When she finally took the plate with her, we had a moment of peace. When it came time to pay, the disaster continued. We should still pay for the returned food. However, the operators of the restaurant met with opposition from us. We were offered the opportunity to speak to the cook, but there can be no question of a normal, civilized conversation. We were literally shouted at and insulted that we had ordered the food incorrectly, that no one in the restaurant had made a mistake and that they had brought us what we ordered at the table. When we countered that we never wanted pasta without sauce, but that we asked for cream due to an intolerance, they just shouted that it was all our fault. Has the dish been taken off the bill? No. Of course not. I had to pay €108. We didn't split the bill, but one person paid €110. This money was pocketed, the cook disappeared into the kitchen and the waitress turned her back on us. When we asked, we grumbled “Oh yeah, I forgot” and then she slapped the €2 change onto the counter. Never again!

The food didn't come at the same time or as ordered. When we asked to return a meal because it didn't match the order, this was accepted in an unfriendly manner. When we didn't want to pay for the returned food, the cook became very loud and started screaming. Never again !

After we (group of 7 people) waited almost 90 minutes for our food, we were surprised that only 6 of the 7 dishes reached the table. One of these six dishes was also delivered incorrectly and served without tomato sauce. When I asked where it was, the waiter disappeared into the kitchen for 2 minutes and came back with THE SAME PLATE, on which water with a little red color was now found. You really couldn't call it "fruity tomato sauce" as listed on the menu. It looked like tap water with a drop of red food coloring. The rest of the plate was full of water and fat. This was of course sent back. For reasons I don't understand, it still appeared on the bill. When we asked, a very unfriendly cook came out of the kitchen and was firmly convinced that we had "ordered wrong" and that there was tomato sauce on the plate. An absolute disgrace! We only received change after repeated requests. Never again! Not recommendable. A look into the kitchen from outside the restaurant also didn't give the impression of a professional restaurant. On a side note, the fries were soggy. If you like good food and for whom friendly staff is important, you should look for another restaurant.

Unfortunately, the fries weren't cooked through yet and I was also a bit disappointed by the various, very small types of meat. The starter soup was delicious and the salad was OK. If the plate had satisfied me, the price would have been justified. Unfortunately not.

The food was extremely good, the service was very, very friendly. Unfortunately, there were long waiting times when ordering drinks, which was obviously because the lady was completely alone in service and also had to take care of the occupied bowling alleys. I was very sorry about that, we were all very understanding, but we still sat there with empty glasses for a really, really long time. Can happen. We would still eat here again and again because it simply tasted great.

Während der Coronazeit dort Speisen zum abholen geordert. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und die Wartezeit betrug nur wenige Minuten. Das Essen (Grillteller) war reichlich, frisch und lecker. EC Zahlungen sind kein Problem. Edit 12/22 Ohne Reservierung am 2. Weihnachtstag spontan zum Essen eingekehrt. Wir haben trotzdem einen Tisch bekommen und das Essen war -wie immer- gut. Edith 02/23 Wir haben die große Überraschungsplatte für zwei Personen bestellt und waren doch absolut enttäuscht. Die Portion entsprach absolut nicht absolut nicht unseren Erwartungen. Danach mussten wir uns noch eine Pizza holen. Nehme ich zwei einzelne Grillteller habe ich bedeutend mehr zum Essen auf dem Teller und bin zudem noch günstiger im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Beim Abräumen wurde von der Bedienung auch nicht gefragt ob es geschmeckt habe und ob wir zufrieden waren. Die Teller wurden einfach vom Tisch gerissen. Auch als die Bedienung auf die Winzportion angesprochen haben, zuckte diese nur mit den Schultern....

Sehr nettes Ambiente. Das Essen ist gut Bürgerlich der späten 80er Jahre. Ist halt alles convenience. Kann man mögen, wenn die Knödel aber noch im "Pfanni-Sack" sind, beim servieren, naja. Einmal reicht uns. Da ist bei dem Preis auch besseres drin. Der Blick in die Küche von außen (Kartoffelpüree GUT UND GÜNSTIG) entsprach dann auch unserer Erfahrung. Müsst Ihr selber wissen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort. Die Auswahl der Speisen war reichlich. Es gab eine leckere Tomatensuppe als Gruss aus der Küche. Das Filetsteak und das Pfeffersteak waren wie bestellt medium gebraten und sehr schmackhaft. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Was will man mehr ausser zum Abschluss die Rechnung.

Die Gaststätte ist rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen ist super, deutsch und Balkan. Die Preise sind noch gut. Die Kegelbahn, na ja... das andere überwiegt. Schaut euch einfach mal die Speisekarte an. Wem da nicht Appetit bekommt, dem ist nicht zu helfen.

Wir gehen jedes mal gerne dort hin. Freundlich und sehr gutes Essen, IMMER! Letzten Samstag besuchten wir den Eichenbalken! Meine Frau und ich bestellten mal wieder die Steakplatte für zwei Personen. Dabei stellten wir fest, das die Platte deutlich teurer geworden ist! Das war nicht das Problem! Die Qualität vom Fleisch war sehr enttäuschend, zwar saftig aber auch sehr zäh im Biss. Die Kellnerin war wie immer sehr freundlich! Wir werden dort aber nicht mehr essen gehen.

Tolle Auswahl an Speisen und unfassbar leckeres Essen! Die Bedienung war nett & zügig, die Portionen sehr groß. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden und nicht das letzte mal dort.

Wir gehen regelmäßig dort Essen. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist groß, die Portionen ebenfalls. Die Preise sind fair und der Service ist vorbildlich. Wir fühlen uns dort immer sehr wohl.

Waren im Eichenbalken essen und was soll man sagen ? 1 Std auf ein Minutenschnitzel von Aldi zu warten,bei völlig überforderter (und überreizter) Bedinung am Tisch.Und zu dem Preis ? Nicht weiterempfehlen.

Essen ganz ok Inneneinrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen .

Ich habe das falsche Essen bekommen. Um nicht noch länger zu warten habe ich es genommen. Der Nachbartisch hat zweimal getauscht weil die Beilagen falsch waren. Viermal um die Rechnung gebeten. Nicht noch einmal.

Schönes Rustikales Restaurant. Sehr gemütlich, Essen ist lecker und ausreichend. Service ist sehr gut. Nicht zu teuer und sehr zu empfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder hierhin.

Die Portionen sind gut, das Essen gutbürgerlich und schmackhaft. Für meinen Geschmack hätte die Spezi mehr Kohlensäure vertragen können, aber das ist auch Ansichtssache. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zügig. Das Ambiente ist durchaus gemütlich, aber etwas dunkel. Dennoch durchaus einen Besuch wert.

Wir haben dort super lecker gegessen.

Urig passt auf jeden Fall. Altbacken aber auch. Waren mit einer größeren Gruppe da und man war - trotz vorheriger Ankündigung, wer was essen möchte, zeitlich total überfordert. Essen war auf eine bestimmte Uhrzeit bestellt bzw. gesetzt worden und auch mehr als eine halbe Stunde danach hatten nicht annähernd alle ihr Essen. Vegetarisch ist keine Option hier - der Gemüseteller bestand aus TK Gemüse aufgetaut und mit einer Scheibe Käse überbacken - und das für 11,40€! Portionen waren - auch die Fleischgerichte - definitiv kleiner als bei anderen Balkan Restaurants gewöhnt und daher auch hier absoluter Abzug. Toiletten ok und recht freundlich zu Kindern. Kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Wie immer schöne Atmosphäre. Leckeres Essen,gut gezapftes Bier. Sehr nettes und professionelles Personal. Das Essen ist immer lecker. Preise sind angemessen und Portionen sind groß. Kann die schlechten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht verstehen. Es sind immer die gleichen, die was zu kritisieren haben. Ich werde weiterhin mit meiner Familie hier speisen und viele schöne Stunden verbringen. Ich hoffe das alles so bleibt,wie es ist. Denn es ist gut so....Macht weiter so Ihr seid Spitze..

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Allerdings denke ich sobald man mit einer größeren Gruppe kommt sind Sie etwas überfordert. Bestellungen wurden leider verwechselt. Auch bei der Getränkebestellung wurde einiges vergessen. Die Bedienung hatte leider Ihre festgesetzte Meinung. Wir waren schon in einer kleinen Gruppe dort, da war alles bestens gewesen.

Das Essen war leider unterdurchschnittlich. Mein Steak war zäh und nicht genießbar und die Beilagen haben auch nicht so gut geschmeckt.

Reserviert mit 25 Personen. Aufs Essen gewartet 2.30h. Dann das Fleisch total zäh und verbrannt. Das Gemüse nicht durch. Angeblich mit soß Hollondaise.. es wurde aber nur der Löffel abgestrichen am Gemüse. Hollondaise nachbestellt für 5,50 und es war eine mini Portion. Portion Kroketten heist bei denen 4 Kroketten. Sehr frech! Kellner genervt. Majo und Ketchup bestellt und keiner hat etwas davon bekommen. Getränke ohne Kohlensäure! Viele Bestellungen falsch, durcheinander und einer hat gar kein Essen bekommen. Bezahlen musste man oben wie bei mecces in der Schlange an der Kasse. Der Gestank vom Klo unten kam bis in den „Saal“ rein. Erste und letzte Besuch.

Also ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nach vollziehen. Wir waren jetzt zum 4.ten mal hier und hatten an keinem Gericht was auszusetzen. Im Gegenteil ob Schnitzel oder Grillgerichte es war alles hervorragend. Wir sind vom Preisleistungsverhältnis super begeistert und haben ein neues Stammlokal gefunden. Auch die Bedienungen sind immer nett und freundlich, sodass wir uns jedesmal wohlgefühlt haben.

In Coronazeiten alles sehr gut.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis Verhältnis unschlagbar gut. Das Essen ist in ordentlichen Größen, genau richtig. Ich war dort sehr zufrieden, grosse Auswahl für jeden etwas dabei. Ehrliche und gute Küche. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal und gemütlich, ich bin froh dass ich die Gaststätte entdeckt habe und werde noch öfters kommen.

Einfach nur lecker! Wir waren jetzt mehrfach dort und haben etliche Gerichte ausprobiert und wir können von keinem einzigen Gericht sagen, dass es nicht geschmeckt hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
