Restaurant Dolce Vita in Frechen

Very nice place, within a week that I was here for work I tried almost all the dishes and they were all very good. The restaurant staff is very friendly and engaging, they deserve the five stars 100%

Fish fillet was ordered for over 30 euros, fish that was full of bones was replaced with other fish, but another fish was vegetables only steamed, not seasoned, maybe nothing is a matter of taste, but ours absolutely wasn't. Price/performance ratio wasn't right for us at all

We had an excellent evening, the meal was excellent and preceded by a delicious appetizer. The lady who served us was very cheerful and attentive. 100% recommended, everything was perfect from start to finish👌....

It was a wonderful evening with friends. The restaurant, apparently lovingly run by a family, fulfilled all wishes. The super friendly service (everyone), the super delicious food (we had pizza and pasta), the nice summery atmosphere. Everything fit together perfectly. We say thank you for this great service that we don't see too often anymore. And the genuine happiness at work.

We ate here with a larger group (11 people). Everyone was very excited! The service was top and the food was very good. I can recommend various dishes such as the pasta with truffle or the salmon in pink pepper sauce! Beforehand there were olives with bread, herb butter and a slice of bruscetta - free of charge! Thank you for the lovely evening!

A true traditional Italian restaurant. Service was excellent, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and speak good English - ideal if you are passing through and do not have the best German - Everything was explained on the specials board. Food was tasty, very nice wine, and we left completely stuffed and made to feel very welcome. Would 100% recommend if you are in this part of Cologne and need somewhere nice for dinner.

Ich kann die positiven Rezensionen nicht komplett bestätigen. 1 Vorspeise, Schnecken: Die Schnecken in der Tomaten-Knoblauchsoße waren nur lauwarm, die Hauptspeisen: 1 x Kalbsleber ebenfalls nur lauwarm, das dazu gereichte Gemüse eher fast kalt, die bestellte Pizza frutti di mare hatte ich schon erheblich besser gegessen. Auch hier waren die Meeresfrüchte fast kalt und der Pizzaboden viel zu hell am Rand. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach nur Pech! Aber so schnell werden wir nicht mehr dort speisen. Im übrigen war der Zeitraum zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgericht erheblich zu lang. Positiv ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals zu bewerten. Wenn aber das Essen nicht stimmt......

A very well run restaurant. Well visited. It's better to reserve a place. The menu shows some special specialties. The service is very attentive. The wine is relatively expensive as there are 0.1 liters in the glass.

Since I live in the west of Cologne, I wanted to discover nearby Frechen and its restaurants. The Dolce Vita is inconspicuously located on a side street not far from the main street with the tram. Interior is a bit old-fashioned and colorful, the service is very attentive and top. The food is impressive, even if my salad unfortunately got too much dressing and was swimming in it. But quantity was great. Tomato soup delicious. I would prefer the pasta dishes next time. In addition to a general menu, there are daily specials. The price is moderate for Cologne conditions and the quality.

The food was delicious, the service was great and we were all very satisfied. The atmosphere is cozy, although the selection of dishes is a bit dark, so it's difficult to read the menu, but that wasn't a big deal :D We'll definitely come back!

Ate pizza there upon invitation. Probably the best choice. Qualitatively at a very high level and quantitatively more than sufficient. Ambience great. Service very pleasant and attentive, extremely recommended. Unfortunately I live 35 km away but even the distance is worth it!!!!!

Wir waren mittags in der Woche im Dolce Vita in Frechen, erster Besuch überhaupt. + lange Öffnungszeit mittags von 12 bis 15 Uhr, sehr gut für geschäftlichen Mittagstisch + Einrichtung mit Charme, etwas in die Jahre gekommen + Personal war sehr freundlich und auf Zack + Fettucine mit Trüffeln von der Tageskarte war lecker, der Trüffel allerdings vom Geschmack nicht top, bei 26€ für das Gericht Preis/Leistung eher sportlich + Espresso sowie Kaffee sehr gut, stark, wurde serviert mit einem bunten Teller an Zucker, Amaretti, kleinen Süßigkeiten, sehr gut. Fazit: werden wir nochmals besuchen!

Absolutely wonderful proper local Italian restaurant. They coped with our faltering German, were so kind & welcoming, especially to the children & served us all delicious Italian food.

We went for lunch (pizza) today, also because of the generally good reviews. We were honestly disappointed. Cuisine, service and ambience are average at best. The prices are then too high for that.

Yesterday we were invited to an 80th birthday party. As always, it was great. Not just our company with nice people but the whole atmosphere. A nice and cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere. Gerne treffen wir uns hier um einen schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen in freundlicher Atmosphäre zu verleben. Pizzabrötchen mit Kräuterbutter und Oliven als Starter gibt es hier noch als Serviceleistungen vorab, die Tageskarte bietet immer eine tolle Auswahl und jeder Nachtisch ist zu empfehlen, genau wie der Kaffee. Wir freuen uns schon immer sehr auf die Freundlichkeit im Dolce Vita und bleiben auch meist bis der Chef die Kasse schließt.

Wir kommen extra aus Köln, um hier die tolle italienische Atmosphäre und besondere Kulinarik zu erleben. Diesmal waren wir in Dolce Vita zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen. Ja, auch feiern kann man hier sehr gut 👍. Die Speisen waren wie immer hervorragend - vielen Dank an den Chefkoch 👨‍🍳. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wenn Sie auch auf die Idee kommen sollten hier lecker zu speisen, dann empfehle ich unbedingt den Tisch vorher reservieren zu lassen.

Siamo usciti dal lavoro e cercavamo un pasto veloce ci bastava anche un panino ma invece abbiamo trovato un ottimo ristorante, pizza molto buona e ben cotta, primi abbondanti e curati, servizio veloce.

Das Restaurant ist eine absolute Empfehlung! Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, sowas habe ich lange nicht mehr erlebt. Da können sich so manche Restaurants mal ein Beispiel dran nehmen. Die Qualität und vor allem die Größe der Portion ist ebenfalls fantastisch und das auch noch für einen wirklich guten Preis!

Schon beim reinkommen wird man so freundlich begrüßt und an den Tisch gebracht. Der Service ist einfach klasse ..freundlich, schnell immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Zu den Speisen..... Mega Mega Mega

Das Essen in dem gemütlichen kunstvoll eingerichteten Lokal ist einfach köstlich. Wir hatten eine butterzarte aromatische Leber, das Lammfilet und die schwarzen Ravioli mit Lachsfüllung in Safransosse und köstliche Mousse aut Chocolat. Jedes der Gerichte, von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch, war außergewöhnlich lecker, toll angerichtet und einfach nur perfekt. Die Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit, Flexibilität bei Sonderwünschen und Kompetenz der Mädchen vom Service, habe ich selten so gut erlebt. Ich konnte verschiedene Weine probieren und wir haben den perfekt passenden Wein gefunden. Der freundlicheChef schaut persönlich am Tisch vorbei und vergewissert sich, ob alles stimmt. Man hat das Gefühl, hier arbeitet ein langjähriges eingespieltes Team zusammen, das einem vermittelt, herzlich willkommen zu sein. Es ist die Summe all der außergewöhnlichen Kleinigkeiten, die dieses tolle Restaurant zum meinem Lieblingslokal machen.

The best meal I've had in a long time and great for the price. Just gutted we don't live in the area! The service is awesome, I would advise against ordering a starter as they supply you with rolls and olives that kinda thing and the portions are quite big. A fantastic atmosphere and meal. The homemade pannacota is the best I've ever tasted!

Just off the main street (the tram route) opposite the church is a typical Italian restaurant. Good food and wine. Friendly service with us communicating in a strange mixture of Italian, German and English. Certainly busy, but well able to cope. Be prepared for the 'strange' pictures/murals on the wall. They 'portray' three of the four seaons but we never found Summer.
