Mykonos in Rheda-Wiedenbrück

Wir waren bisher immer zufrieden, wenn wir dort waren. Das Essen - insbesondere mein geliebtes Taramas - ist hervorragend. Man wird schnell und aufmerksam bedient, so dass man gern wiederkommt.

Einfach ein tolles griechisches Restaurant mit hervorragendem Service.

DIE WICHTIGSTE SPEISE OHNE DIE MAN VERHUNGERT GRIECHISCHER WEIN 🍷 UND DIE ALT VERTRAUTEN LIEDER Hier gibt's gutes griechisches Essen: Von Fisch 🐟, Geflügel und Schwein ist alles dabei 🐖. Und natürlich, nicht zu vergessen, lecker 😋 Gyros mit Reis 🍚 oder 🍟 Selbstverständlich gibt's dazu auch den berühmten griechischen 🍷, von dem Udo Jürgens gesungen Also schaut mal rein und KALI OREXI, das ist griechisch und heißt GUTEN APPETIT. Zum Schluss muss ich noch eine ganz wichtige Sache loswerden. Egal ob 🇬🇷, 🇮🇹 oder 🇩🇪 Imbiss. Das sind Speisen, die zum großen Teil dem Genuss dienen. Es gibt aber eine Speise, die auch zum Genuss dient, nämlich dem GENUSS DES EWIGEN LEBENS. Dennoch ist sie die allerwichtigste Speise überhaupt. Ich meine die Speise, die der HERR UND HEILAND JESUS CHRISTUS anbietet. Lest dazu meine Rezensionen über THE BERNSTEIN, beides Lokale in Bielefeld und GIOVANNIS BRINGDIENST in Herford. Wir waren im Urlaub in Wiedenbrück und im Restaurant Mykonos. Wir waren angenehm überrascht, wie schön es eingerichtet ist. Sehr leckeres Essen, nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und können es nur weiterempfehlen!

Netter Grieche. Reservierung meistens notwendig!

Nicht gerade günstig aber lecker!

Wir haben die Gerichte Nr. 20, 21 und 26 zum Mitnehmen bestellt und waren leider insgesamt sehr enttäuscht. Die Portionen waren für die aufgerufenen Preise von etwa 17–23 € pro Gericht deutlich zu klein und standen in keinem angemessenen Verhältnis zum Preis. Das Ofengemüse war geschmacklich sehr enttäuschend und schmeckte nahezu ausschließlich nach Wasser, sodass es letztlich stehen geblieben ist. Bei Gericht Nr. 26 waren zudem lediglich sechs Kroketten enthalten, was ebenfalls eher enttäuschend war. Darüber hinaus hatten wir auch beim Abholen nicht das Gefühl, wirklich willkommen zu sein, obwohl es sich nur um eine einfache Mitnahmebestellung handelte. Insgesamt hat uns der Besuch leider nicht überzeugt, sodass wir dort nicht noch einmal bestellen würden.

Sehr gemütlich, nettes Personal und gutes Essen.

Wir waren gestern mit einer größeren Familienfeier (ca. 30 Personen) in diesem Restaurant essen. Für unsere Gruppe war von Anfang an ein Buffet geplant – was für uns grundsätzlich in Ordnung war. Allerdings waren die Portionen durchweg winzig und es wurde nur sehr zögerlich nachgelegt. Mehrere Gäste sind am Ende nicht einmal satt geworden. Der Service war leider äußerst chaotisch und unorganisiert. Auf die Frage, ob es sich bei einem Gericht um Hähnchen oder Schweinefleisch handelt, wurde uns zunächst gesagt, es sei Schwein. Zehn Minuten später wurden wir korrigiert, es war doch Hähnchen. Solche widersprüchlichen Aussagen sind absolut inakzeptabel. Auch auf eine Nachfrage zu möglichen Nüssen im Dessert konnte uns keine verlässliche Auskunft gegeben werden. Zudem war das Essen geschmacklich leider nichts Besonderes und konnte insgesamt nicht überzeugen. Hinzu kam, dass das Hähnchen teilweise nicht richtig durchgebraten war, ein absolutes No-Go. Besonders ärgerlich war jedoch die Preisgestaltung. Für die sehr kleinen Portionen, das chaotische Service-Erlebnis und die mangelnde Organisation wurden aus unserer Sicht viel zu hohe, völlig überteuerte Preise verlangt. Selbst Kleinkinder (unter drei Jahren) wurden voll berechnet. Nachbestellungen wurden konsequent einzeln zusätzlich abgerechnet, obwohl das Buffet ohnehin kaum ausreichend war. Auch dips und Brot wurde ebenfalls voll berechnet, wo ebenfalls extrem mit den Portionen gespart wurde. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat hier überhaupt nicht gepasst. Ein Kellner (von 4)war freundlich und bemüht das möchten wir fairerweise erwähnen leider blieb er die Ausnahme. Für eine Familienfeier in dieser Größenordnung hätten wir deutlich mehr Professionalität, Transparenz und Gastfreundschaft erwartet. Insgesamt eine große Enttäuschung, Unverschämtheit und leider keine Empfehlung.

Sehr schlimm Salz ohne Ende teuer

Das ist kein Service. Am 15.1. habe ich wie häufiger etwas bestellt. Das Kartenlesegerät funktionierte nicht, selbst nach einigen Anläufen. Genügend Bargeld hatte ich leider nicht dabei. Mein Angebot morgen zu zahlen nahm man nicht an. Ich sollte zur Bank fahren. Der Chef versuchte es noch einmal, nichts funktionierte. Als ich sagte, dass ich ohne Essen gehen wollte, drohte der Chef mit Festhalten und Polizeianruf. Ein unglaubliches Verhalten. Zum Schluss funktionierte dann doch ein Gerät. Das Essen war natürlich kalt, das überbackene Gyros angebrannt.

Der erste Eindruck war schon am Telefon sehr gut. Sehr aufmerksamer Service, freundlich, immer nachfragend, auch bei erhöhtem Gästeaufkommen. Sonderwünsche bei Allergie wurden ohne Murren freundlich entgegen und ernst genommen. Das Essen war 1a Qualität. Wer hier meckert - sie sind in einem schönen Restaurant und nicht in einem Imbiss. Wir kommen wieder. Nach 1 Jahr waren wir wieder da und können nur sagen, diese Familie hat das beste Griechische Restaurant Deutschlands. Perfekter Service, Freundlichkeit und 1a Essen. Wir kommen wieder.

An Weihnachten Sonderkarte ohne Fisch und Geflügel, so gut wie nix für Vegetarier, höchstens Salat oder Kritharakieauflauf, völlig lieblos auf ein dickes Stück Feta geklatscht. Teller mit Filet mehr als übersichtlich. Man muss schon den überteuerten Nachtisch bestellen, um satt zu werden Fast schon aufdringliches Personal, dafür aber sehr schönes Ambiente Im Lauf der Jahre leider immer schicker und teurer geworden aber leider auch immer schlechter Hier passt der Spruch: Früher war eben mehr Lametta. Nachtrag: Da sowohl die normale Karte sowie die Weihnachts und Silvesterkarte online einsehbar sind, die Bestätigung gefunden, dass die Karte an Weihnachten nicht nur reduziert war, was ich noch nachvollziehen kann, sondern jedes einzelne Gericht , angefangen beim Tzaziki, ist auch teurer als sonst Absolute Frechheit, nur noch Geldschneiderei hinter schicker Fassade. Im neuen Jahr für uns keinen Besuch mehr wert

Wir waren gestern mit 31 Personen bei Mykonos. Uns hat das Essen & Trinken durchgehend sehr gut gefallen, trotz der großen Menge kam alles gleichzeitig, war warm & sehr lecker! Die Reservierung & Vorbestellungen liefen per E-Mail super unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Und das Essen schmeckt überdurchschnittlich gut. Immer wieder gerne.

The restaurant is very elegantly decorated, the staff are exceptionally attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. The food we ordered was delicious and looked very appetizing. We always enjoy coming back.

We chose this restaurant based on several recommendations – unfortunately, we can't share those positive experiences. First, the positives: The ambiance in the glass-enclosed conservatory was truly lovely, and the waiters were friendly at first. Unfortunately, that was about all that impressed us. A pregnant friend ordered salmon – what she received was a half-raw piece of fish. After requesting a replacement, we were given the same plate again, this time with completely charred fish (literally black) and the already nibbled, by then cold, side dishes. After another complaint, the dish was served again – unfortunately, once more with raw fish. Even the nibbled cheese apparently found its way back onto the plate "for sustainability reasons." After more than two hours, she was offered a different choice. The kitchen's explanation: "My husband broke his arm and came down especially for you to prepare the fish. Furthermore, it's not possible to cook the salmon, as it's currently sold, completely through." No apology, no understanding – unfortunately a completely disappointing visit that we cannot recommend.

We love kicking off the weekend here. The ambiance, the quality of the food, and the friendliness of the entire Vompras family and their team make every stay at their establishment a weekend highlight. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, our visit was unsatisfactory. The staff was very inattentive. The food was rather disappointing overall. Almost all the dishes were cold; only the rice was pleasantly warm, and the quality is no longer what it used to be. Items were forgotten, and after 10 minutes, we finally received the attention of the staff to ensure we had received the missing items. The area in front of the restrooms is quite messy, and the restrooms themselves smell strongly of chlorine. For the rather high prices, we expected significantly better quality.

The food was really top-notch, the ambiance was okay, but what really annoyed me was the noise level in the restaurant; it was too loud for two people who wanted to get to know each other.

We haven't been to MYKONOS in a while (a few years). Unfortunately, I have to say that not everything has improved. The portions are absolutely inadequate considering the extremely high prices. The portions were tiny. The "potato slices topped with cheese" still has considerable room for improvement. The bifteki was generally delicious, but also very small and very oily. The service was okay, but the waiters were rather unpleasant with their communication systems (compare McDonald's). I don't need to visit MYKONOS again.

Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed... I ordered lamb, and the plate was poorly presented. Two small rice balls were unfortunately very small and only slightly warm. For €30, I expected something different. It used to be better at Mykonos, and we missed the bread with olive oil beforehand. However, since the old boss is no longer there, it's definitely noticeable... I hope the restaurant takes this to heart and works with love on the dishes, otherwise I think it will quickly go downhill.

I recently ate at the Mykonos restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience didn't meet my expectations. The ambiance is generally very nice and tastefully decorated, but a corner of furniture right in front of the customer restroom, where chairs and other items are stored, is distracting. It looks messy and doesn't fit with the otherwise stylish impression. The food was overall rather disappointing. Unfortunately, almost all of the dishes were cold; only the rice was pleasantly warm. For the rather high prices, I would have expected significantly better quality. On the positive side, the drinks were served very quickly. However, the staff were a bit pushy and, unfortunately, not particularly pleasant. I found it particularly annoying that all the employees wore headsets. This may help with organization, but as a guest, it's irritating when a waiter is standing next to you and you don't know whether they're talking to you or someone else. Overall, the experience was rather mediocre. I don't know if I'll come back again. For the price, I expected more.

The waiters were really nice, but the food was very average considering the place is much more expensive than many other Greek restaurants. They served bread with oil to start with, but they didn't offer bread with the salad, which you can get everywhere. Grilled peppers for over €8, and then there were about 10 of them? The Metaxas sauce wasn't that good either. The tomatoes in the appetizer salad were shriveled. There was too little oil in the Greek salad, which, at €16, is something I've never seen anywhere else.

The service is super attentive and friendly; we haven't been served this well in a long time. The food came super quickly and was incredibly delicious! The portions are perfectly filling.

I was there yesterday, June 7th. It's been a long time since I've been to a Greek restaurant where the portions were really tasty and generous. The staff were super friendly, and yes, other people are friendly too, but this one was just great. The restaurant was still 90 percent full at 10 p.m. I was told it's always this full here. I can understand that.

A very free gift idea: vouchers can be redeemed in the restaurant and/or the snack bar. Both restaurants are next to each other.

The food is good, but it has also become more expensive, like everything. Since it's always full, the service sometimes falls by the wayside (waiting too long). But that makes up for it with friendliness.

It's a shame, not like it used to be, there was very little bread in advance, the portion was rather small, but expensive. Friendly, service and food was good. It was cold even though we weren't sitting in the winter garden.

Great Greek restaurant in Rheda-Wiedenbrück

When making a reservation at short notice, both owners were very friendly on the phone. Food plentiful and tasty. Great homely atmosphere. Even the appetizers were large. Simply something special. It was a little quieter at the front right in the separate winter garden.

Food is very tasty and better than the usual Greek restaurants. But The price… old Swede. The starters in particular are really overpriced. Amount of food: rather reserved Ie. Very expensive but small portions... If the price were 20-30% lower, it would be a full 5 stars.. but the price.. of this one is really awesome.. you get twice as much (realistically really) product for the same money somewhere else

The food was Greek and therefore somewhat special. Mustard with Wiener Schnitzel, not our taste. Liver was good. Platter for 2 was tasty and plentiful. Everything was fresh and tasty and plentiful. The starters were so plentiful that there was hardly room for a main course. Half works too. Very busy restaurant but not annoyingly loud.

It's been a good, feel-good address for decades and has never disappointed me. Price and performance top, everything today days is no longer a given. Keep it up.

Once again a guest at Mykonos, once again the liver was chosen and once again found to be very good. Very friendly staff and will go to Mykonos again.

It's really such a great restaurant, everything fits. The knife fell off the table and I immediately got a new one. Highly, highly recommended.

Had bad stomach cramps after eating, staff is extremely pushy and very difficult to understand due to poor German language. I would rather not eat anything than go there again.

I can't give it five, that wouldn't be fair to others. But I've eaten here again for a while and it was OK. The price was absolutely fair, the taste was also good. In any case, you can bend in the Saloniki grill room next to it.

The food is really tasty and there is a good selection. The service, on the other hand, is very bad. Lots of staff with few guests. Very inattentive and no response even to inquiries! We will take food from the snack bar with us, but won't visit the restaurant again for the time being.

Very expensive restaurant compared to other Greek restaurants, where you will be full with what is served I couldn't take any photos... there would have been too many plates to look at 🤷‍♂️

Packed full and therefore very restless. Nice and unobtrusive staff. Operation worked well. Other restaurants don't open due to a lack of staff, but here the family moves with them.

There were four of us and we were very disappointed. The quality and freshness of the meat dishes was mediocre at best. The food was also lukewarm. The best thing was the espresso...that was about it. :-(

The three of us met in Rheda because we came from different directions! None of us knew the Mykonos restaurant, and booking a table at short notice worked without any problems! A nice restaurant with a good ambience. Service took care of us immediately, was very nice and accommodating. Even though there wasn't that much going on, we still had to wait a while longer for the food. But it didn't matter, because we had a lot to tell each other! Food, really, really tasty (had the large grill plate), portion size as normal for other Greeks! The price was also right, nothing to complain about! We agree and would meet there again! Oh yes, there is one more little thing.... The gyro was really in very small pieces on the plate, I would have liked it to have been cut larger!

We were there with a larger group and had a lovely evening. The food is generally good but the prices and portion sizes don't match up for a long time. The service is okay. When ordering beer, you had the feeling that the size you ordered wasn't being delivered on purpose. You got 0.4 instead of 0.3... “a small beer” is pretty clear. Restaurant is clean and cozy.

Wir waren zum widerholten Mal dort, was schon für sich spricht. Ein bunter Mix aus der Speisekarte wurde bereits dort bestellt. Alles lecker, alles zu empfehlen. Am meisten hervorheben muss man jedoch den einzigartigen Service. Freundlich und kompetent. Was kann man anderes sagen als: "Wir kommen wieder!"

Das essen war richtig trocken und zu wenig, manche Keller hat man nicht verstanden bzw. Wussten sie nicht was zu tun ist und dann ist immer ein anderer gekommen

Sehr nette Service und fantastisches Essen. Hatte einen Bauern Grillteller und ich, als echt guter Esser, hatte schon etwas zu kämpfen und war froh keine Vorspeise genommen zu haben. Fahren wir definitiv wieder hin.

Alles in allem war es okay, nichts besonderes aber okay, jedoch verstehe ich nicht wie es sein kann dass Zaziki in einem griechischen Restaurant wo es ja zu Gyros gehört 2,50€ extra kostet. Bei unserer Beilage wurde das Brot vergessen, wir hatten dann etwas nachbestellt was wir am Ende bezahlen sollten, man es aber klären konnte. Service war in Ordnung, man hat kurzfristig auf einem Feiertag ein Tisch bekommen jedoch wie gesagt war es kein besonderes Abendessen, hat nicht ausgefallen geschmeckt, es gibt griechische Imbissbuden wo das Gyros definitiv besser schmeckt ebenso das Zaziki.

Das Restaurant Mykonos hat ein schönes Ambiente und die Bedienung ist wirklich freundlich. Leider haben sich in den letzten beiden Jahren die Preise stark nach oben entwickelt und die Portionen sind zusätzlich kleiner geworden. Das Preis -/Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht mehr. Schade, mittlerweile überlegen wir zweimal, ob wir ins Mykonos gehen.
