We were here a year ago and it was average: furnishings okay, service friendly, food also okay: a typical Greek, slightly overpriced (4 zucchini slices €7). In the meantime the food has deteriorated so much that it's definitely the last time I've been there. There were no more zucchini slices. The feta on the Greek salad (12€) was not feta, but something tasteless with a rubbery consistency (neither shepherd's cheese or haloumi), no visible peppers (except the pickled ones), hardly any/no olive oil in the salad (on the table anyway not, not even bread or anything like that). The baked potato slices for 6.50! were horrible: dripping in fat, dark, unsalted, with way too much cheap cheese on top. The dolmadakia came from a can with a huge dollop of sour cream and sweet tomato sauce (instead of tzatziki). The side salad also had no peppers, coleslaw or tzatziki (a dollop, as it says on the menu, costs €3). The pans for certain dishes are particularly small. Of course I said something and complained, which left the room hanging. Night cap - that was once. If you like all the platters of gods and island plates with fries, this is the place for you. Fresh, authentic Greek cuisine can be found in Greece.

The boss could be a little friendlier, the fries were limp, otherwise the food was delicious.

Were guests at the Delphi restaurant this evening. I have to say we were there for the first and last time. The food was brought to the table cold and the worst thing was that there was a piece of plastic under the fries! Something like that should never happen! This was then reported to the waitress and simply accepted, no apology or compensation! Really really a shame!

Essen mittelmäßig. Bedienung roch ungewaschen. Inhaber fragte unfreundlich, ob ich was essen wolle. Auf meine Frage, ob ich mit Karte bezahlen könnte, wurde ich aufgefordert in bar zu bezahlen.

The staff are always helpful and polite, and they make every guest feel welcome. The service is attentive and quick. The restaurant is located in the middle of Rheda city center and has an indoor and a large outdoor area. The service is sometimes not so friendly. Kalimera! “Delphi” has been an institution in Rheda for years. When the move to Doctor Square took place some time ago, I feared that a lot would change. Has it too! Nicer ambience inside and out (which wasn't a bit difficult considering the previous location...)! What remained the same was the super nice service and the quality of the food. We can only hope that the people of Rheda will keep their Greek restaurant so popular that it will last for many years to come.

For 5 euros the portion from ToGoodToGo was OK, in the app the portion for 15 euros is excellent. If you look at the pictures in the reviews, you can clearly see that the normal portions are significantly larger. You also had to wait a long time and the boss seemed very stressed, even though there wasn't much going on. Food was tasty. ToGoodToGo is intended to save food, not to get a small portion of everyday business. Definitely expandable. I'll be happy to convince you next time. 😉

Worthy of mention is the participation in TooGoodToGo, which was also the reason for my visit. When I picked it up, I showed the - presumably boss - my cell phone to confirm the pickup. The boss wanted to do it himself, but then let me do it. He then asked me to go back a page in the app. When I asked why, the only answer I got was “can you leave a 5 star rating straight away?” I wasn't sure if he was serious and said that we could talk about it when I had the food in my hand and had eaten it later. Without further comment he headed towards the kitchen. Another customer who also wanted to pick up an order via TooGoodToGo told me that she had also tried this approach. I find that rude and yet a bit questionable to try to get good reviews like that. I paid €5, the stated value of the goods (usually three times the paid value) was €15. I don't really want to complain, the food was good so far, the portion wasn't the largest, somewhere else you might have paid €8-10 for it, but not €15. Nevertheless, TooGoodToGo is about saving food from the bin, but it's also about ensuring that the seller sticks to the rules. If he states €15, these should also be roughly adhered to, it's not about €1 , but something more. As I said, I paid €5 and it was more than okay, but I still didn't like the behavior of the restaurant, hence the rating given.

We had various dishes and starters and all of them were very tasty and the size was more than sufficient and appropriate for the price. The interior is very cozy and the service staff is very friendly and attentive. We definitely weren't there for the last time.

I always eat the baked lamb and can only recommend it. We've been coming to eat here for years and Delphi is our number 1 Greek restaurant. You can easily take a 45-minute drive there. Top! Please stay as you are.

Das Essen an sich war lecker. Der Service auch super. Nur leider waren wir da Weihnachten am 26. Mit der Familie da essen, und paar Stunden später hatten wir höllische Magen darm Beschwerden. Von 10 Leuten waren 4-5 Leute betroffen. Sind uns da sehr sicher. Das Essen war dem Preis auch nicht gerechtfertigt. Wir waren das letzte mal da! Soviel Geld im Klo gelandet.

Die Calamares war totfritiert und somit ungenießbar. Die Pommes latschig :-( Nachdem mein Essen mit einer Grimasse ausgetauscht wurde, meinte der Kellner "andere Gäste mögen das" Ich hätte mir ein "Entschuldigung" gewünscht anstatt einer Diskussion! Die Backkartoffeln mit stolzen 6,50€ sind aber sehr lecker.

Essen ist relativ teuer und ist nur okay vom Geschmack.

Hat uns leider nicht überzeugt. Der Tisch war dreckig und wurde erst auf unser bitten hin geeinigt, dass Essen war nicht überzeugend, die Bedienung war freundlich und präsent. Wir werden wohl nicht wieder kommen.

Wir waren am Samstag mit Freunden im Restaurant und waren begeistert. Mitten auf dem Doktorplatz sitzt man gut und kann den Sommer genießen. Personal war freundlich. Essen war sehr gut, große Portionen, gute Preise und sehr lecker. Einziges Mango: In Karte nicht alle Gerichte enthalten, die es tatsächlich gibt und gar keine Weine aufgeführt. Das könnte man definitiv optimieren. Ansonsten jederzeit wieder.

Wir haben uns im Delphi verabredet um einen schönen Abend mit Freundinnen zu erleben. Das Restaurant gemütlich und einladend. Die Bedienung hatte wohl einen schlechten Tag. Sie versuchte zu lächeln, hatte jedoch keine Geduld mit uns. Es gab pampige Antworten und Augenrollen über unser Unvermögen, die Karte richtig zu lesen, obwohl wir uns entschuldigt haben. Vor dem Essen gab es als Gruß des Hauses einen Uzo. Das Essen dann nicht nach meinen Vorstellungen. Die Moussaka nur lauwarm. Völlig übersalzen und trocken. Statt einer leckeren Bechamel eine Schicht Kartoffelbrei, der so fest war, dass man ihn wie einen Deckel abheben konnte. Auberginen musste man suchen. Knoblauch habe ich vermisst. Ich habe dann nur sehr wenig gegessen um wenigstens meinen Hunger zu stillen und danach Magenprobleme. Auch andere fanden das Essen nur lauwarm und wenig ansprechend. Die Gyrosesser waren zufrieden. Die Stimmung gut, so war es dann ein schöner Abend. Leider auch einen Punktabzug für die Toilette im Obergeschoss. Für Gehbehinderte wie mich fast unmöglich zu meistern. Meine Freundin kam garnicht hoch. Musste es sich "verkneifen". Schade. Die 2 Punkte fürs Ambiente und die Aufmerksamkeit bei den Getränken.

I am Greek and I know from Greek food, I have tried a lot Greek restaurants abroad, but this is one definitely mesmerized me with it genuine tastes and authentic Greek dishes. Service is amazing and the owners are really friendly and welcoming.

Das Lokal hat einen schönen Außenbereich in dem die Abstände sehr gut eingehalten werden können. Begrüßt werden wir durch einen Kellner, der die für griechische Restaurants typische „Verbundenheit" zeigte. Schwiegermutter fühlte sich dadurch geschmeichelt und bekam dadurch das Gefühl vermittelt, der wichtigste Gast des Abends zu sein. Die übrigen Servicekräfte aber ließen diese Verbundenheit vermissen, wie auch das Gefühl, dass sie ihren Job vollumfänglich verstanden haben. Die Bestellung gestaltete sich leicht problematisch und man hatte das Gefühl, die junge Dame könnte überfordert sein.. Eine weitere Servicekraft trug ihre Maske dekorativ unter dem Mund, am Kinn hängend. Auch als sie zum Bedienen nah an den Gästen arbeitete. Irgendwann schaffte sie es, die Maske zumindest über dem Mund zu tragen. Bis zur Nase klappte das noch nicht. Ich bin zuversichtlich, dass auch das irgendwann klappt. Überhaupt wurden Schutzmaßnahmen wie Desinfektion von Flächen und Speisekarten zumindest nicht erkennbar durchgeführt. Für mich war das allerdings unproblematisch, da ich meine Zweifel habe, dass von Oberflächen eine ernstzunehmende Gefahr ausgeht. Der flapsige Umgang mit der Maske hat mich allerdings durchaus gestört. Die Speisekarte war mit Gerichten reich gesegnet, auch wenn die Kombination von Komponenten teils ungewöhnlich (nicht unangenehm!) erschien. Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller war gut, enthielt jedoch keine besondere Überraschung. Das Fleisch der Hauptspeise schmeckte gut. Saftig und gut gegrillt. Die Beilagen waren typisch und schmeckten wie erwartet. Der Espresso zum Abschluß schmeckte tatsächlich ziemlich gut, während das Beste am Wein die fehlerhaft geschriebenen Etiketten waren. Ich mag mir garnicht vorstellen, wie unfassbar süß ein süßer Wein sein muß, wenn der als halbsüß beschriebene schon wie Zuckerwasser daher kommt. Die Gerichte waren im Verhältnis preiswert. Dafür wurde aber auch auf den gewohnten Frei-Ouzo verzichtet, oder das lag an den noch nicht in den Workflow gefundenen Servicekräften. Fazit: ein Lokal zum netten Zusammensitzen, insbesondere draußen bei typischen Gerichten. Man wird geschmacklich nicht enttäuscht, aber auch nicht sonderlich überrascht. Dafür zahlt man einen sehr fairen Preis. Auf den Wein würde ich das nächste Mal jedoch gerne verzichten. Das Thema Service ist generell ein zunehmendes in der gesamten Gastronomie. Das kann man niemanden anlasten. An Freundlichkeit ließen die Damen jedoch nichts vermissen. Das war ok. Ich komme gerne wieder, denn ich weiß, was ich zu erwarten habe. Insbesondere zum draußen sitzen sehr gut geeignet.

Schöne Lokalität, mit großem Außenbereich. Bestelltes Essen kam zügig und war sehr schmackhaft. Standesgemäß ein Ouzo als Aperitif. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
