Disappointed by the potato/tomato pancakes, gratinated, the salad was not ordered by the waiter. I had to send the dish back to the kitchen because it was completely cold in the middle, and it didn't come back much hotter. no apology from the server. (4 tables occupied in this area of ​​the restaurant..... stress in the kitchen 🤔?) I don't recommend this place. Christmas decoration the exterior and interior is impressive.

The ambience here was quite nice. However, I found the prices, especially for the drinks, to be significantly overpriced.

The food is terribly bad or of poor quality. If you order, you have to wait hours for them to be prepared, and they are saltless and tasteless. The waiters do not know the language, they are ignorant and expect the wine. It's a tourist trap and they manipulate you with the decoration in exchange for bad food and expensive drinks.

We were hungry and stopped by here after seeing it earlier during walking tour of area on river cruise. We opted to eat downstairs due to weather. See photo. Menu choices was just what we wanted soup and salad. One can also eat outside along sidewalk or upstairs. And WC was available. Menu in multiple languages.

Nice atmosphere, but despite what feels like a dozen employees you wait forever. Over 6 euros for a 0.4L apple spritzer is no longer comprehensible to me. Almost 8 euros for the cyclist, either. My coleslaw wasn't even delivered, but there was no one to whom I could report it. Food was normal, but not as outstanding as the prices would suggest. Plus a mini portion of side dishes...Small cappuccino cup as a portion of spaetzle. You definitely shouldn't be hungry. We won't go there again.

The wine was excellent and the staff in traditional costume were particularly friendly. Plus the authentic Bavarian dishes - simply great!

Went there for dinner with people last Friday. And what can I say... just top service, food and price. Of course the ambience is also great. Can only be recommended and would be happy to come back, even if we are from Freiburg.

A very pleasant setting, a nice menu with good cuisine. On the other hand, ordering, being served cleared (see photo) or simply seen by a waiter is a real challenge, even with an almost empty restaurant. It’s a real shame because this could be a must in Baden-Baden. But there, I can only suggest that you go your way.

The food tasted good, the furnishings were typically Bavarian and cozy. However, the price/performance doesn't fit at all. Waiters who only come after 20 minutes and clear the food while people are still eating. At €7.20 for half, everything had to fit and it didn't. Ultimately, unfortunately, category tourist trap.

A good place to stop and have a meal and a beverage. It always seems to be very busy here but you can find a spot pretty easily.

Nothing special at very high prices. Once you sit they charge 5eur per person for half a portion of bread and one pretzel to share with the table. This applies also if you are going only for drinks.

How can we explain our “magnificent experience”? Let's start with the welcome which was of a coldness rarely encountered in a restaurant. The only smile we had was when we paid the bill Let's then focus on the dishes, we had a käsespätzle which turned out to only have the taste of fried onions. We also had ribs (probably reheated given the texture), quick to eat given the little meat present on them and certainly not talking about the barbecue sauce with a strong taste of alcohol... but don't count on a good glass of water to convey the taste because the price of 75cl of still water is charged at 9.50 euros. Ashamed Restaurant to avoid at all costs.

The atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious and the service in traditional costume is super friendly.

The staff was not very friendly and when the chef made a mistake in our order and served us warm pasta with cheese that we had not ordered and refused to give us our chosen dishes. Too expensive for simple pasta. We will not return there.

Bianca was our waitress and she was just amazing, super friendly, sweet, recommended really the best thing for us. The food was fast, she made us feel comfy, she really took good care of us. We didn’t have cash but we tipped by card and asked them to be given to her. But at the end they told us the tips go to the owner? But after we paid the tips? Which I found rude. But please if you go there ask for Bianca she will really make your experience the most amazing

We drank chocolate. It was delicious. And the waiter girl was so kind and similing.

Normally we went to the Löwenbräu in Baden-Baden every year for festival events. But this time we were shocked at the insane prices. A light 0.5 costs 7.20. A liver dumpling soup costs 10.50 and the broth isn't even anything special. Matjes fillet 17.50 and you first have to look for the matjes under the lettuce and onion rings and first the 2 small white sausages with pretzel (which was totally crunchy) 11.20 That's too much of a good thing. We don't go there anymore. this is a rip off. I spend a lot of time outside and in Dresden or Leipzig the breweries are a third to half cheaper.

Not having a place outside we were upstairs, in a somewhat dark room.. the menu is well stocked, the plates could be a little more at this price. Unfortunately the welcome and the services are quite cold...the decor and the Bavarian costumes are not everything. Too expensive for what it is...borderline tourist traps.

Kudos to the staff in traditional costume who made the evening very special. Authentic Bavarian food and great wine!

Very unfriendly and condescending service and restaurant management. A visit is no fun, and the food is just average. Not recommended, you could rather go to a fast food restaurant and get better and friendlier service.

I have tried many traditional dishes in Germany, especially Bavarian cuisine. But I've never been so disappointed. This is my first bad review that I have given on Google. The service in this restaurant was extremely rude. There were many service staff, but whenever I asked for help, I was sent from one to the other. Because of the poor service, we didn't leave a tip when paying, even though the waitress specifically asked for it. After she found out that there was no tip, she immediately started complaining loudly to her colleagues about it. Are we air for them? So we were ignored the whole time. As for the food: yes, it was really fresh… because it came from the microwave to our table in less than 10 minutes. Apparently they have a lot of microwaves there. I really don't understand why this restaurant has such good reviews.

The knuckle was really tasty - order a portion and you can share it - it's a lot.

How lucky am I that my companion was so nice and attractive... So in this place of sheer mass tourism... by far the worst food, nothing could scare me or spoil my mood... Highly recommended for all people who want to pay a lot of money for homemade convinience food from "Metro" and then be welcomed and served like in a bad movie by the most unfriendly people!!! Guys then this is the place to be!!! We had called beforehand to find out whether the kitchen was still open... We were told everything was fine... when we arrived... we were given the cards that still had the "leftovers" from our predecessors on them!!! Ordered drinks... And the main course... we didn't even get to dessert... because the waitress disappeared immediately... When asked if these were homemade dishes they said yes 🙃!!! Now home-made, certainly heated... I had cabbage rolls XXL 🤣 The only XXL thing about it was the price and the inedible amount of cabbage... so hard that even the knife 🔪 wouldn't cut it!!! Hardly any taste of their own, the bread dumplings were no different...without any taste...as if they had been bathing all day... My friend's dish...was hardly better...When I was clearing it, I crossed the cutlery and the plate was almost complete...which the waiter didn't realize and, in all seriousness, then asked if it tasted good...my criticism put it away and left the table without comment... The desserts were all straight out of the bag... and that wasn't enough... while we were eating... the waitress came and handed over the bill 🙃... 🤣 All in all, it's its own kind of "art". Many thanks to the operator and the friendly staff for these experiences; Get one star because without it there is no rating 🤣

Visited during Dec -23: The atmosphere is great: a lot of Xmas decorations, a lot of lights inside and outside. It is written that during the Xmas period, customers are charged 3.5€ per head, to pay for « inflation and energy price » meaning that customers are paying for their use of electricity and amount of energy used by all the lights. We had the ribs, the jäger schnitzel and the knuckles pork bone. The first and latter were good, the schnitzel was too dry. Food overall was okay. We also paid 8.8€ for a 75cl for a sparkling water, which was excessively expensive for the area.

Food was okay. The pork knuckle was a bit dry on the outside. Rest of food pretty salty so really mainly a match for chugging beer. Considering pork knuckle came with rest of food ten minutes after ordering, it must be premade and reheated. Meh. Less wait time in exchange for less freshness. A small cockroach made its way to our tabletop during the dinner. So that’s definitely no good. So much for the atmosphere. The ambience got very cozy and warm with all the lights on tables and dangling on the trees as it got dark. Overcharges for drinks, 9.5 euro for a bottle of water. I guess they assume you are loaded if you vacation here. This is way more than the 6.5 I’ve seen in other cities. Total lack of service. No greeting when we went up. Took minutes for someone to come up to table and ask about drinks. Two waiters asked if we want drinks, so clearly lack of coordination. After meal was eaten, took a while for someone to clean up dishes. Then, eventually someone just walked up with the bill. Seems like they do the bills in batches, a guy takes out the bill to multiple tables. Incidentally it seems he was having a bad day, evidenced by hand waving and some utterances. Pretty hilarious to watch. Not so fun is the obviously ignoring of eye contact when you wanna ask him for the bill as he walked by. Add to that the appearance of the face to begin with… I think the place is okay for grubs but isn’t some place I would want to go back to.

I've been there twice now and each time the food is delicious and delivered quickly. The service is nice, but sometimes the service staff seems a bit listless. After eating we wanted to use the toilet and were barked at somewhat rudely and asked if we were guests too. I can understand the question, but the sound makes the music. Generally nice atmosphere with Bavarian beer garden flair and appropriate music.

Travelling for three weeks around Europe we’ve enjoyed excellent cuisine and service at both expensive and cheap and cheerful restaurants. This place is neither cheap nor cheerful and is the worst we’ve experienced. It’s easier to list why: - no cutlery brought by server, when we did try and get main waiter’s attention he was annoyed as busy. When he did finally dump cutlery on our table, he was irritated in his challenge ‘is everything not okay?’ - food & drink very overpriced yet no quality. Jäger schnitzel very thin, tough and overcooked. - had to ask passing server who was straightening table cloths on empty tables to kindly remove our plates 20 minutes after we’d finished. - prices on menu different to charges on the bill. Apparently the small notices we missed were telling us they’d put their beer prices up for Oktoberfest yet it was the 17th September? Not all negative: - dog friendly - pretty beer garden under trees & fairy lights

A perfect visit to Löwenbräu Baden-Baden! We sat outside and enjoyed the sun - the atmosphere in the beer garden is simply wonderful. The large light beer was refreshing and the Aperol was also excellently mixed. The service was very friendly and attentive, and we felt completely at home. A great place to enjoy a good drink in a relaxed environment. We would definitely like to come back!

One of the best traditional restaurants in Baden Baden a pork knuckle not to miss

Arrived on Friday evening with 8 people. We called ahead and asked if we needed to make a reservation. The answer on the phone from an employee was “no, come over, we have space”. When we arrived at the restaurant, the service staff didn't know anything about it and we were assigned a table in the entrance area to the restaurant on the terrace. The first impression was good. The second impression was that one of the chefs came towards us from the staff/delivery entrance and smoked a cigarette in the pedestrian zone. At the table we were served in a friendly but reserved manner by a service employee. The drinks and the food we ordered were served quickly. Our reordered supplements were taken into account. The food tasted good, but not really hot. The vegetables were very lightly cooked and unfortunately completely tasteless. The meat was fried to death (the poor animals died the second time). The matjes portions (3x at the table) were different sizes (2x 2 fillets each, 1x only 1 fillet and a small piece), the so-called boiled potatoes were not cooked through and also didn't really taste great. We had to get salt and pepper ourselves from other tables for seasoning. When we objectively expressed our legitimate criticism while clearing away the room, we were told that it would be passed on to the kitchen. Attentive service is different. Not a word of apology or anything like that. We were also not asked for more drinks or dessert after we had cleared away the food. The restaurant may have a nice location in the city center, but nothing more. We definitely won't come back or recommend the restaurant. At just under €40 per person including a large drink, as a guest I simply expect more.

Classic Biergarten, certainly an excellent solution for a cheap and quick meal considering the context of Baden-Baden 😅

Terrible food, treatment worse than bad. I have never felt so humiliated. The manager has literally kicked us out of the dining room. The waiters did not pick up the plates to put the next ones. The unpresentable manager had a demand to collect, and when he brought the change he threw it on the table. I give 1 star because there is no possibility of giving 0
