Worst restaurant I've tried in my life. Disaster. Never again

The reception was friendly. Ask whether you can also order dishes outside the menu [some squid rings with 2 lamb chops]. "No" OK, then just go by the card. The side salad was very good, tasty and fresh of the day. But that was it. The portion of Plato was manageable, the Suzuki was ok, but the Suflaki and the Gyros were dry and a bit tough to chew. The rice, which was originally swapped for fries when ordering but then forgotten, was devoid of any condiments. (French fries were then quickly served without any charge. Would I visit this location again? No, not really.

The first time everything was great, but I went there twice yesterday with my wife. The service or waitress asked several times whether we had already eaten or we hadn't received anything yet and had to wait repeatedly then my wife had a larger piece of minced meat Plastic. what doesn't work can happen but the reaction from the service was outrageous. No apology, just what it was and where it came from. I told him that but he didn't care, no reaction. and at the end my wife wanted to have dessert My wife had to wait 30 to 40 minutes for this and then was told that they didn't have it if we waited another 10 minutes, they would bring it from another branch, that's not possible. Never again.

We would have to search a bit to find it as it is a bit hidden. From the outside it doesn't look very inviting, but inside it is very cozy with lots of seating that is somewhat separated from each other. We were warmly welcomed and immediately received an ouzo on the house. The gyro was very good and also the liver. Also the side salad. The price-performance ratio is right. It is definitely recommended for taste.

Had gyros with Metaxsa sauce When I pulled a very, very long black hair out of my mouth after 2 minutes, I immediately felt sick and couldn't continue eating. You should wear a hairnet in the kitchen Something like that is disgusting and that was the last time I entered the restaurant

I've known this Greek restaurant for more than 30 years and haven't visited it in a while, I think 10 years. When I entered the restaurant I felt like I had been transported to another time. Almost nothing has changed here. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised at the same time. The service was great, friendly and prompt without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Very meat-heavy, as usual with Greeks, as it should be. We had a lot of fun there and went home happy and, above all, full. I'll check back more often now. Thanks, everything was great

The tappas were great (feta, eggplant, etc.)... The meat from the gyros plate wasn't great. But we'd love to come back. Very friendly waiter, atmosphere a bit old.

Very tasty food, fried to perfection and seasoned to perfection. The cellar who served us was very warm and accommodating. As a welcome there was ouzo for everyone, as well as a stomach sealer. The only thing I have to complain about is the furnishings, which are already very old, the ceiling is partially covered with a kind of plastic bag. It looks the same as it did 20 years ago. But the food is great!!

The 4 of us had a nice meal. Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The food was very good and we were received very kindly by the owner (at least I think that is the gentleman). We also ate here last year and it was nice and the food was good. Definitely worth it.

We welcomed a short, good portion size, the steak was juicy, large and tender. The side dishes were fresh and crunchy and, above all, the olive oil was not bitter at all. I can recommend it. ✌️

In der ältesten Stadt Deutschlands altgriechisch speisen! Man muss den Chef ermutigen, vom gängigen mitteleuropäischen Geschmack abzurücken, dann ist die Lammkeule aus dem Backofen superb. Ich habe z. B. Um eine Prise Zimt gebeten.

We wanted to go out for Greek food again after more than 10 years and this restaurant was recommended. We parked at the train station and walked the few meters. The service was great, very friendly and accommodating and the food was very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices: under 100 euros for 3 adults + 1 child (food and drinks together) Will definitely come back! Only recommended!

We were in town for the weekend and made reservations here beforehand. This also has been good. From 7:30 p.m. it became full. At the beginning the service tried very hard to bring the order quickly. The starter wasn't quite finished yet when the main course arrived. It was very nice, but I would have liked to have waited a moment longer. Which unfortunately happened after the invoice was ordered. We felt like we had forgotten something! Regarding the food, everything was good, everything tasted good. The main course could have had a little more on the plate, but it was enough. But the service was always friendly and there was a special treat at the end. Pickled apple in ouzo with grenadine syrup.

Very nice shop reminiscent of Greece, as well as the impeccable and quite friendly service. The best thing is that it has free underground parking right in front of the Restaurant.

Although the food tastes okay, the whole restaurant seems very run down and old. The decoration and the guesthouse seem very depressing and dark!

More than disappointed... I was visiting Trier for 2 days and wanted to go out for a fancy meal... The atmosphere was really nice, I have to say. But the waiter doesn't work at all. Actually chews on his fingers and then brings the plate to you at the table!!! Also very inattentive when you wanted something to drink... The gyros didn't work at all. It had something like wobbly chicken meat (it definitely wasn't pork). Plus the prices are incredibly high... I've never seen a simple gyro plate for 20 euros!

I went there today with my wife for lunch. Now, the location is not the prettiest! And when we entered (Saturday at 13) it was completely empty apart from one other guest. Usually for me that's not a great sign. Place is very spacious, interior is old and worn, but has retained its charm. You have the traditional statues and decor which you usually see in Greek restaurants, outside Greece. The food is always delicious and fresh, the service is always super nice and the ambience is great! Unfortunately it suffers somewhat from the location.... The station district has suffered somewhat in recent years. But we always like to come!

A service that speaks to its guests and their business partners on a first-name basis; table reservations not kept; More than 45 minutes of waiting time for ordered food... that has been a thing of the past for months. We are now extremely satisfied with the best Greek restaurant in Trier and are happy to recommend it to many friends and acquaintances (see photos).

Das Essen hat uns positiv überrascht. Der Service war ok. Das Ambiente ist nicht sehr einladend. Wir würden nicht rein gehen hätten wir vorher nicht die guten Bewertungen gesehen.

Lekker Grieks gegeten. Bifteki en Suzuki. Het restaurant ziet er klassiek Grieks uit. De bediening is vlot en zeer vriendelijk. Genoten.

Wir sind an Silvester mit Freunden hier gewesen und haben Glück gehabt noch einen Tisch bekommen zu haben. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und die Bewirtung vorbildlich. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an willkommen gefühlt und wurden sehr herzlich verabschiedet. Es war viel zu tun, aber man hat sich Zeit für uns genommen und wir werden gerne wieder zurück kommen. 🤠

Eins der besten Restaurants in Trier, von Essen und Service! Es hat leider viel zu lange gedauert, bis ich dieses Restaurant kennengelernt habe. Die Lage ist ziemlich unscheinbar und man vermutet zunächst nicht viel. Kommt man aber in das Restaurant rein, ist man überrascht, welchen liebevoll eigenständig eingerichteten, griechischen Flair man hier vorfindet. Man wird herzlichst vom Besitzer begrüßt - auch beim allerersten Besuch -, an seinen Tisch geführt und mit einem schmackhaften Ouzo Willkommen geheißen. Die Karte bietet verschiedene griechische Spezialitäten zu sehr fairen Preisen (zu Zweit kann man mit Getränken und zwei Gängen für ca. 50-60€ essen). Man hat kein Problem, etwas Gutes, aber immer wieder auch etwas Neues zu finden. Die Wartezeiten betragen normalerweise 20-30 Minuten. Es wird immer wieder nach einem geschaut. Wenn man Durst hat, muss man es meistens gar nicht aussprechen, sondern wird direkt gefragt, ob man noch etwas möchte. Das Essen schmeckt jedes Mal sehr lecker und wird in großzügigen Portionen serviert! Nach jedem Besuch freut man sich bereits auf das nächste Mal. Seitdem ich das Restaurant entdeckt habe, empfehle ich das in meinem Bekanntenkreis fleißig weiter, stets nur mit positiven Rückmeldungen. Wer diese Bewertung liest, dem kann ich auch nur empfehlen, in diesem tollen Restaurant vorbeizuschauen!

Etwas dunkel aber alles in allem gut...leider sind die Preise doch recht gestiegen und die Portionen um einiges kleiner als vor 3 Jahren. Gerade so dass man milde satt ist.😆

Van binnen ziet het restaurant er prachtig klassiek Grieks uit, gastheer is zeer enthousiast en charmerend. Eten kwam op redelijk tempo en het was heel erg lekker met ruime porties. Zeker een aanrader als je in trier bent!!

Ambiente: griechischer Stil, Service: nett, freundlich, zuvor kommend, aufmerksam und schnellE Bedienung. Essen: hat sehr gut gemundet und reichlich, kein Problem wg. "Doggy bag". Die Reste haben auch noch aufgewärmt zu Hause geschmeckt. Übrigens: tolle Auswahl von Gerichten auf der Karte. Tiefgaragenparkplatz! Eng, aber vorhanden. Fazit: immer gern wieder! Keine Fotos vom Essen, leider.

Op vakantie in de eifel, en zoals gewoonlijk zoeken we dan een grieks restaurant op, dit keer in Trier, het ligt net buiten het centrum en op het eerste gezicht ziet het er niet uit maar het viel wel mee eenmaal binnen, tja oudbollig zoals gewoonlijk in sommige delen van duitsland de tijd heeft ze ingehaald. Maar goed de bediening was vriendelijk en je hebt het dan druk in je eentje want het was goed bezet. Eten was goed en voldoende maar de souzouki was voor mij te droog maar de rest was goed en gelukkig niet te zout.

Prijs-kwaliteit zeer zeer goed. Vriendelijke bediening! Zeer lekker gegeten. Ruime porties. Griekse wijn is best lekker.
