Eat in. An alcohol-free restaurant. No beer, no wine. They bring you the second course before you finish the first. And they half-place it on your hand while you eat. Carbonara, with cream and no Parmesan... A little less quantity, but more quality would be preferable. Disappointed++++ Italian restaurant, really? 🙄

A nice restaurant with fast service. The staff are friendly and attentive. The place is always busy. The atmosphere is nice. Our seat was nice, too. The food is very good and tasty. We tried pizza, salad, and some appetizers. I highly recommend this place.

It may look unassuming from the outside, but the restaurant has a nice little garden behind the house. The food was plentiful and everyone enjoyed it very much. I think the chef served us. He was a very friendly man. The prices are very good, and I also thought the drinks were fairly priced. We were passing through and chose this restaurant because of the good reviews on Google, which I can now confirm from my own experience.

I've ordered a few times, but when I came here, it was a completely different experience. I would recommend it to everyone!

Highly recommended! It was my first time at La Cucina Frechen – and definitely not the last! The stone-baked pizza was simply a dream – by far the tastiest I've ever eaten. The crust was perfectly crispy, the ingredients fresh, and the flavors perfectly balanced. Add to that a cozy atmosphere and friendly service that made the visit a complete pleasure. If you love pizza, you have to come here!

It was nice to see that the pizza was neatly sliced, making it easy to pick up with your hands. Furthermore, the dough wasn't too thin, but rather a pleasantly firm texture, so the toppings didn't slide off. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was also pleasant.

Pleasantly surprised by the pizza! Super delicious, no oily crust, and crusty dough! Unfortunately, people smoke on the terrace, and the door is constantly open, so the smoke drifts all the way to the tables at the entrance. Totally disgusting to me. So, one point deducted. Unfortunately, we also had to wait a bit longer to be served and pay, which could definitely be improved!

We had a wonderful and delicious last evening of our short break at La Cucina in Frechen. Super friendly service. Our very special request was fulfilled, and everyone loved their food (pizza, pasta, cheeseburger, fries)! We enjoyed our meal on the terrace surrounded by greenery and in a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything was absolutely top-notch. Both the pizza and pasta, as well as the rest of the menu, were truly delicious. The atmosphere in the shop was also super cozy and pleasant. The waiters and staff were all friendly and accommodating. I'd happily return!

The food is always delicious, but the delivery times are significantly too long. A 1.5 hour wait for two pizzas is, in my opinion, far too long, and unfortunately, it's not an isolated incident. This has to improve.

The environment and atmosphere are great. A quiet place to come with your family. The employees and the owner are very friendly and attentive... It's as if they are hosting guests, not customers. The food is more delicious and diverse than I expected. Italian cuisine has come to our doorstep. You go in thinking you'll eat pizza, but you don't get the chance to eat pizza because of all the variety of flavors 🙂. The most important thing is that you have halal sensitivity and you can eat meat safely. The interior decoration and the garden are extra beauties. Recommended 👍

Open kitchen during the afternoon, it's perfect

We only know La Cucina as a delivery service. Today, we took advantage of the beautiful weather to eat on the outdoor terrace. Everything is freshly prepared on site, and the pizza tastes even better than if it were delivered in a box. The service was very friendly. The value for money is completely satisfactory. An authentic Italian restaurant with a delivery service that doesn't feel overly pretentious.

After a long journey to Frechen on Sunday evening, we wanted something to eat and were looking forward to a beer. Unfortunately, we were really misled by the extremely good reviews here. At the best time on Sunday evening the restaurant was completely empty. Not a single other guest. In addition, the waiter told us that there was actually no beer or wine. Nothing, just soft drinks. And that for an Italian with 4.9 stars on average. Unfortunately, the pizza was also rather average, so the other reviews are completely incomprehensible to me.

I very rarely write reviews. However, I saw it as necessary here, given the completely misleading and disproportionately good reviews. Apart from the friendly owner, there is unfortunately little good to report. Starting with the drinks menu, which has nothing to offer except water, soda and non-alcoholic beer (not even wine at a supposedly Italian restaurant). The atmosphere wasn't really inviting either. What shocks me the most, however, are the excellent Google reviews for the food. The pizza doesn't live up to these reviews and is definitely not recommended in my opinion. The whole thing is also reflected in the fact that the shop was completely empty on Sunday evening at the best time. Unfortunately we won't be coming here again.

If you want to eat well and inexpensively this is the right solution

Before the concert, grab a quick bite to eat in the Stadtsaal, La Cucina is super close. Yes, there is no alcohol due to the lack of a concession, but...... we ate really delicious food. I've never been asked to order a pizza if I had a thin base or would I prefer something thicker, we all had a thin base and I can only say that it was really tasty, juicy, the pizza wasn't oily, great and there were rolls with herb butter on the house beforehand. Thank you, great food.

Ordered via the Lieferando app, the food didn't arrive. Unfortunately there was no response or apology from the delivery service. According to Lieferando, the money will not be refunded because the company has not agreed to this. Overall a very disappointing service. I cannot recommend this provider.

We were also able to easily park nearby at 5:30 PM. We were greeted kindly. Really had first-class Italian pizza Napolitana, with a delicious base, tasty olives, lots of anchovies ("sardines"). Also highly recommended is Fettucine Salmone. Not too expensive. Delicious oil and vinegar on the table. The restaurant is pleasantly lit and spacious. Beautiful courtyard, but people thought it was too cold to sit there. Highly recommended - especially for excellent Italian food. No music video or other musical wallpaper, but a beautiful photo of Venice at the bar.

We wanted to order dinner on Sunday through a delivery service. We had expected longer delivery times. The delivery time according to the app should be 60 minutes, after more than 90 minutes I called to ask where our food was. I was told that my order would be prepared right now and would be with me very quickly, i.e. about 30 minutes later. I then canceled the order. So my reviews don't rate the food, but rather the poor organization and the terribly wrong timings. Useless if you're hungry on a Sunday evening.

The quality has deteriorated significantly, I can't recommend eating there. The inferior tomato sauce tastes far too sweet and the price has been brazenly increased. The current dough mixture is a taste fiasco.

We were there alone on a Wednesday afternoon. We were given a very friendly welcome, the food arrived super quickly and was also very tasty. The staff was courteous and friendly, they even turned on a romantic light at the table for us :D Personally, I found it a bit annoying that there was a TV playing music videos the whole time, but that's probably a matter of taste.

We were very satisfied. The pasta was very good and the pizza was very tasty, with a thin base and crispy edges, and well topped. The best I've eaten in a long time. Like in Italy. The service was so kind and attentive. My 88-year-old mother and I shared a salad and a pizza, which the waitress responded to in a very friendly manner. We were the only guests that evening (five people) and were happy that the restaurant was open on a Monday. The ambience is simple, but makes you feel comfortable. I think this restaurant is highly recommended.

Pizza wasn't bad but rather standard. Price way too high. 12-14 euros for a pizza is tough. Price performance is zero. Drinks are way too expensive and you have to get them out of the fridge yourself, no glass and then €3.75? The terrace is great, but unfortunately the rest didn't convince me at all. Reviews incomprehensible.

Don't order there! Most reviews are fake and everything bad is removed, including my last one. I still have a photo of the "that's no fun" - a rotten burger that was delivered to me for €15 and had the same smell as my organic waste bin on the doorstep. If I had eaten that, I would definitely have to go to the hospital. The conditions in this restaurant must be catastrophic. For me that was the first and last order there.
