Restaurant @ Der Kleine Prinz in Baden-Baden

There were four of us and the food was excellent for all of us. The wine list could do with a few additional items at this great restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere. Stylishly and themed to the Little Prince. We tried our way through the various tapas/starters. All the dishes were very good and the idea of ​​small plates is a nice concept to try and share lots of little things. The service is attentive and friendly. The restaurant is recommended ☺️

Wir haben fein gegessen und wurden von den Mitarbeitenden des Restaurants sehr gut bewirtet. Die Karte beinhaltet eine kleine und sehr feine Auswahl. Ich komme wieder.

The restaurant is not cheap - but that's ok, since the quality of the food is good. They have a small main menu and about 10 tapas, which you can also order as a first course. The wine was good, but not outstanding. Our main problem: W had a very long wait before our first course, a spinach salat with summer truffle arrived - after more than 40 minutes, even before the bread and butter which was promised us sonn after our arrival. Then it took another wait for the next things to arrive (tapas). For a restaurant at that price level, which was not very crowded, that is simply too long a wait (withou any explanation).

Generous aperitif, exquisite appetizers, shared tapas lunch - all in a very pleasant atmosphere, with impeccable service! Thanks for this beautiful discovery.

Wir haben im Hotel übernachtet und das mit einem Besuch im Restaurant verbunden. Gastronomisch ist alles nahezu perfekt gestaltet. Speisen und Getränke stimmig und handwerlich gut umgesetzt. Vom Service füllten wir uns abgeholt und proaktiv beraten. Das Thema des Hotelkonzeptes hat sich auch im Ambiente des Restaurants fortgesetzt. Das Hotel hebt sich auf seine Weise, von der üblichen Konzeption der Wettbewerber ab und bietet uns ein Lighthouse Point in Baden Baden.

On our trip to Baden-Baden today we didn't park in the parking garage in the city center, but rather near the Hotel "Der Kleine Prinz". The name and the exterior piqued our interest. By chance we discovered a gastronomic pearl that we will now visit more often. The restaurant team turned our little trip into a real vacation. Highly recommended

I can fully recommend this restaurant! Excellent cuisine, all dishes are a feast for the palate and eyes and extremely pleasant service staff. The ambience is magical - according to the motto "you can only see well with your heart"

This restaurant is first class- its service its food and its environment- all very classy/ We had dinner here 3x included in our hotel arrangement. And every time we ate from the delicious cut duck breast, to the chicken suprême and the extremely easy to swallow lam to the delicious desserts! And this in a dining room, designed with le petit prince drawings.

We only went to the restaurant, so unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel. But the restaurant was good. The food was of the best quality and tasted excellent. The service was always present without being intrusive, very friendly and accommodating.

One of the most beautiful dining experiences I have ever had! I wanted to break out of my comfort zone, and I did with a beautiful deer in this beautiful fruity sauce! But the ceviche is what really took my tastebuds on a culinary journey....fish so soft that it seemed as though your tongue was resting on a delicious cloud! The best part, however, is the staff! Job well done!! Absolutely superb!!

A really coherent concept. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and everything was spotlessly clean.

The atmosphere, the service and the quality of the food and drinks are so exceptionally good that we are almost afraid that we won't be able to get a free seat if word gets around. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner here. We both had two different venison dishes - both cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, elegant, but also practical and not stuffy. The maître d', a very charming gentleman with the name of Edgar Vehlgut (spelling?), recommended an excellent local white wine and looked after us very well. It was a perfect evening. Ask Edgar about his travels in Namibia - very interesting! (Tip: you can go upstairs for a cocktail and a game of pool before the meal).

Service here is spectacular. The food is tasty. Good wine recommendations. Even child friendly (which is rare for upclass restaurants). Highly recommended.

Posto da evitare assolutamente. Ho ordinato un filetto di rombo con purè verdurine e senape Mi hanno presentato una fettina di rombo che sarà stata circa 30 g di peso annegata in un liquido che era ben lontano dall’essere un purè. Il tutto insaporito da senape e scaglie di tartufo che di tartufo aveva solo il nome e il prezzo! Piatto indegno Per fortuna mi sono rifatta con i formaggi che invece erano buoni e saporiti. Il ristoratore mi ha rabboccato il bicchiere di vino senza che glielo chiedessi (ho creduto fosse una cortesia visto che avevo solo sorseggiato) ma poi me lo sono trovato sul conto! Alla fine ho speso 95 euro !! Follia !!!!! me ne sono andata senza che nessuno si accorgesse della mia dipartita nel ristoratore né i camerieri. Non mi stupisce che il ristorante fosse vuoto. E di questo passo credo che ci rimarrà

My darling and I stayed at the Hotel “Der kleine Prinz” for a short trip to Baden-Baden and also ate in the restaurant there. We were completely satisfied. The service was very competent and also very humorous. We felt very comfortable. In addition, the kitchen easily adapted all of my sweetheart's chosen dishes due to her allergies. This is very possible in kitchens that prepare the food fresh. In short, we can expressly recommend a visit to the “The Little Prince” restaurant.

Very nice owner, a very experienced top chef and his great team round off the evening. Very nice hotel. Can only recommend it. The employees seem very happy. For me it means that all employees are treated very well and valued. Perfect host as well as employer. Here you feel very comfortable as a guest. Very central and everything is beautiful! Sehr gepflegtes Restaurant mit exquisitem, ausgefallenem Essen. Wir haben hier während eines Kurzbesuchs in Baden Baden übernachtet. Naheliegend war dann auch hier zu Abend zu essen. Mir erschienen die Gerichte zunächst sehr ungewöhnlich, die Zweifel, ob es schmecken würde waren aber schnell vergangen! Wundervollster Abend. Beste denkbare Bedienung und Beratung. Schnell, aufmerksam, freundlichst, großzügig, kompetent. Wundervolles Essen, perfekter Sherry, sehr gute Weinempfehlung. Ruhig, friedlich, guter Platz, gute Hintergrundmusik, tolles Ambiente und Thema.

Service ungelernt: Auf Hinweis einer Kühlschrank kalten Terrine kam ein schlichtes „o.k.“ Getränke wurden mit Arm vor Gesicht und über den Speiseteller nachgeschenkt. Essen gute Qualität zu überteuerten Preisen. Für Fisch- und Fleischgericht wurden identische Gemüsebeilagen serviert. Anspruch und Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt garnicht zusammen!

Die Karte ist nicht gross, aber mit ausgewählten Gerichten bestückt. Entenleberparfait, Tournedo mit Entenleber und Lammkarree. Grosse Küche mit viel Geschmack, wir haben alles genossen. Die Weinauswahl war hervorragend.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious, the wine is perfect, and the staff is professional and helpful. I had a wonderful dinner with soup, lamb, and crème brûlée. Highly recommended.

One of the best meals my family has ever had. Everything that we had was delicious. Might go back to Baden Baden just to eat here. Recommend the duck, lobster salad. Shrimp salad and all the desserts.

Da unser Hotel (Belle Epoche) kein Restaurant selber hat (ist aber "Partner" Hotel mit der Kleine Prinz), haben wir einen Tisch über die Belle Epoche hier reserviert. Essen war gut bis sehr gut, service gut. Ambience war nett.

Die Vorspeise „Hummersuppe“ war lauwarm. Geschmacklich aber fein und gut. Die Hauptspeise „ Kalbs Medallions“ war enttäuschend. Das Fleisch war ok. Die Spargel fielen auseinander und waren komplett zerkocht. Was Pfannkuchen als Beilage da zu suchen hatten, ist uns schleierhaft geblieben. Das Dessert war ein Desaster, Obst schon am Rande von faul. Die Mousse konnten das nicht rausreißen. Die Getränke sind extrem teuer, für eine Flasche Wasser, 9 €, 14€ für ein No Name Champagner und 45€ für den Hauswein waren mit 82€ nur für Getränke echt stolz. Der Ober Kellner war ober unfreundlich und tatsächlich waren wir unzufrieden, vermutlich weil die Atmosphäre durch ihn auch etwas litt, dass er zwischen Gästen erster und zweiter Güte zu unterscheiden schien. Aus irgend einem Grund waren wir nicht gut genug für ihn..So kam es uns vor. Wir waren für meinen Geburtstag in Baden- Baden und sind tatsächlich etwas enttäuscht über das Essen, in einen Restaurant, was sich als Gourmet Restaurant bezeichnet….. Da ist sehr viel Luft nach oben. Das Hotel ist schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. In das Hotel würden wir immer wieder kommen.

We kwamen hier op aanraden van vrienden, dus de verwachtingen waren hooggespannen. De temperatuur in de eetzaal was wat ons betreft vrij hoog, wellicht was er geen airco of deze was defect? Er waren (door corona?) 5 tafels bezet gedurende de avond terwijl er 4 heren in de bediening waren, wat resulteerde in vaak een ober aan onze tafel. Ofwel om te vragen of het in orde was, ofwel om water of wijn bij te schenken. Dat had voor ons niet gehoeven. Daarnaast had ik het idee dat een van de obers in opleiding was en deze werd geregeld hoorbaar voor de gasten gecorrigeerd door de hoofdober. Ook dat had voor ons niet gehoeven. We vonden het eten goed, maar helaas niet heel bijzonder. Al met al was de avond iets teleurstellend voor ons.

Abbiamo cenato in un ambiente molto particolare, raffinato senza essere stucchevole. Sembrava di essere nei gli ambienti dell’inizio del secolo scorso, ma con un tocco di originalità. I piatti sono stati di livello come il servizio. Sicuramente da provare. Non è certo economico ma come sempre la qualità e l’ambiente si devono pagare. In ogni caso per me il prezzo è giusto.

Leider war das Speisenangebot sehr übersichtlich. Wir hatten eine komfortablere Auswahl in Erinnerung. Die Zubereitung und Qualität waren jedoch tadellos. Der Service hinterließ einen schalen Beigeschmack. Wir schätzen lockere Atmosphäre, doch hier wäre ein Benimmkursus angebracht. Schade.

I booked a stay at the hotel and elected to book also the 1/2 board option to include a 3 course dinner. So my only dinner expense above that was drinks. I would Recommend eating here even if you are not a hotel guest. Worth...
