Restaurant Divan in Dortmund

Der mit Abstand beste Dönerteller den ich je hatte!!!!! Das Fleisch saftig und prall. Nicht son Haufen dünner Hackschnitzel so wie andere Restaurants. Der Salat ordentlich drapiert und vor allem frisch. Die Pommes dick und nicht diese mikrigen Fettstangen selbst die Mayonnaise und die Cocktail Soße vom Geschmack super. Dazu wird Brot gereicht ebenfalls frisch und kurz angetoste. Weltklasse ebenfalls die zweierlei Soßen. Der Service ehrlich freundlich. Man fühlt sich als Kunde ernstgenommen. Begrüßung und Verabschiedung sehr herzlich. Ich komme wieder das ist sicher!!!!

Wir waren heute spontan hier und haben uns zwei Lahmacun mit Getränken geholt. Positiv war, dass die Bestellung sehr schnell fertig war. Leider war ich vom Essen enttäuscht. Ich hatte meinen Lahmacun ausdrücklich ohne grünen Salat bestellt, aber mit allem anderen, also z. B. Tomaten, Gurken, Kräutern usw Bekommen habe ich am Ende jedoch fast ausschließlich Krautsalat. Gerade weil ich kein Dönerfleisch bestellt hatte, hätte ich erwartet, dass der Lahmacun mit dem vorhandenen Gemüse ordentlich gefüllt wird. Stattdessen war er sehr leer und geschmacklich enttäuschend. Außerdem war der Teig sehr hell gebacken und dadurch etwas teigig. Das wäre für mich noch kein großes Problem gewesen, aber zusammen mit der kaum vorhandenen Füllung war das Gesamterlebnis leider nicht überzeugend. Für knapp 20 € für zwei Lahmacun und zwei Getränke hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Schade für mich war das leider kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, deshalb werde ich nicht noch einmal dort essen.

Auf Empfehlung hier schon mehrfach spontan gegessen. Wirklich sehr schmackhaftes Essen. Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und Inhaber. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen....

Der Service war wirklich gut. Die Leute waren sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm. Rote Sofas, coole Tische. Die Atmosphäre war etwas langweilig, aber es war sehr sauber. Es roch auch gut. Ich habe 5 Euro Trinkgeld gegeben. Es hat sich gelohnt.

Essen war geschmacklich gut, aber die Menge die auf dem Dönerteller war, ist für 14,50€ eine Frechheit. Es gab keine Soßen dazu, die müsste man extra bestellen und bezahlen. Bis auf die Portionen und die Preise dafür, ist alles ok.

Das Essen ist gut und die Preise sind erschwinglich. Schauen Sie sich unbedingt die Angebote unter der Woche an. An jedem Wochentag gibt es spezielle Angebote in bestimmten Kategorien der Speisekarte. Das Ambiente ist in Ordnung. Pizza und Pasta waren super, der Döner hingegen eher durchschnittlich.

Die schlechteste Pizza aller Zeiten, das Personal ist nett.

1) Ich war vergiftet nachdem ich hier ein döner box hatte. 2) Es war Montag. Es steht drauf 7 € für ein döner. Es war aber ein Ferientag. Der Typ meinte ne kostet trotzdem 7,50€ weil Heute Ferientag ist. Ich wurde dabei angeschrien. WILLST DU HABEN ODER NICHT. So behandelt man Kunden nicht Lieber zu Uni-falafel. Der Typ da redet nett und ist günstiger und sauberer. Nie wieder.

Insbesondere der Kellner Mahsan, der Inbegriff von Höflichkeit und guten Manieren war.

Das Essen ist frisch und lecker, die Angestellten sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Richtig schöne Auszeit dort gehabt: Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Bedienung – war auch mit Kleinkind kein Problem! :-) Essen war wirklich prima. Das nette Extra ist kostenfreies Brot mit Dip während der (sehr kurzen) Wartezeit. Super Sitzgelegenheiten mit Platz und Hochstuhl.

Leckeres Essen und toller Service

Lange Wartezeit muss eine Ausnahme gewesen sein. Gutes Essen und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Und mehr als nur Döner. Summe: GUT

I've truly never experienced anything like this before. The man behind the counter was incredibly disrespectful, didn't even look at me, and seemed very grim throughout my entire visit. There wasn't a single friendly "Good day" or "Bye"—there was simply no proper customer service. Even though there was only one other customer and her order was already ready, I had to wait a full five minutes before my order was even taken. I would honestly prefer to give zero stars, but unfortunately, that's not an option. On top of that, the quality of the food was a complete disappointment: The pizza was a total letdown. All the toppings slid off while I was eating it and then fell off completely, making the pizza absolutely inedible. Sadly, I had to throw it away. The photo clearly shows its condition.

The veal doner kebab had very few pieces of meat in it, completely inadequate for the price. The doner kebab was generally half-empty, essentially just bread with a bit of salad inside. The XXL portion of fries was also much too small; it was a portion for a maximum of two people. I'm really disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I found the portion size of the kebab to be small, and there was too little sauce, which made it quite dry. Overall, in my opinion, it was a poor value for money.

I enjoyed my experience at Divan restaurant. I received very good service, the place was clean and smelled good. I ordered a salami pizza, and it was quite substantial. The waiter spoke English, which was very helpful given the international atmosphere surrounding the university. They also offer complimentary digestive tea, which was delicious. I recommend this place.

I've always enjoyed ordering here. The last time I ate there, I was charged an extra €1 for ketchup and mayo. The ketchup and mayo were served to me without asking! That's simply unprofessional and unprofessional. One customer down!

The service and atmosphere are fantastic! Everything is well-maintained and tidy! The food is excellent value for money, and, true to the grill, it simply tastes great! Go there, everyone!

The doner kebab plate is very good, and the divan pizza is also very tasty. The fries are good, a bit thicker, but still super crispy and seasoned. The staff and the manager are really friendly, and I've been coming back for years.

We ordered via Uber, and the kebabs were really small. Lots of cabbage, not much meat, and they forgot the sauce on 2 out of 3 kebabs, and that cost just under €8. I've been going to this place for 10 years, and this was my last time.

The kebab seems big because of the large bread bag, which is only slightly filled. The filling consists largely of the salad side dishes and the meat is present as a trace element. The taste is okay, but the price and performance are not in a good relationship.

I was always there before. Divan for delivery has redefined it! Sealed and therefore hot and tasty. Freshly baked bread. 10 out of 10

A cult restaurant I've known since the late 90s. Although I'm no longer a regular in Dortmund, I still stop by every now and then.

Established Turkish snack restaurant. Lots of seating with friendly and quick service. Fair prices and large portions. Everything delicious, everything fine. Gladly again

I also wanted to eat there to see what it tasted like. My kebab was so greasy that it all ran into my hands. And so he noticed only fat. Once and never again...

We ate there for the first time and were so shocked! There was a big hairy black dog running around behind the counter/kitchen. Well, I turned a blind eye until there was dog hair in my Lahmacun. The pizza (totally burnt at the bottom) had lint on it. The waiter also seemed very unfriendly to us. Thank you, not again.

The kebab ordered without onions was only prepared with extra onions due to the staff's apparently poor writing. Afterwards I realized that all I had in my kebab was coleslaw, meat, sauce and a single small slice of tomato. For 7€ an absolute disgrace.

The Divan restaurant in Dortmund is truly a first-class choice. Right from the start I was impressed by the friendliness and charm of the staff. The food was absolutely delicious - freshly prepared with homemade bread that tantalized the taste buds. The atmosphere in the divan is wonderfully cozy, which makes the visit a completely successful experience. Regardless of whether you dine there alone, with a companion or even with colleagues, it is definitely worth a visit. I can only warmly recommend the divan! Keep it up!

Currently there is a 30cm pizza of your choice on Wednesdays for €7.9. She's pretty good for that. The kebab is also quite good.

About ten years ago, while I was studying in Dortmund, I was a frequent guest at Divan. Now that I recently moved back to Dortmund, I decided to pay the restaurant another visit. Unfortunately, I have to say that the quality of Divan has noticeably deteriorated in recent years. The food is no longer of the same quality as it used to be, the rooms and furnishings are showing their age, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Having been there three times now, I have been disappointed each time. On one of my visits, I ordered a kebab pizza that was still raw in the middle and the meat was overly salty. Another time I was there with my family and we ordered kebab. Here too the meat was far too salty. My drink was served incorrectly. The third and final time, the experience was a total disaster. About the order: I ordered a kebab plate with fries and ketchup. Why were the fries partially placed on top of the salad and then covered with ketchup (which turned out to be more like curry ketchup)? The salad was completely covered in ketchup. I also found unordered mayo on the fries, which I still had to pay for. This time the meat wasn't too salty, but it was tough and didn't taste like anything, as if it hadn't been seasoned. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing visit and definitely my last at Divan.

Price/performance is not right... I'll never leave my money there again!

Update (Jan. 24): I tried it again and the kebab plate now costs 13.90 - proud! Still no recommendation from me. Several times I received a sauce for the kebab plate that was sour and spoiled. It can happen once but shouldn't happen multiple times. What is much worse is how you are “welcomed” there as a customer or how you are ignored. And how unfriendly you are met behind the counter. But that has already been written here several times. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend the kebab shop.

Ein sehr Restaurant Nähe uni. Hier kann man Leucht und schnell durch den Tag was zum Essen holen. Das Restaurant ist groß genug für Familien und hat auch Tische für zwei oder vier Personen. Perfekte Platz für dates abends und einfach mit Freunde zu treffen

Von den Bewertungen waren wir positiv eingestellt, jedoch war alles von vorne bis hinten sehr schlimm. Deren Servicekraft diskutiert wegen einer einfachen Bestellung da es ihm nicht passt und es kommt dennoch komplett falsch. Das Essen war sehr trocken, hart und nicht essbar. Im Dönerfleisch war ein Knochen drin. Nach 1-2 Std ging es mir nach dem Essen sehr schlecht, ich würde diesen Laden keinen empfehlen.

Naja, aber die scharfe Sauce war gut.

Leider war die Thekenbedienung etwas unfreundlich. Es war aber auch kurz vor Schluss. Essen lecker.

Leider gibt es ausschließlich Hähnchendöner dort zu kaufen, fand ich merkwürdig und bin hungrig gegangen da ich nur Kalbdöner mag.

Das war mit Abstand der widerlichste Dönerteller, den ich jemals gegessen habe. Selbst der eine Stern, ist schon zuviel. Ich kann nur abraten dort Essen zu gehen das Geld kann man sich sparen. Der Service spiegelt das essen eins zu eins wieder grauenhaft.

Einmal und nie wieder!! Hatte einen Dönerteller mit Pommes.Der Krautsalat auf den Teller war sehr trocken und ekelhaft im Geschmack.Die Pommes versalzen weckt den Eindruck das hier mit Getränken Geld gemacht wird.der klein zerfetzte Salat mit 3 Tomaten Scheiben war eine Zumutung.Das Highlight war der Ketchup Klecks 🤦 zwischen dem Dönerfleisch und der Pommes.Tzaziki gab es nicht auf dem Fleisch dafür aber diesen billig Ketchup von No Name . Normalerweise hat der Laden kein Stern verdient ich kann den Laden nicht empfehlen.Desweiteren Ist der Service eine Katastrophe man hat noch nicht in die Karte geschaut und schon steht jemand am Tisch .sehr unprofessionell auch was den Ton den Gästen gegenüber angeht kaum steht man im Laden wird in einem unfreundlichen Ton gefragt mitnehmen oder Abholen.Euer Geld könnt ihr woanders ausgeben ohne euch zu Ärgern.

Ich war am 16.10. zum Abendessen mit meiner Familie hier und das Essen hat, auch meinen Kindern sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Inhaber und auch die Bedienung waren außerordentlich zuvorkommend. Alles zusammen genommen, hatten wir einen wundervollen, perfekten Abend! Mein Name ist Iseini.
